Very nice property in a nice quiet part of town. Easy walk to and from the train station so great if arriving/departing in train. We arrived late but the staff were so helpful and accommodating which was really appreciated. Perfect property for our overnight stay.

The hotel was as described, clean, quiet and near the train station.

While I knew the reception desk was up a flight of stairs it is tough to wrangle suitcases up and down. The only staff member we saw was the person at recetion and while she assisted carrying bags up the stairs we were lucky she was not otherwise engaged at the time. There is an elevator from reception to the rooms but it is very small and can only accommodate two people or one person with a suitcase. The breakfast spread was underwhelming especially compared to the other hotels we stayed at.

Clean and spacious with large bathroom, but sink was in main room, which was different but not an issue. Great location for walking the old town and near lookout at sunset.

Excellent location, right on the edge of old town. The room was very bright and clean. It seemed to be fairly newly updated.

You had to carry luggage up a flight of stairs to check in, but they had a button you could press and they would carry it for you

Das Hotel eignet sich gut, wenn man eine Nacht bleibt. Es gibt nichts, Negatives zu erwähnen, aber es hat auch keinen besonderen Scham!

We felt so relaxed in this hotel in Chur. The room was clean and spacious, close to restaurants and shops. We really appreciated the Guest Card which gave us 50% off the cable car, from the top there are some beautiful hikes. Breakfast was great.

Świetna lokalizacja. Dobrze utrzymany hotel w zabytkowym budynku z niepowtarzalnym klimatem. Pyszne , urozmaicone śniadania kontynentalne. Bardzo miły i uczynny personel.

Okazało się,że w pierwszej dekadzie września przydałaby się klimatyzacja w pokojach. Jest raczej sugestia niż zarzut bo wiedzieliśmy, że są tylko wentylatory.

No coffee in room and we were not told till later we could have free coffee even though we didn’t sign up for breakfast, also soap was not filled for time we were there.

Traditional Swiss hotel, breakfast and staff were really good. Perfect for catching the Bernina Express.

There is no lift from street level so you have to carry bags upstairs, which hotel will help with

We liked the hotel's proximity to the pedestrian shopping zone, theater and restaurants. It was also a short-ish walk to the banhhof.

We had to negotiate stairs with all our luggage, as reception was not on the ground floor.

Great location only 10 mins from Station and in the charming old town of Chur. Rooms looked to have been recently refurbished, clean and modern. Good breakfast buffet with excellent choices. Good food in hotel restaurant too.

Excelente hospedaje, a pesar que solo pasé una noche, está cerca de la estación, restaurantes y lugares de interes. La habitación muy cómoda y el desayuno muy rico y completo. Sin duda alguna, me volvería a hospedar aquí

the receptionist as very nice and helpful, the room was sparse, but gave us the essentials. Loved the lounge area of the hotel. We stayed up late one night and ate our dinner and played a game of cards in the dining room area.

It was sparse, but that was ok because it had the essentials and was the least expensive hotel.

The staff are rude. The historic room is facing a messy, dirty lightwell. The 80’s bathroom needing an upgrade. I have never seen a pillow that size ever. Didn’t sleep at tall.

The location was excellent and the staff very friendly.

The room was the most expensive on our road trip but very basic, however the view from our window was good. Unfortunately the breakfast was pretty poor, not enough available for the amount of people and fairly basic for the price paid. We had far better in much cheaper hotels.

Hôtel magnifiquement bien situé. Personnel accueillant. Les escaliers et le hall d'entrée sont un peu vieillots mais ma chambre était toute belle restaurée. Je m'y suis sentie très bien.

La ubicacion es muy buena ya que esta a pocas cuadras del centro historico.

Es un hotel que ya tiene sus años y me parecio un poco elevado el precio para lo que ofrece.

Stairs to the reception but helpful staff carried my bag in the morning. The lift is small and a bit tricky !

The Comfort room was a decent size with large bed and large fan to help with the temperature at the time. Low shelf with two chairs underneath to use for writing and/or drinking your coffee/tea which is provided plus fruit. Situated on the edge of Old Town so very convenient for wandering around that area. View of mountain from our room. Good sized bathroom for two. Lovely staff, all very helpful. Breakfast very good with cereals, fruit, yoghurts, cheese, meats, egg, choice of breads, croissants, jams.

Whilst it was good to have a fridge in the room it was kept in a very small wardrobe where you could hang a few items of clothing but both the outside of the fridge and inside of the wardrobe became very warm due to the confined space so we did not use it in case it overheated.

Room was small and in poor condition. Exposed rusted pipes on the wall (pics provided). No carpet in corridor (sign outside said it was to be fitted soon) Wet patch and strange hairs on the bed and the hotel were not helpful regarding the problems. Contacted them approximately 15 minutes after check in but by that time they could not move us to another room and after a really long journey we were exhausted. Ended up leaving at 5am to go elsewhere because sleep was impossible. Not at all worth the price paid.

I liked there was a kettle in my room with various teabags. The staff kindly provided a jug of milk and there was a small fridge in the room. There was a large fan which was helpful as it was quite hot during my stay.

There were curtains but no net curtains or blinds for privacy from the apartments directly opposite my room. I had to close the curtains and put the lights on when getting dressed. Also, it was a bit noisy from people smoking outside the restaurant across the road but with window closed it was fine.

This hotel is in a good position if travelling by train as I was. The rooms are comfortable, Natalia was a lovely welcoming hostess.

Very good accommodations, clean and perfectly suited for an overnight stay. Outstanding front desk service during check-in. Extremely convenient self checkout (leaving keys in a drop box), which made our early morning departure to catch the Bernina Express seamless. Excellent location for taking the Bernina Express early the next morning.

Great hotel in perfect location within Chur old town. Secure parking in small garage for motorbikes and cycles. Large well laid out room with new bathroom and hot drink facilities and also onsite laundry facilities which is handy when touring on motorcycles. Staff on reception and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful.

Would benefit from air conditioning in the future but appreciate it’s an old building.

Das Bad hätte noch eine Erneuerung nötig, und die Einrichtung etwas arg karg. Wasserkocher und Tee vorhanden, aber Kaffee fehlt…

This was a quick one night stay, just to get the Bernina Express the next day. It was easy to find and relatively close to the station - maybe 10 minutes walk in a level slight uphill. There was a lovely view of the clock tower and hills from our window. Breakfast was good quality in an impressive looking room.

The room was all wooden panelled and extremely hot and with no air conditioning was unpleasant. The view out the window was poor on to an internal back yard area.
