The hot water is not clear god knows whats in it, the bed is uncomfortable, you feel that they know that they are the only 5 stars hotel in town so you see poor customer service in many aspects. Not welcoming.

Reviewed Oct 13, 2025The location is fantastic and close to cafes, shopping, local markets, nightlife, the river with Ulsan Grand Park and the Onggi Pot Village not far (both highly recommended). The buffet breakfast was excellent with a large selection to choose from. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and enjoyed our stay at Lotte, Ulsan🙂
The room was a little dated and showing wear, but this did not affect our stay and we would definitely recommend.

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025

Reviewed May 27, 2025Staff were very responsive (but ineffective for a/c), room was large, location (near restaurants, shops, public transport) ideal.
We were there about 5 nights (a couple of tourists). We found the airconditioning poor. It became too warm in the middle of the night; this could only be fixed (not by in-room controls) but EACH night when we were there, by a phone call at around 2am to Reception. Staff there fixed it remotely but then by about 6am, the temperature had crept up. The windows did not open. When we complained to staff several times no-one could rectify this problem; they were also not keen for us to move rooms..

Reviewed Apr 5, 2025Hotel is in the city centre (Note: KTX station is outside the city, you need to take 5001 bus. The station in the city is not the KTX station). Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Room quality is exactly what you'd expect for this price/stars level. nothing to complain about. great staff

Reviewed Apr 4, 2025Room is very spacious, bed is big and comfortable, toilet comes with seat heater and bidet, nice shower water pressure and temperature, overall hotel is very clean and nice ambience. They are also environmentally conscious, eliminated single-use plastic amenities. Staff able to communicate fluently in English and very helpful. The Korean breakfast spread is awesome with various side dishes, seaweed soup, porridge, it just warms you up and energize you for the day. Location is just genius, you are at the center of everything with cafes and shops lining up in all four directions of the hotel, including the bus stops just right in front of the hotel. Definitely will be my choice for stay, if I ever visit Ulsan again.
I can't control the air-conditioning, unable to set the temperature, fan speed and mode. I guess it is centralized? Perhaps can prepare a simple instruction besides the control panel for reference.

The AC was not working for some reason. The room was super hot. There was not power outlet to charge my phone and watch. The only power outlet is next to the office desk which is far away. The room and furniture look a bit old and I feel like it needs replacing and renovation
