Nice room and rooftop bar. Good location to get to the main attractions.

Location of the hotel was close to many attractions, and the view from the restaurant was very good.

Because the room was located on the 5th floor the view of the Parthenon was somewhat restricted and not the best angle.

The location is very good, and the roof top restaurant is a plus.

Full size bed as requested would have been nice, instead of two single beds that were pushed together. As the room was on the 5th floor the Parthenon view room that was an upgrade did not have the best view of the Parthenon.

Recent upgrade to breakfast area turning into night bar as well is brilliant. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Location is central to everything.

El WiFi andaba muy mal desde el primer día y nunca lo solucionaron. Tampoco funcionaban los controles de la tele y del aire acondicionado. Por el precio no vale la pena.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits à cet hôtel. En arrivant, 2 bouteilles d’eau et rien d’autre dans le frigo. Le lendemain , plus d’eau. À la réception , on nous dit qu’il faut payer les autres. Le rangement dans la salle de bain est pratiquement inexistant. Pour le déjeuner compris, les œufs et le bacon pas vraiment cuit.

Arrived past midnight, checked in then in the morning I realised that the room did not have any sort of light getting in at daytime through the window. I asked to change it. Unfortunately, I was provided a room for guests with 'special needs' in which the bathroom was awful. How come a 9 floor hotel cannot provide an alternative GOOD room for a couple of nights?

Have stayed at the Astor a few times through the years and really like all the updates to the property.

La ubicación era perfecta ya que se encontraba cerca de restaurantes y tiendas del centro de Atenas. El desayuno era correcto con varias opciones para elegir. El tamaño de la habitación un tanto justo para 3 personas pero lo bueno es que ofrecían una tercera cama en lugar de un sofa-cama para mi hija.

Si bien hemos llegado temprano y el horario de entrada era a las 15.00, nos dijeron que harían todo lo posible para darnos la habitación antes, hecho que no ocurrió y tuvimos que esperar hasta esa hora para su acceso. También la hemos dejado mucho antes del horario de salida.

The family room isnt as the pictures. The ACs were making an awful sound. No toilet papers in the bathrooms. There was human hair on the bed and in the bathroom that were supposed to be clean. Balcony of the room was unattainable since there was the AC compressor outside.

Hotel in ottima posizione per visitare la città e per spostarsi, praticamente a un passo da piazza Syntagma e dalla metro per l'aeroporto. L'hotel è bello ed elegante, come si vede in foto. Il personale è gentile, le stanze curate, la colazione ricca e varia. La sala colazione all'ultimo piano ha una vista spettacolare sull'acropoli che è davvero invidiabile. Soggiorno veramente piacevole.

Non sono riuscita a regolare bene l'aria condizionata nella stanza che quindi risultava o troppo calda o troppo fredda. Lo scarico della doccia a raso non scaricava bene e tendeva a fare allagare il bagno e nonostante abbia segnalato il problema non mi pare sia stato risolto. Stanza un po' stretta per posizionare un letto ad una piazza e mezzo, meglio un letto singolo così ci si sarebbe potuti muovere meglio.

Colazione ben variegata con vista pazzesca sull'Acropoli. Opzioni dolci, salate, vegetariane e vegane. Buonissimo lo yogurt. Ciliegina sulla torta: i dolmadakia a presa diretta! Posizione eccellente, a pochi passi da Piazza Syntagma e quindi dalla metropolitana, anche per l'aeroporto. Intorno all'hotel, numerosissimi negozi, locali, ristoranti.

Ubicació fantàstica, molt a prop de la plaça Sintagma, del carrer comercial i de restaurants i cafeteries. Molt bon punt des d'on fer la majoria de visites al centre de la ciutat. Les habitacions són còmodes, àmplies i agradables, tot molt net. El restaurant per l'esmorzar té una vista magnífica de l'Acròpolis i el buffet és molt correcte i variat. Per sopar hi ha plats per picar força diversos i molt bons pel que és una molt bona opció també si algun dia estàvem cansats i no volíem sortir. El personal, tant a la recepció, com el servei de maletes com al restaurant (tant al matí com al sopar) molt simpàtics i atents, sempre amb un somriure i disposats a ajudar. És un hotel per repetir quan torni a Atenes.

Location is perfect for a short stay in Athens. Beds are very comfortable and amenities are adequate.

Check in clerk was rude and dismissive. Although he did finally accommodate our bed requests for our two rooms, he told me I booked for one person in each room which doesn’t make sense since my default on booking is always 2. He shouldn’t be working customer service. The A/C unit blows air directly on the bed and is difficult to redirect.

Posizione eccellente, a pochi minuti a piedi da tutte le attrazioni principali del centro. Camera confortevole, spaziosa, pulita, letti comodissimi. Colazione buonissima, sia dolce che salata e servita nel rooftop più bello di Atene. Fare colazione con una vista spettacolare sull’Acropoli è impagabile. Rapporto qualità prezzo di questa struttura insiperabile!

الغرف صغيرة والتكيف قديم وسيء ولا يرقي الي فندق اربع نجوم حيث انه وهوستل وليس فندق ، كما انه لا يوجد لوبي في الفندق

Tüm otelde koridorlarda ve odalara sinen aşırı kötü bir koku var.sanırım yerlerdeki halılardan ve eskilikten kaynaklı.gece uyurken koku odalara iyice doluyor.Klimalardan nem kokusu geliyor onu kapatsanız koridorlar kokuyor.Odalar asla hijyenik hissettirmiyor,yeterince temizlenmiyor,kahve bölümünde 1 parmak toz vardı house keepinge rica edip temizlettirdik.havlular nevresimler çok kötü kokuyor.banyo çok dar ve duşakabin saçma sapan olduğu için sular dışarı taşıyor.odalar fotolarda göründüğü gibi yeni ve temiz asla değil.Bir daha asla tercih etmem bu fiyata en azından çok daha temiz başka oteller var.

Rooms are a little dated and old but clean. Tub/shower had stains from age (but was clean) and the towels while clean were also dingy (not bright white like you’d expect in a good hotel). Replacing would make a huge difference.

Emplacement très central, à quelques minutes à pied des rues commerçantes. La chambre était de taille très satisfaisante, d’autant plus que nous avons bénéficié d’un surclassement. La literie était également de bonne qualité.

La salle de bains nécessiterait une rénovation, notamment la douche et la chasse d’eau. Nous avons aussi regretté l’absence de lit double, seuls deux lits simples étant proposés. Le principal point négatif reste le rooftop : c’était l’une des raisons principales de notre choix, mais il s’est révélé très décevant, car il est entièrement fermé, contrairement à ce que les photos laissaient penser.

Paper coffee cups in the room cold have been glass, water should be supplied daily, not only at the beginning of your stay - given Athens are mostly visited in very hot summers! Air conditioning unit could use an upgrade.

The view from the room was simply terrible. Although the website mentioned that the view in single rooms is an internal view, it did not specify that it faces a depressing wall and that the window cannot be opened for the duration of the stay. It was extremely disappointing and significantly ruined the travel experience, essentially turning the room into nothing more than a sleeping bag.

L’emplacement est top, nous n’avons pas pris le métro une seule fois pour visiter tout est à proximité. Pour ressortir le soir manger, il y a rapidement des quartier sympas.

Bardzo ładne wnętrza lobby. Lokalizacja rewelacyjna, wszędzie można było dotrzeć na piechotę. Obsługa pomocna, późne wymeldowanie bez problemów. Śniadanie smaczne i różnorodne, nie najlepsze jakie kiedykolwiek jadłam, ale bardzo porządne. Ładny widok z restauracji.

Pokój z oknem na dziedziniec był praktycznie pokojem bez okna, ponieważ okno wychodziło na ścianę sąsiedniego budynku, było z mlecznej szyby i tylko uchylne. To nie było przyjemne.

Curtains could be larger to block out light from the street at night

The staff at Astor Athens made this stay. From check-in to check-out, every single person we interacted with was honestly some of the most polite hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. Nothing felt like an inconvenience to them; requests were handled promptly and with a smile. It really elevated the whole experience and made us feel taken care of the entire time. Would happily stay again just for the service alone.

Das Zimmer war hell und geräumig und hatte einen tollen Blick! Die Betten und Kissen waren super bequem – leider hatte die Bettwäsche Polyesteranteil, mit reiner Baumwolle wäre es noch gemütlicher. Uns war wichtig ein Hotel zu buchen, dass es schon länger gibt und das keine Bewohner verdrängt, wie viele der neuen Boutiquehotels und Airbnbs, dafür ist das Astor eine sehr gute Lösung! Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit einer wechselnden Auswahl.

Kleine Details hätten noch besser sein können, der Kühlschrank im Zimmer war nicht ganz sauber (alles andere war aber blitzblank, also kein großes Problem!)

First impressions Paramount and lifted was so helpful and showed me around the room. All the staff were warm and friendly. The beds were comfy. The facilities were amazing. This is not our first time at this hotel and we were here last year but it has definitely got a facelift and it’s even more beautiful.

Atina’daki konaklamamızdan çok memnun kaldık. Odamızdan Acropolis’i izleyebilmek bu seyahati bizim için çok daha özel ve unutulmaz hale getirdi. Otelin konumu gerçekten kusursuz; Syntagma Meydanı, Plaka, Ermou alışveriş caddesi ve Kolonaki’ye yürüyerek kolayca ulaşabildik. Şehrin en ünlü mağazalarına, restoranlarına ve turistik noktalarına bu kadar yakın olmak büyük bir konfor sağladı. Odalar temiz ve konforluydu, personel ise son derece güler yüzlü, nazik ve yardımseverdi. Atina’yı keşfetmek isteyenler için hem konumu hem de sunduğu deneyim açısından mükemmel bir seçim. Bir sonraki Atina ziyaretimizde yine ilk tercihimiz Astor Hotel olacak. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim!

Rötarlı uçuşumuz sonrası saat gece 1.30 civarı rahatlıkla check in yaptık, buna rağmen resepsiyon oldukça kibardı ve bize oldukça güzel akropolis manzaralı bir oda tahsis etti. Oda genel olarak temizdi. Tesisin konumu oldukça iyi tüm turistik noktalara 1 günümüz olmasına rağmen rahatlıkla yürüyerek ulaştık. Kahvaltı salonunun manzarası gerçekten çok iyi. Hem syntagma meydanı hem de akropolis manzarası nefes kesici. Kahvaltıda çeşit fazla ve çoğu yiyecek lezzetli

בחרנו במלון בגלל חוות דעת והמלצות כאן ובפייסבוק. ניאגרה שבקושי מורידה מים, מקלחון פתוח שכל המים יוצאים ממנו החוצה ושמים לך מראש מגבת רחצה מגולגלת על הרצפה, מזרון מסריח עם טופר מלא בשקעים, רעש מהרחוב (בקומה 5), ארוחת בוקר בסיסית ודלה. וכל זה עוד אחרי ״שדרוג״ מצדם מרצון טוב (הצוות אחלה)
