Its on the water and right at the bridge.

- Getting luggage into the property is a hassle as they dont allow parking in the front of the building. - The elevator was out order making it more challenging to get luggage to our room. - Rooms were disappointing, beds uncomfortable and not very clean.

The Water pressure in the shower wasn't great.

Bar and dining room staff were great

Small double bed that was very uncomfortable to the point of springs in your back

Nothing stood out about this stay. The bathroom was nice. This is water across the road. Our view was of the back street. Rainbow after all the rain when leaving.

Parking was wherever you could hopefully find something. The building smelt of cigarettes. Elevator was broken. Beds were uncomfortable. Based on reviews, we decided to go to saucy Mary’s down the road for dinner.

Un poco sucio. Necesita reformas. No funcionaba el ascensor. El personal del restaurante deja muchisimo que desear. El desayuno no merece la pena.

Es ist viel zu teuer und zumindest in meinem Bad gab es keine richtige Dusche sondern nur eine Badewanne mit Dusch Hahn, das sind aber natürlich persönliche Präferenzen

This was all I could get in the area for my budget so had little choice but to go for it. Then read reviews which were awful, so my expectations were low. However, it was perfectly comfortable and clean and quiet and the window opened which is always good.

Parking wasn’t great and this hotel caters to bus parties, so if you want a swift breakfast and be gone forget it, they were queued up the stairs. It’s an elderly building, so creaks in the corridors

La habitació no tenia manteniment. Molt anticuada, petita i neteja mínima. El lavabo no ventilava i feia olor a humitat. La dutxa extremadament petita.

Very little. It’s in a great spot but that’s about it. It needs a complete overhaul. The lift was broken, paper peeling off the walls, an overall damp and musty smell. Had the ambience of a badly run care home.

Limited parking for a hotel of its size. No warm and friendly welcome upon arrival at reception, very matter of fact, wanting payment immediately. Lift was out of order, only stairs to second floor. Single loft space room with mostly very limited headroom. Bathroom was very basic. Breakfast was very average. Sign saying wait to be seated but staff ignored me. Limited staff at breakfast seemed rushed off their feet with large coach party numbers. Poor value for money as a hotel B&B.

No welcome when we arrived. Cramped room. Hair in shower stopper. Had booked dinner for 7.30 but told we couldnt have dinner until 8 as they were too busy. That wasnt our problem!.Cold buffet breakfast. Complained but no remedy. Totally overpriced for what we received.

Stedet virkede slidt og personalet uinspireret. Det var dyrt i forhold til, hvad man fik. Meget lydt og man kunne høre alt, hvad der foregik på gangen og de tilstødende værelser.

De kamer was ruim. Ontbijt was goed en het personeel vriendelijk.

De lift was buiten werking. Als je met twee koffers naar de tweede verdieping moet is dat niet echt fijn. Het bad waar ook in gedoucht werd, had twee handgrepen die voor driekwart los zaten. Gevaarlijk bij in en uitstappen. Op het bad was een douchescherm gemonteerd die vanwege de handgrepen niet dicht kon dus werd de vloer nat tijdens het douchen.

The location was okay, still quite far from main sights in Isle of Skye.

The hotel is very dated and room was cold. Some parts of bathroom snd bedroom were very questionable with cleaniness. Overall very bad quality for 170£ per night! It was not worth even half of that price.

Muito barulhento , colchão muito duro já fora do prazo de validade, falta de isolamento, limpeza do quarto.

The building is like an old dorm. The hallways smell of cigarette smoke. The bathroom shower was awful. Poor water pressure and temperature. Some of the staff was grumpy.

Im Bad waren Haare in der Wanne und Schimmel am Badewannenrand. Das ganze Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Bei Frühstück fehlte Obst und Aufschnitt/Käse.....

The lift was out of order. There was an issue with our toilet flush however staff were impressive in the way they handled our reports very promptly. My ch appreciated.

The staff member who greeted us when we arrived was polite and welcoming. It's a decent enough location but pretty far from the main attractions of the Isle of Skye.

The room was not clean to an acceptable standard. There was someone else's deposit in the toilet, plus a used towel. The carpet was not clean. We were unable to open the window. The bed was uncomfortable. Some of the staff were not the most welcoming. Not rude, just seemed very disinterested in basic customer service. I will add that some staff members were friendly and professional. The hotel was far too expensive for the standard it provides. It's in need of a facelift.

The room was a decent size and had some useful facilities, including tea, milk, sugar and a bathtub. Nice Location.

Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel was very disappointing. It honestly felt like being back in a very neglected student dormitory. The walls were chipped and damaged, the doors were scratched, and the bathroom door didn’t even close properly. The walls were so thin that we could hear almost everything, and the uneven floors added to the feeling that the whole place was poorly maintained. There is a big difference between a historic hotel with character and a hotel that simply feels neglected and in need of renovation. Sadly, this felt much more like the latter. At times, the condition of the building was so poor that we genuinely wondered what might fall apart next.

Lo que más me gustó es la ubicación, nada más.

No me gustó que NO te hacen la habitación, y ni avisan. Cuando salimos el primer día de excusión, a la vuelta, no teníamos la habitación hecha y las toallas que habíamos usado, sin cambiar. Bajamos a recepción a decirlo, y una señora BASTANTE ANTIPÁTICA (alta, rubia, delga y con gafas), de malas maneras nos dijo que la habitación ya no la hacían, que si queremos toallas limpias hay que pedirlas Y BAJAR NOSOTROS LAS SUCIAS!!! Le pedimos papel higiénico ya que tampoco teníamos. Lo que espero es que, de huésped a huésped, sí que hagan la habitación, pero ya no sé qué pensar..No debería calificarse como hotel, desde luego. La habitación no estaba muy limpia, en la puerta del baño se podía ver con claridad la mugre que había, pena de no haber hecho fotos. Ahora entiendo que mi agencia de viajes de confianza ya no ofrezca este hotel. NO VOLVERÍA A ESTE "HOTEL".

Getting slightly run down

Good location. Easy to park (they recommended that we park in the church car park right behind the hotel). Easy check-in and check-out. They provided gluten-free bread and cereal for my wife at breakfast, and they are also super pet-friendly! You can have your meals in the bar area with your pet.

The mattress was a bit lumpy by our standards.

Tråkig service vid incheckning. Levde inte upp till priset och förväntningarna. Tråkig frukost dåligt med pålägg och grönsaker och frukt. Den lilla uppskurna frukten som fanns smakade lök

The location

The food was the worst cooked food all four of us (travelled with another couple) have ever eaten. It was all heated in a microwave even the fish & chips which tasted like rubber. For some reason all the staff were frightened of the chef. We had a really poor response from the manager.

Beds were comfy, and the hotel in a fair condition for its age.

Shower heads were in a quite bad condition cleanliness wise. Staff didn’t seem to be happy to be there or help. Very limited parking for guests, had to find something in the village.

Room was clean on the first floor. Breakfast was excellent with great choices for everyone. Front desk employees were very efficient as were dining room employees. Portree was only a 35 min drive from the hotel.

The lounge closed at 10.30 pm As we didn't return to the hotel until 9.30, it didn't leave much time to relax and have a drink. I understand there is a staff shortage at the moment. Not enough parking for guests on premises but were able to park across the street in the church parking lot.

L'hotel si trova in un posto incantevole ma dopo il Checkin ci siamo accorti di essere stati catapultati nell'ultima stanza disponibile, nonostante la prenotazione effettuata con largo anticipo + di 2 mesi. Camera super piccola, bagno ricavato in 3 metri per 1 pulizia assente, muffa nel box doccia e sotto il lavabo, dietro il televisore credo che negli ultimi 3 anni non è stato fatta pulizia e per finire un letto da 1piazza 1/2 per niente comodo. Per fortuna dopo varie lamentele hanno fatto una pulizia alla buona nel box doccia e il giorno seguente ci hanno cambiato di camera. Che dire per 250€ a notte si poteva far meglio

A parte la camera del primo giorno, devo dire che il personale è stato molto gentile, la colazione buona

Posizione fantastica, comoda per iniziare/terminare la visita dell'isola di Skye. Vicinissimo allo Skye bridge. Ottima colazione, con un'ampia scelta tra dolce e salato. Camere piccoline ma confortevoli.

Mir hat nur gefallen, dass ich eine Unterkunft auf der Insel Skye hatte

Meerblick Zimmer sind sehr alt, durch die kleinen hohen Fenster sieht man Meer nicht vom Bett aus. Alles im hotel schmudelig. Frühstück schlecht und nur bis 9:30. Wenn man um 9 kommt ist da nix ausser Bohnen und Toast.
