Restaurant service was great. Chefs went out of the way to service chilli-free food that we could eat. I'm grateful for their help in this.

Housekeeping was poor. On Day 2, room was left unlocked all day after housekeeping services - they just forgot to lock the door. Though management checked CCTV to ensure no one entered it during that time, I didn't expect such a blunder at the Taj. On Day 1, housekeeping services were not performed on time. They told me at ~10am, housekeeping would be performed. When we returned around 2pm, it was still not done.

Great hotel with excellent service. Special thanks to Muskan (Manager) for being so helpful, courteous, and professional. She made our stay pleasant and memorable. Highly recommended!

The staff, first of all, were sensational. Both the front desk team with people like Mr Mithi Ray, Anshul, Farkhan and Shantana and the dining room with Mr Sharad overseeing everything and individuals like Sanya and Farheem providing outstanding service, it could not have been better. Security too was excellent with Mr Amit running a tight ship. I should mention the food in the dining room was brilliant under the talented supervision of chef de cuisine Rohit. Overall, a wonderful experience.

We loved the stay at Taj Mahal Lucknow, which was made even more special by Ms. Vanshika. She made our day memorable by providing extra decorations, a cake and a parting gift for both of us. Overall, we were happy beyond our expectations by choosing to stay at Taj for our wedding anniversary :)

The breakfast buffet was the highlight of each day with all of our favourite Indian treats freshly cooked and beautifully displayed. The made to order dishes from the cooking station are worth a trip back just to enjoy the fabulous food again. The service by the staff was First Class. A special recognition should be give to Faheem, who was very attentive and looked after us. Nail, Rafat, Monika and Farkash also made our stay very pleasant and provided great assistance. Kudos to the whole team for their service and professionalism.

Trying to reach the eateries along the river edge park and the Dr Ambedkar Memorial Park was a bit tricky for us who prefer to walk as the Gomti Nagar Ext. Bypass is a bit tricky to cross with no safe pedestrian crossing. The current wing of the Hotel, which was under construction at the time was of little or no inconvenience to us.

The staff seems to be learning on the job and occasionally you can be a victim of their lack of experience. The breakfast is an absolute zoo, expect to get trampled. The room is tired and not particularly luxurious. Seems like it was a great place to stay in the 90s.

Amazing hotel! It’s conveniently located close to the city center while still being nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle, making it a peaceful retreat. The reception area is grand & very beautiful (looks like a palace), and the staff are extremely professional, friendly, and attentive. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a warm welcome that immediately makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of. The food is exceptional, with fantastic options for breakfast, brunch, dinner, and snacks/drinks. The variety and quality are so impressive that you really don’t feel the need to dine elsewhere. A special highlight is the live classical music during breakfast in the reception area, which creates a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. The pool and garden area are beautiful and tranquil—perfect for unwinding. The entire property is elegantly decorated, creating a refined yet very comfortable environment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay.

It met every aspect of a Taj Hotel. There was a marriage going on in the property, and yet they took care of the guests as if each one of us were so very special. We were given rooms in the wing which would have less disturbance and it indeed was quiet and soothing. Muskan and Ayush at the reception were really very very nice. So was the person at the travel desk. Sanya, Yogesh and Akansha at the F&B section went out of their way to do things for us. I needed to pack some Avadhi food for my family and boys and unfortunately the shops were closed. Sanya consulted with us regarding what kind of food we were looking at and then spoke with the chef. The entire thing was frozen such that it would not get spoilt in our long journey. Such care and hospitality deserve special mention. Sanya if you are reading the review. The boys enjoyed the food so much that they have thanked you from the bottom of their hearts. The next stop was the Oudhiyana restaurant. It is simply outstanding. The ambience, the little nook where we sat, the live Ghazal and then the food. Oh my. All the sensory buds were activated. Chandani, Abu and Mr. Anil were excellent at their job. I hope Taj Mahal keeps up with the Taj standard and never falter. The floors, the decor, everything was very very nice. Oh and I must mention the pianist, the flute playing lady and the person who was playing the sitar at the marriage lawn. They are masters at their work. Cheers to them.

Very difficult to write. I seriously have to think and yes maybe a balcony on the third floor overlooking the lawn below would really be so nice.

It’s a well maintained property with a sense of grandeur. Staff were very courteous.

We needed a thermos for hot water for my mother but they couldn’t provide it after repeatedly asking for it.

The place was beautiful, and loads of services on site. Plenty of places to sit and relax. Breakfast was FANTASTIC with so many awesome choices. Location close to the Dr Ambedkar Park was great (and well worth a visit), though you need transport to get anywhere else (unless you're up for a long walk like we were).

Staff were a bit too attentive, we just wanted some peace, but kept getting asked about how things were every 5 minutes.

Very good value for money, great ambience, staff work with you as if they are part of your business & want it to grow. Really appreciate the staff in cook up some of the best Lucknow property.

Very good and beautiful hotel with excellent staff. All wishes are fulfilled. However, almost every day there is very loud music with a lot of bass coming from the neighboring building until late at night, making it impossible to fall asleep. Unfortunately, even after several phone calls, no solution was offered. Only at check-out was I asked why I hadn’t reported the issue — they said they would have offered me another room. It seems the staff were poorly instructed in this regard. A pity. As an addition: the nighttime noise occurred on two out of the three nights I stayed there.

Slow restaurant with very few competent staff who knew what they were doing. Could be so much better.

Hospitality is top notch, food options were great, and location is good considering lucknow. Diner and Breakfast buffet was well elaborated, and items were tasty. Rooms were nice and clean and were adequate in size with nice garden and pool view.

Since we had our kid with us and there was no kids play area that is one thing missing.

Love the breakfast and also the love music from the very talented flutist who played so beautifully.

We didn't like food. I booked dinner and breakfast with my stay but horrible taste. Unexpected worst food in Taj Mahal Lucknow.Breakfast was little better than the dinner.08/08/2025 was my wife birth day date so I thought Taj would be best, but still we both are shoked that how Taj can serve this worst dinner. Earlier we planned to extend our booking for next 4 days but after dinner we shifted to Novotel and yes we are highly satisfied with food and accommodation both here in Novotel.Just due to food , I will not recommend Taj Mahal Lucknow.

Located close to the gomti river and Lohia park, it’s a lovely property. The breakfast offers a wide choice of items including live counters. Staff is very courteous and attentive

They should have an alternate lady massage therapist when one goes on leave. This is the second time I was told that therapist was unavailable. Also they could upgrade the salon area.

Overall quality of service was very good - warm, welcoming, friendly, efficient, Food quality at Oudhyana was excellent.

The food quality at the Sahib Restaurant (where we had dinner & breakfast) was variable. SLA for all hotel staff: Given the regular health scares these days, the management need to mandate that your staff who are unwell, to commit to proactively informing management and also taking proactive steps to minimise the risk of infecting colleagues, guests, visitors. Eg, if one of your housekeeping or restaurant or check-in staff has a cold/ flu, he / she should not only medicate, but wear a mask all the time and inform his/ her line manager about the health issue. and this must be recorded on your internal systems in some simple way, just in case the information is needed in the future.

Hotel should provide comfortable wireless phone chargers or modern IO such as USB-C. Carpet appear clean but aren’t spotless. People-Food-Courtesy is of top quality which made my experience comfortable. Thank you.
