The meal was slightly undercooked

Staff were friendly and the bed was very confortable

All the colours in the room were a bit too much Also the TV kept stopping, I called reception and when they came it started then went off again so that was disappointing after a long day.

Great location, love the decor.

The room was so lovely and quite spacious. We had a balcony area looking over the Maitai river too. Everything was neat and tidy and really well organized. The bathroom was lovely with both a spa and a shower too.

The TV in the bedroom was only live TV rather than being able to connect to Netflix ect but the main TV was a smart TV.

I didn't know you needed to pre book your car. I had to park out on the street. The water from the shower went all over the floor

Very expensive restaurant onsite and the noise from other people’s showers and bathrooms was really loud in our room which was annoying.

Shower drip when the next door used theirs and the walls are quite thin hear other rooms noises

Bathroom, Bed, TV, USB charging in the lamps, Fancy texture throughout the toilet.

The exhaust fan above the stove wasn't sucking the exhaust air outside; instead, it was pushing the air towards the stove, which at one point we thought might trigger the smoke alarm !!!

Lovely place to stay. Clean, lovely staff and close to shops, restaurants etc.

Spacious clean room. Hotel in a great central location on the river. Restaurant with river views and good wholesome value for money food. All staff encountered brilliant.

My room was at the back. A better view would have been nice.

Amazing hotel...staff are so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely time,the room was excellent clean tidy and the art work is simply stunning everywhere you look or sit was just fantastic. The restaurant meals beautiful..the chefs were so kind and came out and had photos with our basketball team. Everything just complements everything...so much to look at and admire.

Second stay and just as enjoyable as first. Had the river side view with spa shower , absolutely wonderful. The decor of the whole place is groovy. Friendly staff , comfortable and clean rooms. Nothing to much trouble . Will be trying resturant next visit

Great location and meal

The room I had at first had had thin walls, think it was part of connecting rooms. Noisy neighbours , at the end of a long day and week. Was able to easily change to another room. - great staff assistance and help.

Very comfortable bed. Good clean bathroom. Big tv with many channels. Good location, easy walk to shops.

We liked the location, enjoyed walking into town and going to the Saturday market Room was warm and comfortable, view of the river amazing. Restaurant meals amazing and very good service.

Car parking is tough. You need to reserve a park when booking if u can. Street parking available although time limited during the day

I was surprised that the motel was quite quirky which I loved. The shower was amazing. The view from my bedroom was lovely and the staff were very friendly.

Great wee hotel, love the fact so many rooms have spa baths. Great room service and restaurant, with well designed menu.

Staff were excellent a lot of the time, with occasional bouts of average, and a disappointing finale; Checkout was uncomfortably stressful after an unforeseen circumstance meant myself and disabled son were running late. There was pressure applied (inc threats of a significant charge) from reception that I've never encountered before, and it really ruined our day.

Fantastic hotel, we were on our honeymoon traveling through the South Island. The accommodation, staff, and the restaurant were excellent. If we come back any where near Nelson we will be heading to theTides.

Great location, nice ambiance within the restaurant with great food. Lovely big tv in our room that you can actually see.

Hallway noise is very loud, when the cleaners are going in and out of rooms when cleaning. And the bed may need to be revamped as uncomfortable and bulgy
