Beautiful hotel, loved the location and our view of the ocean. Room temperature was perfect and service was excellent.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but fine.
The girl working valet
Room and bathroom were dirty. Absolutely unacceptable for today’s rates
View,location,
Sink was clogged. We were expecting a microwave and there was none.
Paying an additional $30.00 a night for parking
The balcony views were simply amazing!
Nothing
I like how the staff was very attentive and nice. Love that they gave us a room on the 12th floor
I didn't like that the tub was clogged up and it was filling up while I was showering. It disgusted me a little bit.
Great
Another trashcan and trashcan liners would help with wet drinks or ice
It’s beautiful , clean and friendly

My room wasn't cleaned when I arrived, and when I asked for them to clean they did not come in not once at all

Customer service was great from the second we walked in . Our view was amazing.
Repblic of Texas BBQと2階のカフェテリアでとても親切な接客を受け、歓迎されているように感じた。店員さんはフレンドリーで、細やかな気遣いができ、子連れでも心置きなく食事を楽しめた。
Not an average Omni experience. Very rundown hotel but the staff is great. The rooms are small, the furniture is old and torn, the bathrooms a little moldy. But the staff is amazing, so helpful and nice. The bartenders remember your name. The steak in the top floor restaurant is AMAZING.
Omni in Corpus Christi, Texas I will never book a room there. Was a basic room you can get at a marrot and probably cheaper and other amenities as well. At least they offer free parking. Ridiculous if you ask me.
Layout was nice Parking lot attached to the building
Bathroom door hits toilet and door swings the wrong way, always have to go around it. No microwave in the room. Charge each night to park my car The bar on the 2nd floor sucks Out on the balcony was noisy equipment running constantly across the street Breakfast way too pricey.

Our concern, was lack of bar service. Waited 1 hour to be served. Was told that we would have a room facing the ocean and we were not fully accommodated. We went there for our 49th wedding anniversary and feel like we were not fully accommodating. We were also not informed on why an additional $100 on our bill with no explanation.
First of things first, the Hotel, Hotel location, staff and service are all 5 star rating. The low score is for the parking garage security since my truck was broken into and priceless goods were stolen. Theft can happen anywhere just did not expect it to happen in an establishment like the Omni Hotel.
Beautiful property, nice views and great staff

Front desk was helpful. Bar was OK.
1. Sink did not drain well. This happened the last time I stayed here in Corpus Omni. 2. Bellmen would not let us barrow the dolly to move our heavy luggage. We were perfectly capable and didt't want to feel obligated to give them a tip. 3. Republic bar does not serve carnitas any longer. 4. I had problems with the automatic gate in the garage. Had the same problem twice. It is automated, but it is stupid.
My husband and I stayed for several days. The staff was very friendly and attentive, especially the valet attendants. The rooms were clean and the bed were comfortable. The view from my room was a great view of the bay. During the weekend nights, there were sometimes noises from the locals at that bay, but not overwhelming. It was my birthday weekend and the staff sent me a birthday platter with chocolate treats. That was very thoughtful. There were allot of visitors on this weekend and there was a line to check in, but it moved quickly. My overall stay was very good. I'll visit again.
Der Pool, die Bar, das Zimmer ( Ausblick) die Lage
Das Bad war nicht so sauber wie Mann es sich Wünscht. Sehr viel Staub und das Klo war richtig dreckig .
I love that after I booked my room I got a email from you guys welcoming me and looking forward in seeing us I felt appreciated and the staff are amazing I felt soo welcome I highly recommend this place so comfortable and a perfect stop to walk everything near by....you guys are the BEST
I love the hot tub just wish it was bigger and was a Lil bothered that check in is at 4 but yet I got a room at 6 pm lost 2 hrs of enjoyment of my stay in hotel 😔
It was for my Son’s 11th Birthday really enjoyed how they made him feel giving him a travel bag with stuff inside and delivered chocolate desert to my room for while we were out so he was surprised and loved it. Overall wonderful stay near the beach high up overlooking the Beach which he really loved every morning going out into the balcony to see the sunrise overlooking the beach.
AC unit was very noisy hard trying to get to sleep. Top dresser drawer would not stay closed was annoying.
Right by the water. Convenient to waterfront activities and restaurants.
Construction going on in the building across the street with 2 very large and very noisy a/c units across running 24/7.
Close to beach and restaurants.
Enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and exercise facility.
The location and the staff and the lobby!
Late check in because they were backed up and the lobby was chaotic. Rooms could use updating.
The staff was great. We chose valet parking and the attendants were great. The hotel was clean. The view from our room was beautiful and the location was great. It was my birthday weekend and the staff sent a birthday tray to my room with tasty treats. That was very thoughtful. But all and all, we had a great stay.
The line to check in was long, but it moved quickly. It was peak season so the pool was crowded. The valet parking can be costly, but I felt it was worth it.
We recently stayed at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel for an end-of-summer trip, and while we were looking forward to a wonderful four-star experience, the stay unfortunately fell significantly short of expectations. To highlight the positives first: the valet team was wonderful and truly lived up to the Omni standard, and the view from the property was spectacular. Sadly, the rest of our experience was lackluster, subpar, and left us feeling genuinely unwelcome—so much so that the service felt more akin to a budget motel. We encountered several frustrating issues throughout our stay: Check-In and Package Friction: It took 30 minutes just to check in, only to be handed off without assistance regarding our Seaside Experience package. The local ambassador was completely unfamiliar with the package, made us feel like an inconvenience, and insisted our room and credit were a mistake that required calling corporate. Communication and Amenities: Front desk messaging took hours to receive a response. Simple requests, like body lotion, took hours to arrive, and our welcome amenity didn't arrive until Sunday after a Friday check-in. Housekeeping: Housekeeping was notably lackluster. We returned to a half-cleaned room with a decorative pillow thrown on the floor against the curtains, and used towels were removed without being replenished. Rationing towels at a four-star property is unacceptable. Dining: Despite requesting a window-seat reservation for brunch and seeing open window tables during our entire time there, we were seated elsewhere each and every time. When looking for in-room dessert options for my son, front desk messaging provided only unhelpful, generic automated responses pointing back to a menu that lacked them. Wellness & Atmosphere: I had originally looked forward to booking services at the Nomad Salon, but given the poor service experienced throughout the property, I ultimately booked in town instead to avoid further disappointment. With the sole exception of the valet, the general staff attitude made us feel unwelcome. For a four-star hotel carrying the Omni name, this level of service was deeply disappointing. We expected so much more.
I stayed here for a work conference and it was not a great experience. Long lines to check in even two hours after the 4pm check in. Dirty rooms with stained furniture. Had to wipe things down with sanitizing wipes, toilet was dirty, bathroom floor was dirty and hair was all over the floor. I even found a fake nail on the floor. There were stains on the carpet and furniture. Escalators didn’t work. This hotel is maintained poorly. Will not stay here again.
The view was the only thing worth this stay. The room was in need of repair the TV didn't work. Thank goodness we were able to look out and see the bay. The restaurants are over priced. The kiosk for the parking garage barely worked. Long lines at check-in. For the price not worth it. Will definitely not be going back
The rating we gave is largely due to Ms. Emma Mitchell, our Loyalty Ambassador. For us, this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We have never stayed at such a beautiful hotel, and we honestly felt a little out of our element at first.Ms. Emma made us feel welcome and comfortable from the very beginning. Her kindness, attention, and genuine care made our stay incredibly special and helped create memories that we will cherish for years to come.Thank you so much for making this experience so wonderful. We hope to have the opportunity to return in the near future.
While the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, the hotel itself was disappointing for the price we paid. The property is in need of significant updates, and our room was not very clean when we arrived. Additionally, there were two large generators running directly outside the front of the hotel 24/7. The constant noise was clearly audible from our room and made it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep. Overall, I expected a much better experience for the cost.
Location was great. Beautiful view of the bay and walkable to lots of places.
It was close to everything and loved being by the water
The water
The view, the hotel was beautiful.
They were way understaffed so our room was not ready when we arrived at 8:00pm, and room service never came to clean our room the next day, no biggie but we did need clean towels. We even asked the front desk twice and they never showed. We were not the only family who had to wait in theirs rooms.
All good except a little loud by elevator. Staff did tell us about it though.
All good
I liked the relative cleanliness and facilities offered.
Pool was small and full of kids, no adults only time. Jacuzzi was being hogged by families not following a 6 person limit and no one was enforcing rules. No free wi-fi, no complimentary breakfast, could not use own devices on tv, no free parking and small beds.
The staff was courteous, consistent and efficient. Each person an encountered were intentional about making sure they attended to my concerns. Great customer service across the board.
Amazing staff, beautiful hotel, & an overall memorable experience! We’ll be back soon for some late summer fun & the Christmas holiday season!
The family and I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. Omni is known for being a superb hotel so we opted to join as select guest loyalty members, upgraded for packages they offered and we excited for our stay. Overall, it was underwhelming. Guest services were kind and polite, but the actual experience could've been much better. I was in correspondence with a loyalty ambassador in which she offered a treat to be delivered to the room as a birthday celebration- never came. Prior to that I met her downstairs and had inquired about booking the sea turtle experience, although she didn’t know much information about it so she said she’d contact them and get back to me- never did. The room itself was okay but felt dingy. It reeked of disinfectant to give the illusion of cleanliness but could’ve been cleaned better. The room came with a view of burger king + gas stations and the balcony was filthy with sticky sour smelling liquid on the floor so we tried to spend as little time in there as possible. We immediately went to the pool area but it was more like a packed ymca- with nowhere to sit. We tried to enjoy ourselves for what it was worth after driving 4 hours. We ordered a few drinks and apps at the outdoor bar. It advertised craft cocktails but gave dive bar. I decided to close our tab after I had asked for a sugar rim on my margarita… the bartender handed me sugar packets. We figured we’d have better luck with a nice dinner upstairs at the Republic steakhouse. We arrived early for our reservation and were excited for the live music! We asked if we could sit somewhere in the vicinity of the band since our kids also play instruments and it would add to the experience if they could watch. They denied our request and instead tucked us in an completely empty area right outside of the kitchen door. We ordered cocktails, appetizers and entrees all once to be fully coursed out. The appetizers were tasty! But one could only assume that because we were the only table in a deserted section of the restaurant, we were forgotten about. After waiting 45mins for entrees, my husband went to look for our waitress. He came back unsuccessful but spoke to a hostess who said she’ll let our server know. After almost 20minutes more… our kids are quite literally falling asleep at the table and we’re all growing irritable from waiting. At that point we decided to end the service. As we’re getting up from the table, the entrees and our server arrive frantically. I explain that we’d be leaving now and she asked if she should get the manager. The manager arrived, I communicated our experience and explained that tonight just missed the mark. The manager apologized and we thanked our waitress for her kindness as I left to put the kids to bed while he paid the check. Note: We paid for what was consumed, the manager gave us the entrees to go, we tipped on the full amount. We tried a bite in the room and had to toss the rest out. We weren’t sure if it tasted bad because it was rushed but it was not good at all. We visited a museum early the next morning, but made it back to the hotel in time for lunch at Switchgrass Landing. At this point, we were starting to question the hotel’s operations. The restaurant was almost empty and we were hungry- so we figured things would be quick and smooth. Again, we ordered everything at once. Our waitress came back to the table a few times to ask about the cocktail I had ordered, a carajillo. After 20 mins and several empty handed trips I told her don’t worry about it, water was fine. We had already ordered a fish sandwich, chicken sandwich, kid’s burger + kid’s kabob, but it took over 40minutes to come out and they brought us grilled cheese instead of the burger. By the time his burger came out we were spent, we had used most of our energy and sanity fighting off 3 restaurant flies that were attacking us and literally snatching the food out of our mouths. It was gross and just too much, we gave up. Note: we are actually a very chill and easy going family who also work in hospitality industry in Htx, so we give more grace than most but at this point the whole family is questioning my decision making with this hotel. After lunch, we left to Aransas beach for the rest of the day. We came back for the bbq buffet (tasted great!) and fireworks at the bay, worth the watch! We were in bed shortly after with checkout being the next day. But with the room being on the side of the busy streets- all of the loud traffic and commotion outside left us restless. Before getting back on the road, we grabbed the Sunday brunch buffet. The chefs on waffle duty were very kind and personable. The only downside to brunch was it was limiting. I can’t eat pork or eggs, which was majority- so I ended up paying a $50 for a waffle. Oh well, kinda disappointing but to be honest that became the theme of the trip. Overall, we agreed there wasn’t much value in our stay at Omni Hotel + resorts. Spending over $900+ for 2nights… we could have just stayed in the city for bbq and fireworks. I can’t say I’d recommend.
Have stayed here regularly for over 10 years. Although I love the location and the staff are awesome (Ken and Donnie working the lobby bar are top notch), I am becoming frustrated with the cleanliness and parking. Self parking for $30 is ridiculous in Corpus Christi. The garage is tight and hectic when cars and entering and exiting at the same time. Also the cleanliness of the rooms leave a lot to be desired. My last Stay had a nasty moldy toilet. They are doing renovations so hopefully the room quality improves but hopefully they don’t use that to jack up parking rates.
Garage parking and the staff was friendly
Property is very outdated for the price.
The early Check in was a blessing truly thankful.
Ice machine wasn’t working on our floor but that’s okay I easily went to the next floor so not that big of a deal
Enjoyed the extras provided by the hotel for the July 4th celebration

Very comfortable and clean
The facility needs upgrades. Over all very friendly staff
Very nice clean quiet rooms
Food was over priced for what it was especially beakfast
Cleanliness
All good
Pool and the breakfast buffet
They were working on renovations right underneath our floor jack hammering and woke us up @8 am while I’m vacationing Painting and the fumes were so strong
I liked the location to downtown and how close it was to everything. The view from the balcony was amazing and was a great spot for the 4th of July fireworks.
The noise of families running down the hall and people in the room next to mine being loud and having a party late into the evening. The shower curtain was on the verge of falling down and it was barely attached, the fan in the bathroom did not work very well and it was extremely loud.
Close for the beach
The smell in the room.
The ocean view and the service
The pool was too crowded
Exelente lugar
I like the location
Very outdated rooms, and dirty. The internet was a hassle to connect to and so was the tv
No breakfast
Need a breakfast buffett
Close proximity to Hilliard Center
Valet, but free parking outside
The rooms were dirty, and the shower had mold. The couch had so many stains that we couldn’t be sure if they were body fluids. So, our kids couldn’t even sit there. The carpet was ripped.
Beautiful room with water view!
Purchased early check in. Got to the hotel at 1pm. Our room wasn’t ready due to a cleaning issue. We didn’t get our room keys until 830pm. The front desk employees and management were kind and professional but having a customer wait 7 hours before providing a different room was unacceptable. Ruined our trip. The room they eventually gave us was an upgrade which was appreciated but was hardly good enough to compensate for the 7 hours of our time spent waiting in the lobby. Hotel policy/contingency plans for something like this needs to be addressed. For a “luxury” hotel this experience was terrible.
We planned a trip way in advance to stay in the Omni in July. Somehow a computer cancelled our reservations last night! When we asked to have them reinstated, we were told it would cost an extra $300 per room; then we were told the rooms were already given away. So then we were told we were getting fully refunded; however, we got an email saying we had a "voucher" for that amount. Did any amount get refunded to our credit card? NO!!!! No way would I ever attempt to stay in that hotel again.
Ok
Ok
I requested days ahead before our arrival the request of Chocolate covered Strawberries to be in the room when we arrived. The strawberries were were not in the room. It was our 15 year Anniversary and I wanted these for my wife. The front desk told me that ammenities were not able to be filled until after 4pm. I was never aware of this. I canceled the order and the front desk said they will cancel the order. At about 5pm, room service arrived with the strawberries and I was still charged for them. The room was also dirty and mold was seen on bathroom light fixtures. The ice tray had dirt and mold on it as well.
The layout, the staff was great in taking care of us and the dining in was great. The food was hot and well served.
A womens shop would be nice.
We chose the Omni for a special couple getaway. We were seeking some alone time with peace and tranquility. The room was very nice and comfortable. We had dinner at Switchgrass Landing and ordered appetizers which were excellent, but the entree needed attention. Staff was slow to attend our table, but the atmosphere and view of the bay was nice. Around 8pm we decided to enjoy some time at the hot tub and was interrupted and cut short due to unsupervised children running to and from the pool to the hot tub landing on my feet several times. I contacted front desk to address the issue but assistance to the issue was not addressed while we were there. The overall stay was nice, the room was nice and comfortable. But would have been much more enjoyable.
I felt could be improved was the bed size. I believe the rooms would be more comfortable if they had two queen-size beds instead of two full-size beds. Having a comfortable and restful night's sleep is important, and larger beds would help enhance the overall guest experience.
Location, and the front desk staff were. Extremely helpful, and nice.
Excellent customer service
We had the best experience at the Omni from the moment we got there. The receptionist was so friendly and greeted us with drink vouchers and a goody bag for our daughter. She informed us that the room we would be staying was her favorite so that made us feel good about it. Once we got to our room we were so happy with what we got. It was so spacious and clean. The view is amazing towards the bay and the new bridge and we could even see the USS Lexington. The hotel staff brought us complimentary snacks as well. We ate several times at Switchgrass Landing and the employees were great and food was amazing. We were so happy with our experience that we decided to stay an extra night. They happily arranged that through text and I did not have to stop at the reception desk to arrange an extra night. Thank you for such great service.
Location
The indoor pool was a joke. Room and hotel were not up to Omni standards
The view, rooms were nice and comfortable.
That it was around so much fun things to do
Theft
Great Bay View room and great top floor Restaurant with good food and view of the bay. Nice location on Bay which is walking distance to local attractions.
Nice location with a good view.
We were located, room 836, next to 3 lifts and an air conditioning motor that were noisy all night long
My truck was damaged by VALET insurance responded fairly quick.. however the insurance has not paid the collision repair place and therefore they will not release my truck to me.. it has been ready for 6 business days that i cannot get my truck.. cannot get in touch with anyone at insurance or hotel.
Had a terrible experience with staff. I reported dogs barking in the room next door and the staff did nothing about it. It when on our entire stay and they would not switch our rooms.
The Omni is the hotel I always book with when I visit Corpus Christi. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well maintained and in a great location near the beach which makes it easy to enjoy other points of interest that are near by. The room is nicely decorated, with a Keurig coffee maker along with an assortment of coffee, sugars, creamers, teas etc. The Bar and Grill located on the 20th floor is fabulous and not way over priced like I’ve seen at some hotels.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was also in a great location.
The hotel is outdated. The pool tiles were loose. The room furniture was outdated, scratched, and the chair in our room had a hole in it. The room wasn’t dirty, but I did have to wipe down the desk and bathroom counter.
The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and other amenities. Great view from the balcony! The connected parking was very convenient, and the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, which made for a great first impression. I also appreciated having dining options and additional amenities available within the hotel itself.
The hotel is an older property and you can tell it has some age. The carpet in the room felt dirty, not because of housekeeping, but rather because the room was older. Another concern was the condition of the hairdryer in the room. The air intake vent on the back of the hairdryer was heavily clogged with dust and lint. Not only is this a potential fire hazard, but it also reflects a lack of attention to routine maintenance and cleanliness. Hairdryers are inexpensive items that are used frequently by guests, so they should be inspected, cleaned, and replaced as needed. Small details like this can significantly impact a guest’s perception of the property’s overall cleanliness and upkeep. The hot tub was also disappointing. There was a noticeable buildup of grime along the inside surface of the tub, and while I was using it, I pulled out 3 band aids floating in the water while I was in there. The first time it happened was when I got my hands out of the water and the bandaid was on my palm. It felt pretty gross. The water appeared slightly yellow, and a significant amount of dirty looking foam accumulated on the surface. Overall, the hot tub did not appear to be cleaned or maintained frequently enough. I would recommend more frequent water changes and a thorough cleaning and scrubbing of the hot tub to improve the guest experience.
I stayed there for 4 nights from 16-20 May for the Powerlifting America Age Nationals. The staff at the hotel was great. The food was great at the restaurants in the hotel. The room was very nice
Excellent valet service and front desk staff!!!
I wish they had more snacks and grocery available. We missed breakfast and were unable to get anything on the go. We also couldn't get the wifi to work on the television to link streaming options.
Excellent location and delicious food. Spacious bed and room.
The 11th floor hallway smells strongly of mildew. A disadvantage of being by the sea and difficult to remediate. But it must be addressed soon.
I would ONLY give the service provided by Alaina P for breakfast at the Switchgrass Landing a 10. She was exceptionally attentive and warm and went beyond our expectations of service. She did not know that it was our anniversary, or that we had a bad experience at check in the day before. She displayed all of these qualities of her own accord. It was so remarkable that we had to mention it to her manager. When I asked the front desk for her manager's name, they were overjoyed to share. When I called her manager (Laura), Gina answered the phone in her behalf and also expressed the same enthusiasm over the commendation we wished to give Alaina. Knowing that members of this team celebrate each other was so nice and really brightened our day. Additionally, Gina introduced herself to us on the next morning at breakfast, going out of her way to make us feel welcome. This was outstanding service and attitudes that should be recognized and rewarded. Unfortunately, the remainder of our stay paled in comparison. We were rudely addressed by valet, our bags (containing various electronic devices) were left unattended, and moved far from the view of the valet station to the opposite end of the driveway. They rudely refused to let us handle our bags once we discovered this (contrary to what we were told would be the experience by the front desk). I will acknowledge and do appreciate that the gentleman at the front desk tried to right the wrong. There was a barking dog, left unattended across the hall from our room. (I have video) We had to call the front desk, who seemed more concerned with reminding me that you are a pet friendly hotel, than addressing the fact that the dog was left unattended by its owner. We were not allowed to use our drink vouchers on Sunday in the same manner that we used them on Friday, even though the voucher clearly states what beverages are included. We were curtly told that the policy changed Sunday morning. All of our encounters at the coffee shop were met with lukewarm service. With the exception of our experience with Alaina and Gina, we didn't feel welcome in your hotel. Unfortunately, the Corpus Christi hotel just does not live up to the OMNI standard that we have become accustomed to.
