Pros. - Cici from the front desk was so friendly during my checking in. I received an upgrade to a one bed suite room. - I was overwhelmed by this wonderful suite room. - The housekeeping Mary was a wonderful lady. I met her several times on the floor and she always asked me whether I need some additional service. She also delivered a local sweet cake as welcome gift. This was really nice. - The executive launch on the top floor is very modern and offers a lot of spaces with privacy. The food at happy hour time was delicious and of high-quality. Stella from the service team was so professional and friendly. She was always asking guests for additional wishes. - The hotel gym is very professional and huge with all kinds of workout machines.

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by both front desk attendees and the executive lounge staff. As a Titanium member, I was pleasantly upgraded to a spacious two-room suite with two bathrooms. Upon entering the executive lounge, Stella greeted me with my usual cappuccino with Bailey’s and a glass of my favourite candies. Conveniently located, the Westin is within walking distance of the subway. Both the Westin and SHE Airport are on Metro Line 2. The hotel is a 3-6 minute walk from the Shitushuguan Metro station. If you’re traveling with heavy luggage, use Exit B2, which features escalators, about 6 minute walk. If you are comfortable with taking the stairs, Exit C2 is a 3-minute walk from the Westin.

The hotel located near the metro station: "City library". Convenient for dinning and shopping, quiet room. clean and spacious. The staff is very helpful.

Everything was fine.

Nothing spectacular, average old building, very small windows. Rooms and corridor have a well preserved smoking smell. Although the hotel follows policy of strict smoking ban, the maintained odor can tell you that people heavily smoked everywhere for many years there. Check with the type of the room they assign to you while check in, as it may hugely differ from the one you booked. The breakfast is mainly Chinese but in general ok. Don't expect much Better spend little more and choose newer hotels.

This hotel is quite a old . Room conditions are not like other 5 star hotel such as Hilton, Holiday inn etc.

Stayed 3 days for business trip. The room is clean, the pillow a bit on the soft side. Amenities provided were sufficient. Its located just within walking distance to the shopping center. There is Family Mart within fhr hotel & Luckin coffee. Just outside another local mini market. Breakfast was good with lots of different variety offered. Would stay here again when I am in Shenyang

The swimming pool requires wearing swimming cap, which is nice though I couldn't enjoy until I got one. Be careful of the hot bath. That's so much hot that I couldn't put my whole body under the water

The Westin Shenyang is the best hotel in Shenyang! The hotel associates are wonderful people led by the GM Ms. Sun. She is very diligent, proactive, and a great leader. Ms. Gao helped ensure the stay was fabulous and was absolutely incredible throughout every aspect of the stay. The stay was to celebrate a wedding anniversary and the hotel went above and beyond to help ensure the stay was extra special. The warm treats, amenities, pictures, decorations, and personal touches is what one might expect from a Ritz Carlton or St. Regis stay. In fact, I would say that what the team did hear would in fact even exceed those properties and they could not have done a more spectacular job than what they did. The hotel is beautiful, centrally located. The lounge was fantastic as well as the restaurants. The rooms were beautiful. The overall staff across every department was very friendly and professional. I truly believe this is the best Westin in the world led by a very special team. One would truly regret not staying at this unique property in Shenyang!

Hotel's breakfast was great and delicious.

Great location. Easy to get to from the airport by taxi and subway. 77 metres to nearest subway exit on Line 2, which also services the airport. On check I received a nice two room suite on the 26th floor. Westin Lounge staff members are very attentive and helpful. Stella and Jason provide stellar service, even anticipating my drink desires. They make my stays at this hotel exceptionally great. My room was very nice and great amenities.

The Shenyang Westin surpassed highest expectations. I rented one of their residence apartments for a two week business trip, and it was perfect. Having a kitchen was so helpful. The service was perfect. From checking with Kobe, who was amazing and really went out of his way to ensure my comfort, to Rose in housekeeping who did an incredibly thorough cleaning with a smile on her face the whole time. The front desk took care of any deliveries (groceries, etc.) swiftly. I will stay here for all my future trips. Thank you, Westin!

I enjoyed everything about my stay. It is a lovely hotel with beautiful rooms, comfortable bedding, good amenities, an excellent main restaurant, and a very good executive lounge with pleasant staff. The location is fantastic, within a few minutes' walking distance to the nearest subway station and Shenyang's most exceptional luxury mall. Many of the main attractions are nearby, and the opera house is a 4-minute cab ride away.

Hotel and staff were excellent, nothing was a problem for them and can honestly say this hotel which was only opened one year ago in Shenyang exceeded my expectations.

On arrival we had a problem with the electrical circuit in the distribution board. They quickly moved us to a higher grade room as it was going to take time to repairs.

The hotel is older, BUT I will come back whenever I'm back in town simply because how awesome of a team you have! On my second day here during breakfast, I encountered some slight issues with the service. Restaurant manager Hewen (庄贺文) apologized profusely, listened to my concerns, spoke candidly, and jumped into action. We observed dinner service that same day and saw MASSIVE improvements - most if not all of the previous imperfections were corrected, and the team did an amazing job managing the restaurant. Hewen and myswelf maintained connection throughout my stay, and during her time off, the other manager Jessica and her team kept it up very well and took good care of everyone. Stella and Jason at the lounge were both absolutely amazing as well. Jason was greeting us like an old friends every time we entered the lounge, and his service was impeccable - his personable approach and bubbly but also down-to-earth personality amazed us during our every single lounge visit, and his attention to detail never left us with empty wine glasses. Stella was wonderful as well in her own way, and her signature cocktail “Stella Special” was delightful - we had two each and would have asked for more if we weren't loaded already. With them and the team taking care of us, we made sure that we made time every day to spend a couple quality hours at the lounge. Having stayed at almost all international upscale hotels in Shenyang, I have to say that even though there were newer hotels out there with fancier pools, grander lobbies or floor-to-ceiling windows, nothing beats a team of energetic and caring people, and that's exactly what you have at the Westin. I will not even contemplate staying elsewhere next time I'm in town - there are simply no competition when it comes to soft products.

The location is situated in a very busy street. It may take a longer time for the transport to pick you up .

It is a great hotel. Clean, the suite is very spacious. The location is great as well. The breakfast is nice, can have international one too. The staff are kind and there is a safe in the room. Tea maker, coffee machine, everything you need. Will come back!

Many things I like about this hotel. Location is gear for business, shopping, dining, and relaxing walks. My 26th room was spacious and very nice . On my first time visiting the hotel, I was greeted by Cedrick Croas, the General Manager. Three days later I changed to this hotel. Over my stay, I was also greeted by Stella Liu, Executive Club Manager, and Leanne Liang, Director of Sales and Marketing. All the staff I encountered contributed to make my stay wonderful.

The parking was convenient but each time I trued to leave the lot would try to charge for parking so I would need to go back inside the hotel to fix it. Also the quality of the breakfast buffet was not as good as the last few visits.

Overall love the Sofitel. Nicole, Icy, Jason and Kobe are absolute gems. I never wanted for anything and they bent over backwards to make sure I enjoyed my stay. The suite I was upgraded to was stunning I had a really nice stay in your hotel recently, and loved most every minute of it.

It is the best experience to stay in Sofitel Shenyang Lido. Hotel is perfect, nice and clean after new renovation. Room is large and bed is so comfortable. Besides your staffs are very helpful especially Bessie. She always show her coutesy each time I saw her and make me feel warm. Surely I will ba back when visit Shenyang again in the near future.

Overall I'm very satisfied with the experience. I had an additional cause to be happy this time. Due to my flight's cancellation, I had to come back to the hotel. Though rooms were not available Rooms Nicol gave me an upgraded room for the same price as a standard room. Really made my day. Thanks

It’s a nice 5 star hotel in Shenyang,the staff is friendly,the rooms are nice and clean and the food is good.A nice place to hangout is the Hotelbar and the dining restaurant „la Bellevue“,the manager Maggie (her english is awesome) and captain Dylan are so friendly and nice and they took care for me after a working day with a cold drink and a nice chat.

The staff are very friendly and make you feel important. In particular, Kobe at the front desk, Nicole was kind and attentive and swiftly arranged check in and room, and my housekeeper, Mrs. Li. I also want to mention the woman who delivers an ice bucket for me every night. She is always on time and delivers the ice with a smile. The overall experience was very pleasant. I felt the management offer the best service to all guests even though the COVID-19

New environment very pleasant with a service up to my expectations Very surprised by the new setting after the work, the change is radical and remarkable, especially for the rooms, the gym and the lounge on the 26th. The service was very good too, very attentive staff. The complete lounge is now very bright and spacious, looks great! It's a pity that breakfast is not served, the staff in the lounge is also brilliant. Jason take care of everything. I felt very, very comfortable and welcome in the room as well as in the hotel in general. Room is pretty nice and clean, Manager Nicole is doing a good job, she also helps my laptop internet connecting, very clear and good English. Breakfast buffet well equipped and good selection. For me, actually the best Accor Hotel I've stayed in in the last 10 years. I hope that this will stay that way and that I can look forward to further stays at Sofitel Shenyang Lido.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are most helpful. I found it very hard to find anything to complain about in my 2 years staying in the longterm residence, all the staff were super but i must single out TAO and NICOLE who were magnificent. Thank you so much for making it a home from home,make my life easy. I will stay there again if and when i visit Shenyang. Thank you .

This was our first time staying at a Sofitel hotel and we enjoyed almost everything. We stayed on the club level and Jason, the young man taking care of the clubroom, was extraordinary in terms of his friendliness and attention. The breakfast buffet was reasonably good with bacon almost like western style in terms of crispiness. The pool was a major factor in selecting this hotel but we were disappointed in its configuration. Each end of the pool was very shallow and the middle of the pool was deeper. This made it almost impossible to do any kind of a turn and do lap swimming. The other amenities connected to the pool and the gym were top-notch. There was a hot tub in the public area so both men and women could use it and there were same sex hot tubs and saunas in the locker rooms. The hotel was about 70 m from the subway exit which made it convenient to access from the train station.

The hotel is located in the south of the city, near the Hun He river, opposite to the city library. It's about 10 minutes away on foot from K11 Shopping Mall. On the whole the hotel is good, and the staff are nice and friendly. However, it was funny I was allocated with a smoking room even though I had asked for a non-smoking room. The beds are comfortable, and they have very big TV sets. The breakfast is good with many options of food to choose. Personally I like the carrot juice most, and it looks very healthy. Well, to my surprise and a little disappointment, the swimming pool is rather small, but that's ideal for children and those who don't swim.

Excellent and fantastic service especially Susan who helped us to check in at the counter immediately after our arrival.Ms Stella ,the staff at the executive lounge was very helpful arranged food for us despite working for more than 12 hours,so as her colleagues.Hotel had just been renovated so everything were new.It is located near to metro station and made travelling easy.

The hotel is perfect in any sense! Luxurious, clean, extremely friendly and professional staff! Everyone is willing to help! I am grateful to Stela for her help in offering me comfortable room, and asking everyday “Do you guis need anything?”, “How can we help”. Then Gabby the hotel manager offered us corporate rate for our feature stays! I do highly recommend this hotel and am confident that you’ll get the most for the money!!!

Very pleasant and enjoyable stay at the Sofitel in Shenyang. The FOM Kobe has personally make sure of all my request is taken care and rest of staffs are friendly and professional. A definite recommendation to everyone and will stay with Sofitel again if I’m back in Shenyang in the future.

Extremely noisy due to constructions in the hotel.

I arrived very late after a long delay and had the pleasant surprise of being upgraded to a suite. Beautiful with all the amenities. The hotel is what you would expect of a Sofitel, clean, comfortable and spacious. I liked it that there is a convenience store in a little side road by the hotel and some street vendors selling fruit. Check out was little slow, they seemed overwhelmed with a large group. Will stay again.

It was pretty standard specifications for Sofitel, albeit somewhat dated fixtures and deco. However, great service, friendly staff and comfortable rooms more than make up for it!

I love this hotel and always stay here when I'm in Shenyang. The staff are so friendly, swimming pool, gym and sauna, the food is really good.

I have stayed in the hotel twice on 28th Nov and 4th Dec 2016. The staff of the hotel are friendly, but the facilities are a bit old. The bed is a bit hard.

room extremely well appointed, high quality coffee and French press coffee maker in room was wonderful. Breakfast buffet prepared by staff under supervision of French chef who made couple trips to dining area to "check on status" was great. Breakfast pastries were light, crusty, rich, basic depending on the broad array offered.

Well decorated, clean rooms. Everything as expected

The attitude of front desk staff was not that good. Cleaning staff was very helpful. The overall condition was good and very comfortable to stay. The room is a little old but still very clean. The shower curtain was a little dirty but not that bad. I may choose it again next visit.

We were promptly greeted upon arrival. At check-in we were chosen for a daily upgrade to the Executive Club room and lounge privileges, which included free cocktails and food from 6:00-8:00pm. Breakfast was also included. The service of the staff was very good.

It's got one of the few English themed pubs in China. For that reason alone it warrants a stay. The swimming pool is short.

Besides the convenience of the subway, this hotel is just ok for the price. They need free wifi in the room. Also, I was charged about $15 for a cup of coffee and orange juice in the restaurant. There's no excuse for that.
