Room and bed size. The front desk staff was helpful and professional. The free breakfast had an excellent omelet station. It was also conveniently located near my son's university, making drop-off easier for me.

When I first checked in, I was assigned a room that had an unpleasant odor. Thankfully, Emanuel at the front desk responded immediately, and I didn't have to wait long for a better room.

They dont clean your room if you stay on certain days of the week. A/C makes a lot of noise (like a truck engine) in the room when turned on. Very small room with no A/C to eat Breakfast, people were on top of each other.

Nice quiet location and plenty of free parking. Breakfast ends early, not ideal for the jet lagged. We had a suite with a sofa bed for our child. The bathroom could use some attention as the door was swollen and couldn’t be shut all the way. Otherwise very good accommodation and good value.

Convenient location to nearby convention. Calm quiet neighborhood. Simple but clean rooms. Satisfied with breakfast. Disappointed in check in process and the way it was handled by front desk. WiFi was so unreliable and problematic I couldn’t use it.

The location was great and the hotel concept is well thought out. Also, the housekeeping staff was wonderful—they truly did their absolute best to keep our room clean and well-maintained during our stay, despite the poor condition of the property.

The room was falling apart and in terrible condition. It was located right above the laundry room, so all the chemical fumes and steam came directly into our room. The bathroom door was water-damaged and swollen at the bottom, making it almost impossible to open and close. The refrigerator was also falling apart, and the loud AC was disastrously noisy. Although booked for 4 people, the apartment only had 2 mismatched bar stools for dining. Breakfast was average, but the area was always overcrowded, and we constantly had to wait for refills of food and juice. Finally, the younger man at the front desk during check-in was very unpleasant—he rushed through everything and acted as if I should already know how all hotel procedures worked

We were a party of 5 (2 Adults and 3 kids) and the room we got with 2 queen and a sofa bed was not idea as the sofa bed mattress was not comfortable at all. Also, didn't like that the toilet sink was inside the room and not with the shower.

Et en plus, le personnel du petit-déjeuner était désagréable. Le personnel de l'accueil a donné les clés de notre chambre à une autre famille qui est arrivée le soir, après nous. À 22h30, ils ont ouverts la porte avec leur clé. Heureusement, nous ne dormions pas mais ce fut assez désagréable pour nous, comme pour eux d'ailleurs. Le ménage n'a pas été fait le premier matin. En fait, ils avaient oublié de nous enregistrer. Quant aux ascenseurs, moquette et autres, ils sont vétustes pour ne pas dire sales.

The toilet in our room was very loose from the base; it looked like it was hanging by one screw. The bathroom looked old and weathered. The cleaning facilities felt like they are not doing a thorough job. There are fingerprints on the exit doors and handles. The elevator had stains on the carpet and walls. I had to wipe down the door handles and kitchen appliances in our room. The bathroom doorknob had a stain that I couldn’t identify. Also, the kitchen in the restaurant looked messy with food on the floor. The pool didnt look like it wasn’t cleaned daily.

The hotel location was fine for my purposes. The breakfast was OK, perhaps a little better than the standard hotel breakfast. The bed wasn't bad, but wasn't very good either. The exercise room is quite good. I used it on both mornings.

The blower on the air conditioning system was extremely loud and disturbed my sleep. I was attacked by cold air all night I felt like I was sleeping in a wind tunnel. The only way to avoid this problem was to turn off the air-conditioning altogether which was not an option during a time of high heat and humidity. I was happy to see a handheld shower in the bathroom (this room was designed to be barrier free for handicapped people), but the water just dribbled out from the showerhead rendering it completely useless. The wash basin faucet was too short so that when I used it the water ran all over the counter.

This was the worst hotel experience of our 12-day family road trip, during which we stayed at six different hotels. The property was noticeably dirty, and our room had a strong mold odor. I regret booking a three-night stay for my family. Housekeeping staff were also very loud in the hallways early each morning, which disrupted our rest. After reading many of the hotel's Google reviews rated three stars and below, I found that our experience was consistent with the concerns raised by other guests. I wish I had reviewed those comments before making my reservation. The original room assigned to us had a clogged sink, and the shower head appeared severely outdated and poorly maintained. The carpet was also old and visibly dirty. These are just a few examples of the maintenance and cleanliness issues we encountered, and I do not feel the need to list the many others.

My room did not have central air conditioning. It was inoperable with hot air coming out of the vent. They installed1 portable AC in the bedroom only , which obstructed the shade from being able to totally close , thus no privacy in the bedroom which faces the pool property. No mention of this during booking and at the check in. No help from hotel desk staff or management to address this matter because they as per the staff “overbooked, sold the rooms. Refused to provide a refund

The hotel is located in a quiet area, while still being conveniently close to everything. We chose to make breakfast in the in-room kitchenette, which was fully quipped with all the essential appliances and kitchenware, making it extremely convenient. The small living area in the room gets plenty of natural sunlight, and the bathroom was also very clean.

The mattress and pillows were a little too soft for my personal preference, but I think most of guests would probably find them comfortable. The refrigerator leaked a little, and water kept collecting on the top shelf. It didn't affect the lower shelves or our use of the fridge.

Staff were pleasant and the cost of the room was ok compared to downtown Boston.

Breakfast items were not enough constantly running out. The omlette station had a 30 minute wait. There were no seats in the breakfast area very overcrowded and poor selection. The hotel is a bit old and shows signs of aging and needing touch up renovation. I would skip this hotel next time and prefer residence inn by Marriott for overall better quality. The only good thing is parking was free but the bedroom and living room for a 1 bedroom king suite was very small and overpriced.

The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful I've encountered at any hotel stay. My room was clean and the hotel itself was easy to get to.

Room AC didn't work properly. It was stuffy and the AC unit was very loud. It also dripped condensation onto the carpet in front of the entry door.

Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a one bed suite. Room was a good size - shower room a little small but lovely big shower enclosure. Bed very comfortable. Buffet breakfast great - especially as it's free! Cleaning every second day. Pool area small but well looked after and clean pool towels always available. Restaurants and bars within walking distance and train stations just a short car drive/Uber away. There is a free shuttle into Waltham but we preferred to drive to Riverside or Alewife where trains were far more frequent to get us into the city.

The overall facility is shopworn. Hallway carpets are stained and worn and the hallways have a cooking odor. Breakfast was very basic. The tables were sticky. For the price, it would have been nice to have bottled water in the room, or at least a vending machine on each floor. You have to go to the front desk to purchase water.

Basic hotel on our drive from New Orleans to Boston. It served our needs. In the same circumstances I would stay here again.

Arrived after a 2 1/2 day drive from Florida. Checked in and was given a room on the 1st floor. Dark and dingy with a disinfectant odor. First floors room scenery is the parking lot and anyone who walks by your window could become a possible Peeping Tom. Obviously I went to the front desk and changed rooms. They gave me another first floor room because I had a small 8 lb dog with me and wouldn’t give me a higher floor. The room sucked also. Didn’t stay, checked out of hotel and stayed at Hampton Inn down the street. Night and day difference.

Polyester bedding. We came hoping to get a good nights sleep in the air conditioning. I kept tossing and turning and woke up sweaty. Then I saw the comforter was 100% polyester. I don’t care how cheap your hotel is, don’t torture guests with plastic bedding that doesn’t breathe!!!

They do not have daily housekeeping and they do not tell you that at check-in. Very poor customer service.

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. The living room and kitchenette area was an added bonus. The pool was fun however the chairs could have been kept cleaner. Other than that I was very satisfied and would stay again.

We stayed here while following Scotland in the World Cup. The hotel staff were all superb. Could not do enough for you. So helpful, polite and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise as we had not booked breakfast. Something different to eat everyday. Washing and drying facilities down by reception. Used them twice. Was great to freshen everything up. The free transport bus was also a great. I think it’s available within Waltham between the hours of 8-10 am and again 4-7pm. (Don’t quote me on this times). We were able to use it to go to the train station and to go along to Market Basket for food supplies. Would recommend Jake and Joes sports bar near by for food and drinks also.

Nothing to dislike. Only that guests should research beforehand how they should approach getting in and out of Boston as there’s no public transport nearby. If you aren’t driving then you need to rely heavily on Ubers which were expensive over the course of the week. That’s on the guests however rather anything being wrong with the hotel.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The bar was open but the liquor cabinet was locked and only one person was covering all aspects (bar, food, cooking, service, billing). Not sure why but no one communicated the situation so we waited for 30 minutes to order only to find out we couldn’t order what we wanted.

It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated that the bedroom in our room was completely separate from the living area with the sofa bed for the kids (with a door that closes rather than just a room divider). We also appreciated that the A/C was the newer style controlled by a thermostat rather than the loud window units of some hotels, which made for a better night's sleep. We asked for a quiet room for a light sleeper in our group, and it was perfect. We didn't hear a thing and felt like we were on our own. We never tried the pool, but our kids loved the hotel breakfast the next morning and the adults appreciated that the coffee provided was actually really good. We would definitely stay here again!

The rooms were spacious well equipped, you could eat in the bar or take food to the room or order in so, very flexible. Laundry facilities were handy.

Fantastic base for Boston. Excellent accommodation and service. Good value and served adequately as a small outpost for the greater Tartan Army.

Free breakfast was great - included omelette and eggs cooked fresh to order. Rooms clean and comfortable with housekeeping every other day. Guest laundry. Helpful and friendly staff. Plenty parking. Fantastic outdoor pool with clean pool towels each day. Shuttle service in to Waltham where you can catch the train in to Boston although we found it better to drive/catch an Uber to other stations like Alewife where there were far more trains throughout the day. Restaurants withing walking distance and supermarket a short drive or 20-25 mins walk away (beware it's uphill coming back!!).

We did visit at an exceptionally busy time when the world cup was on but it would have been good to have a few extra beds/chairs around pool area.

Excellent hotel. Clean and comfortable. Only downside nearest liqueur store was a fair distance away.

My room had a nice separation between bedroom and kitchen/living room so this was super nice. The kitchen was had pots and pans so it was easy to cook for myself.

You must have a car to get around if you stay at this hotel. But I did calculate this into my plans so for me this wasn't an issue.

We stayed at this hotel to visit Family. Our room was facing the courtyard, which had a pool in it. Many teenagers were playing in the pool accompanied by their parents and were screaming and shrieking for hours. My wife had a migraine and was in a lot of pain so I called the front desk to see if there was anything they could do to make it a little quieter. Front Desk refused to help and had the manager call our room. The manager also didn’t do anything to help make it a little quieter. We weren’t asking for much, just a little intervention to keep it a little more peaceful. Horrible experience, I will never stay at this chain again.

We were originally planning on staying in Worcester because it would have been closer to family and friends but the hotels in Worcester were the same price/more expensive and definitely not as quality as Hyatt House. Check in was easy and quick, the suite we stayed in was quiet and comfortable, and we enjoyed the free breakfast both mornings of our stay. We signed up for rewards and got a free drink ticket for the bar and an extra hour to check out. The suite was very clean and housekeeping maintained the room well (though we try not to leave any messes). This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had.

Stayed here for a few nights for work and it was a decent experience. Hyatt House is an apartment hotel featuring a full kitchen, separate living/sleeping area, along with amenities including a gym, pool, bar, restaurant, and coin laundry. Property is located in a quiet industrial park with plenty of parking on-site. There are several hotels in the vicinity too. Check-in was a touch odd as their system was "down" and I got my key merely by showing my ID. Wanted to grab a bite at the restaurant, only to be told that both the bar and restaurant were "closed" that evening only... There are limited dining options within walking distance. Downtown Waltham is a quick 10 minute Uber ride away. The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious featuring a full kitchen, including a range, microwave, and dishwasher. The living area featured a sofa bed along with a separate TV. The bedroom featured a comfy bed, separate TV. The bedroom closet had an iron, but no ironing board. Plenty of towels, soaps, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tablets were provided. It was a bummer that the body wash was empty when I attempted to use it. Breakfast was decent for being complimentary. There was usually some sort of powdered eggs, an omlette station, or hard boiled eggs along with some sausages, pancakes, pastry, and fruit selection. The property has a market selling beverages and snacks along with a business center right by the front desk.

We are still arguing about being charged and additional $162 when we prepaid. Now after numerous calls to hotel to straighten it out we have filed with our credit card. Staff people were almost impossible to reach and unresponsive to our request to fix the bill.

The location

We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights (May 26 to 30) to attend a graduation in Boston. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen, fully stocked with silverware, plates, microwave, fridge, toaster, etc. Loved having a small living room with couch to relax at the end of each day. Bonus points for the complimentary breakfast, which included made-to-order omelettes. The sole critique: they ran out of Greek yogurt for a few days - mentioning it so they can avoid it in the future :)

Unfortunately i was charged twice for the stay and hotel isn’t responding to my messages.

The hotel was very nice. The breakfast was good, the rooms were large and clean. The location is very convenient with access to the highway and restaurants.

Very convenient location. The staff, including destiny were very friendly and helpful and polite. The room was clean and quiet.

To rate higher, I would’ve needed secure Wi-Fi. The roads are configured a little strangely so seems smaller than they are.

Excellent stay. Location was great and rooms accommodating with full kitchen in rooms. Restaurant and bar area was excellent and the breakfast each morning with cook to order eggs and omelettes was a great surprise. We will be back.

I stayed at this Hotel in May 2026 for a Business Trip. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the minute I arrived until I departed, couldn't fault their customer service. The Hotel had all the needed facilities and my stay was enjoyable.
