Se notan los esfuerzos por el cuidado del medio ambiente, y mantener impecables las instalaciones, el personal muy amable y servicial, piscinas muy limpias. Es un hotel pequeño, llegas muy rápido a todos lados y para gente que no puede caminar mucho o no le gusta es una excelente virtud, además de jardines con fauna local y muy bien cuidados.

Pool bar bartender ignoring non-spanish speaking patrons. Waited 30 minutes for drinks. He was busy but obviously ignored us.this occured our first day and we stopped going to the swim up bar. Went else where for drinks and brought to pool.

We love the area! Puerto Aventuras is beautiful. Love the people and that it is within walking distance to the marina. Staff is wonderful. They are very attentive and helpful.

Drinks are not good. Food is below average to horrible. Cafe and the smoothie bar were not open at all during our stay. Constant bothering us about their club stuff and spa. We did get a massage and used the hydrotherapy circuit. Spa is very dated, some aspects did not work, no hot tub, no cold plunge as described to us.

This is a great little resort, away from Cancun. It takes a bit to get there, but is a nice quiet place to stay and relax. The little town with a marina in the middle gives a nice place to explore, They have a dolphin place there and plenty of deep sea fishing boats for hire. The resort itself is a little older, but very well kept. Room was in great shape, food was good with lots of variety. Small beach area with from shore snorkeling.

Need to keep a pool open longer into the evening, they all seemed shut down not long after sunset. Some kind of fans in the buffet dinning area, when there was no sea breeze, it got very uncomfortable, couple fans would have gone a long way.

Good value for the money. We appreciated the shows even though we didn’t go see them. The effort was impressive.

Nobody knows how to make a café latte, no fan in the bathroom, the beach was way too narrow, the buffet was a little bit repetitive, check-in at 3 pm when we arrived at 10 am was crazy esp when I know there were rooms ready, no shuttle from airport.

Sus Cantineros son unos trabajadores amargados que no atendían bien ni a Extranjeros, ni a Mexicanos ni a nadie. Absolutamente patético el servicio que brindan. Desde que abren los bares hasta que cierran, se les nota amargados, cansados de lo que hacen. Me imagino que ni su Gerente ha podido manejar esa actitud que traen. Y las bebidas 0/10. No sé si sean los productos que les compran o simplemente la actitud con la que las hacen que trasladan toda esa frustración hacia lo que hacen. Por otro lado, la limpieza de la alberca principal frente al snack bar, deja mucho que desear. Muy sucia. Prefería estar en la del lado Yucatán que la mantenían más limpia.

Las instalaciones están muy bien. Hicimos Snorkel y fue todo un éxito. Aunque la playa no es la mejor para bañarse. La alimentación es buena. En fin... La pasamos muy bien.

Tuvimos problemas con el minibar ya que no enfriaba lo suficiente, lo reportamos y nos dieron otro un poquito mejor.

Falto la variedad de las comidas

Las habitaciones amplias, el baño limpio y bonito, se ve que han renovado el hotel. Las albercas son un poco pequeñas a comparación de otros hoteles pero me parece que se dan a basto. La atención de todo el personal fue muy muy buena. Buena atención del área de bar de las albercas. Fuimos una noche al show y estuvo bien. El área de entretenimiento es muy buena, realizan actividades en las albercas para adultos y niños. y hay otras actividades como bingo. Tienen un puesto de crepas, muy buenas las dulces, no tanto las saladas. Tienen un área de bar El Abuelo, es muy cómodo y agradable para sentarse a platicar en la nochecita La comida del restaurante japonés estuvo bien. Los precios de la boutique estuvieron acordes a los productos, nada excesivo. La comida, variedad y calidad, es superior en el restaurante El Mercado que en La Brisa, en ambos es bueno, pero en El Mercado es mejor. El restaurante La Brisa es más agradable, ventilado y cómodo.

En el restaurante de carnes, esperamos más de una hora por nuestros platillos. Me parece que hubo algún problema en cocina y por eso se atrasaron, ya que todos en el restaurante esperamos. Fue el único detalle que no me agradó, sin embargo, la comida estuvo muy buena. En el restaurante de tepanyaki la comida estuvo bien, sin embargo, creo que al chef le falta experiencia en lo que specta al performance del tepanyaki. El restaurante El Mercado no tiene buen aire acondicionado, solo se siente en la sección central, pero si te asignan mesa en los pasillos se siente muchisimo calor y es incómodo. El hotel y la ubicación en la playa

La atención de unos camareros ,en algunos restaurantes hay que ir con reserva.No pudimos ir a varios porque ya estaba lleno en toda la semana.

Mi calificación sería un cero (0) si no fuera por la limpieza de la habitación y por el buen servicio, calidez y hospitalidad de personas como: Luz, de Recepción e Irma la Gerente que estaba en turno cuando expuse una queja.

El servicio de sus Cantineros en las albercas es terrible, nada de hospitalidad, en especial José (no sé si siempre está en la discoteca o solo 1 de las noches que fui). Se nota que no disfrutan su trabajo, y ni siquiera había mucha gente como para justificar que tenían mucha carga de trabajo, simplemente estan por estar y esto, si no lo atienden a tiempo, reducirá mucho más las recomendaciones o personas que quieran volver a visitar Catalonia. Las bebidas tal vez no sean los ingredientes que usan sino justamente estos mal encarados que las preparan súper mal. He estado en hoteles de similar categoría-precio y las bebidas y el servicio de los Bartenders no se compara. Trabajen en ello. Celebraba mi cumpleaños, lo avisé desde antes de la llegada, lo reforcé con el Guest Service para colocar alguna banda o alguna simple amenidad en la cena y CERO, nada se hizo, en Restaurantes NADIE preguntó si celebrábamos algo, normalmente en Restaurantes y Hoteles te preguntan esto no sé si por estandar, pero aquí No existió esa pregunta en ningún momento. La atención a los detalles es algo que tomamos en cuenta los viajeros frecuentes, pero en este lugar de verdad mucho que desear. Solo la Srta. Luz y la Srta. Irma fueron amables, con sentido de hospitalidad y por lo menos el último día de mi estancia colocaron la banda de cumpleaños, aunque ya había sido el día anterior, pero la colocaron. No minimicen nunca las celebraciones de sus huéspedes.

¡Todo! Fue una experiencia muy agradable en todos sentidos. La comida, las habitaciones, instalaciones y sobre todo el personal, que de verdad tienen un trato increíblemente atento con quien sea que fuera el húesped que atendieran y eso fue en todo momento.

Sehr gutes Essen mit Ausnahme von schlechten Muscheln, die mich einen Tag Zwangsdiät gekostet haben. Sehr gut: überwiegend Restaurants mit Bedienung. Schöne Pool Anlagen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Tolle Wasser Rutsche. Viel Natur um die Anlage herum. Anlage gut für Urlauber die sich wenig bewegen wollen.

Sehr eingeschränkte Sportmöglichkeiten. Mini Platz für Joga auf Beton auf Handtüchern ohne Matten. Sehr kleine Gym. Sehr wenig Sport Stunden Angebot, und teilweise nur ganz früh am Morgen. Kein Pool zum Schwimmen. Für Urlauber, die keinen Alkohol trinken ist der Urlaub ein schlechtes Geschäft, und man fühlt sich oft deplatziert da sich bei sehr vielen Urlaubern der Urlaub um Alkohol dreht. Ehrlicherweise muss ich sagen, dass wir in dem Hotel auch nur aufgrund einer Schulabschluss Fahrt gebucht haben.

La propreté générale de l'établissement. La gentillesse et la disponibilité de l'équipe de ménage et du service de restauration.

L'accueil quelque peu froid à la réception. L'abord à des fins commerciales de "l'équipe faite pour ça". Le manque de personnel qui parle français quand ça l'arrange.

Le confort de la literie, le petit déjeuner et les repas assez variés.

L'hôtel est situé dans un complexe hôtelier et résidentiel. A éviter à cette période de l'année car les plages étaient envahies de sargasses et l'odeur de leur décomposition était tout bonnement horrible !

Możliwość skorzystania ze spa. Codziennie przedstawienia w hotelowym teatrze na bardzo wysokim poziomie.Mnóstwo zieleni na terenie hotelu - można poczuć się jak w ogrodzie. No i palmy kokosowe na plaży. Aguti i iguany na terenie hotelu stanowiły dodatkowa atrakcję 😉

Niestety w połowie maja było już sporo widorostów i ich zapach był wyczuwalny, pomimo codziennego usuwania.

No es que no me haya gustado pero seria bueno que indiquen cual es la amenidad de cumpleaños, puesto que creo que no la recibi, o si es la decoracion de la puerta entonces si la tuve. Pero fuera de eso todo magnifico.

Bien por el precio

La chica del kids club, Sol, absolutamente terrible. Pésima actitud prepotente, intentamos dejar a los niños en tres ocasiones y no los quiso recibir, argumentamos que nosotros los vigilaremos en la puerta (niños de 6 y 3) y ella muy prepotente dijo que no. También, notamos que golpeaba a los niños pequeños con pelotas con fuerza de adulto y se reía. El tiempo que estuvimos ahí, notamos que dejaba a los niños solos por un período considerable de tiempo, alerta roja para esa señorita.

La habitación era cómoda y los restaurantes de buffet son amplios, por lo que no hay que esperar mucho para que se te asigne una mesa. El personal amable y muy buena atención en la recepción al realizar el Checkin, sobretodo del gerente.

Pedimos room service a través de la página, supuestamente se había recibido el pedido y me marcaba una hora de entrega, señalando que estaba "en preparación"; sin embargo, el pedido no llego nunca. Llamé al número de room service y me dijeron que no habían recibido el pedido haciendo parecer o dando a entender que no lo hubiera hecho, como dudando de mi persona, por lo que les dí el número de orden que me aparecía en la página y así, al ver qué sí había realizado la orden, me dijeron que podrían pasarlo a la cocina. Por el tiempo transcurrido, pedí que lo cancelaran pero no recibí ni siquiera una disculpa del personal. Creo que si no están coordinadas las áreas mejor deberían eliminar la opción de pedir a través de la página. Por otro lado, los buffets tienen opciones limitadas de alimentos. Creo que podrían variar un poco. La playa, como ya es costumbre en el caribe, para estás épocas está completamente llena de sargazo, por lo que es inaccesible; para tenerlo en cuenta si es que buscan un hospedaje que tenga acceso al mar, ya que no podrán ingresar al mismo. Ello genera que las piscinas estén un poco más llenas de gente.

I liked the bracelets to open your room instead of key cards. I also liked the steak dinner.

My daughter bought her reservation on booking including 2 minores 12 and 8. Both were clearly stated on the reservation at check in they told her she had to pay for the 2 minora because it should up as 2 minors of age 6. It was a waste of about 1 1/2 hrs being on the phone with booking and the reception. Also I drank about 10 drinks and was not tipsy which leaves me to think that the alcohol is watered down. It is a beach front property and they don't bother to do anything with their sargasm.

Que la reserva que nos hicieron para la segunda noche en el restaurante Mexicano no la respetaron y al llegar al restaurante nos hicieron sentir mal al decir que debíamos esperar hasta que se resolviera, vieran quien realizó la reserva hablar con esa persona y ver si tenían después espacio.

Hôtel de qualité dans puerto aventuras. Personnel accueillant et extrêmement gentil. Tout est très propre. Le choix de nourriture est varié avec énormément de saveurs et de qualité. Une très belle expérience. Je recommande fortement.

The positive points are the Buffet La Brisa and Steakhouse restaurants, as well as the poolside bars and entertainment.

Areas for improvement include the Italian restaurant (I think because it shares a kitchen with the Mexican restaurant, all the food tasted Mexican and not Italian), better preparation of the hamburger restaurant in case of rain, lack of information about the closure of the BLoved restaurant on the day I had planned, the minibar that stopped working and wasn't fixed even after I informed reception, and especially the terrible conditions of the complimentary bathroom (which I had to insist a lot to get cleaned before I used it).

Wir hatten ein relativ neues Zimmer- sehr schön, Essen war zwar monoton- aber sehr viel Auswahl und sehr lecker. Es sah alles sehr hygienisch aus und auf Allergien wurde streng geachtet. Wirklich super. Entertainment am Pool war super.

Der Strand ist leider eine 0. Schnorchelspot ist schrecklich. Für den Strand sind wir täglich rausgefahren.

Las instalaciones

Mit einem Privilege Zimmer oder als Mitglied des Executive Clubs hatte man Zugang zu exklusiven Bereichen am Strand, einem Extra Pool sowie einem à la carte Restaurant. Dies hat uns sehr gut gefallen, um dem sonstigen Trubel entgehen zu können.

Der Strand ist leider nicht besonders groß und nicht besonders malerisch. Leider haben neben der Anlage auch Bauarbeiten stattgefunden, die den ganzen Tag über extrem laut waren.

Everything was very clean, the staff were very helpful , there are plenty of activities, and the shows were great. The buffet offerings and specialty restaurants were very good. There is a protected snorkeling area right in front of the resort but bring water shoes because the shore is rocky. Walking around the gated community of Puerto Aventura - outside the resort - is very safe. The marina area is worth visiting with shops, restaurants and the Dolphin Discovery.

We hope that the next time we visit there will be pickleball court lines on the tennis court!

Tolle Lage… super sauber… gefühlt 200 Leute, die dort arbeiten und nur dafür zuständig sind, es den Gästen „schön“ zu machen. Besonders Marcos im Service (Hauptrestaurant), Angeles am Frühstücksbuffet und Ignacio beim Tacos-Grill haben uns den Aufenthalt extrem versüßt.

Einziger Kritikpunkt wären die AI-Gäste aus Nordamerika, die die Poollandschaft ordentlich einnehmen und die Bars unterunterbrochen auf Trapp halten… aber dafür kann ja das Hotel per se Nix

Beaucoup de personnel peu agréable (sauf ménage et quelques serveurs) La plage privilège inutilisable compte tenu des travaux juste à côté. L’autre plage était envahie de sargasses… Donc des odeurs de décomposition et d’égouts… Les boissons des bars beaucoup trop sucrées sauf la bière. Ne pas pouvoir mettre ses valises dans la voiture sans quitter définitivement l’hôtel : Check out autorisé jusqu’à 15h mais la chambre doit être rendue à 14h. Le prix affiché par booking n’est pas respecté ! J’ai réservé la chambre à un prix en euros qui s’est transformé sur place en dollars US et j’ai donc eu 100€ de frais bancaires pour paiement à l’étranger ! Ce n’est pas honnête…

El trato de personal administrativo, nos robaron desde la habitación y nadie nos dio solución ni respuesta sobre ello, nos quedamos con l sensación de inseguridad. Intentaron de todas formas vendernos una membresía y nos quitaron tiempo en eso. Perdimos dinero de un tour que ya habíamos pagado y ofrecieron ofertas y mejores valores que nunca hicieron. La limpieza de la habitación muchos días no la hicieron.

Beaucoup d’américains qui se croient tout permis et seuls, enceinte à fond, ils hurlent y compris tard dans les couloirs et chambres. Transats réservés dès le matin 6/7h alors que c’est interdit et que les personnes se pointent qu’en fin d’après midi voir pas. Inadmissible. Ils devraient mettre en place une politique plus stricte pour cela. Plage envahie par les sargasses malheureusement (comme beaucoup d’hôtels sur la côte)

Staff were fantastic. They were always helpful with already smile. Loved the rain-shower head in the bath. The spa was good, just needs a jacuzzi to make it great. Lots of wildlife to see wandering the grounds. Its located in a safe gated community, so was nice to ge able to take a stroll off of resort too.

I felt I was mislead when reserving through booking.com because the "all inclusive" is only for the buffet, plus a maximum of 4 a la cart reservation meals (1 per restaurant). The swimming pools were smaller than shown in photos and the drinks were made with cheap mixes. The rooms have no clocks and no outlets to plug in basic items like phones and tablets. We had a room with 2 queen beds but only a single chair to sit in. By the tv there was a weird board leaning against the wall with a plug that didn't work. Its a shame because the staff work so hard, but the lack of room amenities are a disservice to the brand.

The beach is wonderful and the jungle setting is amazing ! The buildings are lovely . Food and staff in the main restaurants and throughout hotel were delightful!!! Love this resort . However

We have visited this resort many times since 2005 , however this time we dined at twice at the small upgrade only beachside special which restaurant a negative experience for us both times that we gave it a chance. The staff lacked warmth so evident throughout the rest of the resort ! Ironic really. Our meals were disappointing and the wait overlong…

Lots of spots to eat with a good selection of food. I liked the options for water and lounging spots.

I did not like that the rule "no reserving loungers" was not enforced. I did not like the constant pressure and invitations to listen to the exclusive program upsell pitch.

La ubicación es buena, pero las tumbonas de la zona de playa no están a pie de playa, tienes la playa enfrente pero para entrar al agua tienes que ir a la derecha o a la izquierda, ya que está en una zona alzada. Por otro lado, Viviana, que nos ayudó a la entrada al hotel muy bien, igual que Sol del club infantil, mis hijos estaban encantados con ella.

El personal de restauración bastante maleducados, sobretodo los del buffet brisa del desayuno, traían el café con muy mala gana y casi sin mirarte a la cara, además tardaba mucho. En una ocasión dijimos con mucha educación que por favor nos sirvieran el café que tendíamos que ir a trabajar y llevábamos prisa, y su respuesta fue: pues otro día baje antes( de muy malas maneras)

La mitad del personal es hostil y hasta grosero, la otra mitad amable.Fueron muchas situaciones desde que no hicieron la limpieza de la haboitackión solo las camas, el olor en el balcón a veces era insoportable porque la basura que sacan está a aun lado. la atencion en recepcion es DE MIEDO terrible. las crepas y los jugos son los peores que he probado en mi vida.. un pár de comidas estaban ligeramente echadas a perder

Las albercas en muy buen estado, las habitaciones comodas, recien remodeladas, me encanto el servicio de los restaurantes en especial el BELOVED, la chica que atiende TERE es super cordial, en general todos los restaurantes 10/10 . restaurante japones y el de cortes de carte muy buena experiencia. Recomiendo ampliamente los jugos frescos que ofrecen. En general la atención es muy buena.
