⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/5 — A salute to the entire team! A heartfelt salute to the entire team at Hotel Ambassador, New Delhi. From the moment you enter, the warmth and hospitality are exceptional. The gentlemen at the gate, in their brown uniforms, were so welcoming and courteous. I unfortunately don’t remember everyone’s names, but every single person I interacted with was amazing. A special mention to Neeraj at the bar, who was excellent. My special thanks to Shanti, who was wonderful while taking our room-service order, and Imtiyaz, who was equally amazing with the service. What truly stands out here is that the hospitality feels genuine and personal. Everyone makes you feel welcome, and that is something you don’t find everywhere. After this experience, I honestly don’t feel like staying at any other hotel when I’m in Delhi. 10/5 for me! ❤️ A big salute to the entire team. 🙏

Great location - which is exactly why we chose it. The breakfast may not be a super lavish spread.... but they made whatever you requested, and made it very well. Absolutely fresh and delicious.

Hmmmm.... the upkeep could be better. A bit disappointed to see an empty mini bar. It's got an old world charm - could make this USP instead of an excuse for the poor upkeep.

Outstanding experience at Ambassador. Loved the old world charm of the building and the quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast was fabulous too..extensive variety everyday. Equally commendable was the guest relations ably managed by Apoorva at the helm with Ranjan, Khushi and Prakash.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ambassador during our vacation in Delhi. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, full of character and charm, but what really made our stay special was how genuinely welcoming it felt. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The staff is marvelous—warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. Mr. Nirula, the concierge, was particularly attentive and looked after our every need, beginning even before our arrival. His care and attention made everything so easy for us. We also want to especially thank Paitir Khushu, who was extraordinarily kind and welcoming every single day. She always made a point of checking in on us, gave us wonderful recommendations, made sure we had everything we needed, and even packed breakfast for us when we had an early start. Those gestures of personal care made a tremendous difference and are exactly what we will remember about our stay. The Ambassador manages to combine the beauty and elegance of a historic hotel with an atmosphere that feels warm, personal, and genuinely hospitable. Ambassador Hotel’s location near Khan Market is fantastic, but what truly stood out was the staff. From security to housekeeping to reception to the pantry team, everyone made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. One rainy evening, Pooja Gupta from security made sure we had umbrellas, and when the downpour got heavier, her team quickly arranged a cab so we wouldn’t be stranded. The Yellow Brick team was equally wonderful — Sandeep, Uma, Priya and Kushi were spectacular, always attentive and genuinely warm. It’s rare to find a hotel where every department shares the same spirit of hospitality. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Prompt service by the staff

The hotel itself is not maintained at all. The alleys are smelly, they didn’t even checked that there is no shower gel or shampoo in the room. but on the contrary the breakfast is absolutely top notch. extremely good taste and the staff Uma, Prakash and priti are doing excellent service.

A beautiful rainy morning at The Ambassador, Khan Market, with an amazing breakfast and the best masala tea. The warm, heartfelt service by Uma Shankar made it even more special he graciously refilled our chai several times. Wonderful hospitality and a truly comforting experience.

+ The hotel is located at a great location with all needed amenities around itself. Accessible by public transport if needed. + The atmosphere was nice and satisfies all what you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Beautiful lobbies, nice paintings and flowers, chandeliers, the soothing aromas in the air and an exquisite appeal made it an unforgettable experience for us. +Room size was great, even to accommodate an extra bed and still have space for our luggages from international flight. The room has a classic charm and still provides all amenities and comfort we needed with our kids. - Amenities: while we got all the needed basic amenities, it would have been nice to have somethings for kids, like play areas/ activities, swimming pool etc. If not, some kids engagement activities can bridge this gap; few days before we stayed at an another similar hotel in same location and my kids got pottery experience, learned to play santoor and also watched a puppet show. + Our stay at the Ambassador hotel was planned for 2 days. The whole experience was very smooth with great support from the professional and proficient staff. + A big thank you for the YBR TEAM (Apoorva, Uma, Priti, Chisni, Prakash and chefs Pramod and Deepak for satisfying our taste buds with the delicious food and equally great service; us and the kids were well taken care of by the team. Thank you for the warm hospitality, a very comfortable stay, and such a thoughtful gesture of *Bon Voyage* on the check out day. We will carry these beautiful memories with us and will definitely come back to visit you again same day! + Very high standards for cleanliness and hygiene were evident in every corner of the facility. Following things can be improved: - throughout the stay, every time we accessed the room, we could hear some sort of noise originating from a malfunctioning equipment (some ball bearing was not fine). Although this was not audible inside the room, it was a bit annoying every time I heard it - the graded area in front of the facility odds covered using artificial grass made of plastic. This does not look nice and also adds to the August heat Overall, the great team, great rooms and great location make it a good value for the spent money.

Loved the experience. Taj is always consistent with its product. Uma Shanker ji at Yellow Brick Road was super nice and made me taste the best paratha I've had in a while.

The Ambassador is very charming, something you don’t see in the more modern hotel I got a very affordable deal on a superior room with breakfast included The room was just Wawww, so spacious and comfortable The staff is so friendly, you really feel you are staying with a family who cares to host you. You get the family hospitality also at breakfast, the staff make sure you get what you wanted A staff member, Pooja, made for me an Indian Masala tea, old fashioned with best spices, it was easily the best I had in India during my one month travel

Good hotel, very nice. Staff are wonderful pleasant. We booked a taxi and showed us around Dehli. The taxi was new with AC. Food was good, rooms was ok !! But generally a good hotel. Will recommend if anyone wants to visit.

Beetje weinig buiten ruimte. Ontbijt was goed hoor, maar de locatie van het ontbijt was niet zo sfeervol.

I stayed for a couple of nights at the end of tour of India's Golden Triangle. Several reasons made my selection of this hotel easy - I wanted to explore Delhi a bit more, and it's located just a short walk to the Khan Market subway station. And while the restaurant has it's restaurant, other dining (and shopping) options are just another short walk away at Khan Market. And set a distance from the street, the hotel was generally very peaceful and quiet. The hotel building was elegant with an interesting mix of British colonial and art deco design elements. And if that wasn't enough to add to the atmospheric feel, there was also a vintage Hindustan Ambassador (had to be one, yes?) parked just outside the entrance. My very patient receptionist explained that it had been used previously by the British for tea dances. My double room was long and quite spacious, and had the outline of what was previously a fireplace (wow!). The reservation came with daily breakfast and I certainly enjoyed the variety of Indian and continental options at the rather colourfully decorated Yellow Brick Road restaurant.

Extremely cozy and nice hotel, warm staff and easy accessibility to the metro and to Khan Market as well! Checkin was super smooth and room allocated was exactly as promised, the balcony was a nice add on considering the weather was pleasant too Happy hours in the evening 6:30 to 8 Pm at the Bar (Insomnia), the service could have been faster but drinks were decent Food at Yellow Brick Road was phenomenal, lots of variety and the suggested items were top notch, Breakfast the next morning was cherry on the cake, huge spread and amazing taste

We’ve had a great stay at The Ambassador. Especially the breakfast consisting of western and Indian cuisine was nice. The waiter team of Uma, Priti, Rajani and Devchef provided anything we asked for. This hotel is a great base if you want to explore Dehli!

I visit this hotel for the restaurant yellow brick road. I have been going since the time I was a very young boy, and still prefer to go there because it is a restaurant with a heritage for fine dining that it has built over a long time. The quality of the food and the service is excellent; staff training is great, most importantly, it offers a value for money which I am yet to see other 5 stars offer at least in terms of its food. Atmosphere is old school and laid back; the kind of stuff you enjoy with a nice slow meal dragged over 2 hours while conversing with family; or just sitting and eating your food.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Delhi in June. The location was just great. The staff was super friendly and the property is well maintained heritage property. The breakfast spread was wide and tasted great. WiFi worked well. The restaurant yellow brick had a great choice and well presented. The price was decent for that category of hotel. We will surely stay again next trip to Delhi.

Ambassador hotel is at an amazing location located right next to Khan market. Perfect for shopping and experiencing a Greener part of Delhi. It's a short distance from Lodi gardens, the national museum, and most of Delhi's prominent tourist spots. Interestingly, there is enough art and history inside the hotel itself because it's a legacy building which used to be occupied by British soldiers before Independence. The rooms still maintain the old world job but are equipped with modern amenities including AC and everything else you could want from a five-star hotel. Highlight of the hotel is the great buffet and food at the yellow brick road. In particular Uma ji ki chai is the perfect! Way to start your morning. Special credits to Priti, Apoorva, Rajni and Animesh (reception) for showing me great hospitality and care. I'll definitely come back to ambassador on my next trip to Delhi.
