Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Nothing stands out particularly. It was just the overall stay. everything was there. It was clean and tidy when I entered the room. It didn't lack for any comfort. Plenty of towels, soap, tea /coffee and any thing else you might need. I like I got two 'keys', sometimes you have to ask for a second one.
Choice of channels on television wasn't great plus the remote might need replacing. I will admit that I don't watch much tv but for someone who might the choice should have been better.

Noisy guests - not at all the fault of the hotel but drunk Americans in the hall at 3 am were not great.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026The best feature of the hotel is the restaurant / bar guys. We got really good advice from them. Very polite and helpful. The hotel is a bit expensive for what it offers, but this is the reality of Ireland.
It was probably my fault to not notice this in the reservation process, but the room had no air conditioning. I think our room was above some kitchen exhaust, so keeping the window open let in some food smell that after a while is not pleasant. I wish there was air conditioning to keep the windows closed.

Room temperature was fixed to no more than 22 degrees, this is a big downside. A bit of mold smell, the carpets could be replaced, but overall great value for money paid.
