Such an enjoyable stay! I booked this the day of and was SO impressed. I visited with my parents and all three of us loved the property and truly enjoyed our stay. It was about a month ago now and we all still talk about it. We were so pleasantly surprised. It isn't a luxury hotel but it is clean and the staff and very friendly and the location is amazing. The little town of Radda in Chianti is absolutely charming!

There isn't a bunch to do in the town so I probably wouldn't stay for a long trip unless you use it as a home base for other spots but it is still beautiful and worth the stay.

La chambre est spacieuse et très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très bon ; le produits proposés sont vraiment exceptionnels. Le personnel est serviable et à l'écoute. Le spa est un endroit très reposant. Le restaurant est très bon. Les plats nous ont été conseillés. A refaire.

Les 3 piscines indiquées sur Booking ne sont pas dans l'hôtel. Il est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas la climatisation dans la salle du petit déjeuner car il faisait très chaud.

Solo la mancanza di ascensore per alcune stanze, che per noi non è stato un problema ma per una mamma con carrozzina lo sarebbe.

Vivendo a Roma cercavamo una struttura immersa nel silenzio e nella tranquillità e cosí é stato. La posizione magnifica, con vista sulle colline del Chianti. Molto apprezzata la piscina ma soprattutto l’idromassaggio che non chiudeva mai quindi nella notte abbiamo fatto il bagno sotto le stelle cadenti! Buona la colazione.

L’unica cosa che rovina la qualità della struttura é indubbiamente la NON-professionalità della cameriera bionda al ristorante in servizio la sera. Abbiamo fatto due cene e la sua non professionalità ha persistito. Un piccolo esempio: Eravamo in terrazza e abbiamo chiesto il menú e lei ci ha risposto “cosa volete? un primo? un secondo?” e ovviamente abbiamo chiesto di darci il menu e la sua risposta é stata “Eh il menu peró devo andarlo a prendere al piano di sotto”. E quindi? Al ristorante si deve consultare il menu al mio paese. Dopo averci portato il menu dopo aver insistito, stava prendendo l’ordinazione e dopo i primi stavamo ordinando il vino e mentre parlavamo ci ha lasciato per portare il conto ad un altro cliente senza dire niente .Ma da quando non si finisce di prendere una comanda? Prende la comanda e chiediamo come fosse il branzino e la sua risposta “eh .. non so… lo cucinano”. Ah ok. Non rovinate la bellezza della vostra struttura e servizi con uno staff incompenente! Da migliorare lo staff e anche la qualità della cucina.

la habitación es enorme , puesta con un gusto increíble . La cama súper cómoda . Todo es sobresaliente ! Lo súper recomiendo ,Volveré , gracias !

Das es eine zeitliche Begrenzung für die Nutzung der "Pools" gab, unter einem Wellnesshotel stelle ich mir etwas anders vor....

Le luxe et les petites attentions, attribuées tout en étant dans le cœur de Radda in Chianti!!! La nourriture, servi dans les deux restaurants étaient excellente et la vue sur la terrasse au deuxième étage, un coup de cœur!

Un lugar para descansar con 4 estrellas no cuidó los detalles. La habitación que nos dieron desde las 7 de la mañana los ruidos de las camareras de piso que utilizan la sala contigua a la habitación 29 para reuniones y llamadas telefónicas. Mala experiencia si deseas descansar y dormir por la mañana hasta el horario de desayuno

El desayuno muy completo y muy amable el personal que trabajaba en ese momento. Hotel bien ubicado y habitación amplia, limpia y cómoda.

El personal de recepción podría ser más atento y dar las indicaciones con mayor interés. El hotel es muy grande con diferentes edificios y son necesarias esas indicaciones. Las almohadas son incómodas

Unfortunately the cleaning was bad. Hash tray full of cigarette in the room from the previous ghests , food on the floor . Also , swimming pool , spa everything need to be out of the hotel. 2 Jacuzzi of 6 peoples for 3 hotels , always full. ‘Very disappointed of this hotel to be honest . Shame because they have the capacity to be very great

Wunderschöner, historischer Palast. Sehr grosse Hotelzimmer mit Sofa und Sesseln, aussergewöhnlich reichhaltiges Frühstück, sehr zuvorkommender Service. Die Dame hat uns täglich zwei Tische zusammengeschoben (2 Paare), herrliches Ambiente, Weinprobe in historischem Raum, absolut empfehlenswert

Beautiful hotel in the downtown (ZTL) area of Radda. (ZTL stands for Zona a Traffico Limitato (Limited Traffic Zone).) We were able to drive our car through the restricted area to drop our luggage. The room was in an adjacent building and staff helped us carry our bags to the second floor. We requested a twin room with a bathtub, if possible. We were put in a huge room with a freestanding bathtub (and separate bath and shower). It looks like this was an upgrade. Clean, comfortable, modern and quiet. The air conditioning worked great, even though there was a heatwave during our stay. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. Location was right in the center of the town, easy walking to the entire town. Free street parking was available a short walk away, outside of the city walls.

Radda and Palazzo Dimora Leopoldo in Chianti has been the most incredible place in Italy. It is Amalfi without the coast but better because there are no crowds, no instagrammers, no annoying tourists. The people who are there are there for the beauty, the culture, ambiance and peace. Everyone is so polite to each other. There is respect and kindness. Will definitely return. Sylvia ( blue haired server) was the greatest. Grazie Mille!!

Very traditional well preserved hotel with lots of antique furniture. Lovely large terrace with spectacular views. Comfortable bedroom and food bathroom.

One room didn’t have coffee and tea facilities and air conditioning wasn’t powerful enough. However this is a very small minus from a great stay.

Hotel muy bien puesto y ambientado y decorado sobre antiguas casonas de Radda y Chianti. La decoración, los detalles en los espacios comunes, habitacionesy las vistas son inreibles. AL ser casonas viejas, a veces la conexiones son algo complicadas, o las habitaciones en otros edificios del hotel, pero no deja de ser pintoresco al mismo tiempo. Si bien no tienen piscina, tienen unos hidromasajes muy bien puestos en una zona dond euno puede relajarse y disrutar. Camas super comodas, habitacion amplia y silenciosa, y baños amplios y muy bieen equipados. Ubicación y servicio inmejorable. Cuenta con cochera para biciletas para guardar / cargar las bicis. Dan ganas de volver!

Nada para criticar, solo que sepan que las habitacione s/ edificios del hotel estan repartidas en la misma manzana y a algunas personas puede ser algo molesto. A nosotros no nos molestó.

Posizione fantastica in uno dei borghi piu'belli del Chianti, struttura che ha voluto mantenere la sua storicita' senza pero' risultare trascurata. Personale e staff cordiale e professionale, ristorante La Perla del Palazzo di nome e di fatto :) Torneremo sicuramente.

Uns hat in der Unterkunft absolut alles gefallen: ein großes Zimmer mit zwei Räumen, hundefreundlich gegen Aufpreis, gut erreichbare private Parkplätze und sehr freundliches Personal. Radda in Chianti war eine perfekte Wahl mit guter Anbindung in der Toskana und viel Ruhe – gerne wieder!

This was our second visit to the Chianti region, and this time we decided to stay somewhere new. Palazzo Leopoldo is a beautiful historic property, full of character and charm. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well appointed, and the location is ideal for exploring the Tuscan countryside. One thing future guests should be aware of is that, because of the age and layout of the building, there are a lot of stairs. Our room was at the very top of the hotel, which wasn't a problem for us, but it could be challenging for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. It's worth requesting a lower-floor room if accessibility is a concern. Unfortunately, our experience with the reception staff was disappointing. They were not welcoming, came across as curt and unfriendly, never smiled, and often seemed annoyed when we asked for information or recommendations. First impressions are important, and the reception team sets the tone for a guest's entire stay. Sadly, the welcome we received fell well below what we expected from a hotel of this standard. Thankfully, the breakfast team more than made up for it, especially Sylvia. She greeted us every morning with a warm smile, genuine friendliness, and exceptional hospitality. Her positive attitude made breakfast a highlight of each day and was such a lovely way to begin the morning. She is a real asset to the hotel. She knew I love cappuccino and every morning when she saw me enter the restaurant, she immediately served me my cappuccino. We kregen bij aankomst een upgrade naar een grote kamer. Centrale ligging, vriendelijk personeel, uitgebreid ontbijt en fijn dat de auto voor de receptie geparkeerd kon worden ivm baggage. Tip: ga naar het restaurantje ‘Dante’ op de hoek voor de allerlekkerste tiramisu

We vonden het jammer dat er geen buitenzwembad bij zat. Verder perfect

La tessera vini idea simpatica ma con costi assurdi troppi alti rispetto allo standard.

La amplitud de las habitaciones, la cama muy comoda, los baños estan nuevos y en perfecto estado. El desayuno vale la pena, ingredientes frescos y de calidad .

La piscina interior climatizada venian incluidos 45 mins dentro de la tarifa, esta bastante descuidada, solo tiene un chorro a presión y la decoración no viene al caso, es una lastima, espero que se pueda mejorar pronto.

Camera ampia con letto comodo. Ottima colazione.

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Radda. Alles war damit zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Hotel bietet einen umfassenden Service und mehrere Restaurants. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut

Das Hotel besteht innerhalb der Altstadt aus mehreren Gebäuden. So dass es ein kleines Spiel ist, wo man am Ende untergebracht ist, aber alles etwa 50 m vom Abthaus entfernt. Anreisen muss man leider über die Fußgängerzone, die 20 Minuten lang befahrbar ist, wenn man das Kennzeichen meldet. Ein Parkplatz steht auf den Terrassenebenen unterhalb von Radar K 100 m zu Fuß über Treppen erreichbar. Für Fußkranke ist das Hotel definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Nice boutique hotel in Radda. The hotel is located in several historical buildings with views over the Chianti countryside. We enjoyed our stay here and they offer a very nice buffet breakfast. My only caution would be this is not a great place to stay for those with limited mobility or who have issues with stairs. Lots of stairs and no elevators. Not a problem for us, but something to consider before booking
