Sehr gute Lage, ruhig, Parken vor dem Haus, Kaffee und Tee zur Verfügung, Restaurants und Bars ums Eck. Gute öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung Toronto City 30 min
Ausstattung der Küche minimal
This hotel is in an excellent location. Close to everything and such a pretty harbor. The room was huge and the bed very comfortable. There was an issue with my reservation and i was very pleased with how it was handled and resolved.
The room was slightly stuff, no ventilation --opening a window or some air conditioning would have helped. but overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
Best location in town
Kind of antique accessories
Location. Going to snug harbour for dinner
Dated and noise of construction
Location
No disabled parking
Room was large. Location was reasonable.
Shower was extremely uncomfortable. Sheets were uncomfortable. Kitchen was very bare.
The staff was attentive and helpful. The views are perfect. The laundry in room was great for my long stay. I enjoyed the bands playing nearby from the comfort of my room.
No furniture on the balconies.
The rooms, views and location. Port Credit has most things transport and entertainment but low key vibe.
Nothing
Location was great
Water for showers was lukewarm at best !
View, location.
It was clearly once a lovely hotel
But, it looks like it’s changed owners and the new owners are looking to spend as little as possible, so, tepid water in the shower, no ice machines, towels and bathrobes threadbare and fraying the cheapest of cheep TP, and a tiny TV.
Very nice staff and great location
Clean
Great Location Room was lovely and big
No pool Parking was expensive
Gute Erreichbarkeit öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel
Küchenutensilien nur auf Anfrage möglich.
Nicely located ! The rooms are big and it’s really clean. It’s cheap as well for what it gives you.
Issue with the bathroom.
Clean, big rooms, confortable.
Noisy area.
It’s located to downtown port credit which makes it easy to walk to restaurants etc.
The hotel is very dated. Not easily accessible to main door. Had to walk up at least 10 steps with suitcase. No balcony furniture. Asked front desk if there was another entrance to make it easier. We were told no. Front desk person on the Friday wasn’t helpful or friendly. We were given our door key pass and it wouldn’t work. We went down tothe front desk 3 times. No apology etc. finally gave us another room.
Great location. Plenty of walking opportunities and lots to see.
We were booked as a party of 4, but the room was set up for 2, so we didn’t have enough towels initially. We were given extra towels on request, which was fine. The room had no cookware; pans, knives, kettle, toaster etc needed to be requested, which was a pain when you have 2 children to sort. Even some basic stuff in the room upon arrival would have been better than nothing. Parking was generally good, but it was difficult at the weekend. I feel like the area of the car park that was designated for hotel guests was being used by the public.
Die Lage is hervorragend
Lovely suite with balcony. Spacious and spotless . Staff very very pleasant.

Rooms were clean and updated. The location was excellent.
Limited parking as hotel was at capacity. Staff was available but not overly friendly or accommodating.
Location near the water and train station
Live music outside next door until 11pm multiple nights including weekdays
Location, nice overlooking Port Credit marina. Within 10 mins walk to Port Credit Go station for trips to Toronto, about 30 mins. Port Credit has a friendly village feeling with numerous coffee shops and eating establishments. Nice rooms, we had a 2 bed suite with the additional facilities offered. We advised before arrival only 2 persons travelling, the kitchen facilities were not adequate for more than 2 persons. (why would a hotel remove kitchen utensils?) No vending or tourist info in public areas. We travelled from UK and some local information would have been useful. With odd exception staff were not very engaging. It is expected that 'reception' staff in particular would be welcoming. Staff not happy in there work, and it shows.
Very clean. Bed was comfortable.
We were first given a room where the air conditioning didn't work so they sent someone up who told us we just had to be more patient. Two hours later the room's temperature had decreased from 81 degrees to 79 degrees so we called again. This time they moved us next door where the air conditioning was obviously working. In the meantime of course we had unpacked and then had to repack everything and move. An apology was offered at check out but there should have been something offered in terms of compensation. Also there is no ice machine in the hotel and on a day like we were experiencing you needed lots of ice and again no offer was made to address the issue. Also they need to clean up their website because it still seems like there is a restaurant there but it has been closed for 5 years!
Gostei do quarto.
Looking to stay here, but I noticed the following note...for a 2 Queen Bed room - What does this really mean???? Need to Know - Bed sheets not available Non-Smoking 2 Queen Beds
Well located with local restaurants and pubs. Also easy to commute into Toronto with excellent GO train service
Balcony could not be used due to work. This wasn’t advised when booking. We booked this due to kitchen facility however kitchen was poorly stocked with absolute minimum equipment provided. Facility was comfortable but did not look at all like Booking.com photo which made it look modern.
We stayed for 11 nights in June 2026. I'll start with the good. We loved the location, with a quick walk to the Go Station for an easy commute into Toronto (only 4 stops to Union). We also loved the relaxed feel of Port Credit and changed our plans to spend a few days in the local area, walking through the parks, enjoying the marina and spending time in the bars/eateries. We loved having a suite and the extra space of the kitchenette and lounge. It really did feel like a home from home. The view from 801 was perfect, we could see Toronto in the distance and also had a great view of the lake. The only bad bit was that we couldn't use the large balcony as the balconies are being refurbished. The refurbishment work is really noisy and it meant that we had to leave the apartment earlier in the morning than we'd like to when on holiday. We had a small blip with our first room and we had to change, although this was handled well. Room 1203 looked lovely but it was completely out of action due to the balcony works. I've noticed a few posts about the security deposit. As we were staying for an extended time, we had a payment of $500 made to our card rather than a hold. This was refunded, promptly and without issue on check-out. We would definitely choose to stay here again, hopefully with a functional balcony, as we absolutely loved Port Credit and Toronto.
The hotel is i a great location , close to the main strip of good bars restaurants and stores and right next to the lake harbour for pleasant walks .. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with questions i had .
Nothing in particular
We arrived at Waterside Inn around 2:00 a.m. after a long drive, expecting to get some sleep. Instead, we were met with extremely loud construction noise coming from outside the hotel. It is now 3:00 a.m., and neither we nor our children have been able to sleep because of the constant noise. When I spoke to the front desk, I was told that the City of Mississauga has a major construction project nearby and that work is taking place day and night. The staff pointed out that there is a notice about the noise hanging in the hotel lobby. That is not acceptable. A notice in the lobby does nothing for guests who only see it after checking in at 2:00 a.m. If the hotel knew that overnight construction would seriously affect guests’ stay, they should have informed us before our arrival—during booking or by email. We would have booked another hotel had we known. The issue is not the city’s construction project; it is the hotel’s failure to warn guests in advance. We paid for a place to sleep, and that was impossible.
Friendly staff and a big room.
I would have liked for it to be cheaper. But it has a prime location so you pay for that.
Lovely location, good places to eat and drink just a short walk away. Handy to Go train into downtown Toronto.
It was expensive, maybe due to the world cup being played. The room was pretty dated, the wifi was very slow, so no use for work. I had emailed and messaged twice the week before arriving as we needed the sofa changed into a bed, and this was not done for us and we had to request the sheets and blankets and do it ourselves after travelling for about 20 hours.
We had the two bedroom apartment and it was a large space with big closets and a huge balcony with a perfect view of the Toronto skyline and the lake. Kitchen is large and bedrooms were great. Definitely will be back!
The pricing was a little it high but do understand its Saturday and World Cup happening! The kitchen did not have many dishes and or paper towels or dish towels to dry.

Suite was spacious and kitchen facilities were sufficient. Complement of cookware was variable: we stayed in the same room for two stays, 4 days apart; on the second stay, the kitchen was missing cookware like pots and pans. Our suite had a reasonably modern (but slightly mouldy) washer-dryer which was convenient for our longer stay. Location was convenient for the Port Credit GO Train station. Staff handled the catastrophic toilet failure (see next section) as well as they could and given what rooms were available. At 2am, they had no free rooms so put us up in a room that had been made up but had no window coverings. It wasn't ideal but at least it was a bed to sleep in.
Extremely worn and tired decor, appliances and sanitaryware. The bathroom sanitaryware was so old we experienced a catastrophic plumbing failure. The toilet cistern would not stop filling and the water overflowed the toilet bowl and spilled onto the floor, escaping the bathroom and into the rest of the suite. I had to open the lid of the cistern and manually lift the ballcock to stop the flooding. After that, I found and closed the valve that feeds the cistern tank. Most of the appliances within the suite were extremely old. The kitchen appliances functioned however the hairdryer had a nonfunctioning on/off switch. The hairdryer would turn on as soon as it was plugged in and its switch did nothing. On our first stay, after we reported the faulty hairdryer they delivered another hairdryer (which was extremely basic) and left the faulty one. When we checked in for our second stay, which by chance was in the same room, the functioning hairdryer had been removed and leaving only the same faulty hairdryer.
Great location
Noisy on street
Location was good, free parking was a bonus. Room was clean and bed was comfy.
Room location was on the town side, so the noise at night was constant. The local bars were ok, but the racing cars were unbearable.
I like staying there, close to everything
I was put in a room where there are current renovations happening. No black out curtains. Was completely bright by 5am. Also the door frame , from the outside door you can see inside the room. Very creepy
Very nice location, Staff were very friendly, lots of restaurants near by. We walked to the Go Station and went to the ball game. Our Room was very clean. The view of the harbour was so nice, we could see the CN Tower as well. Would like to come back when weather is a little nicer to see all the boats and go for a nice walk.
Mooie kamer
Location is really nice.
Very dated. Air conditioning not great only cools the main room, not the bedrooms. Toilet ran.
Nice penthouse with marvelous view and a balcony. Trains to Toronto nearby. Nice restaurants just around the corner
The staff could cooperate more while preparing invoices.
Great location lovely view with easy access to restaurants etc

The location was great and the layout of the rooms was good. It was good having kitchen facilities.
Was surprised by the construction work on the balconies although it wasn’t too disturbing.
Not much to shout about im afraid
No bar, no restaurant
A very functional unit for 2 couples visiting the Cottage Life Show. Our two bedroom suite was perfect for us and we really liked the view. Our rooms were very hot though and we had no way to turn down the heat. It would be great if that had have been an option.
Too hot.
Nice location, close to bars, restaurants and lakeside park
A bit outdated, missed good breakfast facilities
Nice location, close to bars, restaurants and lakeside park
Bit outdated, misses breakfast facilities
This location did not provide lunches. Disappointed as online it indicates provided
Having to pay for parking. We were 2 people coming from different locations. Had to pay for each night stayed per vehicle. Additional expenses
The suite was a converted one bedroom apartment, so it felt like a little home. The location is fantastic.
As soon as you enter between the double set of doors at the entrance, you're hit with a very intense cologne smell, and it is very offputting. I found that the front desk staff stare a lot at the people entering and exiting. I encountered 4 different staff during my stay, and none smiled or acted friendly toward me; very just matter of fact. The clothes washer was out of order. I didn't need to use it, but they should not be renting suites out that are not fully functional.
Everything
Great location
The hotel was clean. The space was large and the balcony was amazing.
There was some type of construction happening with loud noises and banging.

Location and size of the room
4 o'clock check in is too late
Recently, (January 2026) my husband and I stayed at the Waterside Inn in Port Credit. Upon check-in we were told that the onsite parking was closed and we'd have to park across the street in their off-site lot and that it would cost $15.00 a night. We questioned this since their website stated that off-site parking was free and the fellow behing the desk said that he'd waive that fee. Upon check-out the following day, I authorized a payment for $238.36 to be charged to my Visa. The next day when I checked my Visa I found that the transaction was posted for $254.18. My husband called the hotel and eventually, ended up speaking with the manager, Deya. She said the extra charge was for parking. When my husband complained that the website clearly stated that off=site parking was free and that we had been told that fee had been waived, she said she'd refund that to our Visa. That was 2 weeks ago and she never did issue a refund. Also, we found a $500.00 security deposit for one night at this hotel to be excessive, especially since ten days later, we stayed in a nearby Hilton suite with a security deposit of $50.00, free parking and a complementary breakfast for the same price. It's a shame, as we liked our suite at The Waterside Inn and the location and had talked about returning in the summer for a more extended visit. That will not be happening now, as we don't trust this management team!!!
The room was clean and well designed meeting our requirements.
A boot mat would have been appreciated.
Cozy
N/A
The size of the suite was perfect as well as having a full kitchen was amazing. The design was also retro and cozy
I didn't like how the blinds didn't black out the room. There was a lot of light. Also, the bed was a queen instead of a king, but that's minor. I just happen to be a taller guy.
The scheme the hotel uses of charging for parking only when customers use booking.com we find very deceptive and unacceptable. We have stayed here many years without paying for parking. When booking.com website shows the final total price, it is not true.
Confortable bed
I booked one room through Booking.com, but due to an error, the reservation was sent to the hotel as two rooms. I would never have booked two rooms just for my husband and me. The hotel refused to refund the extra room or allow us to use it on another date. Booking.com also failed to respond to my complaint. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The hotel manager was rude and unwilling to communicate.
The location is close to the sea shore. There are many restaurants around (with diverse price ranges) and it's close enough from the touristic places of Toronto.
There is no service available (breakfast, etc.). The housekeeping was unacceptable : - we were 4, had 2 towels in the room, asked for 2 more, got 3 towels total the next day. - our little one had a "nightly accident" - we asked the bed sheets to be changed : not only was it not done, when we mentioned it to the desk we were given sheets and were required to change them ourselves. - there are coffee cups, unfortunately they were not replaced the second day - when we came back from our visit, the door was open (had not been closed by the staff) - when we had to leave we mentioned all of this to the desk director. She promised to talk to the housekeeping company, to her management for compensation and contact us back. One month later, we still have no news.
Excellent location, close to water, parks, restaurants, very walkable. Elegant decor with a touch of charisma from old times. Great to escape from the city, Go train can take you from Union Station to Port Credit directly for only half an hour and 10 minutes walk to the hotel, stress free.
Need some tricks to turn on the shower even instructions on the tiles, not user friendly at all, imagine turning on water first before pull out the bottom part! Super noisy at night caused by cars just next to the room! Air conditioning is also very loud, have to turn it off. Found out when checked in that king suites located only on second and third floor, didn’t ask if higher floors are those equipped with kitchens which some travellers might not need, but got stuck only in the lower floors.
Very clean beautiful view of the canal
Parking is a bit of a walk with a few step although off loading can be done by main entrance
Easy check in and check out process. Font desk staff were pleasant and courteous. The room was larger than anticipated, and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and quiet.
The room and hotel decor definitely need a redo as it is quite dated. Note, the bathtub is very deep and anyone with mobility issues or walking balance/issues would definitely have trouble getting into the tub/shower. They definitely need handrails. (Perhaps some of the other rooms have this, I am just commenting on the room we stayed in.)
Two bedroom apartment with kitchen living room is quiet
The location is excellent. You can catch the go train at Port credit station. only a five minute walk There are so many restaurants around there as well
I stayed at this hotel a number of times one night I came back with my nephew and was ambushed with a party what was held there full of Chinese because I made a compliment to a lady they were going to absolutely kill us we had to hide in reception in the office it was very frightening I receive no refund or apology disgusting very very frightened
Central
Clean, convenient and comfortable
All good
Nice views
Fitness room had broken equipment. I informed the front desk but nothing was done
The hotel is in a lovely location particularly if you are allocated a room with a balcony overlooking the lovely harbour and Lake Ontario. The balcony area is huge but it would have been nice to have some basic seating. The room itself very large with a vast amount of space for clothes etc. The decor is very traditional, perhaps dated in some areas, but it did feel rather grand. The log effect fire very cosy. The TV is small and housed within the fitted bedroom units. I feel work is needed to modernise such aspects. Housekeeping was excellent and there was a nice array of ethical toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable. I didn’t particularly like the coffee making machine being in the bathroom though. The hotel is seconds away from beautiful harbour walks and good shops and cafes. No restaurant at the hotel. Also the train line to Toronto downtown is an easy walk away. This hotel offers a more spacious and perhaps grander experience than staying downtown Toronto depending on budget allowance. Hotels in downtown Toronto are very expensive. The location of this hotel proved an excellent alternative choice to the higher priced downtown hotels. However, the hotel refundable deposit is a high one £275.00 and it takes approximately 10 days for it to eventually clear and refund to one’s bank balance. Overall this was a lovely hotel to stay at, comfortable, clean, beautiful views, idyllic location and yes I definitely would return.
Location
No bar/restaurant
Location
No amenities, no ice,water,etc.
Room was big but a bit sterile
Felt like an old hotel whose time has now passed
Location is good, people are good. Property is quiet, clean and tidy
The property is dated and needs upgrading. Ice machine, water and vending machines would be great. Expensive imho
Stayed for the weekend attending a wedding. This hotel is a repurposed apt building. Large 1 br units have a separate bedroom, a kitchenette and seating area. Perfect for visitors or relaxing. Suite is clean. Nice view from the balcony of a small marina with lots of public parks and walking trails. Lakeshore rd is steps away offering an abundance of places to eat/shop. Parking was free. Tbh I didn't feel safe walking the area at night. During the day it was fine. No problems checking in. For the price this hotel has excellent value. Would recommend.
Had toswitched rooms twice- first time because the room lock didn’t work so anyone could walk right in. They couldn’t fix it so they moved us to similar room on same floor but one of the beds were lopsided and random pair of shoes were under the bed. Was sent 2 floors down and that had water on the floor in the bathroom but I wasn’t moving all of my luggage again so I stayed. Rooms are old and smelly, nothing updated and the rooms took forever to cool down with the AC. On top of that after paying full price on Expedia I had to pay a $500 deposit which is almost double was I paid for the room- I’ve traveled to many Countries and stayed at all types of hotels and neverrr had to pay so much for a deposit.
Parking was across the street. Room was clean, but quite dated. Old tv, cabinets falling apart, no toaster or tea towel to dry dishes. Staff were friendly. Scratchy toilet paper.
Friendly staff, parking is across the street, $14 per night. TV's are not smart, basic cable. Bring your own toilet paper, its very scratchy. Beds were comfortable, lots of pillows. No kettle or toaster in room, unfortunately. We felt safe staying there. Use the dead bolt for extra security. No on site eatery available.
The shower was not working properly. It was warm even with heating off.

Front desk gave key to someone at 1:30am to our room without id or calling up to see if we were expecting someone at this hour. They tried to get in our room……we were terrified. Will not be staying there again. Also rooms are in a terrible need of updating
