The check in was unwelcoming and not as expected for a boutique hotel. Within minutes of being in the room the 1st cockroach appeared. The front desk was unimpressed. Otherwise lovely looking hotel…

We just had a lovely short but sweet stay here. Our suite was so nice and light and immaculate. Staff are very friendly and in particular the gentleman serving breakfast was awesome! The location is a very short walk to 5th avenue shopping and dining and a short walk to the beach. They also provide a shuttle service to the beach. We absolutely will stay here again. The whole experience was excellent.

Well situated near 5th avenue and Tin City. Warm welcome with champagne on arrival by friendly young man on front desk. Rooms are nicely presented. Pool is small but perfectly formed. Light breakfast was nice and staff that served ultra friendly.

The cottage is amazing! I could live in that cottage. So wonderful!! I’m coming back to rent out the cottage.

I have not left a negative review of a hotel before, but our experience at the Capri Inn was extremely disappointing, especially given the price point and “boutique hotel” branding. We stayed one night and checked out via the hotel’s text system. Not only did I not receive a bill as promised, I had to follow up myself the next day after emailing to complain. A properly run hotel would have a final bill issued the day of checkout without requiring the guest to chase it down. We also accidentally left my husband’s jacket hanging in the closet. What followed was a frustrating and poorly managed experience that exposed major gaps in their operations. When we realized it was missing the evening we checked out, I called the front desk. The agent could not locate it and told me housekeeping does not notify the front desk or management when items are found—they are simply placed in lost and found. He checked and did not see it. No one offered to escalate the issue or have a manager contact me, as there was not a supervisor on floor that evening. A hotel not having a manager on site the Sunday evening of Easter weekend is poor planning. I was told there would not be a supervisor or manager available until noon on Monday, also poor planning. As a result, I spent the evening believing the jacket had been stolen. Only after I tracked down a supervisor’s email and contacted both the supervisor and General Manager, McKenzie Van Essen, did I receive a response the next morning stating the jacket had been found in lost and found. This directly contradicted what I had been told the night before. The explanation of their policy was equally concerning. I was first told guests are not notified when items are found. Then I was told that “high-value” items might be reported—an unclear and subjective standard that raises more questions than it answers. I was required to pay $35 to have the jacket shipped back to me, despite the hotel’s mishandling of the situation and lack of communication. I was also told by the supervisor that a manager (Matthew) would be calling me and that a $50 credit would be issued to my card for the experience. Neither of those things happened. To date, I have not received a call, nor has the credit been applied. Beyond the lost item issue, the room itself had multiple maintenance problems and general signs of wear and lack of upkeep Other frustrations included unclear parking instructions (we ended up squeezed into a tight spot against a bush) and a “view” from the balcony that overlooked another building and the parking lot—not what is suggested in the hotel’s marketing. In total, we paid over $560 for the room plus additional shipping cost for the jacket, only to receive inconsistent service, no follow-through, and a complete lack of accountability. Between having to chase down my bill, spending an evening thinking a personal item had been stolen, and receiving no follow-through from management, this experience fell far below expectations. This is not the level of service one expects from a boutique hotel.

We made a last minute reservation for the Capri Inn. It was a stellar experience from the moment we stepped into the inn to when we left for the airport. The welcome champagne was appreciated after a long drive from Orlando. We came to Naples to see our son play in a lacrosse game and celebrated our Anniversary. They gave us a nice bottle of wine to celebrate. The extra amenities were apart of the resort fee. We rode bikes, had a shuttle take us to the beach and provide chairs, towels & an umbrella. The continental breakfast was pleasant. The staff were friendly, helpful and very social. Lastly, the location was fantastic. We could walk to the shops & restaurants on 5th Ave. Overall a wonderful stay. We would definitely return.

The king suite was fantastic. Larger than expected, incredibly comfortable, with 2 bathrooms. The building is lovely, in an upscale neighborhood, and within walking distance of some commercial.

They are short on staff leading to some service issues. The resort fee is unnecessary, including things like bottled water and self-parking, which should be part of what is offered by any hotel.

I loved everything about the Capri Inn. The location is perfect, quiet, landscaping beautiful, close to everything. The day pass for a gym about a mile away was amazing. Muffins in the AM - perfect! I loved having a Keurig in the room, and coffee downstairs in the AM.

Superbe séjour!! Emplacement idéal avec possibilité de se déplacer en shuttle (proximité à pied aussi des commerces). Hôtel très joliment décoré, personnel adorable avec de bons conseils pour les restaurants et chambre très spacieuse. Coin piscine agréable et lobby très chaleureux. Un très grand merci à Amaya pour la soirée piano dont notre fille continue de parler :)

Contact limite impoli de la part d’un chauffeur de shuttle (les autres très sympathiques), très peu serviable (lorsqu’il n’avait pas assez de serviettes de plage à nous d’aller en demander à la réception alors qu’il attendait tranquillement à côté); nous fait faire des allers retours inutiles sous prétexte de déposer d’autres clients…bref dommage car le reste de l’équipe est super. À noter si vous avez des enfants, pas de siège auto pour le shuttle mais il suffit de déplacer le vôtre depuis votre voiture!

Spent an evening in Naples and stayed at The Capri Inn which is part of the Opal Collection of hotels. It's a lovely, intimate hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are large and well appointed. Best of all, the shops on 5th Ave S and Tin City are all within walking distance. I highly recommend the Capri Inn if you're going to stay in Naples.

Room was good. Umbrella, iron, fan, a lot of towels, bathtub, shower cabin. Fridge, microwave and coffeemashine in the room. Shuttle to the beach and back anytime you needed. Drivers are awesome. The personnel is great. Especially Brad. The room extension was offered for a very reasonable price, but we didn't need it. Complimentary extended our room for 1 more hour. Location is perfect - close to the beaches and to the 5-th Ave, where all the restaurants are.

I wouldn't say we didn't like it, we tolerated it :) A couple of ancient stains on the towels, that obviously can't be washed off, but we didn't report it, because it was not really important for our vacation. We had a plenty of towels offered. Breakfast was just okay. Mostly pre-cooked that required warming, just a few grab and go things, the main course you need to order. Scrambled eggs seemed to be cooked from egg's powder, not real eggs.

The breakfast didn’t suit such a lovely hotel. It was really mediocre. Dumbed down and a lost opportunity. Room air conditioning was noisy I think it needed maintenance.

Super leuk en verassend hotel in een super leuke buurt! Gezellig ingericht en dicht bij het centrum. De gastvrouw bij het ontbijt en koffie was absoluut geweldig!

Er was de hele nacht een tikkend geluid in de airco wat we niet konden stoppen. Hierdoor hebben we de hele nacht wakker gelegen. Toen we dit bij het uitchecken aangaven was de receptioniste totaal niet geïnteresseerd in het ongemak.

Ein sehr schönes, zentral gelegenes Hotel in Naples. Der Empfang war ausgesprochen freundlich, die Zimmer modern ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Für so ein schönes Hotel wäre ein Frühstück echt eine wunderbare Sache. Das angebotene Snack am Morgen kann man sicher nicht als Frühstück bewerten.

Hotel was located in a great place close to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. A very nice boutique hotel. I highly recommend it.

The staff was extremely attentive and communicative. The rooms had very luxurious beds, comfy couch, and nice quality towels and robes. Everything was also very clean and inviting.

Nothing that would prevent me from staying again, but the air conditioning was very loud, the room wasn’t completely blacked out, and the doors that separate the living area and the bedroom are glass, french doors, which were lovely but provided no privacy.

Capri Inn was clean and close to the famous 5th Ave- within walking distance, which was very convenient. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. They also provided a shuttle if needed which was a good bonus. The one thing I didn’t like was breakfast- the coffee was sour and not drinkable, and the selection of food was not the best: some muffin, bagels, hard boiled eggs, pre-packaged egg sandwich and some yogurt and fruit (including bananas which had black dots already). In a place like this I would include a better breakfast selection, especially that we were charged a $39 resort fee which was supposed to cover breakfast. Also, what was kind of weird was that the hotel staff entered our room (we stayed just 1 night) when we were not there and left two little boxes of chocolate. This was a nice touch but in the same time we did not feel comfortable that someone got into our room while we were not there. Overall, the place was a very good choice in a prime location but I would improve a few things to make it even better.

My husband and I have been patrons for several years, but had not visited since the Opal Collection acquired and updated the hotel. We enjoyed the updates. The return of light breakfast fare and the addition of the beach shuttle will keep us coming back. The staff was professional and pleasant. The hotel was spotless. The room size is good. The bathroom is spacious, and the linens and towels are of good quality. The breakfast items include coffee, muffins, bagels, toast, some egg sandwiches, oatmeal and pastries. This was perfectly fine for me, but for those who have food allergies or are expecting a gormet breakfast, just keep your expectations in check. It's a short walk to Fifth Ave.

The location was outstanding and the room had everything (and more) that we needed, along with being very big! The beach shuttle service was an unexpected convenience, with all towels, umbrellas and chairs provided by the staff. The majority of the staff went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met. There was also a live pianist one of the evenings, which was a lovely touch!

Great experience

The original accommodations we booked in Naples turned out to be very unpleasant, and we came to the Capri on short notice. The staff, from Demitri and Edison at the front desk, to Jose who shuttled us back and forth from the beach to the cleaning staff made us feel right at home, and reminded us what we love about Naples. We come multiple times a year, and I think we have found a new place from which to base our visits. TOP marks, and sincere thanks!

Great location. Fantastic price. We couldn’t believe that, at that price, we got a nice room, pool, shuttle service, and breakfast. Everyone was very nice too. Can’t ask for more than that!
