We had a wonderful stay at Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort. The customer service was outstanding, especially at the reception and concierge, where the staff was always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The accommodations were excellent. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beach is absolutely breathtaking, and the quality of the beach beds and umbrellas makes it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean. There are, however, a few areas that could make this resort even better. Breakfast currently begins at 8:30 a.m., which is too late for guests leaving early for tours or day trips. A 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. start would be much more convenient. Additionally, the breakfast selection should showcase more authentic Spanish cuisine rather than focusing primarily on a standard continental breakfast. One of the greatest pleasures of vacationing in Spain is enjoying its incredible food. The restaurant menu could also be improved by offering more traditional Spanish dishes instead of emphasizing pizza, hamburgers, and chicken wings. The limited menu often encourages guests to dine elsewhere in the evenings. Adding room service would also be a valuable enhancement. Finally, the resort would benefit from beach bar service, more entertainment throughout the day and evening, and a livelier atmosphere with music and activities that appeal to younger guests. At times, the resort feels geared primarily toward older visitors. Overall, despite these suggestions, we had an excellent stay. The outstanding service, beautiful accommodations, and spectacular beachfront location make this a resort we would gladly recommend and visit again.

We rented a 3 bedroom apartment for a 4 night stay in June of 2026 at Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort. While we enjoyed our stay, I would not return to or recommend this property. Although this may be a higher quality resort in southern Spain, for the price it falls far short of expectations in so many little ways when compared again other beach destinations. If staying here, I would highly suggest renting/parking a car because your food options, while of good quality, are limited and quite overpriced. The apartment was large with a very comfortable living space but is clearly showing its age and comes very poorly equipped. The beds are very firm and the pillows were quite uncomfortable, resulting in sub-par sleep. We were also disappointed with the in-room coffee which tasted terrible. We visiting the hotel market instead to only be able to get coffee or espresso from a machine. Beach towels must be brought down from the room and are not regularly cleaned/washed. The property grounds include numerous activities and are very well maintained. In addition to the main pool, they have a football/basketball cage, ping-pong tables, indoor swimming, and other amenities which are very nice! Unfortunately, our family was place in a room overlooking the adults-only quiet pool on the far side of the property so it was a good walk to do anything. Access to the units comes via the exterior of the property along the road. Also, at night they close off half the property so you need to walk an extra 10 minutes just to access the beach (only one access point after-hours). While not a huge deal, I would much rather be spending the time ON the beach rather than navigating around the hotel's pool barriers. The beach outside the property is nice but quite rocky once in the ocean. The waves are small and you must pay to rent beach chairs. After traveling throughout Spain for 2 weeks prior we expected a lot more from these accommodations given the high cost.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary resort at this property with our children and their spouses. We chose this resort because of all the properties we have stayed at over the years, this was our favorite.

Unfortunately We were only there for 2 nights but really wish it was for longer, as such a lovely hotel and our apartment was beautiful.. We loved the location too and straight onto the beach and felt secure there too. We had an amazing stay. Thank you.

Staff were a little disorganised at check-in and made what should’ve been a seamless process very complicated. I had 3 rooms booked (all under my name) and they made it extremely difficult to check-in.

30 minutes in the taxi~! It's high quality at the resort, so the rooms are luxury and well equipped. Everywhere onsite is within walking distance and the grounds are lovely. There are two supermarkets within walking distance, and then a series of lovely restaurants over the motorway bridge.

The resort is beautiful but lacks many things. Pros: lush grounds, nice two bedroom apartments that are spacious, great air conditioning, staff is friendly, they replenish towels daily, pretty beach, awesome pools, beachside cabana has the best food options, typical Marriott daily activities Cons: furniture is cheap and in need of repair or replacement, second bedroom is very small, inadequate dining options, they give you two coffees and then you have to buy it at the market, the resort is a long way from everything, there is really only 1 restaurant open at night for dinner on property, check in takes forever, the 1 restaurant is very small and the master bathroom has no door just a six foot opening to the bedroom so no privacy when showering etc

Spotless apartment and gardens .Good location. A short walk or drive to local shops ,supermarket and cafés/restaurants. Couple of mins walk to beachfront .Hotel guests get discounts at the nearby restaurants .Staff always on hand and knowledgeable about places to visit in the area .Would definitely like to return .

Too many children in the outdoor jacuzzis .There is one adults only indoor pool and jacuzzi and one adults only quiet outdoor pool but spotted 3 outdoor jacuzzis always with children in .

This is my 10th time staying at the Mariott and it never disappoints. The staff are so warm and welcoming. It was my daughter's birthday and they left a gift and beautiful card in the room for her. We also requested a late check out and were allowed use the facilities until our departure as we had a late flight.

Everything else was fantastic. Great facilities.

It was quite expensive within the resort and I would have preferred to have more bars and restaurants closeby.

Our first time at a Marriott Vacation Club and we would definitely do it again and wish we had found this accommodation type sooner. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, from the welcome by the security guard all the way through every area of the hotel. We loved having the space of a 2 bedroom apartment with balcony, lounge, dining area and kitchen. We didn’t cook but liked the fridge and home comforts. I guess we had a newly renovated unit as the soft furnishings were all spotless. I’ve added some photos as couldn’t find any renovated rooms online. The wardrobes and bathrooms all still need work but that didn’t detract from our stay. Positives (there’s loads) -Space -Black out blinds that work -Utility room with washer, dryer, ironing board etc -Daily housekeeping, like a hotel -Buffet breakfast onsite with a 20% discount for guests, we did this daily (fresh made omelettes, lots of choice and good coffee/pastries) -Outdoor pool was a great space, too cold in April but an indoor pool as an easy back up -Direct access to the beach with the best sunsets -Activities / entertainment available daily, we did a few things like badminton, shuffleboard, giant chess, bingo all were great -The whole place is pristine, constant cleaning throughout the week -The gardens are lovely, so well looked after and beautiful planting -Restaurants are good. El Med one night and Charlie’s another. Otherwise we went to local places a 5min drive or 20min walk. Negatives (very few) Onsite market is expensive but ok for back up (2 supermarkets close by) Time share selling. We were called daily on my mobile and unit phone which we ignored so they started leaving written messages. We just ignored and they stopped.

Charlie’s Bar could be less like a canteen and more like a pub. The staff, however, were very efficient and friendly.

This hotel is very convenient due to its proximity to Málaga, as well as the facilities inside the hotel and rooms. The kitchen is especially very helpful. Since in Málaga the food is quite expensive and the quality is lower compared to Barcelona and Madrid, having a kitchen makes a big difference. We also stayed here last year, but this year the hotel service was much better, and the bathrooms in the rooms were cleaner.

The hallways were dirty, and there was no good restaurant in the hotel where you could spend the evenings without going out .The supermarket inside the hotel was also expensive.

What can you say that has not been said already,Absolutely perfect stay, beautiful resort in a perfect location for everything along the Costa Del Sol.Enjoyed that much that we have booked to back same time next year.See you next year guys.

The rooms are new and super clean, the bar on site has everything you expect with the local's courtesy and it's a very pleasant resort with all the amenities and the construction design. If you are going to Marbella, Spain this is definitely the place you want to stay. Minutes away from all the local attractions and their staff is very helpful. Going back definitely!

We have been coming here for many years and although it is still lovely it is not as good as it used to be. The attention to detail is not as it was and feel some of the marriott vacation club standards has slipped a little. I would like to highlight some of the staff that go above and beyond every year and really do deserve the recognition. In particular Lemon (Jose) is always a stand out when we come here. He is helpful, friendly, dedicated, genuine and is a great ambassador for the Marriott Vacation Club, we think others could really learn a great deal from him. This year we had our first experience of the kids club and the staff in there are fabulous. We are hopeful that some of the elements which have gone downhill will improve following feedback sent to management

I stayed at Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort from March 19 to 24, 2026 with my husband. We had also stayed at this resort for 14 days in February 2025, so we were able to compare our experiences. This year, I’m happy to say that all the weaknesses we noticed last year have been improved. The floors were clean, the bathroom and shower were spotless, and the daily housekeeping service was much better than before. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and the facilities are very convenient and accessible for guests. The heated pool is especially enjoyable during the cooler winter and spring weather. Overall, I personally recommend this hotel and would like to thank the management and staff for their excellent service.

The resort should have a golf cart or something to transport folks (some very senior) down the long road to the local bus stop. And have shuttle service to the local super market. Its quite the walk from the hotel. Yes Uber and Bolt available for those that don't won't to rent but it add up to quickly in cost.

Congratulations to the team at this luxury resort. They’ve really got it worked out. Great staff / good food and beverage outlets and they look after you well. Two caveats : some apartments starting to look rather tired and that must be looked after and rather pushy sales team trying to sell an “ownership “

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort itself is beautiful—immaculately maintained gardens, direct access to the beach, and spacious apartments that were perfect for a family stay. The villa was spotless, very comfortable, and well-equipped, which made it feel like a home away from home rather than just a hotel room. What truly made the experience special was the atmosphere. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make sure guests felt taken care of. Traveling with family can sometimes be hectic, but the resort is so well organized that everything felt easy and relaxed. The pools and outdoor areas were fantastic, and the kids loved having space to swim and play while we could also unwind. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the beachfront setting makes evening walks along the sea a highlight of the day. Overall, it was the perfect combination of comfort, location, and service. We created great family memories here and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly stay in Marbella.

I stayed at this hotel as a midway stopover for one night between a day in Gibraltar on one side and a morning flight out of Malaga on the other. It was a convenient stop. The hotel was quiet as it was out of season. It was a bit of a walk from reception to my two-bed apartment and not easy to find it in the dark but when I got in I found it clean and comfortable. I didn’t take advantage of the facilities - unfortunately - but found the staff courteous and helpful also for a non-holidaymaker like I was.

The staff was exceptional, professional and incredibly helpful. Despite it being the off-season, the pools were accessible and the Marketplace was a fantastic resource, very well-stocked and convenient. The apartments are massive and the kitchen is top-tier; it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

During the off-season, dining options were limited as only one restaurant seemed to be effectively open. It felt quite formal inside, which didn't make it an ideal choice for a family with children. Additionally, there is a lack of traditional outdoor playgrounds for kids, and the location, while peaceful, felt quite remote and isolated.

Fantastic few days stay at Marriott resort Feb26. Everything was spotless and grounds so well maintained. Fantastic range of activities (with lots of equipment to use at them) for the kids and two indoor pools was a bonus. Outdoor pool isn't heating but hot tub beside it provided heat needed! Apartments well stocked with essential items including pool towels and daily cleaning also. We will definitely be back We were allocated an apartment overlooking the beach and beautiful sunsets so would request same apartment again

Everything is perfect.

We had a very relaxing stay, everything was spotless and the grounds were immaculate. The beach was nice with clear sea. We used the takeaway option from Charlie’s bar and went to the poolside chill bar regularly which had nice food and good drinks options. Tony’s which was a short walk to the right as you go out onto the beach was another good dining option. The sunsets were spectacular! The staff were all so kind and helpful. We would stay again and if you’re thinking of going, just book it!

This is extremely inconvenient, especially for families or travelers arriving late. No one helps with luggage, which is unacceptable for a hotel that claims to provide full service. The swimming pools were closed with very limited alternatives, and this was never communicated before booking. Had we known this in advance, we would not have chosen this hotel. Overall, the experience was misleading, disappointing, and poorly managed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting basic hospitality standards.

The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to go to the marketplace for fresh bread, breakfast croissants etc for breakfast. The games for the children, shuffle, chess, golf putting was brilliant too.

It has been updated. Nice menu would be good to have a daily menu. The pool menu was missing some standard favourites burger and Caesar salad and green salad.

The apartments were so spacious, the beds were super comfy, the staff were amazing and accommodating to basically every change you request. The location was sublime, right on the beach. The restaurant was great and the staff there were great too. Kids club was beautiful bonus touch and the differing options for kids!

Would have loved to be put in rooms on higher floors with maybe a sea view - especially given I booked very early but all good nonetheless
