Sehr zentral gelegen, man kann fußläufig in die Stadt oder mit öffentlichen fahren. Es gab einen Parkplatz für unser Auto, direkt vor der Tür. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und hatte ausreichend Platz und Ablageflächen. Gutes take away Frühstück

Got an upgrade, but the room was smelly and had very short beds. Changed back to the smaller originally booked room. Small breakfast room with ok. Selection ok, but not great.

Located in a quiet, upscale part of Dublin A block away from the DART train to downtown A block away from Aviva Stadium Free onsite parking, first come first serve; paid street parking is also right in front of the hotel with lots of open space Lovely large breakfasts, including gluten free and vegetarian Complimentary tea, coffee, and daily changing baked treats in the beautiful blue salon, as well as an honor bar Very attentive staff, 24/7

Bathroom was a bit tight and worn Parking spaces are relatively few compared to the number of rooms, and spaces are quite tight Those with mobility issues should know that a dozen-ish stairs into the hotel are inevitable and that a primary floor room should be negotiated in advance directly with the hotel to avoid additional stairs.

Train to city centre was just around the corner, two stops and you are in the city centre of Dublin.

Tiny rooms, which was I bet smaller than stated. Tiny tiny tiny bath room with toilet with very worn facilities. Breakfast room was also very tiny so, in case of crowd, you must wait to be seated.

The house is homely and welcoming. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was large and comfortable with everything we needed included.

The area and building are stunning and so convenient to access the public transport. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the accommodation was to a high standard. At breakfast there was a great choice and everything was clearly freshly cooked. Loved the relaxed sitting room and honesty bar.

Het was prima ontvangst, het personeel was super vriendelijk, behulpzaam en geïnteresserd. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, enorm veel keuze, traditioneel en ook eigentijds. De verbinding met de stad was optimaal door de nabijheid van de dart. Een aan te raden locatie.

Bellissima struttura in stile inglese, accogliente con salotto con bevande e cibo per il pomeriggio o sera, stanze molto curate e ampie, staff gentilissimo e disponibile, parcheggio privato, ottima colazione. La posizione è estremamente tranquilla, ci vuole 30 min a piedi per arrivare in centro oppure c'è il treno a pochi passi.

Quando l'albergo è pieno può esserci una lunga attesa per fare colazione, suggerisco come fanno altri hotel di segnare l'orario desiderato al check in.

Staff disponibile ad ogni ora. Struttura splendida con Drawning Room a disposizione con "coccole" incluse. Posizione splendida con centro raggiungibile a piedi in 20 minuti o con 3 fermate di Dart (stazione a 2 passi). Fiore all'occhiello della sistemazione la favolosa colazione. Già mancate!

Cleanliness was outstanding. Choice of breakfast and quality of food was outstanding. All staff were attentive, polite and efficient.

Our only downfall was the mattress was a little springy/ uncomfortable. As a family of four we could not fault Ariel house.

We really enjoyed our stay with Ariel house. The location is excellent, the house is beautiful and charming. We have two daughters who really loved the stay also. The staff were superb and very welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional and we would travel up from Tipp just for the breakfast !!

When we arrived, as were unable to park at the hotel. We could park on street which was great.

The fire alarm went off at approximately 430am Not one member of staff came to see if anyone was ok, or to tell us to go back into the building. We just sat and waited for ages.

The location was perfect for us: the train station is right next door, with Dublin center less than a 15 mn ride. Because it is not in the busy center, it is a very quiet neighborhood, where we could sleep with the windows open without any outside noise. Of course, there was no concert or sporting event in the arena next door that week :) Our bathroom was modern, spacious, and spotless. The staff was wonderful. Giuliana is the absolute best and is always there to help. She even took the time to check on our daughter who was "under the weather," and brought her extra bottled water. The other gentlemen at the reception were helpful as well: they ensured that our luggage was stored safely until our room was ready, and they came out to front stairs to check on us and make sure that our ride back to the airport was coming to fetch us. The young ladies tending to the breakfast room were impeccable. I saved the best for last: the BREAKFAST!!! What a luxury it felt to be waited on by the attentive staff, to be able to choose from an extensive and delicious menu every morning of our stay, to enjoy the extra fresh fruit and pastries, and to savor the many teas and coffees available. The hotel even prepared a takeaway breakfast for us the morning we were leaving very early on a bus tour. We were looking for a charming bed and breakfast with a more "worldly" feel, and this place was it for us. We appreciate the many individuals (visible or not) that make this establishment run smoothly through all the hard work they put in.

The halls downstairs and our room on the lowest floor were a little stuffy and warm after a "hot" (25C/80F) day this past June, but opening the windows helped keep us cool at night.

Lovely place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location to Aviva stadium and the RDS with great access to the Dart for travelling further in the city.

L'accès difficile aux prises électriques

Struttura molto bella ed elegante, sembra una vecchia casa storica. Camera spaziosa e pulita. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Il parcheggio privato mi sembra un po' piccolo e scomodo. Ditorni molto tranquilli con diversi ristoranti con varie fasce di prezzo. Con la Dart li vicino (tipo passante ferroviario) è molto facile e comodo raggiungere il centro di Dublino. Praticamente attaccato alla struttura c'è lo stadio (Aviva Stadium) non è idea di come possa essere la zona durante gli eventi allo stadio.

The welcome was very nice. They were busy at the desk, but we could wait in the reception and have cookies and lemonade. Beds were good. Bathroom was recently renovated and spotless. The breakfast is extensive with wonderfully pleasant servers.

Would highly recommend the Ariel House Hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Fabulous room, fantastic breakfast. Dart station on your door step. Would certainly stay here again.

Mooi, comfortabel centraal hotel om de stad Dublin te bezoeken dat makkelijk te bereiken is met het openbaar vervoer (Dart trein of bus). Uitstekend ontbijt en supervriendelijk personeel.

It’s in a perfect location! Very close to the Dart (train) or you can walk into the centre in about 20 minutes. It’s a gorgeous property, beautifully decorated and the staff on reception are very helpful and always gave a warm greeting. The addition of the sitting room with games, tea, coffee, cakes, alcohol etc is a lovely touch and we thoroughly enjoyed having somewhere else to relax that wasn’t in the room. We will definitely be recommending it to friends and family who come to stay in Dublin!

- There wasn’t anywhere in the bathroom to have your toiletries or put anything down. - The breakfast- let me firstly say that on the whole we really did enjoy it! A great section was on offer. The soda bread was especially delicious. However, we were slightly let down by the breakfast on a couple of occasions. The ‘main’ comes out before you’ve finished your porridge or granola and that seemed to happen with everyone, so we ended up not ordering that because you could never finish it before your main arrived. Then, on our last day our orders came out wrong (which is fine accidents happen!) but then mine came out wrong a second time to which I just gave up and ate what I had been given. I own my own Cafe and I’m aware that mistakes happen believe me, but I was let down by the waitress not apologising or checking in to see how it was after- the service was not good on that occasion but other mornings the staff were great!

We spent four days in Ballsbridge helping our son move after living in Dublin for nearly five years (and in Ballsbridge for the last two). During our visits over the years, we've stayed at several different places in the area. My only regret is that we didn't discover Ariel House sooner! Everything about our stay was exceptional—the staff, the accommodations, the breakfast, the afternoon tea, the beautiful drawing room, and, of course, the location. It's just a two-minute walk from Lansdowne Road DART Station and right next to Aviva Stadium, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Dublin. Ironically, the price was probably the reason we had never considered booking a B&B directly before. That turned out to be a mistake. After leaving Dublin, we helped our son move to London and stayed in an Airbnb that had none of Ariel House's charm—no breakfast, no afternoon tea, no welcoming staff, no inviting common spaces—and it cost more than 60% per night than our stay at Ariel House! We're also so glad we booked directly with Ariel House rather than through a third-party site. From start to finish, the experience couldn't have been better. One unexpected bonus was getting to meet and chat with several other guests, which added even more warmth to our stay. If you're planning a visit to Dublin—especially if you're staying in Ballsbridge—make Ariel House your first choice. We couldn't recommend it more highly, and we'll certainly be back.

Location and proximity to stadium for concert and Lansdowne Road station. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Tea/coffee facilities in lounge, excellent breakfast service with a varied menu and food freshly made to order.

Bathroom in room was in need of refurbishment. Very small and tight to manoeuvre even as a petite person and out of proportion in comparison to size of room. Shower / wet room would be better use of space. Due to historic nature of building, the accommodation is unfortunately not accessible for those with mobility needs. High volume of stairs to enter and to reach rooms.

Warm and welcoming staff, so friendly. Fabulous lounge area with the best lemonade and lemon cake. Rooms are fab, breakfast is top class, up there with 5 star hotels I have stayed in. An all round wonderful place. The staff went above and beyond to help me park my car and get it out again. This is an absolute hidden gem in Dublin that I would absolutely 100% recommend.

I loved the location. Quietly tucked away from the tourist areas. Restaurants and groceries near by. The rooms were very clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was nice with choice from set menu. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and can’t fault it but it didn’t wow us like some of the reviews.

The room was stuffy with no fan or air conditioning. However we were able to request a fan. Bathrooms a bit dated. WiFi in our room was a little slow

We had a wonderful stay at Ariel House. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The location is perfect, within walking distance of great coffee shops, restaurants, shops, and the DART, making it easy to explore. Breakfast was outstanding, with delicious food served in the beautiful conservatory. The complimentary afternoon tea selection was a lovely touch and much appreciated after a day of sightseeing. A fantastic place to stay with warm hospitality.
