I liked that it was possible to walk in to the city. The food was good.

I did not realise that the hotel was so big and that it was very geared towards families with small children.

Nice hotel about 20 mins walk into kilkenny. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Foyer was beautiful. Excellant room facilites - coffee machine, toiletries, safe,fridge, heater and cooler.

Eating in the bar was very noisy due to a lot of kids. Although the hotel was comfortable, it could have been dusted in places. The bar had a lot cobwebs above dining tables and lamp shade above table we sat at for breakfast was full of cobwebs. And they werent halloween decorations!!!Window in bedroom was held open with a water bottle from a previous resident. Our room could have done with a revamp. Other rooms that were open along corridor looked far superior.The room we were in was noisy as there was an connecting door in our room with a lot children in other room. I would go back again i would ask for a quieter room.

Food was great

Requested a cot was none. Bathroom was dirty. Curtains were filthy. No heating have a 2 month old baby and room was freezing also most of the light bulbs were not working

The staff where very helpful. The bar was lovely. Rooms were very comfortable and modern.

Les clients d’un niveau social plus élevé que nous et qui ne respectaient pas trop le personnel de l’établissement. La photo de première page Booking ne correspond pas spécifiquement à l’hôtel.

Au top dans cet établissement, l’ambiance et L’amabilité du personnel , Le confort des chambres , On mange aussi très bien dans Le restaurant de l’hôtel .

Même si le coût était assez dérisoire , j’ai trouvé bizarre qu’on doive régler ses boissons chaudes ( chocolat au lait et latte macchiato ) au petit déjeuner alors que celui-ci est en buffet et compris dans le prix de la chambre .

Pretty property, room was comfortable and clean.

There was to much going on in the hotel, weddings and people everywhere. If you don’t have small kids, not the best place to stay.

Attended a wedding there, food was amazing, service was amazing

Room was quite dated, ( stayed in a family room) noise from work outside early Sunday morning, not sure where work was or what direction it was in !! Had requested and paid for late checkout (2 o’clock) but had two housekeeping calls , just after 12!!!

The staff were all wonderful. Really made such a lovely effort to speak with and make our kids feel at home. Jurassic newpark was amazing, so much for little ones to explore.

Nice reception area but very dated couches / carpets smelled. Our room was very stuffy no air conditioning and windows that were sealed shut only allowing a small crack. Fans were available in the room but extremely noisy and still uncomfortably hot, not ideal with little babies in the room. Did not sleep well for the entire stay. For the price we paid for this hotel you would expect more, the included breakfast was also terrible.

The dinosaur experience- would suggest in the under 4 bounce that you would put at least 1 slide as all my three year old did was look at the slides on the other side- ruined his experience another think i could then not use to occupy/entertain him

Food was extremely poor,smoked salmon was not dressed and was warm?, undercooked sausages at breakfast, toast tea and coffee all coming at different times to cooked breakfast food, paying for cappuccino at breakfast, have not had to do that in poorer rated hotels and 4.50 is scandalous. wait staff not attentive, asking multiple times for condiments at meals before actually receiving them, Bruschetta not described on menu as it is served ( vegetarian cheese???) when I complained still had to pay 11eur, family friendly pool but it has no pool area where children can actually stand up and as a result my children did not want to be in it which is tricky when staying for three days. All could be accepted somewhat except it is so expensive to stay and so I was bitterly disappointed

The staff were very helpful and the facilities were brilliant, our two boys loved the stay and the Dinosaur Park also.

The food in the Italian restaurant was a little on the expensive side but very tasty.

Very child friendly, the facilities and kids club were excellent. The extra touches with the kiddy welcome bag and milk and cookies were lovely. My kids really enjoyed the kids camp. And Jurassic park was a massive hit

Breakfast was varied and great. So many kids that nobody had to worry about a little noise. We really enjoyed the restaurants...didn't feel there was any price gouging. Pool was nice especially for the kids. Total access to the dinosaur park was great...after hours playgrounds, etc.

Beautiful location , was here for a wedding and the hotel is beautiful !

Durch ein Upgrade haben wir ein schönes, größeres Zimmer bekommen; man muss wissen, dass dieses Hotel ein ausgesprochenes Familienhotel mit vielen kleinen Kindern ist – das hat schöne und manchmal etwas herausfordernde Seiten :)

Die Sauberkeit (Oberflächen!) und auch der Zustand der Möbel (teilweise abgestoßen und in die Jahre gekommen) hätte besser sein können; nach Kilkenny muss man das Auto nehmen- ist einfach zu weit weg

Nice hotel with pool (but only with swimming caps) and breakfast included.

We were informed about a big gluten free breakfast variety but when we actually had breakfast it was “just” toast and some fruits. I am glad we had our own cereal for our celiac child. Staff felled overwhelmed with the breakfast rush at 7:30am

Gericht op gezinnen, wat heel fijn is maar het mist daardoor ook een bepaalde luxe het is prima voor een paar nachtjes en dan weer door. Bedden waren wel heel goed!

Een beetje massaal en het ontbijt vond ik persoonlijk wat minder (uitgebreid) en bijvoorbeeld het fruit niet vers.

Location was great. Food in scotts brasserie is very good as well as the service. Fantastic for kids really well set up as a family hotel with the dinosaur park on site just makes it a brilliant holiday!!

It’s amazing for kids and families. So much fun activities for the kids, swimming pool is grand but not ideal for kids who aren’t confident swimming. The kids pool is small in size but if you have arm bands it’s perfect for the big pool. The Jurassic park is amazing couldn’t fault it.

Everything was perfect bar the food in the evening. Staff were under pressure due to how busy it was so felt asking questions was stressful for them. Our food was cold and over priced for what we got. Breakfast is lovely but again feel staff are under pressure and trying to usher you out to get more people in. We opted to eat dinner in the city as it was much better value for money

Perfect for the grandchildren. Great Dinosaur Park. Lots of facilities. Excellent staff in all locations.

Hôtel parfait en tout point. À noter qu’avec le parc de dinosaures et la piscine très adaptée aux enfants , il vaut mieux savoir qu’il ya en général beaucoup d’enfants dans cet hôtel. Ma fille de 5 ans été accueillie comme une reine, accueil au lait et petit biscuit , mascotte au petit déjeuner , parc magnifique de dinosaures compris dans le tarif de l’hôtel , piscine superbe. En plus c est un hôtel très très confortable . Séjour familial parfait

I would like to say a big thank you to Ester, the hotel staff manager, for her kindness, professionalism and welcoming attitude. She was always pleasant, approachable and very helpful throughout our stay. Ester went above and beyond to make sure everything was running smoothly and that we felt comfortable and well looked after. Her friendly manner and professionalism really stood out, and she is a great asset to the hotel. It was a pleasure dealing with her, and I would happily recommend the hotel to others based on the excellent service we received.

Amazing hotel great leisure centre spend ages in jacuzzi tub and outdoor hot pool is the greatest experience ever love the hot tub food is wonderful hoping the great my own membership to the pool

I met a young lady called Ester while at work. She was very helpful and a great credit to the hotel. She is always willing to assist whenever needed, consistently going above and beyond in her role. Even when guests are sitting alone in the lobby, she takes the time to check in and ensure everything is okay, which really stands out. I cannot recommend Ester highly enough. She is a valuable asset to the hotel and truly deserves recognition for the level of care and professionalism she demonstrates every day. She also deserves consideration for a pay rise.

Great value & so much to do as a family , our 3 boys loved Jurassic park 🦖 with so much to do , they had so much fun 🤩.. afterwards we went for dinner & Katie ( restaurant manger ) made us feel so welcome & looked after us brilliantly.. overall fantastic staff & hotel Highly recommend & we will return again . We had a lovely visit to Newpark Hotel yesterday, and I want to give a special thank you to Luminita for her outstanding service. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. She made us feel so well looked after, always with a warm smile and a positive attitude. Nothing was too much trouble, and she truly made our visit even more enjoyable. Luminita is a real credit to the team. Thank you for such excellent service—we'll definitely be back

We stayed at the Newpark Hotel for one night during the August bank holiday weekend . 2 adults and 1 toddler (3 years) from the minute we entered all the staff we came across were so nice and friendly especially molly who went out of her way to chat to our son and give him a goodie bag on arrival which he was delighted with. The room itself was a bit dated and we had a tiny window which looked at a wall , not the best for the price you pay but we spent so little time in the room we didn’t mind! It was clean and comfortable The Jurassic park is amazing my little boy loved it so much we went back the next day after check out! There so much to do and see , and it’s all included in your hotel stay, you do have to pay for Jurassic bounce and I’d recommend booking it online to ensure you have a slot as it get very busy! In the evening they have family club for the little ones they can play games , colour etc and then JJ came at 6:30 for a little disco! There is a kids club at 7pm for the bigger kids! There is also a little indoor soft play room ! We ate in the restaurant for dinner service was very quick and staff were friendly! Food was ok We used the pool it was nice and warm for our toddler and even has a nice outdoor pool area for adults only! Overall we had a great time , very relaxed family friendly hotel we would definitely return

They would bot let me stay because I didn't have a Credit card. A debit card wasnt good enough

Vegetarian food options in restaurant extremely poor/ limited 3 ppl room, had 1 towel each and 1 packet of biscuits between us all, just felt limited for showers or having a cuppa together Bath plug was to small and leaked, getting a new one was no problem however by the time it arrived it was too late Hotel definitely feels like it struggles between a family hotel and an adult break away hotel

I was heavily pregnant and our room was down in the basement far away from reception etc. The bathroom was very dated too to have a shower you had to get into the bath to stand again being pregnant I felt a bit unsafe doing so.

Great value ..so much do do for the family..nice room and very knowledgeable and helpful staff... Seem to be happy in their work and it shows ..very enthusiastic the kids will love it..we will return and recommend.. Txs again

Just had to cancel my stay due to not owning a credit card. I was told if i travelled i would be turned away with my kids after i had offered a cash deposit and i was told they would not accept this and the only way to check in is with a physical credit card. Please just be aware of this if people are planning to book.

Great for families. Need swim caps for pool. Didn’t plan on doing the dinosaur stuff, but once the kids saw it we couldn’t pull them away!

Top class food .. melt in mouth beef and classic tiramisu .. No complaints .. Service a little slow but worth the wait

The main pool was very deep not very kid friendly!

Great hotel, very clean and luxurious. Considering it’s so family friendly it was always calm and chilled. Something for children of all ages. Good delicious in the bar restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. 5 min drive to the Main Street of the town. Rooms had everything you needed and beds comfy. Tip: bring old trainers for outside as very dusty due to wood chippings around the play areas. Also children and adults need swim caps (hotel sell them but handy if you already have some to take with you)

Flynn’s Newpark was a super find A gem of a hotel , ambience , quality of food and above all the genuine kindness of the staff . The Dinosaur park is very well set out , great eye to detail and absolutely everything for every age of the family, Music at night , to round off perfect day . Truly great experience,

We had a lovely experience. The hotel feels very welcoming and my daughter and I felt comfortable immediately. The staff are friendly and efficient but also really great with the kids. Jurassic Newpark is such a good onsite experience for hotel guests with a nice variety of activities, attractions, playgrounds etc. We got a welcome pack on arrival with plenty of information to make the most out of the park. The pool needed to be pre-booked which meant it was not overcrowded and a nice relaxed experience. We had dinner in Scotts Bar, the food was delicious and there was a good atmosphere. There was live entertainment later in the evening in the lobby/terrace area which everyone was enjoying. Breakfast was so well catered for children with a dedicated kids pancake station, which was a big hit with my daughter. One of the dinosaur characters was walking through the restaurant during breakfast greeting the kids which they all loved. Overall, a great family hotel.
