La comida fue espectacular, los empleados todos en general muy amables, la piscina y la vista al mar es preciosa. Excelente sin niños y sin TimeShare
The resort was amazing. Beautiful views of the ocean, and sunrise (when not cloudy lol) from our ocean facing room. Entrance is amazing with the view of the ocean as soon as you drive up. All the workers were very friendly and accommodating, & the shower was the best out of the country shower I’ve ever had, great water pressure lol. All the different restaurants were pretty good. Food was definitely very fresh. Drinks could’ve been a tad hit stronger but I have a high tolerance lol.
Nothing I can think of. Everything was amazing!!!
I absolutely loved everything, the staff were very friendly and the food was great. Definitely coming back.
Todo elbalojamiento esta Genial
El buffet con muy pocas opciones y las bebidas no usan nada de alcohol jaja
Me encantó todo! La comida súper riquísima y el servicio muy bien, todos muy amables. Definitivamente regresaré.

The room, views, pools were all amazing. The infinity pools right on the ocean with crashing waves was unforgettable and lots of umbrellas for shade. Loved sitting on our ocean view balcony with coffee every morning. The dining options were also much better than I expected. The staff was lovely and helpful.
Getting food by the pool and I’m room dining can take a very long time. One day we waited over an hour for our food to come. They also charge you for any bottle of wine to the room and the wine options were very upcharged and not good. While there are always chairs available, people do go put their towels on spots at like 7am, and we’re all gone by 8:30am.
Certain staff were nice
I got very sick by the property’s food. I got sick the second day there with continuous vomiting. I couldn’t even drink water, I would vomit instantly, I went to the ER as soon as I got back to the United States and they identified that I got salmonella. This resort serves contaminated food and didn’t offer any refund/compensation for getting me sick.
Dinner on beach, pools, food, service. A true 5* luxury spa and resort
This is an adult only, all inclusive and it was well worth the cost. Everything was immaculate, the food was amazing and the spa was beautiful and we felt spoiled!!
The beds were comfortable but the pillows were tiny and would go flat easily. The pasta at the Italian restaurant was so-so, but their pizza and desserts were very good. All the other food was incredible. We especially loved Vista Belinas breakfast. This is me trying to find something wrong. Really, nothing bad here!!
rooms were nice
for the price of the resort the food was not good
It was breathtaking. The views were just a constant dream.
Staff very friendly, Pool was heated
Was offered upgrade at check in from a std king to the casita that would have ended up being $2k less than we paid for the casita.
Great staff and rooms the pool was awesome for relaxing
Can’t swim on the beach but no big deal
Beautiful property and outstanding service! The room was gorgeous as were the pools. The restaurants were great, especially Sakke! Highly recommend Marquis!
Fabulous!!!
Beautiful property and beyond excellent service! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The restaurants were very good, especially Sakke. Pools were sparkling and always seats available.
We had a great time love the food and drinks
Marquis is a beautiful property with stunning outdoor ambiance. The food was good overall, though not outstanding. The clear highlight was the Teppanyaki restaurant—definitely one of the best meals we had and our chef was VERY FUN and ENTERTAINING. Skip the Italian pastas at the Italian place and go for the salmon or steak instead. The drinks were very weak and watered down, which was disappointing, but the service throughout the resort was excellent. Our room was spotless, and housekeeping did a fantastic job each day. The pool area was lovely and we never had trouble finding chairs, unless you were particular about location. The price was great for a quick getaway with girlfriends, and I would stay again despite a few shortcomings. We also booked spa treatments at check-in—a mini facial and a 60-minute massage—and both were wonderful. Highly recommend the spa experience! We enjoyed the entertainment each night, DJ, live music and dancing but if you want BIG nightlife, go downtown.
Very nice location, but needs facilities work. Many leaks in ceilings
Yes fresh food fir the most part, friendly knowledgable staff, no alcohol in the suite, i did not like that part, you had to ask and they would send a glass up to your room???, in which you dont know what they'serving you, what brand etc.
The view was beautiful. The resort is very nice and the staff were very friendly.
Amazing service! Will definitely be back
The hotel needs some renovations. We had a very nice room, but it lacked any technological advantages like the usb outlets working, a bathroom fan, radio outlets that work on a new iPhone or a good music stereo/alarm, shower that got warmer than lukewarm, etc. There’s also a lack of privacy with their front windows that don’t have covers or shades and people can look in at any time. The view from our oceanfront room was gorgeous but the beach was too dangerous for anyone to be permitted in the water unless walking to the neighboring hotel. We got really messed over by their charter service when we arrived. If you choose to book with them, don’t bother emailing because they won’t respond until the time is up to make a reservation (no less than 24 hrs isn’t going to work). And watch out at the airport because you can get sucked into none timeshare presentations when you just need a ride to your hotel. It’s not only in the first room, but second room after that too. The gym was on the smaller side but had a good selection of weights, machines, treadmills, etc. it was clean too. The spa treatments we had (scrub and massage) were nice. The spa center itself needs upgrades. The locker room isn’t great and the waiting area with spa/pool is just ok.
The property is beautiful. The staff was friendly. There were lots of planned events throughout the day.
Palm trees were taking up the view of the ocean.
Overall the stay was good. We only noticed the bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned, as there was hair from the previous guest on the bathroom wall.
Awesome place! Would recommend to anyone!
The property itself was well-maintained and visually appealing. However, I was disappointed that upon arrival the staff immediately encouraged my boyfriend to pay an additional $600 to “upgrade” to a room that was essentially the same as the one we had already booked, only slightly closer to the pool, and without any added amenities to justify the extra cost. I was also surprised that the signature onsite restaurant required an additional $140 per person, despite the resort being advertised as all-inclusive, especially considering we had already paid $5,000 for a four-night stay.
I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent service we received during our stay at the Marquis. My best friend and I planned this for my 50th birthday, and I had high hopes for a "perfect" trip. There wasn't a moment when I didn't feel spoiled and taken care of. This was a birthday gift to myself, and wow, it exceeded all my expectations. Bryan at the front desk went above and beyond for us on several occasions and truly took such good care of us. We also want to recognize the outstanding service from the pool staff—Isabel and David, along with Donald at Sakke, who were incredible. On our final evening, dining at Canto del Mar was the perfect way to end our trip. Unfortunately, I do not recall the names of the servers there, but their service was flawless and left a lasting impression. Housekeeping was spectacular. Our room was wonderfully clean, and we never had to wait for anything. The towels were always fresh, and the staff was incredibly respectful with our belongings. The nightly turndown service felt indulgent and added a special touch to our stay. The food was excellent everywhere we ate, and the views were absolutely stunning—truly the perfect backdrop for dinners. What stood out most was that I never had to ask for help; someone was always there, ready to assist with kindness and professionalism. EVERY place we ate the food was terrific. We actually made the mistake of going into town for another dinner to try it. Didn't hold a candle to the food
Elevators were slow. Great property and staff though.
The property was nice. Very clean, staff very friendly. Service was some of the best I have had at an All Inclusive.
Hotel was beautiful, serene and relaxing. Room was perfect and beds comfy and a/c cold. Mini fridge kept stocked everyday (tip sugar free soda only available in this area)Housekeeping did a fabulous job as well . Pools were clean and the perfect temperature and the staff around the pool Amazing!!! Serigio and Mericruz were top notch. Lots of dining options ( but be sure to make reservations beforehand) and the food was pretty good, with some things that were spectacular (tempiaki restaurant) to some that were just ok. Loved the coffee shop and their icecream and and panini is a must.It is a quieter resort but there was always activity somewhere at night with some great shows. My only negative would be a need for an air-conditioned bar in the evening and possibly a shaded area somewhere in the pool to escape the rays at times.
This hotel was amazing!! The staff was so friendly and provided the best service. The pool side service for drinks was ok, at times it was a bit slow and we got the wrong food items once but it was still great!! Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway vibe :)
Disappointed from the alcohol quality, Food OK not high quality, the maintenance around the property is sloppy, it's okay hotel but don't deserve this high score on Expedia.
Had a amazing time definitely will go back again.
Exceptional service and good. The amenities were spectacular with shows Pools and games. Would highly recommend
Ocean view room nice and was very clean. staff very friendly and attentive to your needs.
Pros: EXCELLENT STAFF. Stunning property with views of the ocean. Cons: everywhere has swarms of flies. I could not enjoy the pool because of the number of flies. There were also flies on the omelette station and all the food out in the open. The food options were very limited. Some spots were either not open or had an up-charge. You should be more transparent with guests about the limited food offerings. Especially since you advertise your hotel as all inclusive. Esp at over $500/night.
Loved it
Rooms smell like mildew and mold, we had to change rooms twice. Reservations necessary for every restaurant however you can’t make a reservation in advance so impossible to get into a decent one. Food altogether is mediocre at best. Elevators don’t work many days. Requested something special for my husbands birthday for the room and nothing was done for either his birthday or mine.
Ocean view was amazing.
The staff was very attentive and always courteous. Adriana, Jose, Glenda just to name a few were exemtional. The food was very good. Lunch at the pool was always fresh. A pool bar would be a nice touch.
The casita was so beautiful and it will forever be a beautiful memory, the only issue were the elevators, other than that such a beautiful resort.
This was our second trip to the Marquis. We will be back again. Great staff, food and grounds.
Beautiful
We enjoyed our stay at the Marquis. The property is beautiful and clean. The service was excellent. The food and drinks were great.
Ocean view Too many stairs
Room is clean, and every room is ocean view! Bathrooms are huge!!
Great quality foods, events, staff and service!
The food wasn’t good.
Wished some of the elevators were not down but other than that…EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!!!!!
Beautiful resort, great service. Only issue was ants in our room.
Amazing! Wonderful staff, quiet, relaxing. Well be back for sure.
Amazing entrance, great views, friendly staff, good food. Only positive things to say.
Good food and service
The staff was extremely pleasant, the line of communication was phenomenal before I even got to the resort, upon arrival I was greeted with a drink and a cold towl I extremely loved that. Now before I get into the great things I'll express my dislikes. The none of the main elevators weren't working, the alcoholic beverages weren't the best, and the food was mostly cold and most of the time I had to request for it to be made fresh. Or if I had forgot its like I ate a little bit of what I got and left it there which I hate to do because its wasting food unfortunately. But on to the good things. I specifically would like to recognize Marco (he serves inside the breakfast area and also at the restaurant by the pool) & Carlos (he handles the egg sationton outside during breakfast) both gentlemen provided great customer service. I would like to recognize Gabby from the spa she was so pleasant and kind and the service from her was on point, my room was phenomenal I had a wonderful ocean view, the cleanliness, the toiletries they offer, they actually come clean your room and do well, they make sure they stop each room to see if you need more water, tows etc. Everything was great in my opinion and I would truly stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Service was amazing! Love the food too. The breakfast buffet is great
Beautiful location. Pretty buildings. But the property is showing its age. Faucets were loose and the shower took about 40 spins in either direction to turn on or off. Very low pressure. We stayed in the master suite
Beautiful Location! Excellent staff and food quality. I would stay here again.
Great
The resort was nice , the food was good and they had premium liquor. Jose took care of us during the day. And Fidel took care of us at night.
I enjoyed my stay! The weather was bad and it didn’t seem like the resort was prepared for it or how to handle it. The food was excellent and I would go back, but not during hurricane season. Lol
If you end up at the Marquis resort during rainy conditions, expect the worst vacation of your life. This resort almost completely shuts down and does not communicate with guests. Heres a list of things we experienced during our stay (keep in mind it rained on and off). 1. The resort closed the pools and deemed them to be “unsafe”. Even when the sun was shining they had security standing by the pools telling us we weren’t allowed in the pools. 2. They took all the towels away from the pools and didn’t provide guests with towels. 3. They closed the bar that’s on the same level as the pools. If you want a drink you have to climb multiple flights of stairs, stand in a long line and wait for your drink. Waiters hardly came around to pool area. At one point the only bar that was open told us the only option they had for drinks was “prison water” (beer). I have never heard of an all inclusive resorts denying guests drink options and only serving beer. 4. They closed the majority of the dining options. They closed many options for dinner and we were denied entrance to the only 2 options open for dinner because “we didn’t have a reservation”. AT AN ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT. Were told to go to the conference room and eat in there. After finally being allowed to eat in one of the restaurants, it was 50% empty. 5. Entertainment during the day and evening was cancelled. They had a screen in the conference room for entertainment Could go on but limited in characters. Worst resort ever
The staff is fantastic and the vibe is fun. The location is great, with a number of infinity pools right on the beach. The rooms themselves are also surprisingly nice. Even their base rooms are massive and have great ocean views. All food and drink is great, with the glaring exception of dinners. Lunches are excellent with fun selection. Dinners are.. pretty mediocre. They try to be unique/inventive but so much falls flat. We did not try the paid restaurant. Finally, the resort overall feels just a little dated. It could use some TLC to make it feel premium again. We'd definitely recommend the resort, but would keep expectations for dinners low.
The views were stunning and exactly as advertised, and the room was spacious and true to the photos. However, a storm during our stay exposed some issues with the property’s infrastructure—there was poor drainage, multiple leaks throughout the building, and about 2 inches of standing water on the balcony, making it unusable for most of our stay. We were only able to enjoy the balcony for one day. The storm also made it difficult to navigate the property, as the main elevators were out of service. Guests had to rely on the service elevator or stairs to get around, which was inconvenient. The food on the property was average overall, though Sakke and Pergola stood out as the best dining options. The pizza from Pergola was especially delicious! Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy it beyond the second day due to the weather.
The food, drinks, and especially the service were excellent.
My experience got alittle choppy my last 2 days there. It rained so housekeeping became scarce and our bathroom flooded with water, however, when I called them they eventually fixed the situations. Some of our reservations were mixed up but the staff was amazing in fixing the issues. I will be a repeat visitor the property again.
Service and food was excellent . Drinks need to be upper scale . Toilets in restroom a little low, need higher toilets .
I found the communication and management of the venue below substandard this was our honeymoon we travelled from Australia. The venue was in a non functional capacity. We left the property for another and are still fighting for a refund..
Room was beautiful and room service was prompt and very good. Only 1 bar was open and it was super slow. Limited alcohol selection. Elevators were broken, restaurants were closed and hot tubs were drained after paying for spa treatment.
We happen to come when Hurricane Lorena was passing by. The hotel was impacted and suffered a few leaks and delay in some services as expected. However, the service was excellent and they went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. Good restaurant choices were great-fresh and delicious and drinks were on par. Highly recommend.
My casita with the ocean view was flooded from the rain in the bathroom with rain draining from the ceiling of the bathroom, living room and bedroom. Our clothes in the closet got wet from the rain. We had to cover ourselves with a towel to use the bathroom. Maintenance mopped up the rain the next morning and gave us 6 buckets for the leaking roof. My family and I made reservations for dinner and had to wait 45 minutes only to be seated in chairs that were wet. The roof was also leaking in the only restaurant that was open for breakfast for all guests and we weren't allowed to make reservations and in room service dining was not allowed. The elevators also were not working and we had to walk up 70-80 stairs. The beverages that were included in your room were beer, water and sodas. Therefore you had to pay extra for either a bottle of tequila or even the tiny shot bottles. The pull out sleeper sofa was dusty, grimy and had no linen. Our plunge pool had a stain ring of dirt around it. Would not recommend this hotel by any means.
3rd time visiting and nothing has changed on the hotel same decor tables chairs they have not done anything to improve. Staff at the pool were not grateful or helpful waited over one hour and had to wave someone down in order to get a drink
Amazing
Everything was perfect
Great! Food and service was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Staff/service was not the best. Very slow.
This resort is for the 50 and older crew. This is little to none entertainment and staff are slow with drinks. Also there is no swim up bar or music. The resort is very beautiful tho.
Love the resort
It was an amazing experience
We loved our stay at the Marquis. The staff were so friendly. The facilities awesome Highly recommended
Very beautiful property and excellent staff. Food was wonderful.
The staff is extremely attentive. The resort is very clean. The size of the pool is beyond great, so big and water is perfect temperature. We enjoyed it so much.
Resort looks nice with good views, but far from 5-star. Stayed a week with family/friends and too many issues made it not worth the cost. Major Issues: • Cold showers for 2 days • Over $2,000 USD missing • Staff entered room without permission • Calls 3–4 times daily despite repeated requests, plus knocks with “Do Not Disturb” posted • Drinks seemed watered down • No late-night entertainment or dancing • Leftover food sat for 2 days • Belongings tampered with, management did nothing • Birthday girl lost the most and was offered nothing • Inconsistent food, some off (fish) and several in our group got sick • Spa prices 3x U.S. rates • Gym closed often or reeked of chemicals • Check-in delays up to 4 hours • Bugs/lizards in rooms, patios unusable at night • Groups of unsupervised teens hanging around maybe from Hilton Pros: • Adults only, no kids • Some staff kind and attentive • Some meals good; breakfast decent • Hibachi/sushi and fire show entertaining • Gym had good equipment when open • Café service nice • Outside the resort, pop-up spa toward Hilton was excellent ($60/hr Swedish/Thai massage) • A few activities (art, swim dance) were fun I’ve worked 10 years in hotel/casino/restaurant service and know how recovery should look. Here, there was no accountability or effort to make things right. Basically Pretty setting, but serious issues outweighed the positives. Not worth it for the price.
Beautiful property, great customer service, good food and drinks. I would definitely return. You just cannot get into the beach at the resort which is fairly common around Cabo
We had a great experience at the Marquis! Very calm, but they also had daily activities and live entertainment every night we were there. We also had a room with a splash pool, which I would also highly recommend!
If I could give zero stars, I would!! This was by far the worst “luxury” resort experience I’ve ever had. The housekeeping stole directly out of our rooms, and staff went through our personal belongings. The safes were broken, so there was no secure place to store valuables. When we reported this, management was dismissive, unhelpful, and made no effort to resolve the situation. There were also giant cockroaches in the rooms, and a terrible smell coming from the sink. On top of that, the staff and servers were unprofessional, the food was not great, and the service was slow for not even being very busy. For the amount of money we paid, I expected a high level of customer service and security, neither of which existed here. Now, to make matters worse, the resort has been completely unresponsive to both myself and Expedia. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration, this place is absolutely not worth the price or the stress.
Clean, comfortable, and luxurious! Wonderful staff who made it extra special. M
This hotel was absolutely breathtaking from the views to the presentation, to the excellent staff we were treated and greeted with such reception. The food was amazingly fresh and the love that was taken to prepare each, and every meal was absolutely riveting. I want to give a special shout out to Galinda. She took care of us every morning at brunch and she was just an angel. The pool staff was so attentive, especially Sergio, and Eddie.
Great vacation . Great location . Great staff
We liked how it was quiet and the food options at the restaurants were unique and amazing!! We thought the staff could’ve been more on top of picking up dishes for room service, and also wish we had access to the beach in the resort. Overall we enjoyed our stay!!!
Just right for an adults only quite getaway. Plenty of activities. Good food choices. Not a party hotel like the Riu.
very good food!
It was wonderful property. We enjoyed every aspect of it!! Would return !!
Beautiful resort excellent staff Quieter at night not too much entertainment Sunday through Wednesday
