I liked the location, free parking, and that there was a pool. The breakfast was good for being included as well.

The door to the pool was broken so had to try to find it downstairs. Not labeled well so thought it was just another room door. The room wasn’t clean. We spilt a drink and used a towel to wipe it up. It turned black with dirt. The drain wouldn’t drain either.

There is no basic things in any hotel in the world. Such as water bottles or enough towels. The room has no ventilation and smells bad.

I have never experienced such poor treatment from a hotel before in my entire life. I do not recommend anyone book this hotel unless they are okay with them cancelling your fully paid for room after you arrive. My mother and I arrived at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Mississauga–Toronto Southwest at approximately 11:30 PM after a long day of travel, expecting to check into our fully paid for and confirmed reservation that had been booked weeks in advance. Instead, we were told at the front desk that our room was cancelled due to "water damage." We had received no call, voicemail, email, text, or any warning before arriving. The staff claimed they called us, but no such call was ever received. The staff could not even find my reservation in their system and only had my name written on a piece of paper along with two other names. They didn't know which website I had used to book and said the day staff had deleted all my details and left them with no instructions. All these inconsistencies call into question the veracity of their claims. They tried calling me but didn't bother to leave a text, voicemail or email (which will leave a permanent record). The most upsetting part was not the room issue itself — unexpected maintenance problems can happen. The problem was how we were treated afterward. We were told to request a refund ourselves and find another hotel at midnight. When we asked them to arrange alternative accommodation, they told us we would have to pay ourselves first and the hotel would reimburse us "later" but would give no written promises. They kept saying they would email me with all the details, but I have still not received any communication from them. None of their actions instilled any trust that I would ever be reimbursed if I paid. They tried to coerce me to pay by saying if they lose the room reservation with the alternate hotel because I don't pay, they won't help me further. My mother and I spent almost two hours standing at the front desk late at night, exhausted and stressed, trying to get basic assistance for a reservation that the hotel had accepted and confirmed. There was no apology, no empathy, and no urgency from the staff. We were not even offered any water let alone refreshments. A hotel employee from the alternative hotel (Admiral Inn) had to inform us of our rights and explained to us that the hotel should arrange and pay for accommodation when they cannot honour a confirmed reservation and that we should not pay ourselves. He said that this is standard hotel policy and couldn't believe how Holiday Inn was treating two women in the middle of the night. At Admiral Inn, we were immediately offered refreshments and taken care of. We finally reached the alternate hotel around 1:30 AM. Holiday Inn verbally promised to issue a full refund and when I asked for written confirmation and they kept insisting that they would send an email. I am yet to receive any such email from them processing the refund. The interaction with the male front desk staff was extremely distressing. Their tone was confrontational, and I felt intimidated while trying to resolve the situation late at night. I felt unsafe being left in that position with my mother, without accommodation, and without clear assistance from the hotel. I understand that problems happen, but leaving guests stranded at midnight and making them fight for help is unacceptable. A hotel should make guests feel safe and cared for, not like they are a problem for inconveniencing the staff. I hope Holiday Inn/IHG reviews how this property handles situations like this because no traveller should experience this after paying in advance for a confirmed room.

The hotel itself is nice! The only downsides are the bed, which isn’t very comfortable, and the internet. 🛜 If I’m paying this much money, I expect to have reliable, high-speed internet. The internet isn’t just slow—it’s constantly disconnecting and often doesn’t work at all, which is very frustrating.

Breakfast was OK. Coffee was great! Eggs and sausages were also good as were the toast and muffins. Other options such a fruit, cereal, juice and yoghourt were also available. The beds were comfortable and the room was lovely. It was convenient to have a door separating the bedroom with the sitting area with bed couch. The staff was welcoming, kudos to John and the room was super clean. Good Wi-Fi a well.

The bathroom was small and the hotel was noisy at times being close to the highway. We found a partial solution by letting the AC Unit run all night which gave us white noise which enabled us to sleep. Also, a complimentary bottle of water would have been a nice touch.

Pillows were way too thin and I woke up with back pain. Also if there could be a little bit more fruits than just unripe bananas that would have be awesome.

Dirty room and although I asked for someone to come clean what was dirty they didn’t send anyone till the next morning. By that time I cleaned it myself.

The staff on the front desk were very helpful and pleasant, the room maids also helpful and pleasant. Breakfast staff again helpful and pleasant.

Unfortunately there was a ridiculous amount of very young security guards, this was due to the hotel accommodating homeless families, they were noisy argumentative towards the security staff, they unfortunately made us feel very uncomfortable. The swimming pool was not appealing at all so never got to use it.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but some fruit would have made it healthier.

Kids running around the hotel until the early hours of the morning. I was woken up at 2AM by my neighbours shouting and laughing with their kids.

The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay a wonderful experience. Sam, in particular, was amazing. Loved having washer/dryer on site. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Convenient location. Extremely clean. Will definitely stay again

The staff were always very friendly

The bathroom smelled strongly of pee, and what I was most disappointed about was that the pool was freezing cold; my children couldn't enjoy it. I chose this hotel because it had a pool, so I'm leaving very disappointed.

We recently stayed here for a basketball tournament. Check in was quick, slight hiccup with the room (we were supposed to have two beds), but was quickly resolved. Kids loved the pool and workout area. It was a quick ride to our sports venue, restaurants etc. Breakfast was good, lots of selection. Price point was also very reasonable.

When we got there i had booked with a debit visa card we weren’t allowed to check in and were told that they only accept major cards. When i said why didnt it say that on ihg they said well that is a them problem not mine huh. Then were told that we had to still pay for the room that we were past room cancel time and then when i finally changed to a card that i got a massive fee for using i got checked in for more than what it said on site with no assistance there. Then in a room stating sleeps 5 there was 2 towels we had to run down to get more they refused to bring up, also pull out bed no blanket or pillow again had to run down to get those. Then asked where ice was they said all floors nope 2 of the floors dont have them. No room cleaning despite me requesting the morning of 3rd day. Then i got blamed when card didnt work. Overall bad experience will never stay there again!

The bed had large sags in the mattress...clearly not been updated in a while.

We loved the heated pool! It was best. Main reason we'll stay there again.

It was okay. Staff was nice. This is my go-to hotel for this area.

Some of the fixtures in the washroom were a bit loose, and it would be nice if breakfast would end later.

i feel like our room was rushed to be cleaned. as our pull out couch had dirty sheet which i had to ask for clean sheets. also disappointed that i had to ask for blanket and pillows for the pull out couch. our floor was no swept as there was big clumps of hair on the floor

There was no werer to indicate when I made my reservations about a dog. $75.00 fir one night was extreme My credit card would go through. I had to come down stairs 4 times because my room keys did not work. No towel at the pool. Your add said $99.00 for one night. Closer to $200.00

I loved that the property had parking, a gym, sauna and pool. The continental breakfast was great and the property is well maintained and clean.

I stayed in room 215 and the pull out couch had a slight pee smell when you sat on it, you can smell it.

Very clean, smells good everywhere and most importantly is the customer service and shout out to John he was amazing and very helpful.

I like that the rooms had no carpet.

Smart TV would be a great upgrade to rooms

Location is really good. Clean apartment, speciallytge bathroom was super clean. Nice sofa and TV size. Comfetaable bed and pilows. Liked the complementary breakfast as well

BEWARE - Parking lot is a hot spot for breakins, vandalism and theft. Front desk was asked specifically and I was told no problems. Very safe etc. THOUSANDS of dollars in damage and the management told me it's not their problem. Other than that - stay was okay. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff are good. Breakfast is okay at best. Make sure you have GREAT Car insurance before considering a stay here.

Great Breakfast and easy to get to

The breakfast menu was well spread and portions and taste was good as well.

The breakfast timing could be enhanced till 10 am. Also, please provide some complimentary water bottles in the room - every other hotel does that. It is not fair to charge for basic amenities like drinking water.

The room was cold, the shower water was cold. The staff asked me to send someone/ come and collect the extra blankets from reception when called to complain for room being cold. I was travelling alone.

Not much restaurants nearby

Had to have some eye surgery at Credit valley hospital.. stayed overnight prior to surgery and then stayed over for an after surgery visit the next day. The hotel was very nice..great breakfast ..nicely renovated and clean.. served our needs.. staff excellent..great location.. was a short uber ride to hospital.. would recommend this place as a great place to stay for hospital visits..
