This is more of a “rooming house” or a dormitory than a B&B! The room is functional but the bathroom is TINY! The “dining “ area is “gas station cafe”… again more like a cafeteria! It’s filled with students from the local college during the week!! Traffic on this street is terrible from about 4:30-7 pm!! Do not get a room in the front as it could be very noisy if there’s a rugby game as the Arena is just down the street! Before booking I read many others reviews and I have no idea honestly what they thought was “warm”, “cute” or “”comfortable”. It was clean and functional!

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026We had a very pleasant stay at St. Judes Lodge in Galway. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and have everything you need for a good stay. We had a small issue with the room we were initially assigned, but the staff handled it immediately and changed us to another room without any hassle. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was also very good and offered a great variety of options. The location is excellent, just a short and pleasant walk from Galway city centre. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and definitely recommended!
There was really nothing we disliked about our stay. Everything was very good, from the room and breakfast to the location and the friendly staff. Even the small issue with our initial room was resolved quickly and professionally. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Niente scuse, niente soluzioni. Non è stato affatto bello.
