Amazing facilities, staff and amenities

This Shangri-La is one of my personal favourite, alot of changed but 2 things remains constant is how well and immaculate that the hotel has been maintained and also how the staff are still as outstanding in my memory from 6 years ago. Lynn's team at the Horizon lounge has been brilliant. Cynthia Zeng (a familiar face), Foster Tan, Dania Sun, Elvis Chen and Kitty Wei impressed me very much despite their young age and I enjoyed the stay immensely. Food prepared by Zhang Dan and Yang Shi Tong were so good that it's definitely one of the best spreads for breakfast and Happy Hour. Thank you Shangri-La Shenyang! I look forward to my next visit.

it is clean and comfortable, the location is good enough and we have a room with good city view; the staff is very friendly and helpful.

the check in time is late about 4 pm; we arrived at 2:30pm; but they gave us 4 pm check our time after request .

Nice environment

I stayed five days at this hotel while on holiday in China with my family. It’s in a great location right in central Shenyang, very close to lots of fantastic shopping and sightseeing options, as well as the subway. We hardly bothered with the subway though because most places we wanted to visit seemed to be only 5-15 mins from the hotel via DiDi. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, without exception, and in particular I would like to call out Tony on bags and front door, and the very graceful Yulia with guest services for going above and beyond many times during our stay to ensure our family enjoyed our time in Shenyang as much as possible.

Excellent as always. We return on a regular basis for visiting family and are always very happy with shangri-la shenyang. Spacious rooms/baathrooms, friendly staff and an awesome breakfast buffet.

Carpet in hotel room is not the best choice with regards to hygiene. But its the standard in China, so one has to live with it.

My second time in Shenyang, but my first time staying at the Shangri-La Hotel. For me, it checked off all the boxes, including location, pool, and attentiveness to details. The pool was open from early (6:00am) to late (11:00pm) and was clean and comfortable. The location was walking distance for everything I needed (including to a hospital for the never-ending virus tests). Finally, the attention to detail was evident everywhere with a friendly and efficient staff. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Shenyang. You can't go wrong, and as an added bonus is the little park next door, a bit of authenticity in what can sometimes be an inauthentic environment.

This is not the first time I have been to the club lounge.Rebecca gave me a level of service that I hadn't had before.She always pays attention to some details.And the service is just some details. I'll come back again.

Permanent stay as Long Term Guest due Expat life in China, best connection to all popular places around Shenyang city life style. Lot of good restaurants and coffee shops with exclusive MixC shopping mall next to the Hotel.

I am an Longstay Costumer for many years and always come back to Shangri-La Shenyang. Very good service, very friendly staff. The food in the Restaurants is very delicious. Good Spa and Gym Area. All in all an excellent Hotel.

The hotel location is good, as for buffet breakfast, there’s so many different varieties. Very friendly staff at the front desks and the bar. Man, you’ve got to go to the lounge, you’d be amazed by the impeccable service there. Only thing is that facilitates could be a little dated, in need of renovations!

깔끔하고 괜찮은 숙소였지만 이미 지불한 조식을 다시 지불하게 하였다. 나중에 호텔스 닷컴으로부터 환불 받았지만 지불하기전 호텔측의 상세한 확인이 필요했다.

This was my second stay at Shangri La in Shenyang and It won’t be my last. Plan to stay here in future as well. Excellent service, beautiful property in the city centre. Lounge access is the best. Staff was extremely friendly.

We stayed at the Shangri-La during our trip to Shenyang. The facilities are clean and the room was large. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel provided us with endless supply of bottled water each day. What set this hotel apart from the rest is their outstanding selection of buffet breakfast. They had everything! The staff were extremely friendly and remembered our orders from the previous days. They would bring out what we had ordered without asking each morning which isn’t seen anywhere else. Bertha was very professional and warm. We enjoyed morning breakfast each day. Overall, can’t fault this place and the buffet breakfast is a treat. Highly recommend.

I have been a loyal customer of the Shangri-la brand for years. I can see that the brand treats me well and genuinely treasure my business too. Because of my work, I travel every now and then to major Asian cities and actually spend a fair amount of time in China. The Shangri-la brand has a strong presence in many of the cities which I visit, and that's proven to be a true pleasure for me in my travels. Many people ask me why I like the Shangri-la brand so much, to me, it's the many amenities which I'd come to expect of their hotels, and the touches of luxury and the high level of cleanliness and when things go wrong, their effort and the length they go to to put them right. The Shangri-la loyalty programme, Golden Circle must have records of my quirks, preferences etc and every Shangri-la I visit understands me as if I am a return guest. Thank you for making these efforts, and know that they're all appreciated. For this short stay at Shenyang's Shangri-la, I want to thank the staff who went the extra length to help me with my stay, including the most wonderful concierge staff who helped me collate my parcels well before I arrived, Betty from guest relations who was so attentive and caring, the staff at the Horizon Lounge, Kate, Chandler, Crystal and one more of the ladies whom I did not catch her name. All of you are so great and please keep it up! If I return to Shenyang again, I'd choose to stay here again for sure.

The worst check in experience from a hotel in my life. I booked through Trivago and arrived at the hotel for check in to be told that there was no reservation for me. I was then instructed to call my reservation agency which I did as the hotel was unable to make international calls. While I was calling my agent I could hear the check in staff suggesting the price was too cheap and they didn't want to give me a room for the booking price. After calling the agent and them confirming I had a booking they wanted to speak to check in staff member Kelly who had already been very abrupt to say the least. She was no longer available and so another check in member spoke to the agency but then the international call was cut off. Despite having a reservation confirmation the hotel still refused to give me a room and then suggested I make a new reservation with them at a different price. Kelly also suggested I refund my existing booking...which of course I can not do as it is the same day as the booking so the booking had already started! I sense the hotel did not want to help at all. I had to do all the international calls myself and at my own expense, even calling up the corporate booking agency that Trivago uses called hotel beds.com. Meanwhile what did the hotel do to locate my booking....nothing! I sense if you are a contractor for one of the German automotive firms or a Chinese guest then they are happy to look after you. As a foreign guest I was left to wait in the lobby for 2 hours before abandoning the hotel to carry out work commitments. Now at 21:00 Chinese time I called the hotel to see what progress had been made in locating my booking and was told by the receptionist that they would contact reservations and call me back immediately. Half an hour has since passed and no call back. So I then called the hotel back directly and they said they have spoken to my travel agency and the agency do not have a booking. This is blatantly a lie as during that time I called the agency again and they confirmed they have the booking.

1.トイレがウォシュレット付きでなかった。 　大連シャングリラはウォシュレット付きトイレなのに何故同じで無いかのか？ 　長春シャングリラにも泊まったが、ここももついていない。 　長春は、トイレの位置も窮屈で最悪。 ２．車手配のサービスボーイにタクシーを頼んだが、いつもだ断っても来ないので、サイド尋ねたら「找不到」と答え、当方がが聞くまで、その事実を伝えなかった。

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and eager to help you in any way they could.

It was pretty nice experience overall. Good location and decent & clean facility, the room was big and had a view. The morning buffet was a bit down part but overall good.

Most staff in Shangrila were helpful and courteous but a couple exude warm and welcoming attitude. Overall it was a comfortable stay with no hicups.

Bad coordination by the staffs. I was asked to upgrade to club status with full access to lounge and breakfast even though they do not have the executive club room. I accepted knowing the fact I will still be staying in a normal room. Every morning when I walked into the cafe for breakfast, they asked for my room number, and each time, they said I am not entitled to breakfast. This happened every morning during my stay. Treatment towards my relatives staying at the club room was also very bad at the club lounge. They showed the unwillingness to serve. Very bad for Shangrila standard. They do need serious hospitality training.

Big name hotel with all amenities available for the customer. Food options were rather limited probably they could have added more options. Overall it is nice hotel in a industrial city like Shenyang.

Lobby bar is a nice place to unwind after a long day listening to live music.

酒店對面是萬象城，周圍十分安靜，喜歡熱鬧的旅客可能不合適。由於不熟悉Spa區的locker操作，櫃檯在前來協助前還還對我們嘆氣，感覺很差！即使在酒店待了許多晚也不再去了。

After staying at two and three star hotels during my travels through northeast China, the Shangri-la was a two-night paradise. I stayed in a club room and was treated in an outstanding manner by all the staff I came in contact with, including the front desk, concierge, and Horizon Club. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who travels to Shenyang.

日本語が全然通じませんでした。少しは通じる人がいてもよいのでは。それ以外は不満はありません。朝食も美味しかったです。

夜1130にベル鳴らしフルーツ持ってきたのにはがっかりした。それ以外は綺麗でとても良いホテルだった。

I love to stay at Shangri-la in Shenyang during business trip, the location is good and you do not need to change elevator to your room. Overall services are good and worth to pay.

デラックスルームにしては狭い。 カミソリがなく頼んで持ってきてもらったが、翌日にもおいていなかった。

とても綺麗です。中国の人が好きそうなロビー、内装です。スタッフの対応も丁寧です。英語での対応は全く問題ありませんでした。 ホテル内のレストランのバリエーションがやや少ない気がします。

立地、客室の快適性、スタッフの対応、そしてなにより食事が美味しかったです。難を言えば浴槽の排水が遅いのとアメニティがあまり豪華でないことくらいです。

중국호텔인지라 크고 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 그리고 무료 wifi도 가능하여서 편하게 이용하였습니다! 주변에 까르프도 있고 쇼핑몰도 있어서 구경하기도 좋았고, 심양시내가 작다보니 공항이동도 수월하였습니다.

The best hotel in Shenyang for business traveler, comfort room, great room services. Sure will stay Shangri-la again.

We went during Chinese New Year. The checkin went great and the concierge was really helpful. However, we went to use the swimming pool in the night and the service in the lady's were nothing like a 4.5 star hotel. We asked where the shampoo and soap were and the staff pour some liquid in a disposable droning cup to us... Also force us out 10 mins before it is closed saying she had to catch a bus... We also wanted to use the bathroom in 2nd floor when wondering around and it seems it was closed with no sign. The hotel room was not spacious but big enough to move around in. It is in the center of the city. A couple of big shopping malls nearby.

Enjoyed the view from the room - you can see the city pretty well. Hotel is easy to find even in the night. However, no doorman is grating us or giving directions to where to park. We got useful information about local tourist events and travel tips.

員工有禮, 房間很大又整潔, 喜歡有床尾椅的大床及房間光線充足, 訂了公園景的房間,非常開揚! 離地鐵站只有3分鐘路程, 對面大商場有很多餐廳, 亦有戲院溜冰場。值得一提是自助早餐很豐富美味, 另room service 價錢不貴, 味道很好! 雖然在瀋陽來說,價格不算便宜, 但本人仍非常推薦這間酒店!

性价比真的不是很高，房间用品太低档了。但服务员都很有礼貌，这个不错。

Shangrila is the well known brand but it was so-so in Shenyang.

I have been impressed very much by the quantity of the service by the hotel staff and it's excellent facilities.
