El hotel es viejo y el precio es alto por el precio puedes acceder a uno mucho mejor

El lugar es tranquilo y con buena atencion y servicio. Pero le hace falta mucha inversion. Esta muy viejo el edificio y mobiliario. Muy descuidadas las instalaciones en general. No tienen servicio de restaurante y sin posibilidad de conseguir ni un cafe por la mañana.

En la habitación uno de los colchones tenía una punta de resorte salido peligroso, las habitaciones algo deterioradas, ventanas que no cierran por falta de bisagras, mobiliario muy viejo

La atención de parte del personal fue muy buena, las habitaciones cumplen con su cometido de llegar a dormir despues de estar en playa o paseando, lo malo fue que el servicio de restaurante no estaba disponible y tenias que salir a bucar algo o traer tus cosas para consumir en el hotel. No hay refrigerador en las habitaciones, pero se podía rentar uno. La playa es tranquila, ideal para niños.

Solo hace falta mantenimiento a las instalaciones, todo lo démas esta super bien!

Me gusto la vista al mar desde la habitacion, no me gusto lo descudiado que esta el baño y lo duro de los colchones

Lo mejor del hotel es la alberca con calefacción, los climas de los cuartos silenciosos y en buen estado y el acceso a la playa. Lamentablemente los dias que estuvimos no tenian servicio de restaurante ni bar. Las instalaciones en general les falta mantenimiento. Por el precio vale la pena hospedarse aqui.

El hotel es un hotel viejo. Falta que le inviertan un poco en los cuartos y áreas comunes. La tv es de las viejitas y se ve muy mal la señal del cable. Las cortinas del cuarto casi no tapan nada y les faltaban ganchitos. No tienen refrigerador, tuvimos que rentarlo por separado (renta por día) Sin embargo, la limpieza de los cuartos es buena y las sábanas y toallas (aunque eran viejas) siempre olían a limpio. Nos tocaron los 3 días de "convivio" con una familia que supongo que eran familiares del dueño del hotel y la primera noche estuvieron en la zona de la alberca con la música a todo volumen hasta la 1 de la mañana (llegábamos una niña de 3 años que no podía dormirse por el ruido), los otros 2 días no pusieron música pero de todos modos se escuchaban sus pláticas y risas a carcajadas hasta muy tarde de la noche...siendo que se supone que el reglamento decía que el área de la alberca se cerraba a las 10 pm. El personal fue muy amable pero no solucionaron ese tema. No volvería a este hotel definitivamente ...la relación costo vs las instalaciones del cuarto y hotel no coinciden.

Todo bien, pero si falta que cambie colchones el hotel, realmente están muy incómodos.

No vale lo que pagas, viejo y no le dan mantenimiento, alberca en mal estado con agua fría, no hay alimentos en el hotel, no puedes salir a caminar porque es muy peligroso, no regresamos

No vale su precio, definitivamente no volveríamos. Habitaciones en malas condiciones no colocan ni una sombra para la playa.

The whole building is run down. I will never go back. No hot showers. Dirty pool. Randomly tried charging extra... Very strange. Staff broke iPhone charger. Have to ask for toilet paper at front desk and you are not allowed to put used toilet paper in toilet to flush. Taxi service is not honest mostly.

Instalaciones muy viejas y descuidadas. Ropa de cama y de baño igual viejos y con apariencia percudida. Lo bueno, a pie de playa muy tranquila y el personal muy amable.

el hotel es viejo, pero está limpio y tiene lo básico indispensable para pasarlo bien. lo que le hace genial es su playa, está increible. la pasamos muy felices. creo que por parte del personal de recepción hace falta conocimiento del lugar y su actitud puede mejorar.

No dan toallas para la alberca y playa ! Las toallas del cuarto muy pequeñas el restaurante del hotel cierra a las 16:00. Las teles muy mal solo la ubicación y la bahía me convenció

En general bien, la vista desde las habitaciones hacia la playa es hermosa, el hotel tiene instalaciones un poco ya deterioradas, sin embargo el servicio es excelente, estuvimos muy a gusto, está a pie de playa , el agua de las regaderas sale muy calientita, lo único que no me gustó es que el agua de la alberca está muy fría, pero el clima lo compensa.

Falta mantenimiento a las instalaciones, llaves con fuga, ventilador hace mucho ruido. El lugar está bien ubicado y la playa increíble.

Sinceramente un hotel de 3 estrellas que merece 2. Los baños olían a orines. Se nota que el mantenimiento no es lo suyo. La alberca muy sucia. Dicen que lo barato sale caro. Pero creo que no es tan barato como para tener instalaciones tan descuidadas.

This property is horrible, had no ac/ it had a box 12 inch tv, all the way to the celling. I electricity plug. the beds smell, towels in the restroom with makeup/dirty. no accessories at all no WIFI, the key (medal Key) had a long sting. I had to look for another property immediately I just didn't feel safe at all.

la playa es muy bonita parece alberca, excelente para los niños, el hotel es antiguo pero en buen estado. lo único muy malo es que carecen de por completo de mobiliario para la estancia en la playa. como sombrillas y en la alberca que es realmente pequeña el mobiliario para protegerse del sol es realmente escaso

El hotel tiene una muy buena ubicación en la península Santiago, la playa es tranquila y con poca gente, el ambiente muy familiar, tienes centros comerciales cercanos, su personal es muy amable y atentos, estan al pendiente de los huespedes en la playa. La.ubicación del hotel te permite tener noches muy tranquilas, solo tienes las olas y ningún otro ruido del exterior llega a tu habitación, eso es excelente. Las instalaciones requieren mantenimiento, los accesorios de los baños es importante puedan renovarlos, asi como las puertas y sillas de las habitaciones. La ropa de cama y de baño debe mejorar, sugiero lleven sus toallas. Pase una buena estancia pero espero mejoren sus instalaciones y los huespedes quedaran fascinados. No me arrepiento pero si deseaba más confort.

Tried this hotel completely by luck having not been satisfied with other visits elsewhere. Would definitely come back to this one specially because of the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the room.

El lugar nada que ver con las fotos, son instalaciones muy viejitas, no hay aire acondicionado en los cuartos, las puertas no sirven

Las habitaciones muy desgastadas y algunos insectos entre ellos cucarachas, no me siento seguro en la habitación.

La habitación está muy rustica y descuidada, la pintura y la pared. Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que abajo no nos podían hospedar porque habían fumigado. Las toallas y las cobijas deplorables, muy sucias, parece que nunca las lavaban. Es el primer Hotel que llegó que no tiene refrigerador porque tenía un costo extra, para lo que costaba se me hizo absurdo que no tuviera algo tan básico como el refrigerador. Solo un día nos dejaron papel e hicieron la limpieza, los demás días nada. Lo peor que para salir a comprar solo está un Oxxo a 10 minutos caminando, no hay nada alrededor para poder comprar cosas básicas. Honestamente no regresó a ese hotel.

No funciona bien el aire acondicionado, las sábanas están muy desgastadas, baño muy feo, cortina de baño muy chica, televisor muy viejo, en general falta de mantenimiento, les falta invertir para renovar el hotel

I reserved this hotel only looking at pictures and when I arrived it was a deception. The area looked pretty bad, the hotel is pretty beaten up and not clean. I reserved for two nights and I only stayed for one since I could not stay in a place like that. I will never go there again, and the price was not cheap either.

The staff was great and the grounds were beautiful. We ate at the restaurant and the breakfast was very good. The rooms need major updating, and they seemed clean but were so worn out it was hard to tell. The beds could be softer. The nice little beach area is perfect for smaller kids that dont want big waves. It was beautiful sitting on the balcony at night and early am watching the fisherman. If they remodeled the place it was be outstanding. The price was ok for just a place to sleep while you are out all day. No real hot water, lukewarm but typical for many beach hotels.

I left after the first night because the room was in bad codition from cloged drain, no hot water, dirty and unhealthy condition. Front dest told me I can get refound from Expedia.than you

Staff very unfriendly . Rooms are very dirty . They lie about playground for kids on their pictures, there is no playground. Elevator was broken in 1995 and they left it like that. Place was a total RIP off .

Beds are hard as a rock. There are no outlet plugs inside the bathroom, & the bathroom overall is a disaster. Everything is very old, dirty & uncomfortable.

The only worth at this hotel is tbe beach, the room needs an improvement if you stay at this hotel make sure tha you get the room with air conditioner because it is hot, also take with you mosquito repellent.

Too many Chilangos complaining about everything. The staff was good but most likely not used to compliments. People if you want a 5star pay for it. Pick up your trash and tip for service.

Hotel needs to include in the description that beach access is locked off at 8:30PM-the staff did not bother to advise us upon checkin. Also a full disclosure of locking procedures because much to our surprise we were going to walk out to town at 11PM and the the front was 'steel gate' locked. The door handles on the rooms looked and felt like they were going to fall apart. The rooms had old fashioned keys and they did not lock rooms with the key-it was the push button type that need to be locked before the door was shut. The hotel is simply old and is in desperate need of updating. Restaurant hours were not disclosed so please know that it is open 8-4:30. Advise folks that most everything opens at 9AM and the town is pretty much asleep until then too.

Horrible Vacation-We booked this hotel going by the pictures looked like but not we got! Beds are hard, bathrooms are dingy and the grounds need help. We stayed one night only to have to leave because of a scare from a phone call in the middle of the night. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was not like pictured! Grout was in bad shape,floors were not kept up and if that wasn't enough doors did not close properly. We did stay the first night only because it was charged after specifically requesting to pay at the hotel, THE NEXT NIGHT THOUGH WAS A NIGHTMARE, after making plans for the next day and retiring to our rooms, my brother called down to reception for a snack shortly before turning in and though he gave his room number reception called each room to find out who had ordered the snack, so unprofessional. Then in the middle of the night 3:40am approx. one of the rooms received a call asking specifically for my daughter-in-law and me saying there was some kind of police action to search our rooms and to stay put, I called reception and was told there had not been a phone call, but the person that called had my name and that of my daughter-in-laws. We had from the start exchanged rooms which was a good thing in hindsight because who knows what would of happened if my daughter-in-law had answered that phone call, she would've been SCARED FOR SURE. We immediately got everyone into my room and LEFT the hotel,IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! By the way nobody so much as asked why or what was wrong so much for their guests. This is not my idea of a vacation or a good time for me and my family. We will never book this hotel again. In conclusion this hotel leaks the names of guests for extortion or who knows what! Guest beware!

Must have been great in its day but poor room maintenance and dated public areas result in a disappointing experience. threadbare sheets and towels, almost inoperable shower head and no hot water. Hope it can re invent itself!

the hotel is very old with no maintenance for along time. the entrance to the hotel is terrible and dangerous but, the people are great with a good attitude with what they have to work with. for us that are older, be aware there is no elevator to the 6 floors. we paid for a week but left after a few days for another place with more accomodations for an older guy.

Amazing views from room great people.

Only reason we stayed here was because they allowed dogs and beach front location. Very rundown area of town with graffiti, trash, street dogs, abandoned buildings, but gorgeous view of ocean and mountains. Hotel in dire need of updating. Mattresses were hard as rock and pillows were like sandbags. Ended up leaving earlier than planned and went up coast to Laguna del Tule, which was wonderful.

This hotel is very old. The rooms are very small and uncomfortable. Bed and pillows were very hard and old. I payed extra to have an AC in my room and when i got there i had to leave a deposit of $700 pesos to borrow the control for the AC and TV. The TV was an old and very small TV that only had 7 channels, when they had already told us that they had cable. There was no access to beach or the pool after 8pm, not even to take a walk by the beach. Therefore we were stuck in the hotel with 7 channels to watch. There was no access to the internet from the room, we were told we had to go and sit in the lobby. And to top it off, internet was very slow. Employees were not helpful what so ever, nor were they nice. I am currently using a walker because of some medical issues, and I asked the employees if i could borrow a chair or rent a chair to sit by the beach, and they refused. I had to rent a chair from the hotel next door. Only good things about the hotel was that it was clean, and had a very nice view of the beach. Nice location right by the beach. I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I stay there again.

There were roaches in my room, and it was filthy. The staff was not friendly or helpful at all.

It is very sad to see a hotel like this empty, while i stayed there was hardly only 3 people besides me. The beach is excellent, the rooms are moderate ect. If you want to have a nice quite time then this is the place !

We only stayed two nights. There are some outside areas of the hotel which have been eroded over time. Needs remodeling and they should have a restaurant opened later than it is.

We had a wonderful time at Playa de Santiago hotel. There staff was very nice and friendly. The food at their restaurant was delicious. The view is breathtaking. We are planning on going back.

Need maintenance and extermination of insects

we got a good time, my family and I enjoy the beach, the ocean was just right because the waves was small, I didn't have to worry and the people was nice.

Very comfort and convenience. It was very close to visit our fam.

The hotel was very clean but old and in much need of updating.Beds were very hard. Most of the towels were old, like I would use for cleaning. Nice pool and clean. We only ate there for breakfast and that was very good and reasonable. We would of liked to sit by the ocean but no lounge chairs or umbrella ocean side. I did sneak a chair to sit by the ocean but was caught and told I could not take it off of the property but took one down later. The view was wonderful, was able to watch the fisherman fish from their boats and Oceanside.. Since it was in the bay, swimming felt safe without the undertow. Staff was very accommodating . Many rooms available, would not of needed to make reservations and could of received a better price per night.

this hotel is 50 years old. They keep it clean but it is really old and needs updating. The hotel is at the end of a long not so nice road. Other hotels on the same road are also very old and in poor condition and it is very isolated. There are very few tourists staying in this area so not a place for everyone. There are no luxuries at this hotel.

The hotel was very clean but shabby. Door knobs replaced by sliding bolts in bathroom for example. Broken tiles everywhere. Must have been a grand hotel at one time, Very nice location and nice layout. But looks like management hasn't returned any money into upkeep other than cleaning.

Room was clean and adequate. No on-site restaurant after late afternoon. No pool towels provided, so bring your own.

my wife and I were very pleased with this hotel. It has a great location for swimming, quiet ---hard to find in Mexico, and a good restaurant. Our only complaint would be the pillows, which were not nearly as soft as they should have been.

This hotel was obviously nice at one time however it is in desperate need of a complete makeover. The neighborhood is also scary and makes you want to stay in room. On a positive note the view is incredible.

This hotel is located on a road containing several local hotels located directly on the beach with easy access. We enjoyed breakfast outside on a lower level, which provided very nice views of the entire bay. The beach is gray at this side of the bay and the water clean and calm, but the busy, popular part of the beach is a reasonable walk from the hotel. New Year's Eve was affected not only by the local fireworks which started early and continued long after midnight, but some disco around the bay was so loud with low base resonating that even ear plugs didn't work. Ha! And that continued until who knows when. I would stay at this hotel again, as it was reasonably priced and clean.
