La Clave Hostel

Miraflores es un sector tranquilo de Medellín, con facilidades urbanas a pocos metros: línea de transporte público, bibliotecas, retails, parques, restaurantes y la plaza de mercado Galeria Alameda. Resulta ser el sector la suma de construcciones hechas en el siglo XX para sedes consulares, tratándose de casas que se explican así por lo espaciosas, con numerosas habitaciones y espacios a su interior. La seguridad se la brindan los propios vecinos con vigilantes por sectores. Mirafolores es un lugar ideal para hospedarse.

A localização é boa. Há mercados e farmácias por perto e os pontos turísticos são relativamente próximos. O café da manhã é preparado com carinho e é muito saboroso.

Todo, el lugar es hermoso, con sus instalaciones, cerca del parque artesanal, y a 15;min del barrio san antonio, , la dueña muy amable, atenta, hasta me ayudo para preparar el desayuno, y la toalla,

El chico voluntario que estuvo presente ese día, quien posteriormente se marchó del hostel, fue muy amable.

El lugar no transmite la atmósfera genuina que uno esperaría de un espacio frecuentado por backpackers o viajeros, sino más bien de personas buscando emigrar. En cuanto al descanso, considero fundamental el respeto por el silencio durante la madrugada. Lamentablemente, esto no se cumplió, ya que hubo conversaciones durante toda la noche sin consideración hacia los demás huéspedes. Respecto a las instalaciones, la cama era incómoda debido al estado del colchón, (estaba bastante hundido) y la litera sonaba bastante con los movimientos de la otra persona. Los baños evidencian falta de mantenimiento, presentándose en condiciones poco adecuadas. Asimismo, la cocina cuenta con un equipamiento muy básico y en mal estado. En cuanto al servicio, la interacción con el personal se percibe más enfocada en el control que en la hospitalidad, con insistencia en los pagos y restricciones en el uso de las áreas comunes después del check-out. En conjunto, no es un lugar recomendable para quienes buscan descanso ni para quienes desean conectar con otros viajeros. Tras cinco años viajando, es la primera vez que un lugar no logra brindarme una sensación de comodidad y hospitalidad real. No me volvería a alojar.

Fui muito bem recebida, a anfitriã é realmente muito legal, tem café (líquido) grátis pela manhã, a internet é boa, o serviço de lavanderia muito bom. Gostei muito do terraço também.

Lo que no me gustó fue el colchón y la almohada que eran incómodos y tenían una funda o nylon y cuando te movías hacía mucho ruido, muchas veces cuando llegas antes del check in y tienen tu cama limpia te dejan entrar antes, aquí tienes que pagar 👎

Very friendly.

Staff was kind ,i arrived at 1am and was welcomed . Had a beer and got to bed ! Really nice balcony with view and great light in the room in the morning.

The room was spacious for a dorm room to begin with. The cupboard for the luggage was pretty useful for the luggage. The room was pretty clean in hostel standard. The shower water temperature was very comfortable for me and easy to use. Location was pretty safe and convenient for my liking.

There is no free breakfast that is stated in the Booking. Free coffee is no use to me as I cannot drink coffee due to gastritis.

Es un lugar bueno pa gente sucia … uso mucho esta aplicación y es la primera vez que me doy una más referencia negativa … los baños horribles … había bichos en las camas…ruidos … la gente que vive ahí no habla … grita … todo el tiempo olor a Marihuana … entiendan no todos los colombianos aplaudimos el consumo de droga por nacionales o extranjeros … Los hoteles son para descansar lo que estamos de viaje … y literalmente no podías dormir …

Llegué a casa y me tocó ir al médico de urgencia porque llegué con alergia en la piel … ronchas rojas en todo el cuerpo … en este momento estoy tomado medicamentos… voy a compartir fotos de mi cuerpo para vean que no miento … de hecho es bueno que booking me responda por mi salud.

La ubicacion

El alojamiento podría mejorar en aspectos de limpieza y mantenimiento. Los colchones no estaban en las mejores condiciones y se observaban insectos. Además, había bastante ruido y algunos olores desagradables. En general, parece un lugar más adecuado para quienes buscan un ambiente de fiesta que para quienes desean descansar

Excelente ubicación

Tout est parfait, une vue magnifique de la ville sur la terrasse, cuisine bien équipée, quartier calme et sympa, proche des sites à visiter. On est parti 2j à pance et on a pu laissé nos gros sacs. Merci. Un Excellent rapport qualité prix.

La bagagerie est un service payant.... Ça reste pas cher.

Se dañó mi ventilador y el calor era difícil, y el servicio de bebidas no es 24 horas y no es fácil conseguir cerca en la calle

La ubicación y el chico de la recepción fue muy amable. En líneas generales está ok.

La cama no era cómoda y nunca pude tomar una ducha caliente en tres días que estuve. Creo que le falta un poco más de atención y mantenimiento.

Me encantó la atención, te hacen sentir como en casa, sobre todo si viajas solo es buenisimo.

La anfitriona

It's a hostel with 3 bathrooms/toilets for guests to use and that's a huge plus. There's a great terrace with comfy seating, this overlooks the city, nice especially when evening lights are turned on. My room is spacious with fans to allay the heat if needed, and the sheets are clean. Brewed coffee is available free. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is a bit out of the way. It also necessitates an uphill walk. Having said that, it's near a number of good eateries, bakeries and groceries. The fancier cosy restaurants are not far away. There were some men around this barrio that made me uncomfortable and I wouldn't want to be out at night alone. However, that's Cali for the time being, a mixture of interesting culture and a sniff of danger in the streets.

Not much people Sweet owner Not very clean

This hostel was one of my favourites so far in South America, Monica and Pedro were so friendly and helpful and made me feel completely at home. The hostel has various shares spaces including a roof terrace so it's good for meeting people of just relaxing by yourself or whatever you feel like. The location is great too, it's in a quiet and safe neighbourhood (although you always need to take care in Cali), about a 5 minute walk from lots of places to eat and drink and about a 10 or 15 mins walk from San Antonio.

Good and safe location, Monica is very friendly. The shared bathroom with hot water was clean. The breakfast was fresh and nice (eggs, arepa, fruit, juice and coffee). Good WiFi and we were able to leave our luggage for free before and after check in.

The hostel has a lovely, cozy atmosphere thanks to Monica, who is the owner and who manages everything on her own (I don't know when this woman sleeps and if she actually does it :)) The building itself is just perfect for being a hostel: lots of space, and a beautiful terrace with a nice view. The toilets are always extremely clean and the mattress is comfy.

The private room was kind of uncomfortable, window just to the corridor and accoustically not really shielded. The owner is ok, but dont expect the most friendly warm welcoming from her.

Monica did a great job and she helped me with anything I needed. She was very friendly, welcoming and her service was superb! The property is well located, near San Antonio area and close to the center as well.

No air-con. Only fan which means will be a bit hot during night. The guy at reception is so nice !

I really liked the place. It was cozy and very clean. Monica ia a really nice person, once I wanted to stay longer, but it was occupied, so she tried everything to get to know, if the guests actually coming, so I could stay.

Es war alles super!

The best thing about the hostel is the owner Monica, she is very friendly, caring and creates a personal and warm environment. The rooms are basic, a bit hot but it's Cali and it's hot anywhere. 24/7 reception worked perfectly fine. I felt very comfortable and would recommend it.

Cold shower

The people! Monica is amazing, and the other people staying there were good to hang out with. The breakfast she makes is very good! Eggs (fried or scrambled), an arepa, fruit, coffee, juice. Beautiful view from the terrace.

The room was different from the pictures. It was uncomfortable to have to ask Monica for everything we needed: breakfast (a couple times she wasn't there so I had to ask her to come), opening the door at night (you have to wake her up for that).

Rooftop is nice, Monica the owner is amazing and very attentive, hostel is clean, great lounge area for people to meet, price was great, oh and I would stay again. Wifi worked great.

Location not the best…

La clave hostel is all about Monica the host. She is the best host I have met in my backpackers life. Always smiling, helpful, and available at all time even in the night to open the door to party people. She prepare a very good breakfast till 12 and she is a shining beautiful heart. The hostel is also very nice with nice rooftop, kitchen it’s very clean and in a very safe and good neighbourhood. You have to go there just meet monica and enjoy a beer on the rooftop.

We had to leave too soon and not see monica anymore. The pillow could be better but do the job.

La chambre réservée, n’était pas disponible on nous en a donné une autre avec la vitre cassée ( manque un quart ), une tv que l’on ne pouvait pas utilisé ni même un miroir ou une poubelle, soit disant 4salles de bains pour les clients mais seulement 2 accessible et souvent occupées. Un gros soucis sur la propreté qui laissait plus qu’à désiré. Nous avions pris la formule avec petit déjeuner qui ne nous à été refusé à 9h15 alors qu’il servait jusqu’à 9h30 et ils ont eu même l’audace de se faire leur petit déjeuner devant nous. Aucun effort commercial n’a été fait pour régler le soucis. Je souligne un manque de professionnalisme et de politesse de la part de l’équipe de l’hostal. Pour conclure je ne recommande en aucun cas cette établissement qui ne se préoccupe pas du tout de ces clients.
