The pool is incredible, better than the photos. The staff were excellent.

On site restaurants were very expensive and hotel vibe so we went offsite to eat at many of the amazing restaurants nearby.

Quiero felicitar todo el staff por la atención excepcional que nos ha tenido. Es un hotel que cuesta más que los otros, pero vale la pena.

I think the property needs some updates like a rooftop restaurant/bar, cafe location is really good overlooking the courtyard but not useful for business traveller.

What an amazing hotel, keeps up with the Taj tradition of massive hotels run with the care and warmth of your own home. Shankar, Arman, Rajendra from housekeeping… Chhanak, Vinod, Dhyan, Chef Aman from the banquet/events team… took great care of us, managed our chaotic changes with efficiency and a smile. love the hotel and could not recommend enough for a stay or an event.

It was so amazing staying at taj mahal new delhi everytime we come everything is so perfect we were always taken very well care off this place has taken all ohr hearts .... The hotel itself is superb — spotlessly clean, immaculately maintained, Stunning - a genuinely beautiful place to stay. We are very happy with our choice here. We thoroughly enjoyed the property. Note: The score would have been a 10 if the Taj Club was better (see below).

The Taj Club lounge on the high floor is another story. We paid a premium for it and it let us down badly. We usually arrived around 5pm, hot and tired after a day out, and the lounge was stripped bare. Nothing. Not a soft drink, not a yoghurt, not a piece of fruit, not a biscuit — not one basic item on any surface. Every counter empty, every tray gone. It looked like a room nobody was expecting guests in. A club lounge should never look like that, let alone every single evening. Worse was the service. We would walk in — often the only new guests in the room — and staff would carry on with whatever they were doing and simply ignore us. We had to chase them down to order anything. Nobody told us what was available, so we never knew if a fresh juice or anything beyond the basics was even an option. When we did order something as simple as a soft drink, it arrived wrong, late, or for one person when there were clearly two of us. Breakfast was no better. Not once were we approached at our table. Every single morning we had to get up out of our seats and chase staff down — often more than once — just to place a breakfast order. Not a coffee, not a menu, not a "good morning." And when we finally did order, nobody wrote anything down. The result was the same every day: the order came out wrong, and for one person instead of two. You should not have to go into a club lounge ready to fight for a glass of iced water, or leave your breakfast table to find someone willing to take your order. Stay here — the hotel deserves it. But if you want to enjoy the club, be ready to be assertive and work hard for whatever you want to get.

Recently I visited J Wellness Salon at NIU&NAU Taj Mahal hotel Delhi. I went for a haircut and pedicure. As I am regular guest there I always fall short of words. But yes It’s always guest first approach experience for Brand Taj they never fail to show tajness to each and every guest. Big shoutout to Ms Seema who always does her job beautifully, very professional and polite and listened closely to what I wanted. Ms Yogita at her best she made sure she delivered flawless results and made the visit more luxurious.

An Exceptional Stay at Taj Mahal, New Delhi My stay at Taj Mahal, New Delhi, Mansingh Road, from 2nd to 8th August 2026, was genuinely memorable. What made it special was not only the beautiful property, but the people, the hospitality, the food, and the remarkable attention to detail throughout the stay. Karan Singh Pabla — hospitality at its finest A very special mention must go to Karan Singh Pabla, who made an exceptional first impression right from check-in. Karan demonstrated what true Indian hospitality and personal attention should look like. He didn't simply complete the check-in formalities and hand me a room key. He personally accompanied me to my room, showed me around, and patiently explained the hotel's amenities, facilities, timings and services. What stood out was the fact that none of this felt routine. He genuinely appeared interested in making sure I was comfortable and knew everything I needed to enjoy the property. His manner was warm, confident and extremely professional, while still retaining that personal touch that is becoming increasingly rare. For those first few minutes, I didn't feel like I was simply another guest arriving at a luxury hotel. I felt personally welcomed and looked after. That is the difference between service and hospitality. Karan's attention to detail, willingness to personally assist, and the way he took ownership of the guest experience deserve a special appreciation. He set the tone for the entire stay. The food — exceptional taste and consistency The food throughout my stay was another major highlight. The quality, presentation and, most importantly, the taste were consistently excellent. The dishes felt carefully prepared rather than simply produced as part of a large hotel operation. There was a balance of flavour and refinement that you expect from a property of this calibre. What I particularly appreciated was the consistency. Whether dining at the restaurant or ordering in, the food arrived with the same attention to quality. At Machan, the dining experience was made even better by the team. Mr. Sanjay deserves special recognition for his attentiveness. You hardly ever had to look for someone—the moment you looked up, he noticed and would immediately come over to ask what you needed. He also recommended dishes from the menu, and what made his recommendations memorable was that they didn't feel like a standard restaurant upsell. It genuinely felt like he wanted to feed you well. Almost like a mother at home asking what you would like to eat and making sure you had enough. Ishman Singh — attention beyond the immediate interaction Ishman Singh at Machan also deserves appreciation. I was curious about the à la carte breakfast concept, and he took the time to explain it properly, including the cold buffet and how the breakfast worked. What impressed me even more was that he came back the following day and added to the information he had given me earlier. That small gesture showed that he remembered our conversation and was genuinely interested in making sure I understood and enjoyed the breakfast experience. That kind of follow-up is what separates attentive hospitality from ordinary service. Room service — personal attention even at 10 PM I would also like to recognise the restaurant manager who was handling room service during the evening hours, around 22:00. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but I definitely remember the attention he gave to my order. There was a noticeable level of personal involvement and care in the way my order was handled. Rather than treating room service as simply another order to be delivered, there was genuine attention to what I had requested and how it was prepared and served. I hope the management can identify him from the evening shift on those dates because people who take this level of personal ownership deserve recognition. Housekeeping — simply outstanding The housekeeping team deserves equally strong recognition. The housekeeping throughout my stay was outstanding. The room was maintained impeccably, everything was consistently in place, and the attention to detail was exactly what you expect from a luxury property. What I appreciated most was the consistency over several days. It wasn't just an impressive first impression—the same standard was maintained throughout my entire stay. The Taj difference — people who stay One of the things I found particularly impressive about Taj Mahal, New Delhi is the longevity of its employees. A large number of the team members have been associated with the property for 10–15 years. That is remarkable in today's hospitality industry, where staff turnover can be very high. And you can actually feel the benefit of that experience. The staff know the property, understand the standards, recognise what guests may need before they ask, and carry themselves with a level of confidence that only comes from years of experience. It also creates something very important: consistency. Overall Luxury isn't ultimately about marble, chandeliers or expensive rooms. Luxury is when someone notices what you need before you have to ask. It is Karan personally walking you to your room and explaining the property. It is Sanjay noticing when you look up and immediately coming over. It is Ishman remembering your curiosity and returning the next morning with more information. It is housekeeping maintaining the same high standard every single day. It is a restaurant manager personally paying attention to your room-service order at 10 PM. And it is the kitchen consistently delivering food that makes you want to order again. My stay from 2nd to 8th August 2026 was therefore much more than a stay at a luxury hotel. It was an experience created by people who genuinely understand hospitality. A very special thank you to Karan Singh Pabla, Mr. Sanjay, Ishman Singh, the housekeeping team, the room-service team, the culinary team and everyone at Taj Mahal, New Delhi who contributed to making the stay so memorable. The property is beautiful. But the people are what make Taj Mahal, Delhi truly special.

Terribly expensive coffee and pastry at the lounge!

Extremely good staff. We must mention Nischay in 'Machan' during breakfast hours and Dev in the 'House of Ming' where we had three meals. They both looked after us very well. Food in both restaurants was very good. Loved the morning live flute recital in the lobby.

On the very first evening we went to the Machan restaurant for dinner but after about 25-30 minutes of sitting at the table we left because no one attended to us. Then we went to the 'Varq' restaurant where we were attended to immediately and pleasantly.

I visited taj mahal on weekend with family. It was a great experience for me. I happened to visit when there was parsi food festival was going on. Tasting parsi food was treat to my taste buds. Food was amazing prepared by Chef Ankit and chef shalok . Talking about the service supervised by Mr. Rashminder Singh was good. We were treated so well by Ashish, Ritika, Anushka and dheeraj . The feel was very special. Over all the evening became a great experience for us.

WE went on August 15th-16th to celebrate a private ceremony. We had taken 10 rooms and our experience was great. Staff , food , service all were top class 10/10. They really took great care of us. Few staff members were really outstanding who went out of the way to make our occasion special ( VARUN SHARMA FROM MACHAN , MEGHNA FROM MACHAN , RASH MINDER SATINDER RANA FROM VARQ). Thanks for making our stay memorable. Would recommend this property to others for sure.

I booked 2 rooms for 16th Aug., 2026 for a staycation here with my family and a 4 month infant which was notified to them a week prior and on call a day before. However, no accommodations were made (we just asked for a late check out by 1 hr, and the staff haggled and agreed for late check out for 1 room). We were given a room on the floor where wedding guests were staying, and we could hear them scream and shout in the corridor, banging doors etc., till 2 am and had to make a noise complaint at 1 am. We had booked the club rooms so we had access to the club lounge, however, the food was stale and not even palatable (the only thing which was not smelling and tasted okay were the fries). Cocktail hour however had good food! We had dinner at House of Ming and I was really looking forward to some good asian, but to my disappointment, the pork ribs were not cooked well, fat was raw and it smelled awful. We had to wash our hands in the middle of the meal with soap and water to remove the smell from our hands. We then ordered crab soup which had shell in it. And then crispy tarro fish dumpling which as soon as i took a bite of, i got a mouth full of oil, and unfortunately that was the case with EACH bite. The next day buffet breakfast spread was extremely mediocre, barely any spread. I had ordered an omelette which didnt arrive till I stood up to leave after I had finished my breakfast. All of this was still manageable but what left me really disappointed and honestly seething was the fact that despite knowing I was travelling with an infant, they did not take my room service call seriously (twice) to sterilise baby bottles (which were already washed by me and put in a disposable steriliser bag and all they had to do was run it in a microwave for 3 mins). They did not send anybody at night, made us wait more than 30-40 mins., to a point that my husband and I had to leave my baby with my mother and drive home at 11 pm to sterilise the bottles and come back. The day of the check out again same thing happened, we were made to wait more than 30 mins for someone to show up and we had 0 sterilised bottles left to feed my baby in case we needed to. I had to take a very stern and a curt tone on the phone and only then was someone sent within 5 mins which is something I have never had to do before. Safe to say, never going back.

The dining went all above. The Vibe at Machan is always on point however what’s make it special was the exceptional dining experience. The staff was friendly and cooperative special thanks to Mr Tushar and Mr Ayushman for the service.

Stunning property and immaculate service

We like everything about our experience at the Taj Mahal New Delhi. As first time travelers to India, we very much appreciated the care we received from the Airport Officer Anil Kumar Rana, and our driver Yogesh. They found us, helped to change our money, and ATM usage, as well as providing a good save ride to the hotel. The Door Men and Bellboys made sure our luggage found our room. Our favorite restaurant was the Machan. The Assistant Manager Ujjawal Bajaj assisted us at each visit to find and try new, and interesting foods, from the menu. Even after we made our menu selection, he would bring us something a little extra to taste test. The host and table staff were always kind, gracious and attended to our every need, so we wish to recognize Tanu, Nishay, Nandini, Puadeep, Sanjay, and Dini. From our first visit they remembered our names, and room, and took exceptional care of our needs. At our final breakfast they learned we had a long drive to our next destination and packed for us a lunch of fruit, sandwich, and a variety of baked goods to go. Our room was on the 9th floor. The floor manager and the house keeping staff were always present attending to our needs as we came and went each day. Our room was always kept clean and tidy. From our room we had an excellent view of the Presidential Home and Parliament buildings. The Taj Mahal New Delhi, provided the best hospitality we have experienced to date in our travels. Thank you.

Taj has been recently renovated. Its location is iconic and completely unbeatable. However, now its rooms are also fresh and unmatched with comparable peers. The premium rooms specially overlook the most gorgeous views of Delhi and they have been renovated to high standards.

What it can do better is breakfast - service is very up and down especially in the executive lounge. With a child you need service to be high Taj standard every single day.
