Reviewed Sep 17, 2026"This is the best hotel in Chur. The rooms feel like a proper hotel, nothing hostel-like about them at all. And the breakfast, with its wonderful variety of cured meats, was simply amazing. We'll definitely be back
Everything was perfect, they even have TV in the rooms! We loved our stay.

However the room was very small and only had a small window at the roof, we couldn't see outside and at night animals were walking at the roof we suspect they were rats and were very noisy. I complained to the reception but did not get much response.

Hotel was hard to locate as the entrance is not on the Main Street where its address is. It is in an alley way behind and lobby is on the second floor. Rooms were modern and clean but very small.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Chur is a small city, and the hotel is in the city center. The location was very good. The breakfast didn't have much variety, but the quality was adequate.
I missed the warning about shared bathrooms. The price difference for a room with a bathroom was very small, and I didn't notice it. However, having only 2 bathrooms for 6 rooms, and almost all the hotel guests waking up at nearly the same time for the Bernina Train, caused queues for the bathrooms. This was very uncomfortable. The breakfast room was small, which prevented a comfortable breakfast experience.

Ho sempre impostato il filtro bagno privato e colazione inclusa. Non so come sono finita in una camera con bagno e doccia nel corridoio e in comune. Non immaginavo che potesse ancora esistere sistemazioni del genere in un hotel in centro a Coira. In più la camera non era minimamente insonorizzata e sono rimasta sveglia tutta la notte per un vicino, forse anche da sotto, che russava. Se come non bastasse tutto ciò, la mattina alle 4,45 si sentiva qualcuno già sveglio da un'altra stanza. Fazit: notte senza chiudere occhio. Devastante per chi deve lavorare l'indomani.

I paid additional fee for the changing of the room. Because, reception told me my reservation is not covered privet bathroom and wc. My reservation had common them. It is not acceptable for me.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026We loved the location of the property as we wanted to be central to the old town and close to the train station. The property was immaculately clean and tidy and we had a wonderful night sleep topped off with a great breakfast served by a friendly and helpful team. The reception staff were so helpful and the bonus of the guest card was great as we visited the cable car plus two museums. We would definitely chose to stay here again and definitely recommend it to others. The view from our room was very beautiful.

The towels are tiny, hairdryer pointless, just a sheet on the bed, one pillow, no kettle (although there was a coffee machine) basic breakfast. We paid to be “upgraded” in our room on arrival as well. Exceptionally overpriced for what it is. Was disappointing. Hotel is clean though and staff friendly and helpful

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Der Frühstücksraum ist leider recht klein, so dass es bei Stosszeiten schwierig war, einen freien Platz zu finden. Das Frühstücksangebot ist ok, aber eher bescheiden, z.B. keine Käseauswahl. Der Fruchtsalat war schon aufgegessen, wurde aber nicht nachgefüllt.

Do espaço de café , muito apertado , bem pequeno., tem uma pia aí lado do buffet separada por uma cordinha, onde a funcionária fica lavando louça do durante o cafe. As opções de café da manhã são bem poucas, o pequeno salão fica lotado e vc precisa sentar com outras pessoas ..Outra coisa que achei muito ruim, chegamos às 14h30, a mulher da recepção disse que só poderíamos ir para o quarto às 15h. Mas que tinha um quarto maior e com ar condicionado que podíamos trocar a reserva e já ter o quarto , por 50 euros a mais . Enfim, da viagem toda, esse foi hotel que menos gostei. Não vale o preço que cobram
