Service of hotel staff in general, and especially during breakfast and dinner was amazing. Every staff was very friendly, respectful and made us feel at home.

After being back home for nearly two months, I can confidently say that our stay at Taj Tirupati was one of the best experiences of our trip. I truly miss everything about the place—the warm hospitality, the professionalism of the staff, and especially the delicious South Indian food. A very special thank you to Mr. Anil Kumar, who was incredibly helpful and made our stay even more memorable. Our spiritual journey felt as though it began the moment we arrived at the hotel. Being welcomed by a pandit chanting sacred mantras created such a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. It was a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience. Taj Tirupati will always hold a special place in our memories. Highly recommended!

The staff were not so nice. The food was below average. The options in buffet were very less. And we were 3 people they charge so much extra money for an other person but cannot provide basic toiletries for 3 people we have to keep asking. Shouldn’t they know and put it before. Why do we have to spend so much for this? It was not worth the money at all. It was very over priced but no value for it.

Taj Tirupati is always my go to place for amazing hospitality ,food ,service while visiting the Tirumala .Had stayed with them for more than 5 times and every time it was even better than the previous stay !

As a Taj Platinum member, I had high expectations from Taj Tirupati. While there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing and nowhere close to the standards one expects from the Taj brand. The booking process was smooth, and the welcome was pleasant. We were greeted with a traditional welcome by a panditji with Vedic mantras, followed by a welcome drink. The check-in process was efficient, and the reception team was courteous. In particular, one of the ladies at the reception was very helpful in explaining the darshan arrangements in detail, which we genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, things went downhill once we entered the room. We were allotted a room on the fifth floor where, immediately outside the window, there was an enormous beehive. It was particularly unsettling for my young daughter, and although we managed to reassure her, it certainly wasn't something we expected from a luxury hotel. The room itself was in a poor state of maintenance. The wallpapers were peeling off in multiple places, switches were dirty, the TV panel and surrounding fittings were chipped and damaged, and overall the room looked neglected. Even the bathtub appeared to be poorly maintained. It honestly felt more like a poorly maintained 2–3-star hotel room than a room in a Taj property. Our first experience with in-room dining was equally disappointing. I had specifically ordered a vegetarian sandwich made with brown bread. After waiting nearly 35–40 minutes, a sandwich made with white bread was delivered instead. I had to call again, explain the issue, and wait further before the correct order finally arrived. This was far below the acceptable service standards one expects from Taj. We did spend some enjoyable time at the swimming pool with our daughter. While we enjoyed the experience as a family, the pool area, including the glass panels around it, could have been much cleaner. Later that night, we requested an extra bedsheet, which took over 30 minutes to arrive. The next morning brought another disappointing experience. My wife had ordered tea through room service, but when the tray arrived, the flask was empty—there was literally no tea inside. The staff attempted to rectify the mistake by sending another one, but by then we were getting late for our darshan and had to decline it. The breakfast itself was delicious and deserves appreciation for its quality and taste. However, the service was extremely poor. Despite repeated requests for simple requirements, the staff appeared uninterested and inattentive. We had to remind them multiple times for the same things before they were finally attended to. The problems with guest services continued after breakfast. We requested drinking water several times—at least five times over a period of nearly two hours—but no one delivered it. One staff member later explained that there was significant disruption due to VIP guests staying at the hotel. While operational challenges can happen, basic services like providing drinking water should never be compromised. The checkout experience was equally frustrating. Around 10:00 a.m., I had already informed the Front Office Manager that I would be checking out later. Despite this, I continued receiving repeated calls asking when I would be checking out, even while I was trying to rest. This reflected a complete lack of coordination within the team. Overall, while the reception staff were courteous and helpful, especially in assisting with darshan-related information, the in-room dining team, housekeeping, and guest services were extremely disappointing. The room maintenance was poor, service standards were inconsistent, and basic hospitality expectations were not met. As someone who has stayed at several Taj properties and holds Platinum membership, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with the brand. I genuinely hope the management takes these issues seriously because the property has potential, but the execution is far below what the Taj name represents. Sadly, I would not recommend staying at Taj Tirupati. Despite paying premium prices, the experience did not justify the cost, and I believe travellers would find better value and service at other hotels in Tirupati.

Had a wonderful evening at Taj Hotel Tirupati! We enjoyed a few beers along with delicious snacks, followed by an amazing dinner featuring chicken curry, dal rice, butter naan, and chilli paneer. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A special thanks to Chef Sandeep, Chef Vivek, and Chef Dheeraj for serving such delicious food. The hospitality from Ravindra, Rahul, and Nitin at the bar made our experience even more enjoyable. Their friendly service, attention to detail, and warm attitude truly stood out. Overall, the food, drinks, service, and ambience were excellent. A memorable dining experience, and I highly recommend Taj Hotel Tirupati to anyone looking for great food and outstanding hospitality. My family and I just got back from a quick one-night stay at the Taj Tirupati (we checked in on June 17th), and honestly, we had the best time. Everything was spot on from the moment we walked in. Even though it was a short trip, the amazing food, the comfortable rooms, and how genuinely nice everyone was made it really memorable for us. The food was easily the best part We are still talking about how good the food was. We had dinner at Southern Spice and it was incredible—so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The breakfast buffet the next morning was just as impressive. There were so many options that everyone in the family found something they loved. A big thank you to Sujit, Yurela, Swagata, Savin, Nithin, Joideep, and Jatin for looking after us so well at our table. And a huge shoutout to the kitchen crew—Sukumar, Bharathi, Aryan, and Barbil—for the fantastic meals. Loved the rooms and the spa The rooms were gorgeous, really cozy, and absolutely spotless, which made it super easy for the family to relax. We also treated ourselves to a session at the hotel spa, and it was amazing—exactly what we needed to completely unwind. Everyone was so welcoming What really made the trip stand out was how kind and helpful the staff were. Every single person we ran into had a smile on their face. Yona, Radha, Redma, and Keerti at the front desk made check-in and check-out incredibly smooth and easy. And our rooms were kept in perfect shape by Sashi, Biplab, and Madhuri from housekeeping, who made sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and are so grateful to the whole team for making our family trip so special. If you are heading to Tirupati, you should definitely stay here. We are already looking forward to going back for a longer stay next time!

We checked in as a family of 3 and stayed for 2 nights . We got a room upgrade to a spacious room and also got surprised with an anniversary cake . The staff had a personal touch and ensured our needs were well taken care of . We had to leave our daughter behind to complete our temple darshan and the staff took care of her by serving lunch and enquiring her well being . The food at both the all day dining and Southern Spice was very good . The hotel is located right next to the highway and very close to the Tiruchanur temple

It’s a beautiful property with a lovely traditional decor in keeping with the sacred town. Ideally located for visiting the Tirumala Balaji temple and a stone’s throw from the Padmavathi temple. But the most standout part of the experience was the exceptional service standards, all through the hotel and particularly in the multi-cuisine restaurant. Everyone was eager to help and went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Had a fantastic dinner experience at Taj Tirupati. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. A special thanks to bartender Nitin Bisht for the excellent drinks and warm hospitality. The Chicken Tikka was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The Dal Fry comforting, and paired wonderfully with the soft Fulka and steamed Rice. Every dish was fresh, well-presented, and tasted amazing. Sandeep chef and Vivek chef for preparing delicious dishes with great taste and presentation. Big shout-out to Swagata for the attentive, courteous, and professional table service throughout the evening. The team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Our family stayed here for a day when we visited Tirupati. A lovely relaxing ambiance a little distance from the centre of town. We drove down from Bangalore so was a great base to visit the temple. Rooms are in need of a little fresh paint and maintenance but the lobby and restaurant areas are impressive. The breakfast spread was good. Would recommend and return when visiting Tirupati.

Amazing breakfast and helpful staff

Rooms are dated, the furniture and bathroom fittings were in bad shape. The room had a moisture stench- they offered alternate room but it was present in all rooms. When we checked out early morning, the lobby also had the same stench which they mask under air perfume during the day. Housekeeping was sub-standard as there was dust on furniture all around the room.

Awesome We experienced seemless check in & check bout process with baggage assistance. Rooms are also well maintained and television screens are giving personalised experience. Food taste welas superb. Location is easily accessible as itis within 100 metre from Main road. Staff is also very helpful in guiding us the major attractions within tirupathi and managing vallet parking multiple times.

We stayed in Taj Thirupathi in the month of May. The stay was very nice from all aspects. The ambiance cleanliness and the hospitality were very pleasant. We had all our meals from the restaurant named Varuna. The food and the service was excellent All the staff were good and especially Mr Sujit Giri (staff at VARUNA)made our trip memorable with his courteous service We looked forward to another visit at the earliest.

I stayed at Taj Tirupati for about 2.5 days, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Despite informing the staff multiple times, no housekeeping service was carried out in my room throughout my stay. After my second complaint, a staff member finally came—ironically just before my checkout—requesting to clean the room. At that point, I was about to leave in an hour, so it was of no use. Additionally, we did not receive any water refills for the entire duration of our stay, which is quite unacceptable for a property of this standard. I expected much better service from a brand like Taj, but the overall experience fell well below expectations. The only positive aspect was the breakfast and the courteous staff at the restaurant, who were pleasant and attentive. Apart from that, the service levels were disappointing and not reflective of the Taj brand.

We went with the family for Tirupati Darshan and we have been doing this for 30 years plus every year. what better place to stay than Taj Tirupati where the hospitality was at its best, the services starting right from Reception, House keeping, Room service, SPA etc was unbelievably amazing, you could feel the aura of Taj Brand touch at every place and it was special. More importantly we stayed only for a day at Taj, checked out and went for a fantastic Darshan and then decided to return back to Taj only to have a sumptuous breakfast. The services were par excellence and special thanks to Mr Sujit who was an employee at the Restaurant called Varuna and his services were beyond expectations, Kudos for his wonderful gesture and sending a special thank you from our family to him. Customer service makes a difference and Taj stands out for the same. Waiting to come back to Taj Tirupati whenever we get an opportunity. 😊😊❤️❤️
