Die Betreiber des B&B waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und wurden sogar auf ein besseres Zimmer geupgradet. Wir wären auch gerne noch länger als nur eine Nacht dort geblieben.

Da gibt es nichts zu bemängeln

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und umsorgt. Es gab viele Tipps für leckeres Essen,... Es war grundsätzlich sehr ruhig im Ort. Schön, dass gezielt nach Frühstück gefragt wurde, so ist nichts unnötig zubereitet worden.

Etwas ungewöhnlich war, dass die ganze Nacht Musik lief und der Kühlschrank oft ansprang.

From the moment I arrived, this guesthouse felt less like accommodation and more like a home away from home. The attention to detail was exceptional, but what truly made the stay unforgettable were the incredible people behind it. Gill and Lisby went so far beyond what one would ever expect — their warmth, kindness and genuine care turned a wonderful stay into something really special. By the end, they honestly felt more like friends than staff. Every little touch was thoughtful and personal — from a hot water bottle waiting on a colder evening, to fresh flowers in the room, to the most unbelievable homemade jam served at breakfast. And the breakfast itself was completely out of this world — beautifully prepared, generous and absolutely delicious. It’s rare to find a place that combines such comfort, charm and heartfelt hospitality so effortlessly. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience — I cannot wait to return.

Hatte erst überlegt Struisbay/CapAguhlas zu skippen aber es war sehr schön. Das Guesthouse war sehr schön, modern und die Leute sehr freundlich. Klare Empfehlung.

The location of the property is next to harbor with a board walk to explore. Only a short drive to South Africa's most southern point. Breakfast was wonderland, and the hostesses were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay while driving across the south of South Africa.

Wir waren hier für drei Nächte. Eine tolle Unterkunft…!!! Schon die Begrüßung… super nettes Personal…!!! Wir bekamen noch dazu ein Upgrade… und wohnten im High Tide Apartment. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und es gab wirklich alles, was man brauchte. Und das Frühstück war einfach großartig…!!! Vom gesamten Personal wurde man behandelt, als wenn man zur Familie gehörte, richtig liebevoll… Hier würden wir immer wieder übernachten…. 😊 Wir können das OCEANS sehr weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt…!!!

Die Klospülung war leider schwergängig und die Klimaanlage hat leider etwas getropft was sehr schade war, da es so sehr warm geworden ist

Ausgesprochen nette Gastgeber, mit viel Geschmack und Liebe eingerichtete Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück mit perfektem Reifegrad des Obstes etc.

We have nothing but good things to say about this place. The hosts were welcoming, caring and insightful. They gave us recommendations on what to do around town, places to eat and activities. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. If you’re still reading this, my only advice is : book now!

Die Lage ist schön, direkt am Hafen. Die Ausstattung top und die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und geben gerne Tipps für Ausflüge oder leckere Restaurants. Ausserdem wird das Frühstück mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet.

Die Lage direkt am Meer.

Das Bad war nur durch einen Vorhang abgetrennt…. Das war nicht so schön… Aber ansonsten alles schön und modern eingerichtet.

- Gastgeber war so freundlich und nett - Hafen ist 1 Minute zu Fuss entfernt, dort können riesige Rochen bestaunt werden - Frühstücksbuffet war der Hammer und sehr sehr herzig angerichtet - Zimmer liebevoll mit sehr vielen Details eingerichtet - Ein richtiges Boutique Hotel

Vor dem Hotel befand sich ein riesiger Parkplatz (Aussicht war nicht so fantastisch) und die Unternehmungen in der Region sind eingeschränkt. Dies wird aber durch die Herzlichkeit des Gastgebers und der tollen Hoteleinrichtung wieder wettgemacht!

Vielen Dank für das gute Frühstück und den äußerst freundlichen und sehr persönlichen Service! Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und schon beim Betreten des Hauses sieht man sofort,dass das Oceans Guest House in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand ist Die Zimmer sind sehr hochwertig, komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet Die Lage ist sehr schön mit Blick aufs Meer Danke nochmal an das ganze Team für die tolle und schnelle Unterstützung beim Beheben unserer Reifenpanne Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise von Plettenberg nach Hermanus

10/10 This is my second visit to Struisbaai and this guesthouse and again it didn't disappoint. The attention to detail plus the wonderful host make this the perfect place to stay.

Die kurze Entfernung zum Hafen war großartig. Wir konnten mal schnell bei den Stachelrochen vorbeischauen :))

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein. Aber es war halt das letzte verfügbare Zimmer.

The location of the property is excellent - plenty of parking space and just a very short walk down to the beach and harbour. The facilities were great - a comfortable bed, nice large terrace, and good amenities in the room including freshly ground coffee and a selection of teas. The staff are extremely welcoming and engaging and happy to provide suggestions and recommendations on things to do and places to eat in the local area. I would highly recommend a stay at the Oceans Guest House if you are visiting Struisbaai.

Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal im Oceans und das aus gutem Grund. Es ist ein sehr schönes Guest House, die Zimmer funktional und ausgesprochen geschmackvoll, dabei minimalistisch eingerichtet, in der ersten Reihe am Hafen von Struisbaai. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir wurden rundherum herausragend versorgt und kommen natürlich wieder.

Izkušnja v tej nastanitvi je bila popolna. Od trenutka, ko smonprispeli smo bili navdušeni nad prijaznostjo osebja in kakovostjo storiter ter ambienta. Soba je bila prostorna, zelo čista in udobna. Pričakal nas je sadno čokoladninprigrizek in voda ter čudoviti pogled na morje. Sodobna oprema, posyelja pavtako udobna, da smobsecresnično spočili.

Ein sehr komfortables Gästehaus in bester Lage mit mega-freundlichen Gastgebern. Der Fischerort hat einen ganz eigenen Charme. Am Nachmittag tummeln sich mehrere grosse Rochen im Hafen, die auf Fischabfälle warten und ganz dicht heranschwimmen. Zwei blitzsaubere Strände erreicht man in wenigen Minuten. Das Cap Agulhas liegt fünf Fahrminuten entfernt.

Uitstekend hotel op goede locatie. Verzorgd ontbijt en diverse restaurant op rijafstand. Zeer aardige eigenaars met genoeg lokale info.

Bijzondere ligging, mooi uitzicht, heerlijk ontbijt en heel gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar.

Deluxe room with seaside view. What more to wish for! Catching up on reading on the balcony if not running at the beach or visiting Agulhas. A very comfortable stay with extreme attention to detail from the staff noticable on checkin and with the breakfast.

Time seems to pass more slowly here—it’s a pity we stayed for just one day. Endless beaches with excellent sand. Water suitable for swimming. Worth including as a stop on the Garden Route.

Great location, spotlessly clean and bright, everything worked, lovely hosts, great breakfast. The friendly local stingrays were an unexpected bonus. Avoid the dirt track approach road into Struisbaai if possible but it was worth it to stay here.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit geschmackvoller moderner Einrichtung. Direkt am Meer bzw. 2 Min zu Fuß zu einem kleinen Hafen, mit Sportangeboten, Essensmöglichkeit und schönem Strand. Das Frühstück war klein, aber sehr fein und frisch. Auch die Gastgeber waren außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Tochter musste zum Notarzt, die Gastgeber waren sofort zur Stelle und fuhren mit uns zur Ärztin. Vielen Dank nochmal!

Sehr schönes Zimmer. Großartige Betten. Tolles sehr modernes Badezimmer mit einer begehbaren Dusche. Mit dem Auto ist man in 15 Minuten am südlichsten Punkt Afrikas. In wenigen Schritten ist man an einem kleinen Hafen wo es Kneipen gibt und ein schöner hölzener Steg am Meer entlang führt. Das Personal ist super, gibt prima Tipps und ist unglaublich hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank dafür.

Wir haben ein Familienzimmer gehabt (2 Schlafzimmer, 1 Bad und Wohnzimmer mit Küche). Super Ausstattung und sehr freundliche Hosts. Frühstück war auch sehr gut.

An sich haben wir nichts auszusetzen, die 10 wird von uns einfach grundsätzlich nur in Ausnahmen vergeben.

The location, decor, space, hosts, breakfast are all exceptional. It's the perfect place to spend a night or more if you want to chill out, watch the local sting rays, and swim in the Indian Ocean. Very safe, clean and relaxed.
