L’emplacement était parfait en face de la station de métro et le service était impeccable. L’hôte de la réception s’est bien arrangé de nous changer de chambre après une première nuit bruyante dans une chambre donnant sur la rue. Malgré le fait que l’hôtel soit complet on a réussi à passer à une autre chambre plus calme.

Le bruit des autres voyageurs surtout la nuit! Plusieurs clients sont là pour faire la fête et n’ont aucun respect envers leurs voisins

L'emplacement car nous allions voir un concert au stade Olympique Luis Company, le style de l'hotel charmant et chic, le personnel trés serviable et agréable.

j'aurai aimé qu'à ce tarif de chambre on puisse se garer sans frais au parking , si disponible car il est petit, mais il était pratique car se garer dans la rue peut être difficile. Il nous a manqué une lumière de bureau quand on s'assoit pour écrire ou travailler dans la chambre surtout car la luminosité était plutôt sombre

Emplacement idéal juste à coté d'une bouche de Métro, très proche du port. Les ramblas sont accessibles en 10 min de marche. De nombreux commerces tout autour de l'hôtel. Chambre propre, plutôt spacieuse, salle de bain avec baignoire, idéal quand on a des tout petits. Terrasse avec bar sur le toit de l hôtel avec une belle vue à 360° sur toute la ville. Personnel très agréable et toujours prêt à rendre service. Je recommande.

La piscine est plutôt petite et assez fraiche (même en aout). Le ménage a été oublié une fois pendant le séjour (pas la fin du monde). Le quartier n'est pas toujours bien fréquenté le soir.

Amazing hotel and such a lovely experience! 🥰 The reception team was super welcoming and always ready to help with any questions. Special shoutout to Oscar — he was so much fun, gave us loads of great tips on where to go, and was absolutely adorable! 🫶 I especially loved doing my workouts on the rooftop under the sun and then cooling off in the pool. Such a great experience and definitely one of my favourite things about the hotel! The rooms are perfect — spacious, clean, and really comfortable. Overall, an amazing hotel — would definitely stay here again! ✨

The only thing worth knowing before coming is that the hotel is located near an area that can feel a little sketchy (not the hotel’s street itself, but the neighbourhood just behind it). That said, it didn’t affect our stay at all.

Ubicación y comunicación excelente. El personal inmejorable. Cama muy cómoda. Piscina y zona de cócteles de la azotea con vistas impresionantes.

El garaje es muy estrecho aunque se agradece. Las instalaciones necesitan mantenimiento y re-styling además de insonorizacion.

Big room

The room ( internal, high floor ) was elegant, spacious snd quiet. The staff were all fantastic. The Rooftop views were spectacular and the pool was good to cool down in. The tortilla slices at breakfast were my fave.

A bit far from Born and Gothic quarter but still there were character laden streets and good Tapas bars around. Accomodation prices are really high in Barcelona .

A clean and normal size room.

1. The double bed is two single.bed put together and the worst part is the single beds are on wheels so we will drop in between. 2. Noise from the hallway, noise from the street, noise from the upstairs and noise from the vibration of the metro or truck passes by. 3. The curtains will let the lights through.

God placering. God morgenmad med stort udvalg. Fantastisk tagterrasse.

Rengøring kom altid sent om eftermiddagen.

La proximité et la serviabilité du personnel

Le bruit constant (la piscine qui fait résonance dans la cage, les gens qui courent et crient dans les couloirs - dans leur chambre, ...)

La proximité du métro. Très bien desservi autour resto, mercado, facile de l’aéroport. Propre et sécuritaire

Le prix est totalement trop élevé. Plus de 250€ la nuit sans petit déjeuner chambre standard donnant sur cours intérieur c’est à dire étouffant. Nous avons eu une chambre PMR qui en soit n’est pas grave mais baignoire dans cette chambre, robinet abîmé, pas de miroir pour se maquiller, télé avec des chaînes locales sans pouvoir mettre Netflix. Franchement pour le prix c’est abusé.

We had a stopover in Barcelona on our drive to Alicante and we chose to stay at Hotel Barcelona Universal, this was a great decision later as everything from comfort to cleanliness and service were tip-top. Rooftop pool was amazing and we made good use of it on the warm summer day of August. Rooms are well laid out and come with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was again a 10/10.

The check-in process could have been slightly faster, as I had already pre-checked in by entering my details 🙈

la habitacion fue una recioen reformada espectacular, la ubikcacion perfecta tube una averia en casa que vivo cerca y me vino fvenomernal, luego tienen una piscina que por desgraci no pude disfruta pero me la ofrecieron uan dejando la habitacion con lo que detralles genial, vivo en el centro, trabajo enfrente hotel, ajun asi seguro que con alguna amiga volvere

I had such an amazing stay, and the staff was truly wonderful. I will remember Dahlia every time I have chamomile tea — she recommended it as a hangover cure, and it actually worked! Her recommendations for good shopping spots were priceless as well. Anargyros also had great tips about places to visit and things to do, and my friend was delighted to have someone she could converse with in Portuguese. Both of them were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and their attitude really made us feel welcome and relaxed. The room itself was great: spacious, very clean, with excellent air conditioning and plenty of closet space, which I particularly appreciated. The hotel also has a lovely pool — small, but very nice to have after a day out in Barcelona. The location is extremely convenient, with a metro station just a minute away, so getting around the city is incredibly easy. Breakfast was delicious too, with a good variety and plenty of fresh fruit. Overall, the staff here have set a new benchmark for hospitality. Better soundproofing would make the hotel pretty much perfect :) But even without it, I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Barcelona.

The only downside was the noise from the street. At the beginning of our stay, we requested a room change because of it, but we ended up not liking the new room quite as much and asked for our old one back. All this back and forth was handled impeccably by Carlos at reception, with amazing patience and a great sense of humor.

The hotel rooms are clean and very well equipped with air conditioning. Satellite TV was good 👍. Hotel Barcelona Universal have very good breakfast available at the premises. Their staff is extremely polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is good too. There is a metro station just outside the hotel entrance. Highly recommended 👌

Great location, great view from the room, we enjoyed the rooftop and the personnel was very kind.

Die Unterkunft liegt optimal an der Haltestelle zweier Metro-Stationen, sodass Besichtigungen sehr einfach von dort starten können. Der Pool mit Sonnenterrasse ist ein guter Platz für eine Siesta.

Unser Zimmer hatte zwar zwei Fenster , die jedoch nur in einen sehr engen Hof (eher Schacht) zu öffnen waren.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The location is very good and convenient, with a metro station right in front of the hotel, which makes it easy to get around the city. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of food. A good choice for a comfortable stay.

Die Lage ist perfekt und eine gute Ausgangssituation für einen Städtetrip, die U-Bahn-Haltestelle unmittelbar vor der Tür und damit auch eine gute Anbindung an den Flughafen. Die Dachterrasse ermöglicht einen genialen Überblick mit Aussicht über die Stadt , der Pool und die Bar eine willkommene Entspannung zwischendurch oder für einen Absacker am Abend, wenn man nicht mehr ausgehen möchte. Komfortable Zimmer und ein Frühstück, dass keine Wünsche offen lässt!

Es ist verständlich, dass in diesen Zeiten Wassersparen angeraten wird. Allerdings, wenn der Vorlauf an kaltem Wasser vor dem Duschen zu lang ist, ist das schlecht möglich. Es fehlt vielleicht noch ein Schminkspiegel.

The perfect walkable location with many restaurants and shops around the building. The rooftop pool was nice. The restaurant on site had delicious European cuisine, for breakfast including honey, cinnamon sticks and fresh mint. I was able to program my TV for English which was a nice surprise. The Staff was friendly especially house keeping. This was a pleasurable stay since my prior stay in Barcelona was a nightmare. When booking a hotel in Barcelona this will be the first location that I will check for future cruises 🚢.

During this stay some room amenities were missing and if my daughter had not informed me what she received in her room I would not have known. The room was comfortable however, I would have liked more lighting and at least one USB connection.

Dès 7h30 du matin, nous sommes réveillés par la femme de chambre qui claquait les portes de son local et tapait son chariot de ménage contre les murs. Pas de stores et les rideaux occultants étaient insuffisants pour empêcher la lumière de rentrer dès le lever du soleil. Assez déçue (au vu du nombre d’étoiles de l’hôtel) que seul un savon pour les mains et une bouteille d’eau pour 2 étaient mis à disposition pour toute la durée du séjour. Pensez à prendre vos propres nécessaires.

Frokosten var kun helt ok. Savnet mange ingredienser. Ble uansett litt bismak, da vi fikk beskjed av personalet om at vi ikke var på listen selv om jeg vet at jeg hadde betalt via Booking.com. Fin beliggenhet mot Rambla ( men som denne gangen ikke var en koselig opplevelse, da den var under opmbygging) mye støy og bråk fra bygningsarbeidere

Ingen varmtvann i dusjen siste dagen, nesten ikke trykk, måtte dra opp i do 4 ganger hver gang man var på do, forferdelig harde puter Et merkelig opplegg oppe på terassen hvor stolene ikke var rundt bassenget.tungtvint å gå til bassenget hver gang en ønsket å bade

When we arrived we paid 100€ for deposit with the credit card they told us at the checkout that in 3/4 days the money will comeback to our account…they didn’t sent it and also didn’t respond to our emailes I’m so disappointed

La piscina muy pequeña, sin suficientes quitasoles. Falta de mantencion y limpieza de los sectores cercanos a ella.

Fijne kamers. Ik had een rustige kamer gevraagd en gekregen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Heel vriendelijk personeel en een extra dank aan bell boys.

Staff exceptional, felt at home and looked after. Rooms a great size. Good breakfast selection, fresh food and drink. Roof is incredible. I stayed first solo, then also part of a family of 5 with kids. Both stays were exceptional.

Le dernière nuit n’ayant pas dormi tôt j’étais en retard pour le check out , un agent se présente a la chambre se qui est tout à fait normal, mais vraiment sans aucune flexibilité avec même un ton menaçant !!! J’ai proposé de payer un extra pour mon retard se qui m’a étais refusé.

Lage ist top, direkt mit der Metro L3 vor der Haustüre. Zimmer war sauber, Bettwäsche wurde jedesmal bei der Zimmerreinigung gewechselt.

Klimaanlage direkt gegenüber vom Bett und ist direkt in Richtung Bett ausgerichtet - wir fanden das etwas ungeeignet, um die Klimaanlage so die Nacht über eingeschalten zu lassen. Unser Zimmer war Richtung Hof ausgerichtet und in der Nähe vom Aufzug - die anderen Gäste im Gang konnte man teilweise sehr gut hören, da die Zimmer hellhörig sind. Ansonsten alles andere top!

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est superbe et le rooftop est également très agréable. La chambre était bien équipée, propre et confortable.

L’isolation phonique des chambres est vraiment insuffisante : j’entendais clairement ce qui se passait chez les voisins, ce qui m’a empêchée de dormir correctement. Par ailleurs, je trouve que la piscine est assez petite par rapport à la capacité de l’établissement.

We loved the bed the most! I slept 12 hours solid our first night 😂😂😂😂 the staff were really helpful and kind. As a Brit abroad the air conditioning was our salvation too🙏🏻😂❤️

Servicen var i top og rengøring af værelserne meget flot og personalet var imødekommende Metroen ligger lige udenfor hotellet som vi kan anbefale at bruge for at komme rundt det fungere.

Vores værelse var meget koldt om natten man skulle næsten have trøje på fordi aircondition slår direkte ned på sengen. Forstår ikke hvorfor man skal have anvist et bord til morgenbuffet. Der er en del trafikstøj ud mod gaden fordi vinduerne ikke er lydisoleret nok.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is in a great location steps away from the metro, walking distance to the Magic Fountain, Port Vell, and La Rambla. Pool was a much appreciated siesta highlight!

We had two room rooms booked. So,maybe it was difficult to have two rooms together, but one of the rooms only had a frosted window to an interior hallway/courtyard that was connected to some noise that could be heard from the pool. It also had a slight odd smell. But our other room was great with no complaints!

Exercise room very small basic, TV didn't work. Some dumbells broken. Pool pictures exaggerate as the pool was very small. Sun loungers were very poor and would not recline - they were effectively chairs forcing you sit upright or lie on the ground to sunbathe effectively.
