I didn’t have high expectations going to a hostel, so we were pretty much happy with the experience. It could do with a little more cleaning (compared with other hostel experiences).

Chambres petites Salle de bain très étroites et pas très pratiques pour se doucher C’est un vieux bâtiment, le prix est cher pour la prestation mais c’est l’île de Skye !

Qualidade dos colchões das camas, falta de armários para arrumação, toalhas de banho não incluídas no valor pago. Não haver possibilidade de reservar quarto com casa de banho e chuveiro exclusivo.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026The hostel exceeded our expectations! A cute, fun place with everything you need. It’s a bit “spartan” (as you’d expect from a hostel), and the facilities aren’t new, but the lovely touches and little winks to guests everywhere make it special. Liam at reception is an absolute gem, such a lovely guy, truly “living the dream”! I stayed in the female dorm with two friends and we had a great experience. It’s clean (considering the shared facilities), welcoming, and I would definitely recommend it. It’s a little far from some of the island’s main attractions, but with a car it’s totally manageable. Plus, it’s very close to the mainland and Eilean Donan Castle.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Es el típico sitio mochilero con literas, pero permitía dejar el coche dentro..un sitio tranquilo..Cuenta con servicio de lavandería. Se agradece la cocina y nevera para poder cocinar.. la información para los mochileros como rutas en bus es muy útil.
El cuarto de baño 1 para 8 más los que venían del otro piso se quedó muy justo. La ducha es muy estrecha. También en la cocina no hay mucho espacio para sentarse a comer. No cuenta con toallas pero se pueden alquilar.

Lenzuola e asciugamani con i buchi, gli spazi nella camera doppia con letto a castello sono un po’ angusti.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026O recepcionista foi super simpático, as camas eram confortáveis, tinha tudo que a gente precisava, e todos os outros hóspedes foram gentis e sabiam conviver, estavam acostumados com hostel e dividir quarto, então tive uma ótima experiência.
Os banheiros (privadas) são separados dos chuveiros, mas isso não gerou um grande problema, só precisamos organizar a logística do banho.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Ambiente accogliente e pulito. Facile da trovare, subito dopo il ponte che porta a Skye. C'è poco parcheggio nella struttura ma fronte strada c'è un parcheggio gratuto enorme. Lì vicino ci sono due ristoranti. La struttura ha comunque una cucina a disposizione e volendo si può acquistare in loco anche la colazione. Consigliato.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Staff are super friendly and helpful! Right off the main highway coming onto isle of skye, restaurants within walking distance too! Some parking on site, additional parking across the street in public lot. Did the trick for a stop over spot to sleep for the night.
There were no vacancies during our stay, so it did feel a bit small to serve the number of people it held. The lounge and kitchen look larger in photos than in person. Thankfully, we were using the kitchen super early, so it wasn't too much of an issue with our group, but can be crowded during dinner time. Few smaller maintenance items and could use some more places to hang wet clothes with all the rain.

Die Betten waren etwas unbequem, nur dünne Matratzen, so dass man das Gefühl hatte, direkt auf dem Holz zu sitzen Zum schlafen ging es trotzdem

Il n’y avait de l’eau chaude que dans une douche pour toute l’auberge de jeunesse. Et les lits n’étaient vraiment pas confortables. Le matelas (fin) est posé sur une plaque en bois qu’on sent immédiatement quand on s’allonge. Donc réveils endoloris !

Al piano di sopra, con due stanze da circa 10 posti letto totali vi era solo una toilet e una doccia. La doccia dopo le ore 8 pm era sempre fredda.

Die Duschen zum Teilen. Wir haben sie dann nicht genutzt. Das Zimmer war laut und wir haben die Dusche gehört.
