We enjoyed our stay very much.

It would have been wonderful if the hotel had a lift.

Location and facilities were great

Shower was awkward to stand in. Staff did not seem happy & hard to get service at bar

Keep a note that garden rooms do not have air conditioning like the rooms in the main building.

Great location and the property has everything

Beautiful room, spotless clean. Staff from reception to bar were excellent and very welcome, food was exceptional would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kilkenny Beautiful hotel in the heart of everything I will definitely be returning Thank you to all the staff in Langtons

Ich habe wirklich schon viel in Hotels weltweit übernachtet, in guten und nicht so guten. Aber da wusste ich es zuvor. Das Zimmer vom war eine Zumutung, wir haben Einzelbetten gebucht und ein Vierbett- Familienzimmer bekommen. Soweit okay, aber die Lage war im 1. Stock direkt an einer lauten Einfallsstrasse zu Kilkenny, direkt über der Hotelbar. Mit einfacher Verglasung und kaputten Fenstern, knarrenden Holzböden und Decken. Man hatte also Straßen- und Barlärm und hörte jeden Schritt der Nachbarn. Das Zimmer selbst war von der Ausstattung 60‘er Jahre, schiefe Schranktüren und Schubladen, eine WC- Brille die nicht fest verschraubt war (rutschte jedes Mal zur Seite). Die Einzelbetten eher Poko- Domäne. Das Treppenhaus zum Zimmer ging direkt von der Bar ab, hätte jeder Besucher leichten Zugang gehabt, der Zugang zum Zimmer erfolgte über einen Schlüssel ohne irgendeinen Sicherheitsaspekt!! Das war ein normales Schloss einer Wohnungs- Zimmertür und nicht eines Hotelzimmers. Interessant war das Umgehen mit dem Wunsch nach einem anderen Zimmer: „Ah, über Booking gebucht und nicht direkt…wir sind ausgebucht“ Der Frühstücksbereich war maximal 50% belegt.

Vriendelijk personeel, goede locatie dichtbij centrum, gezellig restaurant en bar. Ontbijt is op zaterdag pas om 9u maar wij moesten 's morgens al vroeger vertrekken naar de luchthaven, receptioniste zorgde ervoor dat we toch een aangepast ontbijt kregen.

Heel gehorig hotel. Veel lawaai op de gangen, tot 2u muziek uit de bar waardoor we niet konden slapen. Geen lift aanwezig. Voor onze betaalde prijs en 4* hadden we toch iets meer verwacht. In het weekend pas ontbijt vanaf 9u, als je op doorreis bent is dit wel wat laat.

The room , had wanted a ground level with a walk in shower climbing over baths too hard told by Blanca think name NO rooms have walk in showers did not like the attitude and the look from her not happy We had the option of another room BUT had to pay more money which I think we had paid enough already so moved to a ground floor room 2 single beds The toilet lid did not stay up when using and the seat kept moving then to top it off when flushed it continuously ran and the noise was most annoying so not impressed at all thank goodness was just the one night

Perfect ontbijt , zoiets vindt je niet zomaar en zeker een adres en plaats om terug te komen .

The room was good. There is no lift so you need to be able to carry your suitcase up one flight of stairs. The breakfast was good and is usually included in the price. The location is superb.

Excellent spacious room with large bathroom including a spa bath - the bed was large and very comfortable. Parking at rear of building for guest very good - Staff friendly and helpful - breakfast delicious

We were in a great room, 9, but up lots of stairs, no lift

Struttura in centro, grande, curata e ben arredata. Dispone di un pub con musica dal vivo e di un ristorahre. Abbiamo soggiornato nelle garden suite per avere maggiore silenzio. Giardino curato e davvero molto tranquillo Parcheggio privato con accesso riservato ai clienti mediate codice rilasciato alla reception. Grande stanza con zona relax dotata di vetrata sul giardino. Il castello è raggiungibile a piedi.

Phon non funzionante e senza possibilità di un sostituto perché la reception non ne aveva in più e l'hotel era pieno. Water sporco e incrostato, inaccettabile in un 4 stelle... Colazione deludente per un hotel così bello.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean

Garden suite room 22 on ground floor was overlooked by passing public. Did not feel private and had to keep curtains closed. No aircon in room and outside temp of 25 degrees plus made room very uncomfortable

Location was great. Cocktails great. Parking was great.

Dinner was not very good. The street directing cars to parking has been misaligned and needs to be repositioned.

Posizionato in centro e con il parcheggio gratuito. Ottima colazione e stanze pulitissime e accoglienti. Viaggiavamo con due neonati e ci hanno fornito due comodissimi lettini.

Sarebbe stata utile una presa nel bagno per attaccare il phon e un piccolo frigorifero nella stanza.

L'hôtel était sûrement très beaux il y a quelques années mais la chambre est maintenant vétuste (salle de bain notamment).

- Free on-site parking with plenty of space was very convenient. Location is convenient, just a 10-min walk from the center. - The staff was really nice and helpful. - The dinner at the hotel restaurant was absolutely fantastic and the waiting staff was great. Good ambiance at the bar with live music and Irish dancing.

- The hotel is dated and clearly needs renovation - though it has its charm and the place is beautiful. We were aware of that when we booked so no surprise here, but note that this means no lift, no A/C, poor isolation from the street noise, and the shower was also not great. - The breakfast was a letdown. The cooked part was okay but the buffet was very minimal, with few options and average quality products (compared to other hotels we’ve been in Ireland). We were quite surprised given how good the dinner was at the hotel restaurant the night before.

Die Zimmer waren super und so gelegen, dass wir es ruhig hatten, obwohl es an dem Abend ordentlich zuging. Der Ort ist wunderschön und das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen.

Endlich mal ein breites Bett in Irland! Es war ruhig gelegen.

Das Zimmer war sehr warm, eine Regulierung über die Lüftung war nicht möglich. Es war recht hellhörig im Gebäude.

Big room with nice bathroom and small lounge, the hotel is quite big with some great bars and restaurants which seemed a little quiet, which was actually good for us

The hotel is known for weddings, so I imagine if the whole hotel was booked and there was a couple of big weddings, it might be a very different experience...

Excellent location only 300 meters from centre. Breakfast order prepared individually from a comprehensive menu.

Coffee at breakfast was weak . Would have liked a fridge inn the room.

We stayed in a suite which was fab, love the 4 poster bed. Langtons is a great central location. Might not suit older people as we could still hear the music until after 2, which didn’t bother us. Best hotel breakfast 😋 Expensive for 1 night.

Noise from the street might be a problem for some. Expensive for 1 night.

Booked a family room, which ended up being a double bed and 2 camp beds. For the price I would have expected proper beds. The room was on the 3rd floor. The weather has been exceptionally warm for the last few weeks... heat rises... the room was unbearable warm at 10pm. The air-conditioning didn't work. Went to open the windows and they had mould on them. We had to attend a family funeral at 10.30am.. but needed to be at the family residence at 9.30am... we didn't realise breakfast was only served after 9am... and the staff told us it was too late to order breakfast to the room for the following morning. If I'd know I wouldn't have opted to pay for breakfast on the booking. When I was ironing a shirt... the iron ripped some threads on the shoulder of the shirt. I told the staff about the incidents above and they advised someone would phone us. They didn't.

De gardens suite zijn mooie en grote kamers, bij het ontbijt kun je een speciaal gerecht kiezen, naast het buffet. Bijvoorbeeld avocado met toast en ei, of zalm met eieren

Het was 29 graden in de kamer, er is geen airco en er was maar een klein stukje raam wat open kon. Men had alleen een medium grote ventilator om de warmte tegen te gaan. Ik kreeg wel een andere kamer, daar was het 26 graden

No air conditioning & when got into room very hot, took ages to cool down, if blinds & curtains had been pulled at front (west facing) would have been better as this worked reasonably the second night. No hot water the first night, complained & nothing happened. We were warned of noise and there was lots until small hours of morning

Bed we're ok comfortable, room was very spacious, room was extremely hot ans we were only offered a small fan after request.

Very hot, no AC, only got a small desk fan upon request. 1 window in room didn't open, no hand or wash cloths in bathroom for use to wash ourselves. Shampoo and body wash didn't really suds or wash well...

Langtons Kilkenny were amazing at hosting our group for a bridal party for our beautiful bride. From start to finish the staff looked after our every wish to make this a truly special occassion for our friend. Aoghan in events at Langtons deserves a special mention, a true gentleman and there to assist with all our grand plans!

Hotel ist auf die Ausrichtungen von Hochzeiten spezialisiert. Wir waren im Nebenhaus, wo sich die Hochzeitsgäste lautstark bemerkbar machen. Auch morgens ist ein ruhiges Frühstück nicht möglich. Der Frühstücksraum scheint nicht schallisoliert zu sein. Hotel ist auf große Temperaturen nicht eingestellt. Die Fenster lassen sich nur zu einem kleinen Spalt öffnen, so dass kaum frische Luft reinkommt. Wir hatten über 28 Grad nachts im Zimmer. Als Abhilfe gibt es Ventilatoren.

Große Auswahl an Spirituosen, aber keine Barkarte. Man konnte nicht überblicken, was alles an Whiskey oder Gin zur Auswahl steht - schade!
