I loved how attentive the restaurant staff was and the food was fabulous. The goodie bag on arrival for the children was a surprisingly nice touch. Overall a really nice experience and a lovely hotel.

No parking discount in the adjacent public car park for guests staying in the hotel. The daily rate of €22 is a bit steep while being a guest of the hotel. Apparently because I booked 'room only', I didn't qualify for the free parking. I wasn't bothered but I would like to have known in advance, that's all. Also.....the room was very hot during the night. There's a fan in the room but there is noise during the night time.

Comfortable bed and nice clean bedroom

No hot water in the shower. Outside terrace area not kept well. Tables left dirty and no glasses collected. Left sitting in dark. The tables in the foyer on the evening were left full of glasses and not collected.

Great location, handy shuttles to Forest Fest! Room was what you would expect of a nice hotel. Staff were friendly.

Parking was not included, which was ridiculous considering the price we paid. Sunday night stay was over €300 so not good value for what it offered.

The staff were friendly. The pool was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable!! Very family oriented 🙂

Pricey at €167 for one night B&B for a double room

Stayed in hotel for 2 nights as a stop off spot to go to emerald park.. check in was good and at check staff very good and informative about everything the hotel had to offer. Had a nice big family room room was nice but a few stains in the carpet is a bit off putting, but unless they change the carpet there probably won’t come off. No A/C in rooms but they do offer fans, that is advertised on there web page so it’s not like the hotel hides it but is still a bit annoying. Everything was nice and lovely bar little things that didn’t really make it any worse but are issue came with the service while eating…… First off to there credit the staff and very friendly but I joked with my wife on our second night saying how many times do the staff apologise in a night. But on both nights, service was slow, wife given soup with no spoon, kids pizza was burnt on the bottom which left an awful burnt after taste in mouth, drinks were very slow to get serviced and when it came to paying we had to hunt down the waitress who had pocketed are food voucher so would not be over charged. Second night got steak with no steak knife, ordered drinks with food and had finished our starters before are drinks were brought to table, we were sitting near the bar and I could see are drinks on the counter and I couldn’t count how many times staff doing nothing walked passed them and left them sitting there, I had to basically go up and get them myself… we were waiting a while to have our starters cleared off the table that when they finally got cleared up we were asked if we wanted dessert menus before we when got our mains. Breakfast in are second morning was a bit the same, my family all used the buffet and I had a fry, I sat there with a menu and staff looked at me and walked past over and over and over again, my entire family and managed to finish all there breakfast until one young lad went to walk pass me again and noticed and took my order.. he was the only one who hadn’t walked past me previously so one member of staff I have to credit for doing his job, but other staff clearly noticed and yet walked straight past. My wife regretted not saying anything when we checked out but her attention was on our kids. But for a not a busy weekday stay and staff having time to stand around in 3/4 having a joke, it just wasn’t good enough service.

Lovely hotel, came during summer holidays- it was lovely for kids with cinema and cookies. Food in steakhouse was fab and breakfast was super!

Breakfast room...great. Service....excellent. Food....probably above average. But sauce on lamb shank didn't taste authentic. More like curry than a red wine sauce. IMO.

We found our room was very dark even in daytime. I guess we felt that if the paint was brighter then it wouldn't be so dull. But the room was spacious and comfortable.

Was impressed with the whole hotel, have stayed in all 3 major hotels in the locality and its the best by far, good room, nice room and great spa and facilities

Stayed in August 2026. Hotel was fabulous. very clean and modern. Extras included for kids ( welcome pack on arrival; film; milk and cookies in reception in the evening) were lovely and made the kids feel special. Pool was brilliant, clean and fun with water features all working. Changing rooms were large with working lockers. Food was great for dinner and breakfast. Kids could make own pancakes with a special machine for breakfast. Would recommend.

I was told when I arrived I had to pay 22 euro but the next morning a lady to me to ask again about the cost of the parking.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spotless. Had dinner in the steakhouse which was excellent.

The bed wasn’t so comfortable.

Everything about the Midlands Park Hotel is exceptional, the staff, the food, the area, the reception, the value for money. We love it so much we went back a further three times. Always such a great welcoming atmosphere at the reception, the bar and the restaurant. The rooms were clean. We had no issue with noise at night time. The location couldn’t have been better, especially for us coming off the train , it was about a three minute walk. We’ll definitely be back again next year. Thanks for having us Midlands Park Hotel.

It was modern clean and the staff were helpful

The check in of 4 o clock is very late in the day. We were attending a wedding outside the hotel and half the guests couldn’t check in until later

This is my second stay and the staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel is clean, welcoming and the breakfast is great

Fajnie, że był wiatrak w pokoju bo było bardzo gorąco. Ale za tą cenę za dobę powinna być klimatyzacja.

Brak lodówki w pokoju. Przy upałach bardzo by się przydała. Za taką cenę hotelu za dobę powinna być.

We would love to thank all of the staff at the Midlands Park Hotel, they were so welcoming and they couldn’t have done anything more for us, super helpful staff! We stayed in the Kilone suite, it was gorgeous, very clean and had everything we needed and more.

I booked this hotel for my parents 55 years wedding anniversary, paid before they arrived, my mother had the ref number and screenshot of payment received, while checking in my mother phd me and said the staff member couldn't find the payment even though my mam showed the payment ref number, my parents felt so humiliated left standing there while staff member tried to find the payment link etc.they felt so embarrassed and humiliated, which put a terrible dampener on the stay they actually didn't feel like staying after that experience, they will never return here and neither will any of our family we have attended family weddings here spent easter Halloween lots of different advent and nlstays here but would never return
