Enjoyed a one night stay in this hotel in Rocky Mountain House.

Clean. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast

Excellent breakfast, really it is! The ladies working the room were amazing.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, no long waits at all. Our room was nice and clean, no complaints. Hotel was fully booked but was still quiet at night and fairly in the mornings. Complementary breakfast was great, lots of choices. For the price I’d definitely stay again at the Rocky Mountain House Canalta.

We stayed a few times now at Canalta in Rocky Mountain House and it is always a pleasant experience. The staff is very nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

breakfast was excellent. The staff supervising breakfast was wonderful! pool area is clean & the kids had a lot of fun. Ground floor rooms have direct access to outside - two entrances. A/C worked very well. Showers are good. Hotel is clean. Would suggest in family suites tossing in an extra luggage rack.

The water slide is a dark tunnel & extremely fast - not very kid younger kid friendly. Difficult to enjoy the pool & stay out of the way of the people being torpedoed out of the waterslide. We were in a family suite - would be nice to have one queen bed & two doubles vs three doubles. Bathtub/shower is extremely tall - only an issue if you have short legs.

I was blown away by the customer service I had when I first arrived. They were wonderful throughout my stay and I was quite pleased.

The outdoor fireplace was amazing! Such a nice touch and a great day to wind down in the evening. Hot tub and pool was great as well. The water slide was really fast - nearly died on it or I'm getting old. Beds are super comfortable. And it was really nice to have good quality body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the suite.

Breakfast selection and availability could be better. The hot breakfast was pretty limited and the yogurt machine was also not working. However, there was a big group of school kids before us so we understood why there wasn't much leftover.

Everything was fine. Room large and comfy. Parking right outside the external door of the room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Jasmin from reception was great!! Thank you lovely Jasmin. We wormly recommend the hotel. Great value for the the very reasonable price.

Could be more choices in breakfast but it was ok anyway

All of the staff were super friendly and attentive. From front desk to the breakfast attendant and the housekeeper, everyone was lovely. The room was comfortable and clean.

I've stayed here three years in a row, around Canada Day. The first year it was awesome, we loved it. Then last year it was ok, the beds were getting worn and the breakfast wasn't good at all (eggs from a carton, potatoes half cooked, no meats). This year though the hotel is really starting to show its age. The pool area has paint or something literally hanging off the ceiling right above the pool. We were on the second floor and could hear EVERYTHING, we didn't have a good sleep at all. The floors are wood and it sounded like we were being invaded by vikings or something, it was so loud. I wanted to make this a yearly visit but after this year I think we'll try going elsewhere. The only awesome things from this year was that we had the pool to ourselves for almost 2 hours around suppertime

Breakfast area is small and a little chaotic with everyone grabbing breakfast at same time.

It was quiet, check in was fast and smooth (especially appreciate it since we were checking in at 1:30ish am)

We truly enjoyed our stay at Canalta. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff were outstanding, attentive and friendly. Tims and Boston pizza nearby. Will look to stay here again.

This is one of the best “stays” on the map! The staff from the management, the desk staff and the breakfast servers could not have been more helpful and nice. They seemed like a welcoming family. We were 4 senior ladies travelling and on arrival our baggage was delivered to our room, followed by offers to help in any other way. We texted a request for additional chair and toiletries. The response was immediate. The breakfast was terrific with china cups and plates. No disposables here! The meal was complete with eggs, waffles, yogurt, bacon,sausage, potatoes, and more.

We had a wonderful stay at the Canalta Hotel! My kids and partner loved the pool and waterslide, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The breakfast was excellent with lots of options. I have Celiac Disease, and I really appreciated the separate gluten-free toaster, gluten-free bread, and packaged items that made me feel safe eating there. A special thank you to Finn and Janice in the breakfast area, they were so kind, helpful, and kept everything spotless. All the staff were very friendly, and we truly enjoyed our stay!

This is a perfect place for families. The pool was great and the kids loved the water slide and spent most of their time in the pool. The breakfast was better than any place that I had been that includes a breakfast. I was surprised at the variety of food plus the fact that they cook waffles fresh while you wait for them! As for the rooms they were very clean and adequate for our needs. We will come again to this hotel, and even without the kids, we enjoy the pool and hot tub. As well, a restaurant is a very short walk away.

Everything good except cleaning ladies start way too early. 5:00 AM every morning (maybe because my room #322 is right beside cleaning room?) Cleaning carts, garbage bags rattling, conversations, laughing, etc. Are hotel clientele checking out at 5 AM? Maybe some but I suggest the majority probably not. Thanks for reading -Mark

Refused my booking.com res. Because I use a visa debit. No deposit allowed. My a senior, my son is 35. Apparently a high risk to their over priced hotel. We found much better, friendlier and welcoming accommodations nearby, ended up stating 2 days instead of 1. Your policies suck. That's a first for me.

Overall our stay was pleasant. The staff were very friendly and caring. The lady in the breakfast room was exceptional, she brought us our waffles when they were done. She also showed a good rapport with the oilfield night crew who were late getting back for site and made the feel welcome. Our kids loved the pool and especially having the slide.

We found both rooms that we had booked, had a stale atmosphere to the room when we first walked in, even though their was air circulation in it. It almost seemed like it was a smoking room at one point but wasn't thoroughly cleaned. But that is just our impression, other than that the hotel was pretty clean in general.

Family really enjoyed the time at Canalta in the pool and waterslide. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Had a great time! Thank you!

Early cleanning of the above floor woke us up in ealy morning before 7 am. We really wanted to be rested well for that day but didn't worked out well. I provided the feedback to front desk but she mentioned that how we operate and cleaners can clean as soon as 5 am. I think, its not fair for guests.

I might’ve missed it cause I was exhausted, but better signage to find the elevator or the rooms. The room numbers get weird in places too.

Everything was wonderful, felt very at ease.

The staff member who checked me in just coming in on her shift I believe. Didn’t explain things very well for checking in. I followed the instructions that were given, which didn’t make sense given my previous experiences( after double checking what was asked) But I followed them and it turned out they weren’t right and then I was made to feel stupid and incredibly judged for their mistake.

Stayed here after our wedding just as a place to crash our heads! Room was clean, beds were comfortable breakfast was delicious and being able to have a pet friendly room was a huge bonus for us!

I really enjoyed the pet friendly accomodations with separate entrances , it made it very easy to enter and exit without disturbing other guests . The staff , super nice , just amazing. A very well run establishment.
