Location and roof top bar was the best

It has the rooftop view of Parthenon. I just love that?! Near to every transports and happening area.

La ubicación del hotel es fantástica, a un paso de la plaza Syntagma, del barrio de Plaka, de restaurantes... El personal del hotel es muy amable. Nos dieron una habitación superior a la que teníamos reservada, muy espaciosa y con una bonita terraza. La cama era muy cómoda. El desayuno también estaba muy bueno. Estuvimos muy a gusto, para repetir.

Excellent location with the best staff. Breakfast was okay. Rooms were big and comfortable with a large and clean bathroom. Stunning view of the acropolis during the day, sunset and night from the roof top bar.

The location is very central and convenient. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very accommodating. The rooftop bar is really spectacular.

The location though convenient was in a very noisy crowded part of Athens.

Some of the rooms you’re looking into an alleyway or I was looking at a Thai massage place , talking etc was noisy but I got moved to a higher floor and room was lovely with a view, other than ending up going to hospital it was good!

L’emplacement

Alors que l’hôtel est annoncé accessible aux personnes handicapées, les 2 ascenseurs donnant aux chambres ne sont pas assez larges pour laisser passer le fauteuil roulant. Le bar au dernier étage n’est pas non plus accessible en fauteuil. Il y a cette fois-ci des marches. La moquette du couloir donnant sur la chambre est tachée à plusieurs endroits. Le sol de la chambre est en partie râpée. La fenêtre de la chambre donne sur une espèce d’espace intérieur glauque. L’ensemble ne donnait pas l’impression de séjourner dans un hôtel 4 étoiles.

The shower temperature was very unstable and switched between cold and hot. The bathroom basin didn't appear to be connected to the hot water at all as it was one temp and stopped running when turned to the hot side. Contra to info on booking.com, the room is NOT sound proof- you can hear everything going on on the busy high street (including all night drumming from buskers) and people in next room sneezing. There is air con but it's centrally controlled, which to be fair their website does specify. Rooms are tired, with dirty skirting and headboards with obvious dirt and dust and walls and furniture have many scuffs and marks. Bedside table wobbles. Flooring is cheap laminate which is either very old or poorly fitted as the planks are separating from one another in many spots across the room. Also contra to the hotel website there is no fruit basket in the rooms. The reception was perfunctory at best. Many of the TV channels don't work. Bedding is clean and bed comfortable, but in a double room there are 3 pillows, so one of us get only 1 pillow, and the twin beds which have been pushed together in lieu of a double is on wheels and skids away from the wall if you sit in the bed and lean against the wall mounted headboard. The location is excellent, towels were ok.

Location was excellent, right in the heart of Athens, with excellent views of the Parthenon from the roof to bar.

One or two of the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly however there were others we encountered that needed to reconsider their approach to customers. Another annoying quirk is the fact that your room air conditioning temp is controlled by the front desk staff. You have to phone them to get it set. If you catch the wrong person though, you’ll get an argument as to why is was wrong in the first place. Usually your fault!!! The bed was very hard. The staff at the roof top bar, didn’t want to be there….

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, avec un personnel vraiment gentil, chaleureux et attentionné. Notre chambre était très lumineuse et agréable, avec une jolie vue sur l’Acropole. La belle terrasse est également un vrai plus pour profiter de la vue et de l’ambiance d’Athènes. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner, très varié et vraiment bon, avec beaucoup de choix pour bien commencer la journée. Un hôtel très agréable, idéalement situé pour découvrir Athènes. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !

No hotel notification that next building renovations especially breaking of glass windows by the construction crew will happen at midnight on September 7 until 0030 in the morning of September 8. Totally, scary experiences during sleeping time. Unacceptable!

הגעתי עם קבוצה, הזמנתי 12 חדרים, 2-3 חדרים לא היו מוכנים בזמן (בשעה 15:00) וכאשר האורחות נכנסו גילו חדרים שלא עברו ניקיון וחיטוי. בחלקם היה ריח לא נעים. זה לא צריך לקרות, אבל חשוב להגיד שזה טופל בזמן סביר ובסופו של דבר האורחות נכנסו לחדרים נוחים ונקיים.

The location is very central. The rooftop views of the Acropolis were stunning. The Air Conditioning in our room was excellent.

We were put into a side of the Hotel which was obviously not cared for. It was dirty, needed maintenance and insecure. It overlooked a derelict building, the door handle was falling off, no security locks on the doors, the safe was secured to a drawer cabinet that could be picked up and removed. The lift was dirty, has not been cleaned for months and the carpet leading to the room was stained and dirty. It was obvious that any room booked through Booking.com with discount you allocated the worst rooms. After complaining we were given a room on the better side, the difference in quality was unbelievable .

The staff and location was perfect.

The common areas were rundown carpet was dirty and torn in areas Not the hotels fault but there was noise from the next building after 12am overnight to all hours of the morning wasn’t able to sleep. Smashing glass and sweepers all morning. Very disappointing.

Perfect location if you are looking to shop in Ermou. Very close to Plaka and Monasteraki. So many restaurants and bars near by and you do not need a car. The toom was clean and the staff was very accommodating.

I had a pleasant stay at Cypria hotel. The staff were very nice and welcoming, and the room was super clean with a very comfortable bed. The room was a little small, but overall comfortable and had everything I needed. Great location and a good stay overall.

De locatie van het hotel is super, vrijwel alles is vanaf hier lopend te bereiken en ook de metro is vlakbij. Eten kan je al ongeveer voor de deur. De kamers waren niet groot, maar prima uitgerust en altijd schoon. De bedden waren super comfortabel. Het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid met veel keuze, echt voor iedereen iets te vinden.

De airco had van mij een graadje lager mogen staan, dit is centraal geregeld en kan je dus niet zelf instellen. Heel begrijpelijk, maar als het heel warm is moet je daar even aan wennen. Omdat het hotel in een levendige straat ligt kan je soms wat last hebben van geluid van buiten. Dit is natuurlijk een gevolg van een locatie in het centrum, en voor mij was het geen probleem.

Soundproofing, you can easily hear what’s happening in the other rooms. It is also impossible to control the A/C temperature, it’s centrally set. This was very annoying

Central location, clean, very friendly staff and value for money. The hotel has a lobby and a cafeteria where you can sit and relax and at night you can have a drink on the roof top with a view of the Acropolis

While a lovely hotel, the hallway carpets were stained and unsightly showing their age. This gave an air of neglect.

Every single member of the hotel staff was absolutely amazing. You can tell that they genuinely want to help and provide the best possible experience for their guests, always with a smile. Everything I asked for was taken care of, including things that were extra and not necessarily something I would have expected to receive.The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to choose from. Location is great- we did everything by walking. The rooftop has an amazing view of the Acropolis, and the drinks are excellent. The rooms are great as well, especially the ones on the higher floors with a view of the Acropolis. In short, 10/10. Thank you so much!

Λόγω κακοκαιρίας δεν υπήρχε κλιματιστικό για3 μερες καθώς και διακοπή υδροδότησης κάτι που μας εξήγησαν οτι δεν έφταιγαν οι ιδιοι σαν ξενοδοχειο

Que vista! Que localização! A poucos passos de toda área histórica, de bons restaurantes, e fácil acesso ao aeroporto e porto.

A tv poderia ter mais canais, depois de um longo dia, tomar um banho e relaxar com a tv seria bom. A varanda dava para uma parede, péssimo. Seria melhor nem ter.

Our second stay here, our base for central Athens - just off Ermou so near everything you need, but calm and swish. Enjoyed the rooftop bar and the room is great size, with tea and coffee. Bed comfy and the shower was really good.

Loved loved loved the location and the staff! The breakfast had ample options and was fresh and tasty. And the rooftop bar has the most amazing view! Our balcony was spectacular and the room was very well appointed. Would highly recommend!

Conveniently located, within abundant shopping, dining, sight seeing literally steps from the hotel. The staff is fantastic. Very helpful in arranging transport, offering suggestions, and facilitating any needs that come up. Amazing rooftop bar for stunning sunset views of the acropolis. Included breakfast had many quality options and was a real plus.

Rooms were comfortable but sound from a rowdy nearby celebration was loud enough to seep into the room a bit.
