Honestly, it was expensive for the price. I stayed with my 3 boys in a family room for 2 nights. It was double beds and there were only 3 sets of cups and towels. Breakfast as disappointing, there were no eggs on either morning and the coffee machines were down both mornings too. I've been to better Premier Inns and next time would book there first.
Staff food
Restaurant was good service on an evening.
Room was very dated & not clean we had cobwebs in our room . Bathroom had an awful smell of cigarettes & shower curtain black with mould . Bar so expensive & no sport on tv one tv was not even on .
My room was a lovely size with all expected amenities. However the bathroom did have a rather damp smell
damp smell in bathroom, would have liked a fridge.
Spa was lovely Room was amazing Breakfast was great
Went to book an afternoon tea and wasn't given the best customer service.
Clean, comfortable perfect for our needs.
Very little
It was clean and the spa was nice
No upgrades were available
餐厅很不错👍
Lovely hotel, nice location
Breakfast was expensive although i didn’t have one.
Stayed in the Thornberry suite and it was lovely, well equipped and spacious.
There was no full length mirror in the room which would have been useful as we were attending a black tie event. There is space to put one 😏
Our room was lovely and there was a birthday cookie and card for my husband. The pool, steam room and jacuzzi were great.
Because it was a bank holiday weekend, when we went to book a treatment at the spa, for both days it was fully booked. If I had known what was on offer, and to book ahead, I would have. I was disappointed that I couldn’t book a treatment at the for us.
Good location as a base for surrounding areas

Breakfast great, plenty choice. Thanks to the member of staff who handed in my laptop. Thank you, thank you.
All good
Rooms are great. Staff very friendly.
The bar was understaffed for the amount of people. Long wait for drinks and food took about an hour to arrive however it was good when it eventually arrived.
We found that the location and parking facilities were excellent. In addition, the staff were professional and welcoming, and our room was clean and comfortable. The spa facilities were clean and enjoyable. We chose to eat at the lounge bar which was busy due to a bank holiday and we found the prices slightly costly but enjoyable food. Breakfast was amazing!
As it was a bank holiday we found the bar area to be slightly noisy and busy.
Very friendly and responsive staff excellent food fabulous spa
We were given an accesible room I guess it was what was available when I booked however my booking did say bath - which there wasnt and furniture is obviously removed for accessibility so our storage options were limited
The Lift, I had a pushchair and the lift kept getting stuck No AC on the 1st floor rooms too hot with kids and 7 month old twins
Amazing service and function for the pre wedding party. Thanks to Coleen for being so helpful and ready to help carrying things required for the party.
I had the loveliest facial and couldn’t recommend her enough! She is so friendly, bubbly, and instantly makes you feel comfortable. She explains every step of the treatment as she goes, so you always know what’s happening and feel completely at ease. The shoulder massage was absolutely amazing and such a relaxing touch. Overall, it was a lovely experience from start to finish. I left feeling so refreshed, relaxed, and glowing. I can’t wait to book in again!
Stayed for a wedding. Lovely lunch prior in the restaurant. We're a picky crew food wise, but great service from our Anna our waitress!
We came on a Golf package for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The golf course was challenging but in great condition; the hotel staff were thoughtful and friendly throughout our stay, which included a lovely gift in our room for our anniversary; the food was great at breakfast and in the evening. We will return in the future.
Breakfast excellent and staff very nice and professional
All good
The location was excellent for our stay
There were a lot of groups of golfing men on weekend breaks. Most were ok but we had an awful lot of noise at around 1am. Clearly drunk going back to their rooms shouting down the corridor.
Forest pines is set just south of the Humber near the bridge giving great access to all areas A really great reception so friendly and helpful, took time to to explain the hotel amenities, rooms are great . Clean , spacious and presented to a high standard
Celebrated a birthday in the Grill restaurant where we received excellent service from both Gracie and Tanya. The food was delicious and the evening was made extra special by the service from the staff.
I went with s friend for a spa weekend. We had a lovely stay. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was very good, with an excellent shower-we were upgraded from a standard twin to a superior twin, not sure why but it was a lovely surprise, thank you. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and whilst this was well presented and tasty unfortunately we had to send the starter of scallops back as they were almost cold. We enjoyed a lovely massage but were unable to use the spa facilities due to it being extremely busy, which did slightly spoil the weekend as that was the main reason for booking Forest Pines. That said we still plan on returning again in the future.
Lovely family stay with my 11 & 9 year old. Our room was amazing, the food was fabulous & the kids loved the pool. The staff were all lovely & remembered my sons allergies for our dinner on the 2nd night. Will definitely be back.
Room was comfortable for our stop off
Long walk to the 400 rooms and not easy to find way to reception. But bed was comfortable and the pool area was great.
The staff were helpful, and the breakfast was great
One room was next to a boiler, or something and the noise kept us awake all night. One accessible room, the bed was either a large single or a small double and uncomfortable. Plus there was a problem with payments. I know I went through booking .com but I paid for three rooms but when we got there I found I had to pay again for the third room. I was not happy. The receptionist tried to help but could.I We have stayed at Forest Pines before and it was wonderful. But sadly this time it wasnt The third room was good.
Room was a good size, - bed was comfy, room was quiet- enjoyed being able to use sauna/steam room, pool area was good- breakfast had lots of great options
bathroom looking a little worn, grout not as clean as could be, some of the furniture was looking tired & worn pool area was clean but changing rooms/showers especially need major cleaning
Lovely food service from Emily was excellent
Emily w in the grill restaurant was outstanding very helpful and informative
Excellent golf course. Well looked after in the Golf bar before and after our game. Lovely evening meal.. thankyou Tanya who served us this evening in the restaurant
Facilities were excellent, we didn’t get a chance to explore the spa but will on a future visit. Breakfast was very well appointed and full of multiple options.
We were situated in an older wing of the hotel, and ended up in a room with a noisy water pump / toilet pump which kept us up until an ungodly hour, however we were moved rooms without question and compensated more than adequately for the inconvenience, the staff were incredible with their gratuity and we would happily stay again despite the issue.
I recently visited a hotel in Lincolnshire as part of a coach tour and was extremely impressed. The hotel was excellent, the service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Lovely Alex is so kind and helpful. I would especially like to mention Angela on reception, who went above and beyond to look after my needs. Her care, kindness and professionalism made a real difference to my stay. Angela is an absolute asset to the company and should be truly cherished. Staff who provide this level of outstanding service deserve to be recognised. Thank you so much, Angela, for making my stay so enjoyable. You are a real credit to the hotel.
Room 301-308 I believe is located near speakers which starts playing music from 6.30 till around 10pm 😏 . Breakfast is very poor like in 2 star ⭐ hotels . Actually never had so bad breakfast . Only food was bacon 🥓 . Oh and was seen some insects in room 301 where we was staying for 2 nights
It’s one of our favourite places, it’s always a lovely stay
The pool and spa
Bed a little too firm
great service in the restaurant care of Emily Wu. Very good room with two double beds giving a comfortable night for my wife and myself. Overall staff did everythging needed at a full hotel. Would certainly return
Great. Lovely food and quick service
Absolutely amazing time and a special mention to Emily who served our table. She did an amazing job in keeping us water and fed. Excellent service.
golf with the lads - great hotel and venue. Food excellent, service excellent Big shout to Emily our server - great service and food - highly recommended 👍
Fit for purpose and the bed was comfortable - close to wedding venue.
For the price it felt a bit expensive, probably wouldn’t stay again, feels a little bit dated and worn.
We'd already stayed here in the past so it wasn't a difficult decision staying again. Gorgeous hotel, rooms are lovely, very clean and perfect location for our stay. However, we weren't overly impressed with our welcome or watching others having issues when we arrived. This is based on our experience alone but we realised we were not on our own in suffering issues regarding the reception staff and hotel policies in general. I called to check if there were accessible rooms available before jumping on Booking.com to do my booking. They are my go to. However I was talked into placing a booking for 2 rooms at over £160 each because I was told they were the only rooms available of that kind for our dates. Firstly I cannot believe that my 84 year old disabled mother was charged the same as we were for our king room for 2! Secondly after this was booked thinking it would be cheaper direct as is for alot of hotels, we find vastly cheaper prices on Booking.com for the same rooms which were still available! We felt very cheated and upon bringing this up got bluntly told we were too late to argue the toss or get any type of discount. Added to which according to a sign in reception, if we booked direct we should have received a 10% discount. This was not noted on our invoice! We do not have money to burn and returned to the hotel based on a previous lovely experience so this was not a great start to what should have been a nice weekend celebration. There were 2 further issues with family's whilst we were debating ours on arrival and the members of staff just didn't seem respectful or attempt to compromise. It came across as rules are rules and there's no room for compromise. Its a beautiful hotel, this won't deter from us staying again and we won't be going direct to book again but feel we need some compensation for this really unsettling situation.
Loved the golf and hotel - should have done less golf because I didn’t use the lovely facilities as much as I would have liked
Beautiful with a great little pub around the corner.
Room was comfy. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
Bedroom was very warm with no air conditioning
Staff were polite and helpful.
Room was very dusty and bed really not comfy with only one pillow and towel each in a king suite. Corridors littered with empty glasses and trays not collected for hours.
Visited the restaurant on Saturday 15th August with family. We were all served by Tanya, who looked after as extremely well- smiling, trying to help with advice, being so quick with taking orders and serving. Thank you, Tanya for looking after us and being so attentive. I can recommend the food and the service 100%.
We like going to forest pines however booked a package Monday golf bed and breakfast evening meal with golf the next day. Monday was so packed on the golf course it was not enjoyable. Tuesday was great. But do not stay in the room 316 or any of the 300- 316 as we was by an outside generator and the kitchen plus the noise from the toilets being flushed. The generator was unbearable all night didn’t sleep a wink I have never done a review before but I feel people should should know if they are put in that section say no as I will request when I go again to stay in the other part that I have stayed in. I did mention to the receptionist who apologised but too late really.
The spa facilities was good room very nice and staff friendly liked that they contacted me to ask if I wanted to add any extras wine or breakfast etc
Some of the food is expensive
Very friendly staff
The pillows but that is obviously just personal to me some might love them
It was my partners birthday and they decorated the room for him
The area, there’s not much around
Excellent facilities and great ev charging facilities
Coffee at breakfast was not great
Breakfast was superb again. All staff met were polite and efficient. Disabled parking was limited.
Coming againNot sure all disabled spaces were taken by blue card holders?
Everything
Food menu
Facilities
Location of room, some staff were not as cheery as expected
Nice quality room, good shower, excellent staff
Too many noisey golfers, dried out breakfast, room location, doors that slammed at the time
Clean rooms friendly staff
No problems very satisfied
Overall a good location and package, the staff especially the old ladies were very caring with a personal touch, it was like they were beyond the call of their duty.
Location of the room was right at the back, there was no direct lift and my wife struggle to walk with stick as she is recovering from a stroke. Not a good choice of limited vegetarian food. The pizza we ordered was not up to the mark. There were flies in the buffet area and I was encouraging staff to get rid of these flies as the food was effected. The first room we got no. 6 was really bad, no chair, no TV remote control, and very big noise coming after every few minutes, but our room was changed to 58, it was good but was bit far, for my wife to walk.
Size of room. Accessibility.
Food poor value for money and poor choice in the bar menu.
Easy access from the motorway. Staff were pleasant. Room a good size
Beds weren't very comfortable. Lighting was poor. Only side and table lamps, no central light. People were very noisy going past the room at night.
Comfortable, friendly staff, nice atmosphere
Hotel staff were lovely, really helpful and courteous. Room was clean and extremely comfortable.
Bar food was a bit lack lustre and tasted of nothing much.
The golf course and hotel bar area were nice.
The room was dated and lack of plug sockets by bed. Breakfast was only mediocre.
Location & front desk staff.
No air conditioning & breakfast quality was just okay.
The rooms were big and comfortable
No air conditioning in the bedrooms and it was 28degrees outside so the room was hot.
Swimming pool, pines bar and spa treatments
I didn’t like the bug party of nigiri that pushed in front of us twice at reception. We didn’t like burnt chips or ravioli not cooked properly
The toilet was dirty and the room supplies - toilet rolls and water were not enough.
It is a shame when a relatively decent stay in a place is marred by the attitude of a small number of staff members but on this occasion it was. The main barman (I could name) was probably the most non customer facing person to have been in that role. He was aggressive in his tone, unwelcoming, and made interactions feel bothersome. The breakfast waitress was similar and shared his skill set. All other staff were very pleasant, standards were fair in everything else, leisure area was nice. Towels didn’t smell very good would be my only comment. Will I stay again? No.
Has a superb afternoon at Forest Pines . Special shout at to the bar lady Mandy who was lovely and went above and beyond .
Dinner in the evening was great, staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Bed was very comfortable.
I had to change the first room due to black mould in the shower and dirty toilet. Although the alternative was cleaner, there were still cobwebs and marks (looked like coffee) on the bathroom door and frame. The carpet was frayed and well worn.
Staff = all excellent Rooms = ok but some rooms are VERY far from reception or spa. Some rooms no AC. Not all rooms had usb connectors or all lights working. But comfy bed. Can say this as we changed rooms on arrival Breakfast = spot on Dinner = overpriced and small portions. Our 70 quid allowance in our deal could not cover the food bill. £12.50 for 3 scallops and £35 for lamb shank and veg. Golf = Excellent (did not play this time but have played there before Bar = Good range of drinks Treatments in Spa = wife loved them Spa = pool good temp as was jacuzzi. Small sauna. Overall we had a great stay.
Poor service in the lounge bar. Forgotten drinks, mismatched orders. Room has no Air Conditioning despite charging 181 for one night stay. Very very poor quality amenities given the price point. Would not recommend staying here during summer. Unbearable to sleep in that heat.
Everything was great from the hotel itself to the surroundings and staff. My husband and son had a round of golf while my daughter in law and i had a spa day. Would definately go back.
There was nothing to not like.
Gracie was superb. 5* services
Food was fantastic and Gracie our waitress was superb.
The gents enjoyed their two rounds of golf, while the ladies relaxed and enjoyed treatments in the spa. A lovely setting for a one night staycation.
We live close by the Forest Pines and pop in for a morning coffee now and again with our well trained black dog. The lounge area is a good size and is a very pleasant place to relax. We have come across good staff and some a bit miserable. However today the place was busy and only one person was running the whole show. She was fabulous; big smile, cheerful, efficient and keeping everyone happy. Who was this wonderwoman -- ANNA. She deserves a commendation from the management team.
Evie Did a great shoulder, neck and head massage would recommend.
Had the pleasure of being looked after by Anna in the bar. She was super friendly and a real credit to the hotel! Well done Anna.
Had a lovely meal in main restaurant on Monday 27th July food and service were top notch and reasonable prices. Experience was enhanced by our waitress Emily who was attentive and efficient through out and really friendly. Had a similar experience the previous week when our waitress was Tanya and was a reason for our return. Hopefully will be back soon.
The hotel and the facilities were good however the bed and the bedding were not good at all. The quilt was very heavy and bumpy and not smooth, the filling seemed all over the place. The pillows were the same, all lumpy and uneven. Spoilt our rest time. Been to other Q hotels which were fine but because of the lack of comfort in the bedroom we would not return to this one. The wait in the restaurant for our evenings meal was extremely long and we had to chase up a couple of our courses. The staff would sit you but then seem to forget about you.
Lovely hotel - excellent golf (if you want to play) lovely food in the restaurant and a shout out to Tanya for her excellent service with a smile.
We are staying for a few days and used the Grill restaurant our 2nd night. We had a lovely meal in the Grill and were served by Emily who was extremely courteous and friendly and very attentive given it was a busy night in the restaurant. Meals arrived quickly too. All in all a lovely experience and will use the Grill restaurant again during our stay.
I ate in the restaurant and as well as the food being delicious, Tanya the waitress really enhanced the experience with her friendly smile and excellent service. The food was on time and all courses were served at the same time as the person I was dining with, which I really appreciated. Thank you Tanya!
Fantastic stay, fantastic course and we were really well looked after by a lovely waitress in the restaurant by Emily W!
Stayed overnight for business, pleasant room. Due to location chose to eat in the restaurant. We had Lovely food and was taken care of by Nikita who was attentive and friendly , was she was an excellent waitress who added to the dining experience .
Recently stayed at the Hotel, the room was lovely with everything needed, nice and clean. We had a spa treatment and restaurant booking in with our package and neither disappointed us, we left the spa feeling very relaxed (floating on a cloud), and our evening meal was superb, Tanya our waitress was amazing, she made sure we were well looked after. Then in the morning we had a lovely breakfast before departing, we left feeling relaxed, energised, and stress free, Thank you.
Nice hotel, comfortable room.
No air conditioning. Children not allowed in pool at times
Really good stay the food was amazing the hotel was massive and the person who served us (Anna) was lovely and kind the golf course is good to play on aswell and amazing service from the lads in the golf shop thank you for amazing service.
Went for a golf society golf day and had good, friendly & efficient service at the Pines Bar from Mandy
The thing that has prompted me to leave a review is to say how friendly and helpful the staff were throughout our stay. The accommodation was lovely, we had a suite, and the menu had an excellent range of food choices and was all delicious. We came for the golf and that was really good too.
We had a lovely meal in the lounge, Anna was our server and she was fab, super friendly and handled all our allergy requirements fabulously.
We always stay when we're visiting family ,I have some mobility issues and so when I ask the staff on booking can they put me near to reception as possible they never fail to do so.. Staff are always welcoming and friendly
Just couple of small things The wardrobe was untidy and had spare bedding just rammed in it and we only had one pillow on the bed ,staff did bring more when we rang and asked for more .
Lovely place to stay and wonderful staff . Especially Brooklyn in the bar , she was so helpful in ordering the food
Great golfing stay for our group of 18. I know that it’s not always easy with this number but FP are well equipped and it all was very smoothly accomplished. Must mention Mandy in the Pines bar for exceptional service. She took care of us so well it made our visit extra special.
My wife and I spent 2 nights here and we couldn't fault anything. Staff were excellent, hotel was well presented and very clean. Our room was very spacious. Couldn't fault the food. In all, excellent
