There was hardly any breakfast options as they were mostly picked over and nobody was replenishing what was there. There were no towels in the pool at 10 am.

Did not have enough pillows for everyone, called for extra blankets and had to go get them myself..kept telling me the pool was only for guests, I said ok, she said it again..I told her I was staying there, then she backed off. Ran out of toilet paper and had to send my kid to get more.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and kept on top of keeping the area clean and stocked.

That the website says there is airport shuttle but there is not. There was some pink mildew in the bathroom (caulking) Strong cleaner smell

The breakfast food was redundant. They served sausage, eggs, pico and shredded cheese 2 days in a row so we didn’t even go to breakfast the 3rd day. The bedding had stains, the couch was very worn, we dared to not even think about lying on the let out bed because the mattress was gross and the bedside lamps needed to be dusted.

The pillows could be better. The TV couldn't find a connection the next morning. Other than that we were very pleased.

Very dirty. Lamp was filthy like someone spilled something on it and it never got cleaned. Same with mirror by the sink. Mold around tub grout. No pad on the ironing board. Smelled nasty. Floor dirty.

There was food left in the fridge and stunk up the room. They also did not have any extra pillows.

Easy to get to wherever you need to go. Shopping, eating.

They need to get rid of the carpet and go with laminate floors

We were quickly checked in by Tomeka who was very helpful providing us with all the information we would need for our visit! The breakfast area was well attended and stocked by another delightful woman, Lynn who also shared some great tourist tips and was a joy! Hot eggs & sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, very nice.

The bathroom was a mess, the handle on the tub was about to fall off, as was the spout to the tub. The shower curtain was also about to fall down, only 1 screw barely holding it on at each end. The floor and grout was disgusting to say the least.

The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. The housekeepers never came to tidy up the room during the stay either.

They're addressing the issue professionally. Working on main level for water leak in hallway and some rooms. The wet carpet was being dried with a blower that blocked a great portion of the hallway.

I didn't get the right room. They nit picked about every little thing never said nothing about no balloons or visitors my daughter was just diagnosed with leukemia and all she wanted was a couple girls to sing happy birthday and swim them leave. Well I ended up leaving the day before I was suppose to check out. I would really like to be free imbued forgot that day at least thank you

The facilities are in need of maintenance, the food was minnumal and the eggs were cold. No potatoes, just eggs and turkey sausage that lacked flavor. They ran out of waffle mix and did not provide a refill. When we asked about muffins we were advised that there were only so many per day even though there was still an hour to go in the breakfast time. Coffee and Tea were blocked off after breakfast time.

Although stated as a smoke free facility, the smell of smoke and other (pot) was very strong in the hallway. Slamming of door in next room as people were constantly in and our was very disturbing.

Had to change rooms due to the t.v. Not working, second room tub was dirty, I realized the shower drain was clogged and water backed up . Jacuzzi jets need to be cleaned a clog of hair came out the jets🤮hotel is very dated chipped furniture, stained furniture cushions, dirty curtains

Accommodating, friendly staff!

Felt like a hotel that you get abducted in! Being a single female traveling alone.

The breakfast was good.

It was extremely filthy. It looked like nothing had been cleaned. Stains all over the linens, the tubs, the floors. The front staff were extremely rude to my children. The jacuzzi was broken, the pool had insects and hairs in it and was only lit by emergency lighting. It was one of the worst places I have stayed in for a while.

I liked it because it was close to the airport.

We couldn’t check in at 4. Had to come back.

Choosing BW as a mini vacation home away from home was the best decision to make. Check in was super quick, easy and definitely hassle free with the help of Mr.Kyle at the front desk while making us laugh too. Nothing beats going for a quick swim also in the middle of the Michigan winters, where BW made that possible with their hot tub and pool area. We are already thinking about when our next return will be. ✨

I only write reviews when negative things need to be said. I'm very busy and do not waste time on such matters; however, this place has moved me deeply. This should speak volumes for those who review this. As a traveling businessman it is my profession to travel the world for meetings. Im constantly staying in 5 star hotels and rarely stay in lower than 4. Of all the places I have been in all my years, there is something very genuine about this location and it's employees. A woman by the name of Kayla checked us in and really shined above many employees, being overly helpful and overly kind. I was taken back given what I experienced. And then next morning a woman by the name Diana served us breakfast and was so wonderful to be around, she was extremely helpful and again, beyond kind. I thought then, a review must be in order, but I had never written a positive review before so I wasn't sure what to say. Diana and Kayla were both over and beyond in terms of hospitality. Of all the places in the world, a tiny little hotel in Flint, Michigan moved me further than any place has in 15 years. (And I stay at a different hotel about 5 days a weeks) Theses women (and I'm sure there are others here) are the model employees one would want and never let go of. From my profession, when you have an outstanding employee, you hang on to them for dear life. Payroll may have 5 workers at a time but if 1 of your workers is thriving business for you or is doing laps around other employees, you increase their salary to make them never quit; why? Because, that 1 employee is worth more than all the other 4 combined... Do the math and do what you need to do to keep Gold employees forever because I promise, they are amongst the rarest. Treat your employees as good as they treat your customers. They are the entire reason you're in operation. I never expected such quality from any hotel, especially from Flint. Again, in all my years I've never written a positive review... Ever. -John V

We stayed here during our daughter’s softball tournament and were extremely disappointed in how our group was handled. From the moment we checked in, we felt unwelcome. The tone and approach from the front desk made it clear our group was seen as a problem rather than guests. The team gathered for a pizza dinner in a conference room specifically to be respectful of other guests and limit noise in common areas. Despite that effort, staff informed us that complaints had been received, authorities were called, and we were told to end our stay mid-tournament. There was no meaningful attempt to work through the situation before escalating it. For a hotel that hosts families and traveling teams, the response felt disproportionate and poorly managed. Tournament weekends are about young athletes building memories. Having that disrupted the way it was left a lasting impression, and not a positive one. Based on this experience, we would urge anyone to reconsider staying here.

I stay here often. It’s always a great stay. The staff is even better I’ve had a couple small issues parking wise because I’m in a semi and Jeannette the GM always takes care of it! The evening and night crews (Trina, Kayla, Kyle, Jessica, kyle and Cassandra are awesome and always make us car haulers feel like family! This will always be my go to!

The price. I thought I was booking directly with Best Western, but after all was said and done it was Booking.com. After the confirmation, it said that the reservation had been requested (never heard of that before), and then found out I was charged more than what I would have paid if I had (known) booked (which I thought I was) directly with BW. VERY frustrating.

We stayed as a family and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was great to have on site and Diana, the breakfast attendant was personable, efficient and always had a smile for us!

The location was good. Breakfast was average. Staff was wonderful. Manager Sam made our family reunion warm and inviting. Matt the receptionist/concierge was extremely helpful and friendly. Diane was conscientious and attentive for breakfast.

I booked a king room with a kitchenette. There was nothing in the room that alluded to a kitchen except appliances. No utensils, pans, plates, serveware—just empty cupboards and drawers. The room was dark, not particularly clean and the bathroom was tiny. I expected more from a king room.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee was wonderful, I drink 3 to 4 cups a day. The hotel was clean. The people on our floor were loud, I think they suffered from sundowner syndrome. The breakfast that came with the room was delicious and fresh tasting.

I like how clean it was how friendly the staff was helpful and the reference is always good
