Great location and a great beach. Pool is also great.
The property sits right on a beautiful stretch of beach, soft sand, clear turquoise water, and plenty of space to unwind whether you’re sunbathing, swimming, or just taking in the view. Lekelle (mgr) and her staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming, creating a laid‑back atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The rooms are spacious, clean, and perfect for families or groups, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool area was not overcrowded. And the on‑site dining options were average. Island Seas is a great choice for anyone looking to utilize the spacious condo style room layout.
Wonderful place to stay.Lekelle and her staff were great. . Short drive to the airport . Can’t wait to go back.
Location was nice. The service was kind of bad but it was ok. The rooms are pretty big but you have to buy your own food.
I will start with the positive, that the view and the beach access was extremely nice. However, we had extreme downsides. Their keycards were not working the full week we were there. We were told they would be working two days after we arrived and received drink vouchers, but after that it just went on without key cards the rest of the week. Poor security had to literally let us in our room every single time, which got tiresome. Halfway through our stay, we found out by one of the staff that we were supposed to have wristbands and receive a 10% discount on all food and drinks. Mind you, we had already spent almost $300 at that point on food and drinks and had not been receiving any discount. We asked MULTIPLE times for compensation for this or any type of answer and we got blown off MULTIPLE times and never received any compensation or answer for this mistake. Then to top it all off, in the evening, I had gotten out of the shower and heard a very faint knock at the door. I didn’t have any time to even get to the door, i just had enough time to hold a towel over my body before a housekeeper let herself in the room and saw me standing there and then left. I went to the front desk right after and they said they would find out why that happened and apologized, but again, I never heard anything back on the reasoning for that lady entering our room during evening hours. The wifi was extremely poor. The bath towels were hardly changed out and I asked multiple times for washcloths and received 3 for the entirety of our trip. They told us multiple times they didn’t have any. The majority of the staff was very kind and security was kind, however, these were very poor downsides that made our trip difficult to enjoy.
Food was good so was pool amd beach
very fun, the pool was amazing, the beach sand was so soft and the water was so clear. Best Pina Colada I’ve ever tasted !
The Staff was pleasant and courteous. The facility was clean.... The only issue I had was with the WiFi, it was very disappointing to have to keep entering a code or having to visit the office for a new code.
We filled one out on May 17th for our stay at Island Seas from April 14th to April 28th, detailing how well we enjoyed our vacation!
Great Beach, very quiet. You could walk to the local $2 Bar Overall I didn't let the following ruin my stay. I enjoyed the property despite it all. The resort has so much potential. However, I had to beg for a broom (no broom but had a dustpan.) There was a hair in the bathtub and I just arrived. (Scary probably didn't clean) There was not a spatula, I flipped eggs with a spoon. No placemats for the dining room GLASS table. No paper towel and when I asked for paper towel and placemats, her first response was I will try and find some but in the next breath said we don't have any without looking. I had to remind her she said she would try. (This person was less than courteous. Amazingly they found some and delivered Brown paper towel roll (like you dry your hands with at a public restroom.) and placemats. On a good note, housekeeping was very good about knocking on our door or calling daily about towels. Pool had some weird stuff floating in a specific spot (I just didn't go near it. The swim up bar is not attended to. During Happy hour if a drink is$5 it is really $6.25 by the time they tax and put tip on it (automatic tip) Just things to know. Spacious 2-bedroom, balcony with nice view, 3rd floor no elevator. Tried to eat at the restaurant once, only 1 other table of people in the restaurant. Took 10 minutes to greet us, we ordered, 10 minutes later I went looking for our drinks (had to open kitchen door to get waitress attention, I asked about our drinks because we were thirsty) response was oh I thought you wanted them with dinner. Then waited another 15 no dinner (mind you that is now 25 minutes from when we ordered. We had enough and left, went back to room and had a salad. Walk the beach to the left and there is a bar/grill where we had great lobster for $30. Just a few things to know about the Bahamas. Groceries are expensive. I paid $7.50 for Romaine lettuce; Cucumber was $2.79 a pound. Creamer was $8.49 (Coffee Mate) 24 pack of bottled water $9.99 just a few examples. Grocery store Solomons close to resort. We rented a car KSR --great people picked us up with rental at the airport when we arrived and when we returned, they drove us to the airport. (about $400 for the week) Just know that you drive on the wrong side of the Road as we are not used to. Funny that was the only thing I didn't research on my first time to the Bahamas. But all in all, knowing what I know, I would still return to this resort with very low expectations from staff. I had a wonderful vacation! Like I said the property, location has so much potential. I met a lot of nice people (all women from different states that have been there many times.
Not well maintained or managed. On site grocery, shuttle, and swim up bar no longer exist. Hot tub was broken. No ice maker in refrigerator or on the property. Full kitchen equipped with a beat up 7” fry pan and 2 small sauce pans and no cooking sheets for the oven. No spatulas so couldn’t even use the frying pan for eggs. Bed was hard as a rock. TVs very old and fuzzy and no WiFi that support a fire stick for movies. Location was wonderful and staff was friendly. Beach area and pool was clean were the best things
The room was a little outdated but it had plenty of space! Had a beautiful private beach and a beautiful pool with a swim up bar. Lulu was amazing and she took great care of us! She had amazing customer service! The bar and Restaurant are open till 8 and Lulu was doing an amazing job at running both!
Comfortable, quiet, lovely beach and area, but dated. It's a small resort, with basic amenities, nothing fancy
Positives: - Beach access was GREAT - quiet location if want to read a book and lay by the pool - food and drinks were good and reasonably priced - staff was friendly Negatives: - WIFi connectivity is terrible (either intermittent or nonexistent) - Activities were limited and should have been more since there’s nothing close to the resort - Rooms were dated, needs a total renovation (kitchen, bathroom, beds, furniture) - Towel service was slow. Rooms were cleaned early but towels arrived after 3 most days - No bellhop or service to assist with luggage which is a problem since there are 3 floors with no elevators
Pool and hot tub area in poor condition. Hot tub wasn’t heated pool was cold no one could swim. Umbrella’s all torn and broken. They allowed local kids groups to stay at resort. They were extremely noisy and running around everywhere.
The location was perfect and private. But the facilities felt not clean and outdoor equipment, umbrellas, lounges, were broken
staff was very nice and helpful. our unit looked ready for refurbishment. phone did not work, one bathroom tub looked terrible, our bathroom faucet broke mid-week, microwave handle was broken, refrigerator door opened the wrong way restricting access. repairs were made promptly and staff was pleasant and helpful. living room a/c sent a cleaner smell out.
The room is dirty. Mold and hard water stains Bathtub broken on the bottom other walls cracked Short black hair prevalent in both bath rooms. Furniture is old not very comfortable. A beer is 8.75 today no beach towels The pool is very 🥶 cold. Would not recommend Food not very good. Sad
This place is extremely dated. Our room had black mold on the lamp, the AC struggled to keep up and the unit was rusty. The restaurant is in dire need of a new ventilation system. Only 3 umbrellas at the beach. I feel sorry for the workers. They are nice but are fighting a losing battle with the resort ownership in limbo. It needs a 25 million revamp.
Nice beach et resort really clean.. appartement was spacieux et Nice view on the beach.. the pool was a bite cool but nice
Pool umbrellas leave a lot to be desired. Employees are awesome and the food was very good. Blueberry muffins were great Difficult to get umbrellas on the beach. Beach was great better with an umbrella. Internet was sketchy at best. Best access was inthe office
Safe
We really enjoyed our stay with the three kids. Beaches were clean the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had to leave a day early because of the hurricane approaching. Before we left they said they would refund us the night which we weren’t even expecting. We will definitely be back to visit.
Beach View
We love this little resort. We're in our 80's, so the simplicity is perfect for us. Our unit had been recently renovated with new paint, decor, linens, cookware. It was lovely. Only a quick walk to the clear blue-green water. Easy to get in and out of the surf, with easy snorkeling. The one restaurant has very good food.
I stayed at Island Seas for an entire week and I can say that it will definitely not be my last. The staff was very friendly. It was absolutely a safe haven. All the great reviews about this place was accurate. The property is amazing. I would positively recommend Island Seas Resort for your stay in Grand Bahama!!!
The property was clean, staff was accommodating. most amenities were provided but the Wi-Fi connection was poor. The connection only worked in the lobby.
So where do I begin this definitely isn’t a resort there is so much so I’ll just start by saying we just stayed 7 days me my husband and my two teenagers… so WiFi is horrible it comes and goes the only way we got to make phones back home bc we have Verizon and my husband has unlimited on his phone… u have these codes u have to enter every day to try and get on the WiFi but maybe time it doesn’t wrk… so here’s a list of the bad things we didn’t like and will not be back *Communication -with front desk and the house keeping is awful…and side note they will come into ur room even when ur not in there to clean or change the trash we didn’t like that so u can ask for a so not disturb sigh for ur door. *rooms- they need up grading so so badly the pics u see online is not what u get in real life i promise. *the outside bar coco nuts - to pricy on there drinks *restaurant- it’s also pricey *the cafe in the lobby -they don’t have alot to chose from at all and also pricy *towels- they are so picky how many towels u ask for it’s ridiculous bc it was dead when we was there and they still would only give us four towels and for washcloths at one time *taxi driver or renting a car- well we done a taxi I was torn on what to do if u don’t plan to explore a lot or go out to eat at every meal then do a taxi but if u decide to go a lot then rent a car depending where u go to rent one at some are cheaper than others but a taxi ride can cost u a lot as well depending how many and how far u go I have info of a really good taxi driver his van was roomy and always good and clean txt me if u need his info I don’t care to share it with u…865-414-5143 *grocery shopping- solmens it’s big but be ready to spend some money on groceries we just got the basics and u also limited in the room what u have to cook with so keep that in mind *and they do have karaoke night and game night and movie night we was the only family that went but the guy he does it all he’s super nice guy and gave us all Bahamas coffee mugs for winning game night *and the excursions like swimming with pigs and etc some say it was worth it some say it wasn’t so that’s whatever u decide to do the snorkeling at Paradise Cove was really neat u get to see a lot of things in the water and it’s all waist deep all the way out . And I took my own salt and pepper and spices to cook with and my dish washing liquid for dishes bc they only give u one bottle and don’t go far and I took my own laundry pods to wash our clothes with only one washer works so does the dryer it cost two dollars to wash two dollars to dry just put the pods in your checked bag if u take one … and I took extra pods for the dish washer bit ours didn’t wrk and all they did was come look at it and didn’t replace it and it was nasty inside so I washed the dishes all week and they don’t have any grills on property which sucks .. and u don’t even have a baking pan to use for the oven it sucks But in all the negative we made the best of it and since it was dead all week only like two more couples there which were all complaining as well we still made the best of it and had peace and quiet and enjoyed it Oh fyi take bug spray or small thing of baby oil for mosquitoes bites after dark they will eat u up if u are outside the taxi driver told us to use the baby oil but I didn’t go buy any . The beach is great u can walk right side or left we did both and ate two diff places on the beach it was good. 😊 I hope this helps anyone that is going
Great
- [ ] No activities for kids - [ ] DVD player broken-asked for 1, was told there are no more on resort - [ ] No supplies given-coffee, filters, seasoning - [ ] A HUGE RAT in room - [ ] POOR WIFI ON RESORT-didn’t work in rooms-had to sit in welcome center - [ ] Old and not well kept resort. Swim up bar in repair, restaurant was closed - [ ] Bathroom in poor shape-tub knob rotted off - [ ] Doorknob missing in bathroom - Patio door handle broken - [ ] Wouldn’t provide room service for supplies - [ ] Coffee shop opens at 9:30am with very limited products that were there for days. - [ ] Can’t open balcony door-stuck closed
No internet in rooms have go bar outside. Beds- body sinks into middle even using extra pillows. Rent a car if staying. THOugh lots of Sargassum on beach, water was clean & not crowded. Hotel staff try to keep it clean and lifeguard on duty(which is great if you snorkeling) - only swim in dark areas in water (lots iof grass, bleached coral, fishes, and sea urchin)
Island Seas which at one time was a wonderful resort has become a vacation nightmare. Units decaying, multiple room issues with resort workers that don’t care. Beach looks seaweed heaven and not welcoming. Pools were cloudy and obvious as to why nobody was using them. Workers at the resort were provided better units than they set for a paying guest. Grand Bahaha island is a great place to visit just never staying again at Island Seas!
Our family chose Island Seas Resort to gather to celebrate the past life of a loved one and Yvette, Lulu, Lexie and the rest made sure we were taken care of. Through this sad time, we found solace in knowing that they weren’t just about the money, they cared and for that we’re grateful. Thanks always Island Seas resort.
We had a nice time but the staff at the front desk when we arrived did not share any important information with us-towels, restaurants, transportation, etc. - We had to figure everything out on our own and sometimes it was just too late. She seemed to lack any motivation. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning crew was great. Always attentive when we needed anything. The price of food and drinks was ridiculous and the fact that there is no shuttle to the grocery store and that the convenience store was closed was also very disappointing. I feel like we as tourists are being taken advantage of. I had to pay $56 US plus tip to go to the grocery store with Lewis (taxi). He insisted on waiting and said that was the only way. I refused to use him again and made sure everyone we met was aware of the outrageous prices of transportation. It's quite a shame as the beach here is lovely. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be returning.
Let’s just say we will NOT be going back there. First, there was no WIFI during our entire stay. There was an apologetic notice but the issue was never resolved during our stay. Due to internet issues, the restaurant was very limited in services they could offer. Basically, served only 2 items on their menu. The place looks run down and not well maintained. They were under staffed-bartender was working the kitchen in the restaurant also. This made service very slow. Granted we were on the ground floor but to see cockroaches in the closets and bathrooms was absolute unacceptable. The television in the rooms were faulty-so static we could not see what was happening while trying to watch Jurassic World. The whole ‘luxury vacation vibe’ was dead. There were just a handful of vacationers and their so called evening activities was a laughing stock. Shared our concerns with management and we are still yet to be compensated. Our time and opportunity to create a family memory is lost but hopefully we can get some kind of financial compensation for all expense we incurred trying to make this a memorable family vacation.
The resort is an older one and shows some wear n tear. The location is great on a nice small beach, nice size pool and clean grounds. The island itself is still in rebuild mode after the 2019 hurricane, taking their time. I would recommend this place or a nice get away from it all place.
Very good
Extremely helpful and pleasant staff, clean, large rooms with full kitchen and balcony with ocean view. Some fun activities onsite. The most beautiful beach on the island with towels, chairs and umbrellas provided with a restaurant, bar and pool nearby. Not the fanciest accommodations but will suffice for an island vacation. Not a highly commercialized area
Don’t go the service was awful the rooms were awful. The worst experience. They did not try to accommodate us at all everything was closed most of the time.
We loved the spacious rooms and the awesome view.
Easy access
The property itself is great! Right on the a private beach, beautiful pool, very nice. The staff was not very attentive, or friendly. The bar drinks were weak, small and pricey. The rooms were great, very spacious, could use some updating, but overall were nice. Housekeeping checked in daily for trash and fresh towels. I would recommend this hotel, however, do not expect a resort. It's a beautiful location, but not much to do other than beach and pool. We rented a car and used it every day to do other activities or go to restaurants or shopping.
Everything from getting off the plane in Freeport to the day we left was disastrous! The resort itself wasn't clean, had 80s-90s decor, no guest service attendants, the service ware and appliances were rusted and dirty before use, A lot of guests and a few staff members were rude to me, my daughter, and our service dog, and the food at the resort wasn't good. The laundry room was also out of order, and we couldn't get a refund for the money we spent.
We had to pay an extra $200 in cash out of pocket upon arrival, just get a room. No Cleaning services, they only emptied our garbage once in the 7days that we were there. Our rooms were not cleaned at all and clean towels were only available upon request with at least 48hour wait! WiFi was not working at all in all the areas of the whole resort, terrible service!
Beautiful property. It seems to be having some issues right now, but the staff was great and the property again, is beautiful! We were told the coffee shop was "closed until further notice, and the planned/scheduled activities were nonexistent. We still enjoyed our stay. The condo was huge and a great value to be right on the beach.
Beautiful hotel, located right on the beach. My first time in the Bahamas and was made feel more than welcome by every member of staff.rooms very spacious and clean, and surrounding areas are well maintained. Looking to return next year with more family ,highly recommend.
This is more like a motel with resort in the name. At one point years ago I am sure this property was beautiful. Upon arrival our room was not ready until after 4. Normally I understand that because check in is at 4. The place was a ghost town. It was us and another guest that was there the entire 3 nights. Why not be prepared and have the room la ready. Our room, the AC didn’t work properly, the sliding door did not close properly and was never on the track, our view was of a pile of trash. We reserved a queen and it was a full. They said they had no 2 bed room available. Large property with no guests-I am sure they had something. The housekeeper came and took our towels said she would be back with clean ones, came back and had to go find someone to get us towels. Hottub water was so low, the water was past the jets. Beach chairs were broken, garbage on the beach-like lots of broken glass. The house keeper came into our room the next day, used the toilet (lid was up we had no guys on the trip) and didn’t do anything else. The front door didn’t fully lock. When I talked to staff their attitude was what do you want me to do. I went on vacation to relax not track down towers, maintenance and have to pay to go use a normal resort’s accommodations. This was an experience trip. I am disappointed and will not return. I have staff and service a few extra stars based on the bartender at the outside bar super sweet and friendly and gave us great recommendations.
This resort is dated however beautiful walking beach (at low tide or the adventurous at high tide). Grounds are well maintained. Plenty of beautiful plants and flowers. Rooms are dated however sufficient. Did not supply tea or coffee in room either take some or they have a coffee shop Java in lobby. Beautiful View of white sand beach and aqua Caribbean Sea!! Somewhat friendly staff. They probably need a little guidance on hospitality. With that said All of our needs were met. They can be helpful if you are friendly to them. It has to be tough to work while other people are on vacation!! Can walk to Junkanoo to the left on beach or go right to eat at Michele's good food, good prices and nice people. Go alittle further to the $2 Dollar Bar for some local fun!! Felt Safe and all the locals are very helpful....even if you don't need it. We rented a scooter...you should rent a car!! Check out the local parks..have lobby call first for hours and days open. Garden of the Groves, Lucayan National Park (Gold Rock Beach - very long gorgeous beach), Bishops Bar Beach Club (for lunch), Coral Vita (restoration of Coral), Bahamian Brewery, Paradise Cove (to snorkel Deadmans Reef). Support the local history and nature to help them keep it beautiful!!
The room
The staff is very friendly. The beach was clean and semi secluded. The restaurant and outdoor bar has good food and drinks. The resort is antiquated and in need of upgrades.
I highly recommend! I will definitely be back
Property was well maintained and staff was friendly. Interior accommodations could use updating but beautiful beach makes up for it. Great for someone who wants fun in the sun and no extra frills.
Nice beach but no umbrellas so bring your own. Place is clean but the sand will follow you back to your room. Place needs a lot of TLC. jacuzzi not working. Pool was cold. Only 1 washing machine works. Bring your own quarters. Some rooms were noisy bring ear plugs if your a light sleeper. Cleaning service only changes trash and towels sometimes. Food was ok a little pricey. Drinks are best during happy hour. After all that it's are Second time here but we don't expect much of the place. If your looking for more service and activities , look elsewhere. We like to stay here but a rental car is a must , we explore the island. Oh by the way check in is at 4pm or bohemian time.
Very professional. Property very clean.
While the Island Seas Resort is dated in some areas and could use upgrades and some attention, the location is on a lovely beach and the staff (and locals) are friendly and accommodating. Our week-long RCI exchange vacation was a lovely week by the water and exploring the island of Grand Bahama, with Island Seas Resort as a good home base. Having a rental care made all the difference, since very little is available at the resort and the units are not stocked with some basics (such as a sponge for dishes, paper towels, coffee filters, salt & pepper, etc.). I planned accordingly and brought many staples with me, saving money for other things to enjoy on the island. We had to change units due to maintenance issues in our first assigned unit, and the staff was able to move us the next day. The main areas of the resort (pool, restaurants, grounds) are well maintained and the staff was always friendly and helpful in any way they could be.
.
If your looking for just sitting around on the beach Great. this is a quite Island with not much to do.
This is our second stay and we stay an extended time we are always pleased
The property's views, pool and proximity to the beach are FANTASTIC .... BUT The upkeep on the units themselves is almost in shambles. The restaurant food was good, but operation hours were slim and not posted clearly. No sense of urgency
The property has a beautiful view of the ocean. Very friendly staff. But disappointed about the checkin process. Checkin is at 4pm. And they definitely mean not before 4. Waited since 1pm and didn't get our room til 530pm. Nothing within walking distance of the property. Nice pool.
The experience overall was great. The staff was friendly and the property was inviting. My only thing was a concern was the WiFi was not operational. Overall, if having to return to Freeport I will stay at Island Seas again
This place was awful! Had a rat in the room the second night. Moved to different room. Floor was filthy. Asked them to mop it. Ended up getting a mop and bucket from a maintenance person the next day and mopped it myself. Had to ask for clean towels. Never saw any cleaning people at all. Sad because i have stayed there many times but wont stay there again
I would recommend island seas
I had a great and relaxing stay at Island Seas. I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and accommdating. The resort is little dated but rooms were clean and grounds have been maintained well on an otherwise hard hurricane hit island. If you are looking for a good sunshine and quiet beach getaway, this is your place. The island has not come back yet with night life and touristy life yet like most islands. It is not extragent resort at all but pretty comfy home away from home. I will be back and next time for a longer stay!
RCI should NEVER book this resort. The rooms are extremely outdated and dirty. A friend lifted us a stay. When we entered the room after waiting 3 hours for it to br cleaned, the first thing noticed was how horrible the furniture looked. Then we saw what was either a toenail or fingernail on the floor. We pulled back the bed covers to find 2 dead bugs. There's more, just don't allow RCI to book you for this resort. We left immediately.
Very dated and fairly rundown. Units are decorated with thrift store furniture. Kitchens utensils are cheap. (No hot pad holder) The layout and beach are great. Service was extremely slow in restaurant.
DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE, unfriendly employees, it feels like nobody gives a $hit outdated, it seems like people are working on the island and staying in this hotel, so a lot of man smoking everywhere, terrible sight, I would NEVER come here again
Place was roomy, and pretty clean. But, there was not regular linen service(change of sheets or bed making/turning). Beach sand was fluffy and amazing. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They do need to update the shuffleboard. Pucks were broke and mismatched. And the poles were broke from wear and tear. But, we made it work.😃 Ping pong table and equipment were excellent (better than was shown on website). We had a great time, and recommend for a relaxing vacation.👍
Loved the private beach. Clean resort, rooms needing a little updating
Excellent service and location. The food was great along with the activities. I would definitely call here again.
Restaurant was closed for dinner. Food served at the bar in plastic trays. At breakfast we were unable to pay by card as the WiFi wasn’t working. WiFi in the rooms non existent. Overall not recommended.
Very good value. Comfortable, spatious, womderful oool and beach. Recommend
Resort was very well kept, both ground and rooms, Housekeeps called every day to see if we need anything. Pool was very cold the entire week. (Too cold for most all guest to use.) On site restaurant food was good. The beach was very nice, racked very day.
The staff is very friendly and tries to do what they can to make your stay the best that it can be. The ground maintenance was excellent, but the units need updating and not all the units have working appliances. The staff did fix our issues by the 2nd day. The beach access is why we would come back, but if you are looking for lots of activities, this resort is not the one for you.
Rooms needs upkeep maintenance minor things visible to the eyes need to he fixed.
Everyone we met at Island Seas Resort were very very kind, knowledgeable and professional. The front desk staff was amazing at answering any questions we had. Jermaine was our wonderful bartender. The resort grounds are maintained beautifully. Although it was a little bit on the rainy side for the majority of our stay, we still had the best time and will definitely be recommending Island Seas in the future. Thank you to all that took care of us while we were here visiting your beautiful island ❤️
It was quite and clean. The property was well taken care of and most of the areas were safe (with the exception of the bridge near the hot tub that got super wet and slick and I fell..oww.) they let us use their kayaks and there was a lifeguard on duty throughout the day. The drinks were well made and the other people I met there were super kind. It's *kind of* remote and not a lot nearby so we needed to use a taxi to go pretty much anywhere (which is fine because our driver Val was amazing) I would definitely return.
Beautiful location on ocean. Walking beach is a plus. Units in DIRE NEED of RENOVATION -especially bathrooms.
The resort is conveniently located, if you have a rental car. Easy to get to a supermarket, fishmarket, churches and secluded beaches.
Everyone working at this property was wonderful! Hot tub and pool were clean and nice. Room was not clean, dusty, and smelled musty. A few locals food shacks to walk to - Conch Salad and Two Dollar bar were fun :)
Could not get a beach front view because this was for owners. But it was still a relaxing time
Location
The villa did not have wash rags nor enough towels. Not even rugs on the cold tile floor and not even a bath rug to put in front of the shower. The floor was dirty and roach crawling around. I’m sure there probably was better rooms but the one we had wasn’t nice.
The staff is absolutely amazing… the rooms are in need of updating and one of the showers was not even usable, as it had so much mold build up and cracks. That would be my only complaint.
Relaxe
it was nice and cozy
The beach was fabulous. Neighboring walk along the ocean front was a wonderful plus. Staff was great! Easy taxi rides to shopping and other restaurant options. Plenty of activities on site.
place was empty. staff poor service, people disinterested. condos with very minimal supplies. if you are staying just 1 week, not worth it as you have to buy everything, ie dishwasher soap, salt pepper, etc. do housecleaning service. at best they give you 1 clean towel every other day. cockroachs in our room. restaurant was good. beach is nice. pool is nice. lots of chairs. beach towels provided but we needed to ask when we noticed others had some. would not go back
DO NOT STAY HERE. HOT TUB WAS COLD, RESTAURANT HAS LIMITED HOURS, ONLY OPEN FOR DINNER 2 NIGHTS WE WERE HERE. COFFEE SHOP HAS VERY LIMITED HOURS. MARINA AND THAT SIDE OF RESORT WAS LOCKED AND CLOSED, COULD NOT USE. IF LOOKING TO STAY ON THIS ISLAND TRY TAINO BEACH
I enjoyed my visit to the Resort. It was simply beautiful.
Liked the ocean view
Room was fantastic.Staff was friendly, patient, and helpful.Food was excellent and reasonably priced. And the drinks were awesome. The "Miami Vice" was particularly good,I'll bet we ordered more than 50 of them during our week there.
Great place to stay! Should have a higher rating for what you get it is a great value
Towels were not ready in the room. Long time to wait for beach towels and shower towels. Pool was freezing, not able to enjoy with family.
My stay was horrible i decided to carry my family there for christmas. I went after checkin time and had to wait an jour for the room to be cleaned, only to get in the room and the tub was filled with hair the sink had dead bugs there were no bath towels available until the third day of our stay and also we had to lift our own luggages upstairs to check in and check out as no bellman was available assist. The lady At the front desk Mary attitude was not very pleasant with locals and tourist. I do not recommend at all
It was quiet, we weren't bothered by a ton of vendors. The facilites were clean, the condo was great for our group of 4. Would come back.
Walls in the shower painted with water paint. No internet in the resort and room.
