Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre by IHG

There is a halal section for Muslim travelers. Room is very spacious and bed is comfortable. Location is central to two metro stations although you need to walk a little bit to reach the stations.

The pillows are too soft, however upon request, the hotel provided me with firm pillows.

It was great stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. Area was nice. A lot of Halal food in this area. You can go wrong recommended

Location was great

Eveeything was great. The proximity to all the places of interest to us. The cleanliness. The staff. The room size and facilities. And attention to customer service. Providing us with extra cot, water bottles, etc.

Nothing to fault.

We came back here after 2 days of checking out. This hotel was exceptional. Can’t fault it. Location, staff, amenities, room size. Etc.

Super

Type С.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I genuinely loved everything about this hotel! The best part for me was that they offer halal breakfast, and that too at a very reasonable price. The chef is extremely professional and makes every dish delicious. Especially in China, where finding suitable food can sometimes be difficult, I honestly had no issues at all during my 7-day stay. I enjoyed every moment with my family and had a wonderful experience. The location is also excellent, right in the city, which made everything very convenient. I have already returned home, but honestly, I really miss this hotel! ❤️ Whenever I visit again, this will definitely be my first choice. I would happily stay here every time. Highly recommended! 👍

The only issue is with the lobby seating. There should be more standard-quality seating there, because people like to sit and spend time in the lobby. The hotel should work on this, as many people were sitting on the floor simply because there wasn’t enough proper seating.

We had a very pleasant stay and received excellent service throughout. We were kindly given a complimentary upgrade from a two-bedroom apartment to a two-bedroom suite, which was a wonderful gesture and greatly appreciated. The concierge service was outstanding and definitely above standard. Special thanks to Allen and Kenny, who were extremely helpful in assisting us with booking tickets and took the time to make sure everything was properly arranged. There is also a very convenient store next to the elevators that stays open until around 1:30 AM, which was perfect for grabbing drinks and quick snacks late at night. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. The location is also very convenient, directly opposite a shopping mall with plenty of restaurants and dining options, including choices suitable for Muslim guests as well as many other international options. Overall, a very comfortable stay with genuinely helpful staff and excellent service.

Property was clean, staff were very helpful My experience was excellent

One note though: water bottles in the rooms were not enough

The stuff especially the Turkey manager- they were very helpful and supportive ( many thanks for them ) The location Wes just fine close to some good Arabic restaurants The breakfast was also fine ( HALAL food) with limited selections The room was big enough to accommodate for us

I have booked 6 rooms so there was some issues: - we gave sector the rooms to be in the same floor but they didn’t do it - they give us a room and we found that there are still people inside the rooms - the smiles of smoking was very noticeable in my room and could not sleep and had to change the room - the big issue was with the safety boxes in the room, I come to the room to get the passports and the money and entered the code but it gives error! So I thought someone broke into the room or tried to break it so I called the manager and the try to open it but it didn’t open so they had to break it !! That was an issue because first it might have damaged the doc and the money insides the boxes and that will runout our vacation and it took more than 1 hour! That was an unpleasant experience and I didn’t ask for compensation because I don’t want to be looked at as I am blackmailing the hotel.

The staff are very helpful and kind .Unfortunately i did not keep names ,there was a lady by the reception i think her name was Mia who assisted me to book an extra room after the first agent messed my booking. And a gentleman who helped me checking out ,looking for taxis etc again my bad i cant keep names but should be Zhou or something close . Looking forward to come back .

The staff were exceptional, and the international team with their strong English proficiency and great demeanor made adaptation much easier and more comfortable. I want to give a special to Front Desk Manager Kadri Ozgor—his outstanding leadership, warm hospitality, and absolute professionalism truly elevated my entire stay. He went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of with a welcoming smile, making me feel completely valued and well-cared for. 🤝💕🤍🤍 The room space was great and included a toilet with a shattaf (bidet) and a huge space. Furthermore, the room layout/partitioning was very comfortable. Renting a limousine car from the hotel was one of the best decisions, making transportation and reaching destinations very comfortable and easy. ✨ We also loved the 63rd-floor lounge, which offers a breathtaking and stunning view of the city. Plus, it was great that food items containing pork were clearly marked with labels.

There were some limitations regarding halal food options at breakfast. Which I would advice to extending more Arab food options..🥺✨ Additionally, the housekeeping staff need training on properly shaking out and changing the bed sheets, as I was itching from the bed during the first two days, and I noticed the sheets were not shaken out properly. I directed her to do so , which I believe is something that should have been done ✅

the rooms were comfortable and quite.

not having rooms at the same floor or next to each other.

Room is spacious and nice,

wash basin in the washroom has a problem in the drain and not working. Lift is not working as well. Got stuck inside once for more than 15 minutes. Not expected from the 5 star hotel.

5 gün boyunca ben söylemeden yastık çarşaf deişmedi ve oda çok kasvetli dolaba içecek ilk girdiğimde vardı sonraki günler yenilenmedi

Odanın şekli karanlık kasvetli eski temizlik zayıf

The location is excellent and very convenient.

The hotel is outdated and needs a complete renovation. The rooms and facilities look old, and the overall condition does not meet the standard expected for this hotel.

toutes et parfait

Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. What made our experience 10+ was the staff. We were allowed to get in the breakfast room couple minutes early when we needed to catch an early flight in the morning. In my past experience, some other hotels made us wait until the clock actually struck 6am. Nothing wrong with following rules and we can wait the two minutes. But the stuff here really show their compassion and kindness. When I requested a faster WIFI access for a virtual meeting, IT staff was sent to room to assist in an hour. There was faster WIFI access given to the room immediately.

Unfortunately the hotel VPN has some conflict with my work VPN which significantly impact WIFI speed. I could not have my virtual meeting in the hotel, but move to other location. It is not the hotel’s fault. I had stayed in other 5 star hotels in Guangzhou, and this was the first time I had a VPN issue. I hope they can use other VPN as I really like to come back again.

Every think

Room is spacious, location of hotel is good as there is a mall right opposite. There is a small kids corner, tennis court and decent gym. There is a meituan locker for the delivery rider to put the food

The lift is slow and doesn't seems to have sensor. It almost closed on me when I was about to enter it.
