We stopped at the Best Western on our two week vacation. Our son for the next two weeks only talked about going back to hotel on way home, which we did. The waterslide and pool are a HUGE hit! Thanks to Diane for making us feel valued and helping create memories

The kids love the pool and slide, it is the highlight of their trip. The hotel is clean, it is near lots of restaurants. Right now their own restaurant is under renovations, so don't count on meals in the hotel.

I would not stay at the Seven Oaks Hotel Regina, SureStay Collection by Best Western again. We had to change rooms shortly after arriving because our first room was not properly cleaned. There was hair and lint in the sink and bathtub, the floors were dirty, and the room showed significant wear. Around the base of the bed, old damaged carpeting appeared to have been covered with material rather than properly replaced. The second room was somewhat better, but there was still hair and lint in the bathtub, sinks and on the bathroom floor. There were also remnants of old party decorations stuck in the corners near the ceiling and the room had a distinct mildew smell. Throughout the night, an extremely loud mechanical/vent release occurred approximately every 10–20 minutes. The front desk explained that it was related to the air-conditioning system. The noise was sudden and loud enough to wake me repeatedly, and between that and guests yelling in nearby rooms, I did not sleep that night. The pool and waterslide were the main reason we chose this hotel, and unfortunately this was the most concerning part of our stay. My children tried the waterslide once and did not want to use it again. The surface was badly peeling in places and scratched their backs as they went down. The slide felt unstable to them, and the stairs leading up to it were visibly deteriorated. The pool area overall appeared to be in significant disrepair. There was extensive rust and deterioration around the overhead ventilation and ductwork, peeling and damaged surfaces, and heavily worn stairs. The carpeting near the bottom of the stairs had a strong odour of dampness and urine, and the pool area itself had a very unpleasant smell. I understand the hotel is undergoing renovations, but this was not simply an older hotel in need of updating or a minor inconvenience caused by construction. In my opinion, some areas were in such poor condition that they should have been closed, properly cleaned and fully renovated before continuing to be made available to paying guests. Patchwork or cosmetic repairs do not address the underlying condition of the property. I raised my concerns with the hotel and was given a 25% discount. While I appreciate that they acknowledged there were problems, I do not feel that was an adequate resolution. We encountered cleanliness issues in two separate rooms, a persistent mildew smell, I was unable to sleep because of the repeated mechanical noise, and the pool and waterslide we specifically chose the hotel for were in extremely poor condition. Given the overall experience, I believe a full refund would have been more appropriate. Based on the cleanliness, maintenance, overnight noise and particularly the condition of the pool and waterslide area, I cannot recommend this hotel in its current condition and would not stay here again.

As long-time Elite members of Best Western Hotels, we reserved a room at the Seven Oaks Hotel during our trip from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed that parts of the hotel were undergoing renovations. The long hallway carpets appeared worn and dirty, which created a poor first impression. Our room was located at the far end of the hotel, requiring a lengthy walk through the corridors to reach it. On a positive note, our room with a king-size bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. However, the body soap dispenser in the bathtub was loose and in need of repair. One of our biggest disappointments was the lack of complimentary breakfast. When I inquired about breakfast at the front desk, believing it was a standard Best Western offering, the clerk informed me that no breakfast was available. The response felt unfriendly and left us feeling unwelcome. As a result, we had to leave the hotel the next morning and purchase breakfast at a nearby Tim Hortons. Considering the condition of the hallways, the ongoing renovations, and the absence of breakfast, we did not feel that the room rate represented good value for the money. While the cleanliness of the room was appreciated, our overall experience was disappointing and fell short of what we have come to expect from a Best Western property.

Pool was awesome for small and poolside rooms very convenient. Laminate floors awesome for cleaning up after swimming. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating when we needed to do some laundry and get clean sheets. Larissa was very kind and polite. Like that the beds can moved as we were able to put children on floor between he beds. Would definitely stay here again

Staff were responsive and helpful. Especially when there was an issue with our room. The pool was really nice, wish we had brought a swimsuit XD

It’s a hit or miss whether the exhaust fan in the bathroom would work. If it did work, it wasn’t efficient enough to be effective.

The first rooms hallway had a strong smell of weed. The first rooms had a leaking ceiling and the floor was wet, which wasn’t noticed immediately and my bags were placed on the wet floor which got my clothes wet.

There was a pool employee that was very rude and menacing to a child she grabbed it away from him and raised her voice because he had a water squirter that he was NOT even using on anyone. The restaurant waitress was not very friendly. There was a person smoking Marijuana right beside my vehicle parked in a handicap zone and the hallway reeked of Marijuana. Our room was very clean but did smell of musty and wet ish.

The friday night server in the restaurant was very nice. The bartender with long hair was kind. The front desk people were nice as well. Saturday and sunday servers were ok for breakfast

Staff lied and said laundry was on the second floor and it was actually the third and the halls are very long and it was heavy packing stuff that even people close by new was located on the third floor. Then in the morning, the staff tried to say that they’ve never had any vacancies for that night if we want to extend, but I checked Expedia booking and they certainly did have rooms. Racism plain and simple.

There was nothing I enjoyed about my stay.

The air/heat fan was so loud in our first room. Had to get maintenance. He came in and kicked it as hard as he could a few times and said nope can’t fix it. So we were moved to another room after the front desk heard from him how loud it was. The next room had no air, the fan couldn’t be turned off and was so loud, the tv did not work at all-it was scattered and choppy, the toilet had dried on urine all over the seat, and the noise in the hallways were ridiculous until 4am! There was blood splatter all over the floor in the lobby in the morning. I honestly can’t even believe I gave this place another chance. NEVER AGAIN!!

Not much. Wasn't what I expected. Rooms were small. When I booked it said a double room with double beds. To me that means 2 rooms in one room. Nope only got 2 beds in one roo.

Staff was rude and didnt know their jobs. Was told one thing then another upon check out.

It was dirty. The 1st room had blood all over the curtains and the tub leaked. The pool area was dirty and the hours sucked.

Bed was super soft, king bed was amazing, no signs of any types of bugs, front desk staff was quick and responsive.

No Ac, only a fan Train track runs along the hotel and the trains whistle all night. 2 trains went by. The shower head was fixed in place way too high for me, so showering wasn't the best. No protected wifi, only public. Lots of kids running around being loud when the pool closes at 9-10.

the Pool could have been alittle cleaner and the water slide monitored...... not much fun when several boys(5) were all going down in a group scaring the little kids. Later afteer they left another group of abut 7 kids , all in the same group of a couple of families started doing the same thing

Got there at 3 couldn't get in until 4 unless I paid more money for less than 1 hour. Not happy with that rule. Went to play vlts in restaurant/lounge part bit couldn't due to drug addicts in there with one of them passed out in there . Not sure if I will stay there agsin .

Air conditioning of the room is not working properly.

The rooms were a good value for what we paid. They were clean and had newer appliances.

The pool area is the Wild West. It’s overcrowded and there are basically no staff keeping an eye on things. Older kids were engaging in dangerous behaviour with the water slide, and my partner and I were nervous about our younger kids getting hurt. Given that the pool is a major draw for staying at this hotel, it feels like they should be putting more effort into making it a safe experience for their guests.

Pool water needs to be changed and maybe pool area replaced and refreshed. Update pool slide stairs. Bigger hot tub. Pool side rooms maybe more towels and mats.

I thought I was getting and thought I had pd for direct pool access however was disappointed when I was given a balcony room To the pool which apparently counts as direct pool access. I also thought breakfast was included with our stay and that was another disappointment that it would also be an extra cost to add breakfast to your stay 🙃

They count a balcony room with stairs to the main pool area as direct pool access and no breakfast is included. Also rough area with addicts smoking drugs in the parking lot. Very disappointing as it’s a family oriented hotel with children watching.

I didn6 get my room that I had booked for. My children were disappointed.

I couldnt use my debit credit card. And I had booked on the booking app. And it was confirmed. I went to check in and was denied my room. I had to find another hotel that accommodated me amd my 2 kids! It would have been so convenient to put a damage deposit. But everything i heard was 👎 NO I wont book there again.

It was awesome environment the pool was awesome. The food was phenomenal. The rooms were up-to-date.

The staff is exceptional, comfortable beds, and cleanliness. The pool and courtyard area are exceptional. Great for families and individuals.

The shower has no water pressure. The fitness room was under construction, and I was a little disappointed.

I liked the fact of the hot tub,and the service of the one man there,that was helping me with my wifi. But the hotel did take some of my payment off

The room I first had,the internet was not working,plus the fridge had a horrible smell. There were teenagers being complete idiots running through the halls,and slamming their room doors,and just being ignorant. There was a man and his family also tell them to quit. There's other people there,so have some courtesy to others.

i went sometime last year in the summer so the time is not fully accurate. 1 the rooms were mid not nice not poor they were not too out of date (like only 10 years out of date) 2 the lobby was nice but i think thats only because they did not have anough money too replace it. same goes for the vintige halls 3 they basicly begged for money there was at leadt 3 gachapon machines the vending machines were 2 bucks over priced and breakfast costed as much as a proper restaurant 4 the pool water tasted like pee the hottub water was not fully see through the concrete was falling apart and the place was unclean also tones of copyright evasion. ^ 5.5 the pool was nice if it was not falling apart so other than my pool complaints it was pretty good 6 i think they just were letting anyone willing too pay stock the gacha cause they sold voodoo dolls (''for some reason they would be great with kids'') 7 it was pretty quite but only because we were one of what 4 familys there and we could kind of here them so i do not trust that i would be quite if there were more people 8 defalt hotel cable 9 the amenties were good 9.5 the service was good too

I go to the seven oaks once and awhile and the service is always phenomenal... food is to die for and daily lunch specials are great. Our server today was Alyssa she was prompt friendly and kind.
