Hilton Columbus/Polaris

No breakfast but the location was great.

Leaving was my only issue.

It's our favorite getaway. I a beautiful hotel and it now has updated seating outside we absolutely loved it.

That it was only a 1 night stay

Location

Service was not great. No room service, AC in room was very loud. Very slow service in restaurant even when the restaurant was not busy. Bar drinks weren’t good. Waitress didn’t offer to replace.

I did not partake in the Breakfast! The hotel was Beautiful! Everything was up to par!

There were no trash bags in room!

My reservation from on booking.com was not honoured

Very nice and clean for what I could see

The fact that the systems were down, we couldn’t check in and it was booked because my daughter’s 13th birthday so we didn’t get to have a sleepover for her 13th birthday. Think about how disappointed she is and what

Very clean and open

Nothing

Loved the vicinity to the highway, stores and shops

Every hotel Ive stayed had complimentary breakfast this one didn't very disappointed, on top of that I was charged for parking! Never in all my years of traveling have I paid for parking at the place I'm sleeping at are you serious what genius came up with that idea he/she should be fired immediately, plus those charges weren't disclosed up front. Yeah right Hilton needs to quit trying live up their name and live by the services they should provide. Yes Ive put the infamous bad word of mouth out to not stay there ever

Comfortable beds. Unusual to find 2 king beds in one room.

Pillows, lobby, and jets in hot tub. That’s it….

The floor I was on did not have an ice machine. Mind you it said vending and ice and there was no vending. I said heck with it and went back to my room. I then realized there was no microwave in my room. I then go to check my fridge and it was not cold at all.. the hotel gives off 5 star down stairs and in your lobby but when you move around you don’t get that. I was a bit surprised because at least at a cheap hotel you can get all that with no problem. Also, the hot tub is not hot but the jets are amazing. Pool idk if it’s supposed to be heated but baby it was ice cold. Now on cleaning if you look close on the walls in rooms, door handle, bathroom mirrors you will see scum, broken stuff, stains, and built up nasty stuff. Best part of this stay was how great everything was around us and the pillows I love a good pillow. I’m just saying for a well known hotel I would think it would carry its self better. Attention to detail meaning cleanliness, comfort, and focus as if you were the guest. There are chips in walls and trim everywhere and stains on ceiling in room . There are loose blocks in pool area. Just some things you want to pay attention to.

The location is great. Close to everything. Very clean and tidy in the room and around the hotel. Easy to navigate. Meals were great, services were great, and great place for a family to stay.

The pool was very cold. Not very kid friendly due to temperature of the water. Rooms didn't have a tv guide or any tourists attraction ideas. Like any hotel beds are not super comfortable but our kids thought the pull out couch bed was cool.

Friendly atmosphere

N/A

The lobby was very nice and the rooms was very nice didn’t realized I had booked it so I was very pleased when walking in

Nothing it was very nice

Misrepresentation of amenities of the room

Ac didnt work it was 84 degrees in my room

They were very welcoming to our pet and very responsive when we needed extra towels! Highly recommend!

Bathtub was a little outdated but clean.

It was nice but not even a free cup of coffee in the morning...

Good location and friendly staff. I have stayed here before and would gladly return

The Polaris location is near many good restaurants and shopping attractions

Overall, the hotel was nice and clean, and the rooms were great and comfortable.

There was a cheer competition going on, and it was insanely crowded. The pool was horrible, so many people and parents were not watching their children. Also, at 2 am, someone banged on our door, scaring my children and me. Called down to the reception and let them know, but they offered no help or anything for what happened.

It was very nice and clean and close to all the activities we planned to do.

When we arrived , we were never told that our room was ready and then the front desk told us they didn’t see our free breakfast that we purchased . They were just not very nice at all and very dismissive . They ended up telling us we could eat their continental breakfast that was very gross , even though they had a restaurant with breakfast . We paid extra for something that was not good at all .

Hotel was nice, clean.

I could hear everything from the hallway to the outside where people were sitting by the fires.. at at 1:30am, i could hear the people talking and laughing. Did not like getting woke up in the middle of the night.

Nice atmosphere and clean rooms

The staff wasn’t rude but wasn’t informative or talkative

Loved the lobby area. It made it easy to gather with family and visit. Beds were very comfortable.

Staff was supportive but not very helpful. They were busy so giving them slack. The food we had at the bar was very good.

The room we booked early had an exercise bike and equipment right next to the bed. I asked to change rooms and was told they had overbooked and nothing was available in the booking price. No other option was offered. The bar had lights that glared directly over us which couldn't be dimmed as the dimmer was broken. The draft dispenser was also broken so we had to have either canned or bottled beer. There were many organizations involving kids staying and they were running around the halls yelling and screaming which we asked 3 times for them to go to their rooms. We put up with it until 10pm then left our room and asked for a refund. This was supposed to be an anniversary stay at the Hilton, not Holiday Inn express.

Very clean, friendly staff, great bar!

Nothing, personally had a great experience and will be back for sure!

I could hear our neighbors whole conversation through the shower drain while getting ready in the morning. There was no vent in the bathroom. The shower sounded like an airplane lifting off. Not kid friendly as there were NO kids channels on the TV for free. The price was expensive.

Location was perfect

Unfortunately there was a family next to us that had a little too much fun that evening which led to someone getting sick all night which we could hear through the thin walls. Needless to say, we didn’t get much sleep.

Clean and friendly staff and facility.

Had trouble getting into our room.

Clean quiet spacious

No brakefast

It was a comfortable stay, but for 2 people the bathroom was small. There are many amenities (shopping, food) very close and we had fun bowling across the street.

I was charged extra for a food/bar bill that wasn't authorized. We did not eat or drink at the hotel. I was told a refund would be issued for the charge, which was +/- $80, but the refund received was not for the full amount (only +/- $60) and with the holidays, I just don't have time to keep calling to try to figure out what we were incorrectly charged extra for.

Excellent service, very clean, great breakfast, quiet

Size and cleanliness of room.

1. AC thermostat didn’t seem to work properly. Too hot or blasting cold. 2. Standard Wi-Fi doesn’t give you access to the internet web, only your emails. In order to get “ secure” internet access to the web you have to join the Hilton “ Club” which requires the guest to enter personal data that could be mined. 3. They leave bottled water in your room but it’s $2.00 if you aren’t a club member. 4. Room service is available for an automatic addition of a 24% service fee- that’s in addition to tips etc. Prices for breakfast menu aren’t provided on the door knob order form. 5. “Restaurant” isn’t off of the lobby, it in the very large, noisy atrium lobby where people congregate, talk, walk thru with suitcases etc. Not relaxing, difficult to hold a conversation. 6. Difficult to sleep- people running up and down the hall after midnight. Guests staying across from us were signing songs in front of our door at 1:00 AM. When asked to stop they increased their behavior. 7. They charge $10.00 to self park. This hotel is NOT in an urban area. It’s surrounded by dozens of hotels, restaurants and businesses. I have stayed in dozens of other hotels in this Polaris area and NONE of them charge for parking. 8. Staff at front desk for check in were not friendly. This was my first and last time staying at a Hilton. It’s all hype, and they nickel and dime you.

Close to shopping and dining

Modern and clean

Did not eat breakfast. Location was perfect because our daughter lives very close.

The bed was very comfortable

It was a Little pricey

Clean! Nice bar and beautiful outdoor area

I was greeted by the most friendly guest associate. She smiled a lot and took care of the check in process in minutes. I just appreciate her warmth, courtesy and kindness. The entire hotel smelled amazing from the moment you entered the doors. The elevator and hallways were clean and the rooms were divine. I loved the walk in shower. The entire night's stay was so wonderful and checkout was a breeze. I am from Cleveland and I will certainly come back to the Hilton for another stay. My new favorite hotel!

The bed amazing

Bathroom not completed hole around tile and diverted xalve

Great location. many dining and shopping options just across the street. The hot tub was very clean and relaxing. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in town.

Clean room, was in nice location close to lots of activities and shopping. Room was okay…the AC was a bit noisy with clicking sounds and “heavy startup and shut down” every so often through the night.

Hot Tub & my bed was Very clean and Fresh- No bugs!

Morning breakfast served in the dining room near the fireplace, was delicious and Lauren was efficient with her service.

Checkout took a little longer than expected. I know they ask for guests to check-in online, but that is not what we prefer to do. While we could hear staff on the other side of a wall, no one came to check us in for several minutes. also, there was no way to let anyone know that we were there The room was well equipped, and VERY comfortable. We were very happy with the bed, pillows, and towels. Overall a very nice experience.

Staff was dismissive and rude

We didn't appreciate being charged $10.00 to park in the Hilton's parking lot.

Fitness room needs some additional equipment.

Enjoyed facilities

the gym was amazing. the beds were extremely comfortable and the room was clean

Nice ambiance, friendly staff, clean

Comfortable hotel

Nice, clean, overall good.

It was great! Perfect!

Amazing hotel

Great location, super clean, lots to do. Perfect stay!

All over the top!!

A bit of confusion during the check in because of multiple wrong booking on my credit account. Chris, the front desk manager quickly and easily cleared it up. Many thanks to her.

Trump is pesident

This hotel was perfect!

..

Everything was excellent!!! My daughter and myself had a very nice time!!

Clean, very comfortable bed

Nothing

Easily accessible

Elevator broken. Only one working

Very nice location; clean. Our room was very spacious and the staff were welcoming.

Everything was good except the food served at the in-house restaurant. The waiting time was 10 minutes before our server came to greet us, 25 minutes for our to-go food order (which was fast food quality and did not taste good at all) that costs $100. Our server was very pleasant and did the best she could as it seems she was working the tables solo.
