I paid for an ocean view room and I got the back of the hotel. Can’t connect to WiFi and non staff can help , say connection is bad. I asked for help only front desk can assist and lines are long and only one person is at the desk. Not what I expected for my girdt time using Expedia .

Excelent resort!

Overall I had a great experience at hotel Tesoro Manzanillo.

Our family enjoyed the entertainment every evening and the activities during the day at the pool.

The rooms are clean, but they need to have more divercity of food and the bar tenders are not polite.

Rooms are ok except the mattress there dirty and smell like mold.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The food was amazing. Overall great experience.

Beautiful hotel, great rooms, and a location that cant be beat --right on the beach. Service was lacking and the food was not great. Go out to eat as much as you can.

The children's area is a definite plus for parents with toddlers.

The reason I gave the 3 stars was in the way the staff was unable to solve or escalate our needs. I reserved a room with 2 beds and ocean view, upon my arrival I got a room with a king size bed. Beautiful view, but 1 bed. It took them over an hour to give me a room with 2 beds whenIhad made my reservationfora room with two beds. Once I got the new room we were not pleased with the view. It was a partial view. Once I told them about the view they made us wait until the next day after 3 pm to give us the new room. Another complain is the internet, we couldn't get a good signal and the T.V. never worked. Didn't have service our whole stay. We kept calling the only reply was they're working on it. The keys to the room had to be reactivated every day and sometimes more than once. That was very inconvenient.

Restful and very professional staff. Always helpful and willing to speak with me in Spanish so I could practice.

I feel like we got scammed because we booked with Expedia and paid in full then when we arrived they told me I had to pay for an additional ticket because they had different information on their end even though I called customer service Expedia could not help me. I ended up paying it because we were exhausted. The check in took over an hr. I was extremely disappointed. Other than that it was perfect for my kids and food is not the greatest.

Our room was very damp, moist. Covers were wet and damp. Not sure it was due the ocean or poor room ventilation. Hallway was so noisy, weddind from musicnight until 2am. Music was so loud you could hear it from the 15th floor

The bathroom toilet did not work, the phone in the room did not work and we killed a couple of roaches.

Nice and comfortable rooms ( I recommend the master suite) increíble view from floor 18 , food is not the best but is good 👍 drinks are great

My family and i really liked it! I think staff csn improve their service in the foid area, the food was not as great as other times we have visited.

The location was great - beach front. Our room was great, nice ocean view. Evening entertainment was good. I think the thing we didn't appreciate much was food variety. Being that it is in Manzanillo, we expected more sea food options. Looks like beach didn't admit sellers, so we didn't have fresh fruit, coconuts, etc. That was more fun just down the way. It is okay to stay if you don't care to drive around and see the city. If you like fun mariscos, fruits, etc. no need to stay in 'all-inclusive'.

Bathroom toilet was leaking sewage and the service team didn’t do anything but place a small towel over it even after numerous requests to fix it or move our rooms. Our sheets also had blood stains. We had 2 rooms next to each other with 4 beds total and requested blankets at least 5 different times and they would only give us 2. They refused to give us blankets and offered us sheets. The beds only had sheets on them, no blankets at all hence our request for blankets. 3 hours later at 10pm we finally got the other 2 blankets but only after we asked to speak to a manager. We had to walk down to the lobby 4 times. The first time, I called and was told I’d get a call back regarding the bathroom and nothing. The other times they didn’t answer the phone so we walked down to the lobby 4 times in order to request service to the bathroom and blankets. We had 2 young children and they were cold and needed to go to bed but it took hours to get blankets. We were also down to only one bathroom since the sewage was leaking the entire time. Safe to say we are never returning.

The hotel room, the hotel staff, the ocean views, overall cleanliness of the dining room, our hotel room and the swimming pools. All were first class. I may have wanted a few more vegan options in the dining room, but the food was great.

Love that it's beachfront. The pool was very nice and clean. Staff were friendly. Food was not great but good, and fruit was fresh. Entertainment was good the 1st night, though the Karaoke 2nd night not kid friendly, crowded and not enough seating provided, we left after 10min.

Everything was great at the hotel, the only 2 bad things I could say would be that they’ve locked the tvs and you can’t get English channels even with staff help. And then the beach is quite deep, you from knee deep to chin deep in about 5 feet from shore. But very great hotel

Well kept and looked after. Food was ok. Biggest negative is the very very very loud pool during the day 8:30-6:30. You can’t get away from it even in your room. The windows shook. The show almost broke my eardrums too… couldn’t watch it.

Food and service was horrible I checked out a day early

The rooms we got were right above the entertainment so it was very noisy and we were not able to rest well, my family all got sick from the food they serve. Hotel is clean and staff is very pleasant, the beach is fantastic!

Overall this hotel offered everything I needed and the room was great. I would love to see more food options in the future but really enjoyed my stay.

I loved our trip here. We really enjoyed the private beach and the pools. One thing i didn't appreciate is that some staff told us we had to pay for wifi and on our last day another staff said oh no its free. So while we enjoyed being unplugged it was hard to keep in touch with family & work. Also i didn't really like the food, i would've enjoyed more variety and FANS, please install fans for the heat and for the flies. The night entertainment was amazing just needed some fans for that heat. Overall we'd go again!

Hotel was beautiful, room was great, staff were wonderful. The location being on the beach was perfect. The only thing that could be improved upon was stocking of the in room bar fridge daily with water and pop (as we were told that it would be).

Wonderful private Beach

This is the thrid time we go El Tesoro de manzanillo hotel and all times we have had a great experience, plus the beach is incredible because there are no high waves and the water is on calm most of the time

We spent 2 weeks at Tesoro. The building and rooms are lovely as is the pool and incredible beach. Staff were fantastic. My only complaint was the food. The buffets were ok but strictly Mexican food. The two restaurants of Mexican Food and Italian food rotates nightly. We went to Italian and I have to say any meat was grossly over cooked and the pasta was crunchy. I know they r trying but it was bad. We were maybe one couple of 4 that were from North America. It was all Mexican travellers who are so nice and we enjoyed it.

This hotel is worst hotel I been in my life, rooms are very old, beds are not comfortable at all ( I was waking up every morning with neck and back pain ), food quality is baddddd, my friend get harassed by one of the stuff ( he kept calling the room to ask if she want free massage ), the beach are is the worst in Manaz

La playa estaba muy linda, las actividades para niños nos gustaron mucho, pero en la zona de sombrillas había algo de basura y me encajé un palillo en el pie.

Honestly everything was horrible especially the food . On 2 separate occasions the food was spoiled I’m currently with a horrible stomach ache. The pillows were horrible the beach sucks big time. It’s just not worth it you are better off spending a lil more for a better place bc you are going to have to go out to eat anyways trust me stay away

While in Mexico...tried to call them numerous times due to need to cancel....couldnt get through BEfORE the deadline, ended up LOSING our deposit....THEY WOULDN'T REFUND OUR CANCELLATION FEE

Stayed in junior suite with 3 balconies ocean view it was amazing loved everything !

Too hot, they need more fans or A/C in lobby area, show room, and night bar. They also need more staff at bar at night. There was like 50 people at bar with long line and only 1 bartender in horrible heat, we could not enjoy there amenities, they did not have the proper ventilation or staff.

Lots of choice of food beautiful place. But when it comes to help you with issues o manager on site .

The place was nice. First floor not so great to enjoy the ocean view. And didn’t like the fact that no hot water to shower

I like the views. Easy access to the beach. A lot of food options. Big pool. Dislike my room it smelled like mildew shower had no pressure sink would get clogged. It be better if they had transportation available to and from the airport. Better alcoholic drinks or beers

No room service No good tequila No wifi No steamers or laundry service No separate pools for children and adults The staff was nice that is about it. I wouldn’t return to this place at all. It needs a lot of work. Only reason we stayed here was due to a family wedding. & I would’ve stayed at the nicest hotel here Like I have before. Stay away from this place even the rooms smell and are humid.

Horrible checkin, master suite was rundown with stains and tears in the carpet and dirty windows. Food was good. Pool area was dirty, saw human feces on the deck and alerted staff but nobody came to clean for a knots an hour. Same to j f the next day when we saw a child vomit, incredibly dirty. Location is good but they don’t have enough chairs on the beach or pool for all the guests so people are constantly fighting to reserve them and no staff is policing it. It was like the Wild West, never knew if we would have a place to sit down.

Everyone was nice, excellent services from the entryway to the restaurants. The shows were so entertaining. We would definitely come back

The pool area was nice; even on the 9th floor I could often hear a dog barking day and night, check in was at 3pm but didn’t get my room till after 4pm. The day after I arrived my room hadn’t been cleaned útil I call to complain after 6pm. Not sure if they have a staff shortage or what the deal was.

En general el hotel está en buenas condiciones, la comida y servicio son buenos, sin embargo el espacio de áreas de albercas es limitado para la cantidad de gente que alberga el hotel.

I liked everything, except there were no towels in the room. The pillows and bed sheets smelled like pee.

Tesoro is a 3 star hotel. Don't ask for more or less. I was surprised that there was no seafood for food options. I never saw a additional menu of food you can purchase separately that would have been helpful. You get 3 buffets as options, breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are lucky to reserve a spot at their only restaurant you'll have either Mexican food or Italian. So the food was lacking in my opinion, the drinks were also a bit weak. Only Indio and Tecate were available. Again its all inclusive, but the choices are not there. The place also charges you for WIFI (but the server was down while we stayed). I would not go back, I'd pay more to have a open food menu and drinks. If you do find yourself there and want seafood go to ALTAMAR, you can taxi or walk up the street. Amazing food and a view of both bays to kill for! Next door is also CASALUNA, very cool bar. Those are the places I was able to salvage this trip.

Es la primera vez que me toca hospedarme en Tesoro Manzanillo y en general creo que es una buena opcion para descansar y relajarse a pie de playa con alguna que otra cosa a mejorar, por el precio creo es muy buena opcion y como principal punto a mejorar creo es el servicio, muy pocas veces en los restaurantes se me acerco algun mesero por si necesitaba algo, llegando al punto de tener que tomar cubiertos de otra mesa, nunca se me acercaron en la piscina, pero bueno al final uno lo puede resolver, lo mejor es la zona acuatica infantil que esta muy bien para los pequeños, la comida es como cualquier otro todo incluido economico, no esperen lo mejor del mundo ni tanta variedad pero es suficiente para tener algunas opciones y comer, las bebidas tambien son de categoria baja pero como mencione esto es esperado por ser un todo incluido economico, el hotel esta limpio y las albercas tambien estaban limpias, me gusto que por una cantidad de aproximadamente un tercio de una hoche de hospedajem, entregas la habitacion y te puedes seguir quedando hasta las 5pm, incluso hay la opcion de tambien quedarse con la habitacion por 500 pesos mas pero no le veo mucho el caso, en general si lo recomiendo como opcion economica de todo incluido en Manzanillo y para pasarla en familia con los niños.

The food was terrible and no restaurant option. I feel we were overcharged for the poor food quality at the buffet and the drinks were not good!

The Property itself was beautiful! We had a WONDERFUL time. The food was lacking if you don't eat seafood (I don't).... breakfast was the same each morning, it would have been nice to have a little variety... The restaurant hours were always strange.... The Bar didn't open till 11 which I thought after visiting other all inclusive hotels was strange.... Overall, we had a great time!

Everything was great, the property is gorgeous! Friendly staff, great entertainment, beach access, beautiful ocean views. All around an amazing experience.

No wifi and Pool closes at 7pm. Checkout took more than an hour.

El hotel muy bonito , limpio y el personal muy amable , el Show de los bailarines fue excepcional!! Muy bonito el ambiente que hacen y la comida riquísima !! Esta es la segunda vez que bamos y lo recomiendo al 💯 ya estamos listos para el 2022 🙏😍❤️

Customer service specially from desk is bad , no smile no information, no smile,all staf on desk need customer service training, bell boys are the only one with good nice service

Do not come to this hotel. No WiFi inside the room only in the lobby. They only offer two kinds of beer and they are really light beers, no corona or models. We got to the hotel at 10am made us wait till 3pm for check in at the end they didn’t help my family with putting us close by each other.

No Wi-Fi included on the all inclusive amenities as stated on the Expedia website. It cost almost $4.00 American dollars every 24hr. period. Then one could only use it at the Lobby & Bar close to the Lobby.... No room service as stated in the all inclusive package. Check in Lobby workers could be friendly and explained all the amenities they do not offer. They only served one kind of beer and it was flat, needed to be colder ...

Very pleasant stay, very friendly, everyone always smiling and worth the stay.

The check in was very slow and the staff was very rude in the buffet one of the servers talk to me very rudely and put his finger in my face as I was putting on my mask food was poor quality and cold check out totally unorganized w ever guest waiting for cars and taxi service the they did not care for social distance
