Everything was excellent. The desk clerk responded with several good suggestions regarding finding a dinner location. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom clean and there was no noise. Breakfast buffet was the usual assortment (no waffle, but a pancake machine) and very easy to manage. A very nice restaurant with bar is located within the hotel. The staff allowed for a one-hour late departure at my request. The location of the hotel just off the Interstate about 40 minutes from downtown Boston and near the "Battle Road" sites in Lexington and Concord. Overall, a very good stay.

A slightly lower price would be nice!

Only the location and the staff working there were the plus points.

The rooms were dated and didn’t smell clean. I booked 3 rooms with 2 double beds in each and one room they didn’t have what I paid for and gave me 1 king size bed. I was told they would refund that night back to my booking.com account within 3/5 days and I’m still waiting and it’s day 7. Also my deposit refund for 1 room still hasn’t been paid back onto my card!!!

The breakfast was really good. Bed very comfortable. It is the second time I stayed in the hotel, and I would return it.

Clean property great location

The double beds I did not like they need queen beds. The beds were very small.

Good American breakfast, not fancy, but complete. Room was clean and attended every day. Wifi worked flawlessly. Comfortable amount of furniture (area where computer could be set up with office style chair as well as comfy chair with reading lamp). There is a bar/restaurant onsite and restaurants within walking distance, these just didn't match my stay.

The staff I dealt with was a bit on the mumbly side (in fairness, I have pretty old ears).

Breakfast was fine...plenty of options...nice variety and the pool was clean and warm, the beds comfy.

Shower was a little grungy and the carpet was patched and a little beat up.

One thing that didn’t work was the mini fridge in our room, I had called down on the first day but nobody came and fixed it. The urgency of coming up and looking at it and fixing it wasn’t there. They could have changed our rooms or change the mini fridge.

check in was smooth and straight forward. Dinner was phenomenal! The continental breakfast was great

The bathroom was terrible. The toilet was very old and too low. The tub is installed about 4" above the finished floor which makes stepping out the shower extremely dangerous if you don't consciencely plan for it. The room door does not close smoothly. It's old and the hinges are shot. You can see where someone has planed the edge of the door so it will shut. That leaves large gaps across the top of the door

Faced issue while usage of shampoo conditioner and lotion, as they are very small and tight. We are two pole single bottle did not help also very hard the lotion to come out. Hence it would be great if u can change as a normal bottle. Also no handwashing lotion available in the room. Experience with stains in the carpet in the room. Thank you

The staff was very accommodating. The attached restaurant had good food, though it was quite loud.

The facilities were old and dingy, definitely needed uodating. We had to change rooms twice, the first time because our 2nd floor room was directly over the restaurant and patio and so loud we couldn’t sleep. The second room had a non-working air conditioner, and the smoke alarm malfunctioned and was beeping constantly. The 3rd room had loud partying adjacent to us, despite our calling several times.

The welcome staff was kind and friendly, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very appetizing and very yummy that I can’t forget it!

My room was filthy, i had to wipe all the door handles and light switches down. dirt all around them. The room was so gross and uncomfortable. it was 4th of July weekend. so every place was sold out or extremely expensive since it was last minute, other wise i would have left sooner. as is i left a day early, i was told id get a refund for my last night stay. never received it.

Excellent experience staying at Best Western, Waltham. Convenient location, very clean, friendly staff, house keeping service was exceptional. Complementary breakfast was excellent!! Over all very good experience.

Reception girls were miserable. Breakfast sausages were over microwaved "Brown n Serve" type. They were like cardboard! No USB connections in rooms.

The WiFi was adequate but it would periodically have to be reconnected. Also the morning we were checking out when we came back from breakfast (before the checkout time) our keys didn’t work and we had to have some one let us into the room.

The breakfast was decent especially for being included in the price of the stay. The restaurant attached to the hotel had amazing food, location was great and there's gas station/convenient store right across the parking lot.

I rented 2 rooms for 2 nights and in one of the rooms we had rented the bathroom door would not lock and the other rooms bathroom the toilet would not work the whole duration of the stay and when we called to report it to the front desk for the 1st time the lady had an attitude about it.

The locations was good, the free breakfast was better than usual.

Our room didn’t have any extra seating other than the desk chair. One comfy chair or sofa (there was room) would have been nice. We never got any hot water out of the bathroom faucet. We were there inky 2 days so didn’t let any one know.

Just a fair experience, very expensive for perceived value.

Upon arriving at my room the door was ajar, someone had the deadbolt assembly in the lock-out position, very strange. I walked in and saw used towels on the toilet seat cover along with a used bar of soap next to the sink. The tub was wet, along with the shower curtain; it was obvious someone had just used the shower. The rest of the room was clean, however the right side of the king mattress had an obvious sag to it. I tried the left side- same result. The mattress clearly needed to be replaced. I was going to complain however I was told the hotel was sold out and there was nothing they could do. Had I stayed more than the one night I would have pressed for a different room with an acceptable mattress.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

The outlets in the room were "loose" and our "blocks" wouldn't stay in (Rm. 510) I should have mentioned it at the front desk

SUUUPER BREAKFAST. Eigener Frühstücksbereich (nicht missbrauchte Lobby) mit für US Verhältnisse großer Auswahl, sogar frische Früchte. Sehr gut ausgestatteter Fitnessbereich. Im angeschlossenen Restaurant und Bar gibt es zig verschiedene Biersorten zur Auswahl.

Wären doch nur alle BWPlus so ausgestattet...

Properly was awesome! Beautiful hotel . Breakfast was fantastic, different varieties everyday, coffee available all day. Hotel offer fruit water in the lobby, is pretty good. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower and AC working properly. Room didn’t have a view, however you get what you pay for. Some rooms have porch and better view. Still love my room.

Gave my reserved handicap accessible room to someone else. Room I ended up with was not practical-not enough bars to use the tub. Bathroom door got stuck on the floor before fully open. Toilet didn't flush well.

Location & staff

Adding a 3rd person to my reservation resulted in 4 very different prices from 4 sources: two hotel employees, a corporate employee & online. As a result, I cancelled my reservation & made a new one that was more $ but less than what one of the hotel employees quoted.

The hotel has a very well known area restaurant with easy access from inside the hotel. Great facility.

The bed in my room was the worst hotel bed I have ever slept on. The mattress was horrible and the mattress foundation had springs sticcking up out of it that I could feel poking me all night long. Worst nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel.

We loved the location of this hotel and the fantastic breakfast! Another thing that I really liked about this hotel is the complementary waters that we received each day!

The only reason I didn’t give this hotel a 10 is because of the pillows on the bed. I know that sounds petty and I don’t mean to be petty, but the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was great!

Restaurant that was attached to hotel.

No smiles on front desk employees. They actually let homeless people rent a room, take showers, and eat breakfast. And one homeless person had a dog with them. A no dog hotel. The first day had to switch the room because the shower did drain properly. I think Booking.com get the worst rooms in any hotel and pay more.

Breakfast was great. When breakfast time ended staff didn't rush you out and let you hang and enjoy the time with family and friends. The food at the restaurant was good and affordable.

Couldn't use the heater on cold and rainy days as there was a strong smell.

Zane at the front desk is awesome. She gave us directions to a grocery store and is wonderfully warm. Keep her at all costs!

Nearby gas prices were too expensive, but GasBuddy saved me 50 cents/gallon.

Friendly staff, nice sheets (not itchy polyester microfiber), solid budget hotel breakfast. Only complaint is that the mattresses were pretty worn, firm and a bit lumpy. Pretty convenient to Brandeis with a car.

Just wanted to thank Ruth and Sam (front desk) for all their kind and professional hospitality during my most recent stay at The Best Western Waltham. I have stayed here many times over the past decade, and will continue to do so because of their consistent excellence. As usual, I was provided a clean, comfortable, quiet, well stocked room, with all the on-site amenities required for successful visit. There is a great complimentary breakfast, wifi, widescreen tv, and a nice in-house restaurant, etc. Also, the hotel is conveniently located just off the highway with a gas station close by. Rich P.

Easy to find, short drive to alewife to get into Boston, or Uber/lyft into Boston. Hotel is always clean and staff is always pleasant.

I haven’t had a bad experience here, I’ve been staying here for the last 5 years.

Lokalizacja hotelu jest bardzo dogodna, zarówno blisko do Bostonu, jak i innych okolicznych miejscowości. Pokoje i łóżka komfortowe i wygodne. Generalnie warto wziąc ten hotel jeśli planujesz zwiedzanie okolic Bostonu na kilka dni.

Śniadania bardzo ubogie i mało smaczne. Obsługa hotelu mogłaby być milsza. To ona zaniża ocenę.

You could hear the elevator ftom the room EVERY time it was used. Pool claims to be heated but is not. Construction noise starting at 6am. Pretty sub-par breakfast options.
