Hôtel de l'Horloge

Staff were lovely and helpful, view from the balcony was great, the breakfast was fine. Avignon is beautiful.

The pictures online gave the impression that the rooms were far larger than they actually were.

Great location near the city centre and local attractions. Clean and comfortable room and large bathroom. Well-stocked breakfast buffet and friendly helpful staff.

Location was excellent, very clean and comfortable

Staff is great, location is excellent

Rooms are tiny, uncomfortably so. Too small for a table even.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms, cute hotel with lots of corners of interest. My daughter had a room with an adorable balcony looking out over the rooftops of Avignon. The breakfast was delicious. Also the location could not have been better.

My room was next to a disco or some sort of bumping musical activity.

Fantastic location! Easy to find and right on the square.

I should have chosen a bigger room- but what I booked was fine.

Todella siisti huone. Ihanat hygieniatuotteet. Hyvä aamiainen. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Kadulta kuului melua pitkin yötä.

Great location. Steps from everything, shops, restaurants activities.

Nothing

The location is at the city-center and walkable to all the historical sites. Our room is very clean and comfortable for two people. The hotel also offers nutritious breakfast with many fresh fruits, cold-cuts, hot dishes, delicious baked goods, cereals, and various drinks. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely hotel in a prefect location. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Parking was easy but outside the city walls so getting the suitcases inside is a bit of a challenge but that is to be expected inside the city walls! Highly recommend!

Fantastic

Helpful and kind staff. Well located in the centre of Avignon. Spotless comfortable large room with good amenities. Great breakfast

LOVED this hotel! Great location. Right on the square a block from the Palais Des Papes. Tons of restaurants on the square. True French experience. Breakfast was fantastic! Loved every minute here. We stayed in the penthouse. A few stairs but an incredible view of the town’s rooftops.

Deveriam alertar antes!

Convenient to the tram station and to the Palais de Pope.

Staff were simply outstanding. Room was spotless, breakfast first class. Cannot recommend this hotel high enough. Superb !

Breakfast was excellent. This is a beautiful boutique hotel. Convenient location to all the sites and walking distance to shopping and great restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. I can't speak highly enough of the staff.

Pleasant little hotel! Great spot with many outdoor cafes'

The breakfast was very nice, including eggs and bacon, a selection of breads, and fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel was quite nice and in the heart of Avignon.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Avignon. It’s right in the main plaza with walking distance to a myriad of great restaurants. The hotel is clean, quaint and has a very traditional vibe. The rooms are a bit small, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly, helpful and flexible.

Small but adequate room with. Nice view of the church clock Right on the main square in Avignon close to everything, The staff were amazing, especially great non touristy dinner recommendations. Nice. Breakfast too!! Would stay here again!!

Overall good hotel and great location

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Great location and the hotel was comfortable

Great location with friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is at the corner of Rue de la Republique and Place de l'Horloge and is superbly situated for restaurants, shops and the Palais des Papes and the Pont d'Avignon. A free hopper bus stops right outside the hotel and the road train passes too although you have to get it at the Palais des Papes. Hotel is really comfortable and the staff make you feel like family and cannot do enough to help. There isn't a bar in the hotel but plenty around it, the breakfast is lovely with a mix of breads, cheeses, cold meat, eggs (scrambled and hard/soft boiled), cooked sausages and bacon, fresh coffee, freshly pressed orange juice, pastries and a cheerful "Bonjour". I would highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to visiting it again although I believe they are refurbishing after New Year.

Centrally located Hotel, very easy to walk around. Staff were so lovely, friendly, helpful. Breakfast was great also.

Loved my Little single room on 3rd floor. Breakfast was good! Staff nice. Good location

Great location

Nothing!

Central location

We stay here every year and they never accommodate early arrivals, not even by 5 minutes. Seems like a silly policy when the rooms are ready

Wonderful location. Lovely breakfast. Only negative were the steep stairs to room 324. However we had absolutely wonderful caring staff who helped us with our luggage. Thank you

Very central location, polite and friendly staff, very good breakfast. All in all an excellent hotel.

Nothing springs to mind.

Excellent hotel

Extremely disappointed with Hôtel de l’Horloge. We had to cancel our reservation 1.5 days in advance due to circumstances completely out of our control. Our rental car was unexpectedly cancelled, trains were fully booked, and we were left stranded with our 7-month-old baby. I contacted the hotel immediately, explained everything, and asked if they could show some flexibility, as this was only meant to be a short stopover on our way to a wedding. Since there were no available tickets via Avignon, we had no choice but to take a different route. Their response came two days later, by which time it was very clear they had chosen profit over compassion. Booking.com showed goodwill and refunded our car rental, understanding that these situations can happen, especially when traveling with a small baby. Hôtel de l’Horloge, however, chose greed.

The property is BEAUTIFUL and in the most incredible location. We were only there an afternoon and one night so didn’t get a chance to see it all I’m sure but so delightful. Comfortable sized room, great value for money. Beautiful toiletries in the bathroom, and everything was lovely and tidy.

Honestly nothing! I guess you could say that the room was a bit dated but I would say that’s the point not an issue.

Area is historic and cool. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was very good, but 20 euros seems too expensive.

Colazione buona

Perfect location, friendly staff, great breakfast.

Nothing, all good.

Great hotel in a central location, all basic amenities covered and the staff were helpful.

Excellent location, just 10 minutes walk from the central railway station Clean facilities Extremely friendly and helpful staff

Nothing

Sehr gute Früstuck.
