This stay (my second) was very good. Quiet good facilities and very accessable. The only minor issue was the bathroom exhaust fan appears very noisy. As there was a note advising that the hotel was upgrading it's facilities I didn't bother to report it, just ensured I only used it when showering.

Great hotel for travellers. Clean quiet and has a nice Japanese style restaurant.

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. The only problem I had was that the water heater was a little finicky. As an American I like hot showers and my particular room the water heater had some issues,but overall it was a great stay.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was nice, spacious & comfortable. Staff are friendly. Only the running water at the shower head was very slow. At the restaurant for breakfast, The coffee taste old & bitter.

When booking this hotel we were told that there would be hot water to use. But, there was no hot water for our entire stay! They said their maintenance took care of it but they didn’t.

The room was very clean. Even the hallway to the room was kept clean and smelt great. The breakfast was good which includes eggs, choice of bread, a pancake, or rice and a selection of meats to choose from, which includes a hotdog, ham corned beef, or tocino. The best part of staying there was the customer service experience. Edison the front office agent and his team made us feel at home. They went above and beyond to to provide excellent care for us. They toasted our pizza, brought out breakfast and coffee too our room, flagged down trike service for us to go to the mall, and carried our bags in and out of the hotel

Strong points We had a large room, excellent layout. Staff were friendly and courteous. Very good value for size of suite, which had a sofa, and kitchen bar and decent size fridge. Weak Points Wifi was very poor, 3mbs or non at all, our room was a digital desert, no wifi. Even paid data was poor. Acoustics were poor-too many hard surfaces to corridor and were woken in the middle of the night by people talking.

Aside from being well-furnished in an earthy color palette, the room was perfectly designed for a business traveler with a good desk, strong WIFI, and a fast-heating hot shower. Parking is plenty and the location is good as it is close to an SCTEX exit as well as close to commercial establishments.

Rooms are old and smelly. Pillows are dirty. Bathroom too!

The hotel looks good outside but is very dated inside, looks old and not up to date with facilities. It definitelty need refurbishing which I think is going underway already cause construction noise is being heard during day time. A bit annoying, but is needed to keep up with other hotels. The rooms are not centrally controlled and a bit too dim with its light. Airconditioning are still manually controlled. Nonetheless, all the staff are friendly and very helpful with all our request and helped with our purpose of wedding preparation. Very convinient location, very near expressway for motorist, with in 5 mins away from supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, and police station and army camp (if you dont feel secured enough). Overall, it is comfortable enough.

The ambiance of the room

That its not that crowded and have ample space for your vehicle and the room space is big.

Lack of toiletries

Conveniently situated, decent facade. Rm. 123 has green plastic on its wall mirror, stained ceiling, clogged sink, toilet tank that does not refill water at normal speed, frayed and gray dirty-looking worn-out bath towels and hand towels, floors that were not mopped thoroughly.

My husband were glad we choose Microtel to be our home away from home even for a night. He did not use the first night as my husband got sick coming from the Tarlac Circuit Hill because of the extreme heat so he went home in Baguio. However after resting the night at home, he decided to go bck in Tarlac Circuit the next day and checked in at your hotel to utilize our accommodation. My husband was happy with my choice of hotel for us to stay in while in Tarlac. Hotel was away from busy area or town proper. Being isolated from its area, it was quiet and peaceful. We had a goodnight sleep & bed was confortable. Room amenities were also very good especially having a bidet☺. Free buffet breakfast was filling although there is still room for improvement. More selections of food would be nicer & not limited to Filipino cuisine. Bacon, more fruits, pastries could be added maybe. My husband also said now we have a 2nd home in Tarlac & we will staying here again next time he has to race or join an event at the Tarlac Circuit.

The hotel is clean and quiet with helpful staff. However, it would have been better if there were coffee available in the room.

It wasn't bad but this place needs a serious upgrade. My mirrors were severely chipped, the bathroom wasn't super clean; it also looked super old. Renovations are definitely needed.

It was okay.

Good but no hot water

the hotel look ok from outside, however, the rooms are really dated. but the beddings & towels are really clean & new. staying on the ground floor, the curtain is not big enough to cover the windows, when cars drive past, headlights shining into the room.

Tired, dated, in need of renovation. Noisy Aircon with gaps to the outside around it. Hard beds. Dim lighting. No crockery, utensils supplied in a suite room. Saying all this all the staff were extremely polite, helpful and friendly.

Older hotel, needs updating. Noticed hair on bathroom floor when we first arrived. Sink was leaking and there was no wifi. However staff was friendly and helpful

It's typical of a microtel. I should have listened to trip advisor and booked another hotel instead.

Steff and Ann at the front desk were very nice and helpful, very professional. June was great -answered all my questions, invited me to New Year's Eve party, shuttle driver to Robinson's/within Luisita. After 2 weeks this was definitely the best hotel experience. Best bed by far, best shower pressure, free-flowing coffee machine in lobby, breakfast was OK. We went and had cereal the first day but they were very nice to offer that - we left for Pinatubo over an hour before breakfast was supposed to start. Next day we got slept until the end - had eggs, cereal, bananas, hot dogs.

its quiet and relaxing away from busy street of the city

The Microtel has an excellent staff and not too far from the center of town. Small yet comfortable. I recommend for a brief overnight stay.
