Our room was very comfortable and clean, close to town and there was a supermarket just a short walk away and the staff were lovely.

Clean, modern, bright, exceptional value & easy level walk to city & super market.

Always a High level of Customer Service, beautifully presented apartments. Excellent location. Clare at reception is wonderful, fast communication and confirmations, flexible, makes you feel very welcome and at home De Lorenzo's studio apartments is my preferred accommodation in Nelson.

We've stayed at Delorenzos several times because I love the location (a few minutes walk into the heart of Nelson), and because the studio units are really well appointed and clean

We booked a studio unit (we're a couple on a special weekend excursion) but, upon arrival, found that we'd been put in a huge 3 bedroom family apartment. One couple doesn't need 2 storeys and 5 beds! I was disappointed because, having stayed there before, I specifically booked the type of unit that we preferred. Had we been staying more than one night, I would have asked to move units. Also, there were long hairs in the bath from the previous visitor and the bedside lamp was unusable due to the wiring being damaged, with electrical tape wrapped around it but not fully covering the exposed copper wires. To be honest, I was really surprised by these negative things as our previous stays have been fantastic. I would still book there again (based on previous stays), but would insist that we were given the type of unit we'd chosen on the booking.

Exceptionally clean room! Really comfortable bed and a selection of pillows to choose. Great location in a quiet area but walkable for restaurants/cafes including top quality dining across the road at The Tides. This was a wonderful place to stay.

Good location, clean and comfortable. I like the pop of colour in the room.

I left my phone charger in the room, but when I phone later in the day, they couldn’t find it. Which is very odd as it was plugged into the wall by the desk. Annoying because they are expensive and I think customers property should be returned to them. No reception after 5pm or before 9am.

Location and views. Rooms are perfect size, love the added use of washing machine and dryer facilities.

If we could have had a reserved car park, we got designated a park and had to park on the road after returning from dinner.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed for a a work trip. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Quality toiletry brand (Antipodes) which was lovely. Tea and coffee supplied were quality too with complimentary biscuits, there was a coffee machine and milk frother. Milk and cold water in the fridge ready to go Bed was comfortable and made for a great sleep even 33 weeks pregnant. Simple comforts done extremely well. Staff were lovely and accomodating too.

De Lorenzo is our go to property in Nelson when low demand means their dynamic pricing gives you a 5-star stay for a 3-star price. The rooms are spacious and have many more features than many higher priced properties.

You need to have completed a 3 year plumbing apprenticeship to operate the shower.

The quality of the fittings in the apartment - Sound proofing, coffee machine and supplies, comfortable bed. It was the best equipped place we've stayed in recently.

Apartment. All was great. I didn't like how the bed was very soft, so i took the top layer off and it was a lot better i'm use to a firm bed. But the room was tidy, clean and i was very happy. It was also really warm for winter time.

Bed was too soft for me. I just took off the top layer and popped it away. This was then fine.

Location, quiet room, comfy bed, Nespresso machine, complimentary cookies, Antipodes products, full-length mirror on back of door much appreciated as it was the only mirror I could use.

For a so-called accessible room there were no cups or glasses I could reach!! They were in the high cupboards. The shower had too many options and the handheld option didn’t work even after reading instructions several times. There was no seat either, so I used one of the patio seats. Bathroom mirror useless for a wheelchair resident, too high. The lockbox was also high and not easy to reach to put in the code. Again, not thought through for a solo wheelchair traveller.

As always a great stay and was warm and a good sleep 😴

Amazing place - we will never stay anywhere else in Nelson from now on! Walking distance from restaurants and city center, washer and drying in the unit, spacious, clean, comfortable, what more could you ask for?

The folding glass doors on the shower were abit of a pain. Water went everywhere.

Unit was clean and tidy. Had everything I needed. Had the best sleep because the bed was so comfortable, very rare for me with back issues. The shower was also amazing with the extra jets. Close location to town.

The DeLorenzo studio was very comfortable. I stayed just one night before a conference the next morning and couldn't fault it. Very comfortable sleep. Nice facilities. Thought how nice it'd be to come back just for some chill out time.

Convenient for town

I thought I booked a twin room, got a double bed. Had to leave to find somewhere to eat, and my friend only came out of hospital at 19.30 hrs Would've been nice to chill and have room service or on site facilities

Amazing area. Plus very easy to get to town which is about a 2 minute walk. The apartment itself was great. It had everything you need for either a short or long term stay. I loved every bit of it and will be back again. 10/10

To be completely honest I couldn’t pick one thing I didn’t like. Maybe that we only had a little bit of milk but other than that everything was perfect and the service was excellent

Super comfy beds. Tidy. Warm. Great location. Great price! We got 2 rooms, an adult and child in each room. Definitely value for money. Close to amenities. Will never stay anywhere else now.

The only issue was the lack of car parking on premise

L’emplacement

L’appartement est très sombre avec une déco très singulier. Il n’y a pas suffisamment de vaisselle: Il manquait des tasses à café, une théière, des serviettes de tables, des sous plats et une marmite. Le ménage était mal fait.

Although the room was compact, it was packed full of everything you could possibly need. It was very warm, beautifully clean, very modern and quiet at night. It was an easy, flat walk to the centre of town with all the resturants and cafes.

We didn't pay for reserved parking and there was no spare parking on site, but there was plenty of on-street parking outside the property so it wasn't a problem. There was also a small mix up with the lockbox, but it was quickly sorted calling the sister hotel reception.

I cant remember the lady on the front desks name but she was amazing, ive never been to nelson and she told me all these amazing spots to go see an she also recommended tide which by the way is amazing as well
