Muy bonito el hotel, el desayuno estuvo muy rico y variado, las piscinas y jacuzzi les da el plus, muy cómodo la verdad nos sorprendió con mi familia, Recomendado claro que volvería a ir.

Hay algunas habitaciones que no tienen acceso fácil a las amenidades, hay que atravesarse el restaurante o dar una gran vuelta en el parqueo, pero no es algo que no se peuda hacer.

Room was spacious but was very very dated. Needs a total refresh. Mismatching dated furniture, all very dark. Horrible carpet, bathroom was amber, shower over bath with a shower curtain. I wouldn’t have minded but we paid €200 and were expecting better. The Oakhurst restaurant did good dinner, but again decor very dated with stinking carpet causing a bad odour in the place, breakfast was so so. Overall place might be clean but for the standard of the accommodation they’re charging way too much, £200 a night in Uk would get you a 4/5 star hotel.

Close to Yosemite around 25 miles to the south entrance. The gentlemen at the front fesk was very helpful. Beds were comfortable and clean.

The check in was very pleasant. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and polite. The full breakfast was very good and a perfect way to start a full day of tourism and hiking. The grounds are stunning and lush.

The "heated" pool was extremely cold, like never get used to it cold. The decor is definitely late 70's early 80's vibe, but it was clean and well maintained.

There are definitely some good points about this Best Western, but unfortunately our first impression was not a good one. After arriving following a 12-hour drive, the last thing we expected was such an unwelcoming check-in experience. The young man on reception came across as borderline rude and, more than anything, simply gave the impression that he could not be bothered. We asked whether the hotel restaurant was still serving food and received a one-word answer: “No.” We then asked if there was anywhere else nearby where we could get something to eat and were simply told, “No, everywhere closes at 9pm.” After pressing further and specifically asking if he could recommend anywhere we could drive to for food, he suddenly produced a list of fast-food places in the area that were still open. There was very little conversation or attempt to actually help us — we were basically just handed the list. There was also no explanation of the hotel facilities or anything else that might have been useful after such a long journey. It was essentially: here is your room, you have nothing to pay, goodbye. It actually reminded me a little of Kiosk Keith from I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! 🤣 Unfortunately, after a 12-hour drive, we weren’t really in the mood for the Kiosk Keith experience! Thankfully, things improved from there. We ate in the hotel restaurant on another occasion and the service was excellent and the food was good. Breakfast was fairly basic, but again it was very good. Another big positive is the guest laundry. For around $5 we were able to wash and dry our clothes, which was incredibly useful when travelling. The rooms were also quiet and there was plenty of parking. We didn’t use the pool or the other facilities simply because we didn’t have enough time, so I can’t comment on those. The biggest issue with the accommodation itself is that the rooms are seriously dated and desperately need renovating. The bathroom was beige and looked like something straight out of the late 1970s. The air conditioning worked well, but it was unbelievably noisy. Overall, there are some genuinely good things here: quiet rooms, plentiful parking, a useful and inexpensive laundry, good food and excellent restaurant service. However, the rooms badly need modernising and our initial experience at reception was extremely disappointing. After a 12-hour drive, a friendly welcome and a little helpful information would have made a huge difference.

Ruime kamer en badkamer. Fijn zwembad met handdoeken. Ik hou van de seqouia sfeer die ze hebben neergezet alleen echt jammer dat er geen bar is in die mooie gezellige lobby waar nu dus niemand gebruik van maakt. Ik denk dat dit vroeger anders was voor het werd overgenomen door Best Western.

Luide airco! In de gym was de airco kapot dus geen gebruik van gemaakt. De lounge is wel leuk om te zitten alleen op zaterdag mocht onze dochter van 10 er niet in omdat het als bar werd bestempeld. Op zondag wel....

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, although a little dark for our taste, but that did not bother us in the end. We loved the pool and spent a relaxing afternoon there. The on-site restaurant was fabulous, serving both an excellent breakfast and a very good dinner. This property truly deserves the “Plus” in Best Western Plus—it felt like a step above a standard hotel. I also enjoyed learning the story of the people who built the place. They clearly put a lot of care into it and created a wonderful atmosphere. The property also features truly unique artwork, including beautiful wall paintings of Yosemite created by the original owners. This was a wonderful and very personal touch.

I liked the location and the parking right in front of the room.

I dislikes the AC in the room. It was located on the bottom of the wall and wasn't cooling evenly. It was freezing part of the room, however, the other part was remaining hot. The bathroom was not good, with a very small sized toilet and shower.

Really nice hotel with spacious, clean rooms and great facilities. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice, and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The hotel has a lovely mountain lodge atmosphere and is in a great location for visiting Yosemite National Park. Friendly staff and a comfortable stay overall.

Nothing major. The hotel is a little old-fashioned in terms of décor, but it is clean, well maintained, and adds to the mountain lodge charm.

The property was neat and clean, with beautifully maintained gardens surrounding the buildings. The service was friendly and helpful, and having a restaurant on site was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay!

The room wasn’t very clean, found someone else’s sock in our room. Minimal toiletries. The fridge didn’t work very well.

A great location for accessing Yosemite. Good pools open into the late evening. The restaurant was good with a lot of choice on the menu and I particularly enjoyed the whiskey menu!

There is no where for families to be in the evening after eating. The bar does not allow kids and there is no where else on site or in walking distance to go so had to go back to the room.

We stayed in about 20 hotels on this trip and this one was the best managed of all. Fair price clean had a great breakfast.

We loved our stay! The location is fantastic. Very walkable. We enjoyed watching the afternoon/nightly storms with their lightning show from the comfort of the poolside lounges.

The only downside was the loud air conditioning in the room at night.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war deutlich größer als erwartet und mit drei Queen-Size in zwei Zimmern ausgestattet. Zudem gab es Kühlschrank und eine kleine Kochnische. Auch ein Wellnessbereich war vorhanden, welchen wir aber nicht genutzt hatten. Das inkludierte Frühstück war durchaus angemessen und ausreichend, um in den Tag zu starten.

Bauartbedingt waren Gäste, die das Hotel schon frühzeitig verlassen haben, deutlich an den vorbei rollenden Koffern zu hören. Das hatte ein bisschen Bahnhofsatmosphäre. Nicht dramatisch schlimm und hat dem Gesamteindruck nicht geschadet.

Amazing hotel - so authentic, unique and in keeping with the vibe of Oakhurst/Yosemite. Fantastic large bedrooms and comfy beds. Both swimming pools were great - we particularly loved the outside one. Breakfast was lovely and had lots of options. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Would 100% recommend.

L'emplacement est super . Les logements sont spacieux et dans un environnement calme. La piscine intérieur etait agréable et le petit dejeuner au top.

L’emplacement au milieu de la forêt est top, tout comme la chambre, le petit déjeuné ou encore les 2 piscines. Nous avons également testé le restaurant qui est vraiment bon.

Le seul bémol concerne le restaurant : il est impossible de réserver et dès 19h il y a environ 45minutes d’attentes pour pouvoir être installé … La Clim est un peu bruyante mais rien d’alarmant non plus.

Nice room and we enjoy being on the hill in the trees and sitting on the little balcony. The position of the rooms on the hill means they are fairly quiet even though the hotel is on a main highway. Good to have a second sink. We also always enjoy a quick dip in the pool. Nice restaurant. Good location.

Het lijkt op een klein vakantiepark, dat is erg leuk. Je hebt zelfs een balkonnetje met zitje. Zwembad is prima en het restaurant is goed, zowel voor ontbijt als diner. Vriendelijke staff.

Kamer is een beetje donker. Accomodatie ligt een half uur van de ingang van Yosemite, maar Yosemite Valley is nog 1,5 uur rijden.

Chambre spacieuse, propre et literie très confortable, parking facile, piscine sympathique et bienvenue après une journée de marche à Yosemite. Personnel très aimable.

La déco des chambres est datée et elles mériteraient un rafraîchissement même si tout est parfaitement propre. Le petit déjeuner est copieux mais assez peu qualitatif

Location is about 30 minutes outside Yosemite and in the town of Oakhurst where there is some local flair you can enjoy. Breakfast is provided free to hotel guests at the restaurant beside the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious as well as comfortable. I liked the facility very much and would recommend it.

The price. For 2 rooms 2 nights we paid @1200.

Rooms have an old musty smell. Old and tired carpet and decor throughout room and hotel lobby. Beds terrible. Too firm, pillows beyond lumpy and worn out. AC worked well but was very loud.

The location to Yosemite is good but the hotel is mediocre at best. Prices seem too high. Room was tired and in need of an update. Beds firm and if you move, the other person basically gets bounced out. Pillows were a lumpy, worn out mess. The air conditioning was parked well but was very loud. The on-site restaurant was just ok.

Very nice property, with beautiful vegetation all over. We are a Family of 6, it is one of the few hotels able to accommodate us in one room/unit. Breakfast was good. The restaurant is an excellent dining choice.

We stayed there to visit Yosemite, which is a 90 minute ride, a little on the long side. Other than that, which is minor, the hotel met our expectations.
