Excellent sized suite with good kitchen facilities. Very comfortable bed. The location coukd not be better right at the bottom of the Whistler gondola on Skiers Plaza near a good range of restaurants and bars. Our suite overlooked the mountain.

A minor complaint - the shower was over the bath

The location is central and easy access to food, gondola station and bike rentals. The apartment is equipped enough to accommodate our needs. The staff are friendly and ever so helpful. The laundry facility in the basement is so handy. The water pressure for shower is good. Everything works perfectly in the apartment.

An extra mirror other than the one in the bathroom would be helpful.

Great location both for access to lifts and restaurants and bars. While the hotel has no restaurant there are several beneath the property or around it. Very welcoming and helpful staff.

Poca chiarezza nella comunicazione. Ci era stato detto che non c'era problema a lasciare la macchina nel parcheggio dopo il check out fino la tardo pomeriggio e poi ci hanno addebitato, senza alcuna preventiva comunicazione, la carte di credito con una giornata in più di parcheggio, peraltro costosissimo.

Location was superb. Some people might find it noisy as there is great nightlife around it. The room was perfect. Large 2 bedroom room with a well stocked kitchen and some great views of the mountains.

There was a very bad smell on one of the days. It turns out they were working in the room beside it as obviously disturbed some plumbing pipes. The hotel responded to it straight away (thankfully).

The location is great. All staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoy the roof top jacuzzi too.

The location was amazing and we seem to have a corner room assigned to us since it had a great view of the mountains and the activities around the hotel. The apartment (stayed in a 2-bedroom) was supper spacious so we had a relaxing time. We also used the rooftop tub in the evening where you need to book a 30-minute slot; unfortunately it was too cold on the day we booked. There are a lot of hotels/apartment in the same location but the key to our great experience are the hotel staff - they were great! The front line staff was very friendly, cheerful and helpful/informative, which made us feel at home. The valet parking was efficient and staff never make you feel like they work hard to earn tips.

We didn't like that we couldn't stay longer ;-)

The hotel is very tired. I booked the hotel based on previous reviews, however I was really disappointed with the room, it needs a total upgrade. The room was very clean but it is dated, dark, tired furniture and some stains on the carpets.

The property was in the absolute centre of the village, all the gondolas and shops were on our doorstep, literally! Super friendly staff, beautiful views. The sunset from the free hot tub on the terrace was a bonus too.

It was a shame we had to pay for Parking, but that was the only negative

We had a suite. This was very handy for breakfast. Local shops for supplies. Nice room. Hotel is right in the centre of whistler so a great location. Some noise outside but not too bad. Check in was very friendly and helpful as was checkout.

Parking was tight and we were lucky to get the last sundial parking space. That would have been very stressful. Some bits in the room were needing attention. Bulbs out and mirror loose in the bathroom.

The Sundial is very well located in Whistler. Lots of shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk radius. Rooms are a bit dated but everything worked well and was clean. Also, the beds were very comfortable. Front desk personnel did their job but were nothing special. Hot tub was great and the ability to sign up for a specific half hour block of time is a terrific bonus.

Had such a great stay at the Sundial Boutique Hotel in Whistler! You genuinely can’t beat the location — literally a couple minutes’ walk to the village and the lifts, so getting around all day was super easy. Room was comfy and the whole place just has this cozy, welcoming vibe that hit different after being out on the mountain all day. Big shoutout to Ned from the valet team — such a nice guy and honestly so helpful the whole time, whether it was grabbing our bags or giving us tips on where to check out around town. Little things like that make such a big difference and definitely didn’t go unnoticed! Would 100% stay here again and would tell anyone heading to Whistler to check this place out 🙌

Lage direkt im Zentrum an der Plaza. Trotz im Ort hohen Geräuschpegel im 9.Stock sehr ruhig durch gute gedämmte Fenster. Gut ausgestatteter Küchenbereich. Alle Geschäfte zu Fuß problemlos erreichbar.

Parkgebühr in der Tiefgarage mit fast 30 Euro pro Nacht hoch.

Everything was great. we were upgraded to a two bedroom which made a difference and gave us a more comfortable sleeping arrangements since "Grandma" has a sleeping problem. All three us = Grandma, daughter and granddaughter. Thank you for a great getaway and a chance for our youngest to relax after schooling exams.

Wonderful stay here. Close to center of village. Plenty of underground (paid) parking. Short walk to gondola to connect to Peak to Peak. Hotel even upgraded our room and we had a corner room with sprawling view. Great service. Great location. Great town in general.

Great location and atmosphere as you can walk directly to the whistler village gondola and watch the mountain biking and skiing from your window and balcony. Very well equipped room that’s pretty spacious with 5 people. We thought it was very good value for the location and cleanliness. Incredibly quiet inside with double insulation windows, couldn’t hear anything outside unless windows or balcony door was open. The sundial service was very efficient and helpful, as they gave us a text when our room was ready and held our bags so we were able to do some causal mounting biking as we arrived early.

Excellent all around! Room was spacious and the personal hot tub was a real bonus after a long day in the bike park. A couple of nice touches worth mentioning-the provided laundry baskets were so helpful as were all the bike washing tools and Muc-off. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was excellent at the hotel and in the room. Rachel at the front desk took special care of us. We had a wonderful stay and we are thinking of returning in the fall, staying again at the Sundial in the same room, if it is available.

We stayed at the Sundial Hotel as our home base for mountain biking at Whistler, and it worked out great. The location is hard to beat if you’re riding, since getting to the lifts was so easy. That alone made the trip feel smoother. The room was huge, the bathroom was huge, and the kitchen had way more useful amenities than we expected. It felt like we had plenty of space to spread out after riding all day. The bike storage and facilities in the basement were also super convenient, especially when you’re dealing with bikes, gear, and dirty riding clothes every day. The laundry room is also a nice plus for washing dirty riding clothes. For Whistler, we also thought the price was pretty reasonable given the location and room size. The only thing we’d like to see improved is the TV setup. It would be great if there were an easy way to stream Netflix, Prime, and other apps. Other than that, we had a great stay and would definitely use the Sundial again for a MTB trip.

Well, this hotel is absolutely awesome, and very reasonably priced!! I had a 1 bedroom suite on the third floor and was very fortunate to have a balcony overlooking the main square and gondola. I was right in the heart of everything. Staff were wonderful, room was cleaned to a very high standard every day, facilities were amazing (Sitting Area, Dining Area, Full Kitchen, Separate Bedroom, and a fantastic bathroom accessed either from the living area or the bedroom which would make it ideal if the room was shared and a couple were sleeping on the sofa bed). I can't fault this place at all. Absolutely fantastic..... And there's parking right under the hotel. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay!!

Carleton Lodge/Sundial was great. The room was nice, clean and AC kept the place pretty cool. The bike storage/valet system made me feel comfortable leaving my bike in a storage room. The cleaning/maintenance station was a nice perk as well.

Ned the valet guy was awesome!! His attitude his personality, totally awesome! Helped any way he could with a smile!!

Arrived in Whistler a few days before our cruise. Chose Whistler because FIFA was in Vancouver. Such a beautiful surprise. Hotel staff and hotel were fantastic! Village area had everything we needed or wanted.

Nice 2 bedroom hot tub suite in centrally located spot in village . Decor a Little dated but service and amenities were nice. No fitness center or pool but with so many recreation options not necessary. Decent food options in hotel as well

This hotel is hands-down the best hotel in Whistler. I’ve stayed here multiple times and the staff are amazing, the rooms are great, and the location is perfect. Highly recommend staying at this place.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bed mountain view room at the end of April which was perfect for us: the location is truly awesome with amazing views of the slopes from the living area, the rooms were a decent size and the unit had everything needed for a long-term stay. BUT the apt/room was too hot! It was set to about 71 degrees and we could not turn in down. It was freezing in Whistler during the night (and about 70 during the day) but I could not sleep with the heat. I tried opening windows but the noise from the pub was too loud so had to close. In the morning with the sun shining on lounge it felt even hotter - it ruined the experience of being there. Also, the girl who checked us in was so lovely but the man who checked us out was really curt and grumpy. The price we paid was not cheap in comparison to other options nearby so I would not give this place 5 stars. I would have given 4 if rooms had been cooler, or if you could control the thermostat in your room.

Love the Sundial! Our first trip back since covid. All staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful. Mountain view rooms overlook the chairlift, so always something to see. Rooms are clean, nice bedding, comfy furniture looking well used. Kitchen a bonus. We travelled with adult kids and toddler, our room was across the hall from them, perfect for lots of impromptu visits. Love the walk out and you are on the stroll. So easy to walk everywhere. Appreciated the hot and cold lobby treats.

The suite was clean and well stocked. The bed was REALLY comfortable! The room had blackout drapes to keep the sun out for sleeping in. The ladies at the front desk were nothing but helpful. The Location was central to restaurants and shopping. It was also convenient to hiking without having to drive. Park was underground ( check vehicle height restrictions )

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked into the lobby to checkout, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by Gemma, who was very welcoming, professional, and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, we had exceptional service, and the rooftop hot tub was a great surprise.

We stayed at Sundial Hotel for a weekend trip and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, and the mountain views are absolutely beautiful. The rooftop hot tub was amazing and one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Our suite was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with two separate rooms, a full kitchen, and a comfortable living area. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay in Whistler. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to others.

I was disappointed with my stay at Tantalus Resort Lodge. After checking out, I received a call informing me that I would be charged an additional $150 plus tax for carpet cleaning. The hotel sent me a photo showing only a very small candy spot left by a baby, which appeared to be easily removable with normal cleaning. I felt that the charge was excessive, unfair, and not justified by the condition shown in the photo. I would have appreciated better communication, clearer documentation, and a reasonable explanation before any extra charges were applied. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again and would encourage future guests to carefully review any additional charges after checkout.

We had a one bed suite. Everything. From staff engagement to cleanliness to the ability to cook. Perhaps close to one of the best hotels for facilities and location we have had the pleasure of staying in.
