Avignon Grand Hotel

Nada

The room was spacious and clean. The location was excellent, right next to the station

The mattress on the bed was too hard

Läget, rymligt, rent. Trevlig personal

Our room was very large, clean and had very effective air conditioning. The hotel is in a great location just outside the old city walls, and the large underground car park with direct access to the hotel was very convenient.

Overall the hotel felt pretty tired and in need of a refurb. The buffet breakfast was fairly limited and only OK quality. The hotel has a bar, but it's basically just part of the reception area and not at all a nice place to grab a drink. Fortunately we find several really nice restaurants within a short walk of the hotel.

location and the staff room sizes

the furniture was dated so was the carpeting

The staff at the property were all so very helpful and lovely. The room was comfortable and clean and in the best location.

Très bien situé, personnel accueillant. Hôtel très bien équipé et propre

Parking payant

Size of room and spacious nature of overall hotel was a real positive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Short walk into the centre of old Avignon for all the main attractions, while very close to train and bus stations for longer trips.

Shame the restaurant is only open for breakfeast with very limited options in the hotel for the rest of the day. Rooms are a little tired / dull in terms of decor.

Gute Lage

Petit déjeuner top - chambre impec- personnel aimable !

RAS

Posizione vicina al centro ma tranquilla. Piscina sul tetto. Camera stupenda, molto spaziosa e pulitissima. Top

Colazione buona ma migliorabile. Parcheggio caro

Great location to visit the old town area! Very spacious rooms that commodate up to 3 persons in one room, which is rare in France!

Some facilities area could be better/ upgraded or need renovation like the eating area chairs; ceiling can have AC condensation that could be inspected as liquid can fall onto your food (can cost food contamination).

The selection and quality of the breakfast was excellent.

The carpet in the room is due for a refurbishment, it was clean but very worn.

Location was great. A good base to walk into the centre from. Also good to have a car park underneath the hotel

The twin rom smelt badly of drains / sewage. In the double room, we were woken at 4:00 AM and after that by a regular buzzing noise, We mentioned both of these issues to the reception team, but they have not followed up as they said they would. We have a recording of the buzzing noise and played this to the person at reception.

Letti grandi e spaziosi

Piscina piccolissima Funzionava solo un ascensore

L’accueil

Lokalizacja z dobrym dojazdem samochodem.

Posizione fronte mura, parcheggio sotterraneo a prezzo giusto, staff preparato e gentile, letti comodi, stanza grande e pulita. Ottima colazione

Niente

Colazione ottima, parcheggio comodo sotto l'hotel, posizione buona appena fuori dalle mura

Funcionários simpáticos, a localização, o conforto e tamanho do quarto

Colazione ottima e personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Rien

Posizione ottima, piscina sol tetto davvero piacevole, camera famigliare grande e confortevole, parcheggio convenzionato

Run from this hotel! Nothing works well: the air conditioning, the distribution of towels, the amenities... nothing. Everything is old, weary and torn. They work with the Guest Reservation, who are true gangsters: be specially careful about this! Complaining to the manager of the hotel about all the problems and dishonesty was like speaking to a wall. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Avoid as much as possible!

Location near train station as well as not to far from heart of the city

Großzügige Zimmer Gute Lage Sehr freundliches Personal

Great location, right at one of the town's gate. Clean and large facility with a small swimming pool, small gym and underground parking lot. Great breakfast by the way.

None

Room for the disabled was very good - placed next to the escalator, with direct access to a large (shared) terrace. Breakfast was average (but not exceptional) for the value. Parking close but must be paid for. We had dinner on the terrace and room service was very good.

A four-star hotel should not have worn and broken (!) outside terrace furniture :-(

Hotel vicino alla stazione e fuori dalle mure . In poco tempo sei in centro Camere spaziose Hall stupenda

Big quiet room, helpful staff.

No motorbikes allowed in their garage so we had to park our bike at a different hotel. No mention of this in their parking info.

Rien

Ottima posizione, struttura pulita e molto silenziosa , camera molto spaziosa e comoda

Fantastic location, nice stay overall. The pool and sunbeds a bit old but at least is something extra.

All ok

Camera bellissima Staff gentilissimo

Location was very good

Cleanness
