Der Dschungel an sich und der Aufbau der Anlage war schön. Frühstück war vielfältig. Das Thai Retsaurant.

Bei regen ist der Pool komplett gesperrt wegen der Elektronik. Der Kids Club ist super aufgeräumt und das soll wohl auch so bleiben. Für die Kids wird Movie Time geboten. Man darf währenddessen nicht malen oder irgendwelche anderen Dinge nutzen. Ein KidsClub zum anschauen, nicht zum benutzen. Sind nach 3 Minuten wieder raus. Dann gibt es noch eknen Gamesroom. In dem regnet es rein, riecht komisch und besteht aus einer Tischtennisplatte, zwei Billiardtischen und super veralteten abgenutzen Brett und Kartenspielen. Touren durch das Resort gibt es Freitags nur gegen Bezahlung von 150 MYR und müssen vorab gebucht werden. Betten super unbequem. Hotline für den Transport im Hotel unter 1 und 0 sehr oft belegt. Oder evtl. Wurde der Hörer versehentlich daneben gelegt... Somit darf man dann zu Fuß gehen. Speißen im Boathouse ohne Gescbmack bei europäischen Preisen. Pizza hat komplett nach nichts geschmeckt.

The rooms, exterior and interior need repairs and updates. The bed was hard as a rock, we had two chalets and both mattresses were hard and uncomfortable.

We had such a wonderful experience at Berjaya Resort, made even more special by the amazing live band, Eky and Natasha! 🎶❤️ They sang so many beautiful songs for us and created such a warm, happy atmosphere. What touched us most was how genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming they were. Such lovely Malaysian people who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Концепция отеля предлагает как жизнь в горах в чаще леса, так и бунгало на воде, и это совершенно разные ощущения, кто что любит) По территории курсируют электрокары, которые развозят гостей с рецепшена и ресторанов до бунгало и наоборот. На территории отеля живут очаровательные очковые лангуры, которые вызывают лишь умиление, но) закрывать номера стоит обязательно, особенно тем, кто живут в лесных бунгало) Много птиц. За время нашего пребывания мы видели на территории и с балкона: лангуров, несколько видов красивых птиц, много рыб, дельфинов и морских выдр! Локация идеальна для посещения знаменитых канатной дороги и небесного моста, пешком из отеля за 10 минут. Номер: у нас был Люкс Премьер на воде, о! это блаженство! Начиная с того, как был украшен наш номер в момент заселения с приветственными фруктами, конфетами, кашемировым палантином и прочими подарочками! В номере все необходимое и даже больше, в том числе гладильная доска с утюгом и бомбочки для джакузи! Очень продуманная логистика номера — закрывалось все, что нужно было и были открытые зоны для получения экстаза от видов и запахов окружающей природы! Удобная кровать, белье менялось не раз. Уборка качественная! В холодильнике набор комплиментарного бара, с чипсами, орешками, пивом, газировкой, который каждый день восполнялся бесплатно. Воды приносят достаточно каждый день, всегда оставалась. В нашей категории номеров был ежедневный вечерний сервис — когда набирали пенное джакузи, украшали все лепестками роз и расставляли свечи, ну кайф!) И виды из номера на море, острова, берег, птиц и дельфинов … непередаваемо) Еда: мы брали завтраки и ужины в главном ресторане по системе шведский стол, выбор и утром и вечером удивлял! Еды столько много и она вкусная! Реально на любой вкус. Был один нюанс у нас с ужином, но, о нем ниже.

А теперь нюансы: продолжение про Марию) Она стала спасением для нас и спасением отеля от нашего гнева!) С людьми, которые посетили 50 стран мира и невероятное количество отелей 5 звезд, впервые случилось следующее: наш прямой рейс вылетал из ташкента 23 августа, и мы не видели, что самолет на лангкави прилетает 24 августа, поэтому забронировали отель через букинг с 23 числа. Отель сразу снял всю сумму при бронировании. И 19 августа я увидела в билетах, что мы прилетаем 24! Я сразу написала в отель через чат связи в букинг, объяснила ситуацию, что мы ошибочно выбрали дату заселения 23, но мы прилетаем 24! С нашей стороны мы, естественно не просили никаких денежных компенсаций), просто предложили в любом случае отелю продать наш номер с 23 на 24 число, и если это возможно, оставить нас в этом номере на все время проживания (т.к. при бронировании, в середине срока проживания, наш номер был в стопе и на сутки мы забронировали другой номер). Но, мы предупредили заранее об ошибке в бронировании и сказали, что мы приедем! С 19 числа нам из отеля не ответил никто, просто проигнорировали букинг и сообщения через букинг. А когда мы приземлились на лангкави, нам пришло сообщение, что ваше бронирование отменено и очень неприятная отписка — вы неявились в день заселения, поэтому, по правилам отеля идите подальше, наличие номеров уточняйте на рецепшн. Сказать, что мы были в шоке от такого хамского отношения отдела бронирования — не сказать ничего! Какое счастье для отеля, что сразу на рецепшн нам попалась Мария! Мы ей все рассказали, она сразу пошла решать вопрос, оперативно его решила, принесла огромные извинения за сложившуюся ситуацию, оставила нас в том же номере на все время проживания и стала для нас настоящим ангелом-хранителем на все время пребывания. Вторая ситуация — однажды на ужине в главном ресторане мы отравились, думаем, что охлажденными мидиями (ну это всегда риск). Опять же, Мария все время уточняла как наше самочувствие, предложила отвезти нас в клинику отеля.

Fijne bungalow, zagen ook aapjes dus dat was super leuk. Uitgebreid ontbijt Restaurant aan de pier was heel lekker en leuk! Voor kinderen ook erg leuk. Loop afstand van de skybridge.

Het is wel een beetje gedateerd en slecht onderhouden. Als ze het strand deden schoonhouden, dat was het al meer idyllisch. Hotel er naast had dat wel en daar zag het strand er super wit uit. Als je voor hetzelfde geld in Hilton ernaast zou kunnen zitten, zou ik dat zeker doen.

Een heerlijk mooi resort met alle nodige comfort, vriendelijk personeel, vlak aan een mooi strand. Het ontbijt is heel divers en uitgebreid. shuttle busjes zijn snel en 24/24 dus je hoeft nooit te stappen in de warmte.

De restaurants in het resort zijn nogal prijzig in vergelijking met die erbuiten. Met kinderen mag je niet in een kamer aan het water logeren, dat was jammer.

Some of the decor and buildings are beginning to get a little tired (which must be very hard to keep on top of in this rainforest environment). However this didn’t take from the holiday - everything still worked.

From beginning to an abrupt end it was a poor experience. Dirty and dusty reception area, cockroach infested room Terrible front desk, just a laissez faire attitude where they didn’t really care Eventually when I checked out early despite having paid for two nights in advance, left after just one night. They pretended like they wanted to help. Poor quality, poor service all around.

Rooms tired and need some renovation Compared to another exclusive resort on Langkawi, we found this resort around 25% too expensive.

A good resort overall, food nice, chalet fine, beach pleasant area for swimming, walking around the site through the jungle an interesting experience. Staff friendly and attentive.

Terribly slow check in process when a lot of the paperwork could have been preprepared and ready to sign. Quite a lot of rubbish bits in the foliage between the chalets. Recliners on the beach soon gone to early birds, therefore more needed. Could do with a few more options of wine by the glass.

Breakfast buffet was excellent!

1. Old and dated, most people here had same complaints. Hotel refuses any refunds. 2. Property is in a rainforest so you will be fighting lizards in your bed atleast 3 times a day. If u hate lizards this aing for you 3. Most people didnt like the hotel and no AC inmost areas and buggys to get to lobby takes ages 4. No kids entertainment or suitable activities 5. Most people advised booking elsewhere in the future 6. Senior managers have terrible attitude towards people however team leaders and juniors have nice attitude 7. They do utmost not to refund anything to anyone 8. Only 1 person Mr Jamal and his staff were great. Shuttle staff great just apperently “senior managment” are horrible and unreasonable in resolving issues. 9. Heavily advertise monkeys- didnt see any in 5 days Final summary would be pay abit more and go elsewhere

The pool! And noisy pool full of kids, with inside pool bar, a fake waterfall and a small bridge: it looks like a cheap all-inclusive hotel from the year 2000…. Didn’t put one out in it. Please create a design simple rectangle pool with quality material and sea view. (And keep the old one for the kids and family) The beach could have been better arrange. (Old seabeds, no personal for towels and service. This place need a global refreshment

Magical location in the middle of the rainforest, next to the beach. Good variety of restaurants. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

I starten var det som om vi ikke var velkommen på hotellet, hvor de blev ved med at snakke nedladende. Det var lige meget om vi spurgte om reservation til mad, eller om vi prøvede ag booke vores gratis 60 min massage .. vi blev nærmest skældt ud for at spørge om de basic ting, som ikke er basic for os da alt er nyt fra de første 30 min af opholdet. Snakkede med deres manager så kom de alle på rette spor .. Der var masser af mad muligheder dog ikke vores kop the. Kun pasta ret hos beach restaurant!

The view and surrounding

De ligging was prachtig, het resort heel ruim en mooi. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en er was genoeg keuze voor iedereen.

De prijs kwaliteit verhouding vonden wij niet helemaal passend. We moesten elke dag zelf bellen voor nieuwe handdoeken. Het Thaise restaurant is prachtig, de andere restaurants zijn wat chaotisch. We hebben lang moeten wachten en ik heb zelfs een keer niet gare spaghetti ontvangen. Het personeel doet hun best, echter kan het nog veel beter.

Entre mer et jungle, un resort très étendu. Nous avions une chambre avec vue mer très agréable (1250). On peut profiter de la piscine et de la plage. Ne ratez pas le « Nature walk » très instructif sur la faune et la flore. Très bon restaurant thaï sur la jetée.

Mobilier de la chambre un peu vieillot. Les trajets en buggy pour se déplacer dans l’hôtel sont pratiques mais on attends parfois longtemps. Si vous voulez petit-déjeuner au calme allez à la Beach brasserie.

De locatie is geweldig. Wij kregen een upgrade naar een appartement aan de zee en dat was echt fantastisch. Het resort is schitterend gesitueerd tegen een helling en aan de zee. Doordat je middenin de natuur zit, kan je genieten van alle flora en fauna. Het privé strand is erg mooi aangelegd en de golfkarretjes brengen je van en naar alle faciliteiten.

Het resort heeft meer dan 400 appartementen. Dat merk je met name tijdens het ontbijt en bij het zwembad. Het kan soms erg druk zijn. Daarnaast zijn de huisjes toch wel wat gedateerd.

The beach, beach bar and brasserie and the Thai restaurant

It is all quite old and in need of a renovation. There is a lot of height difference on the resort, which does not make it very suitable if youre travelling with a baby.

Prachtig park in mooie omgeving en luxe uitstraling. Mooi huisje (familiehuisje, jungle-kant), wat schoon en netjes was. Lekkere attenties lagen er klaar en je hoeft maar te bellen of het busje pikt je op om je naar de lobby, spa of wat dan ook te brengen. Gluten-vrij ontbijt is goed geregeld. Kok wordt geroepen en die brengt je waar je zin in hebt. Dat was heel fijn. Strandje is rustig en mooi en de SPA is ook een aanrader.

Bed lag niet super lekker en er was duidelijk een personeelstekort in het Dayang restaurant. Lieve en vriendelijke mensen maar op verschillende momenten leken ze het te druk te hebben en moesten we lang wachten. Bij het zwembad konden we geen ligbedje krijgen omdat het overvol was. Fitness-apparaten en ruimte aan vervanging/refresh toe.

Ik zou hier 100% weer terugkomen. De ligging is fantastisch, deels midden in het oerwoud en deels aan het strand. Ik heb hier twee soorten apen, eekhoorns, neushoornvogels, vliegende lemuren en heel veel vlinders gezien. 7 minuten wandelen van de Skycab. Verder beschikt het over alle voorzieningen / services die je nodig kan hebben in je vakantie

Piękna lokalizacja, duża plaża prywatna, rozdawane owoce i lody w trakcie dnia. Dużo zwierząt które można obserwować. Śniadania bardzo bogate, lepiej niż na zdjęciach moim zdaniem. Domki rainforest super.

Po przylocie poszliśmy to chińskiej restauracji na obiekcie, oriental nazwa coś takiego. Jedzenie nie dobre i strasznie drogo. Lepiej jeść przy basenie.

Waanzinnig mooi resort. Uitkijken voor de apen, maar voor de rest perfect. Ontbijt is waanzinnig uitgebreid, vooral de rotistation is een tip. Restaurants zijn betaalbaar en goed, vooral de Beach Brasserie. Het Thaise restaurant ligt op de bekende pier, maar vonden wij iets minder. Zwembaden zijn prima, misschien iets te weinig bedjes. Strand is prachtig, bedjes genoeg. Er zijn wat kleine puntjes, maar desondanks een topscore hier voor lokatie, voorzieningen en helemaal voor het personeel.

Er zijn wat puntjes m.b.t. onderhoud, maar da's niet storend. Het resort is enorm, kan mij voorstellen dat je soms achter de feiten aanloopt. Daarnaast teveel Europeanen die handdoekje leggen. Kunnen we als Europeanen dat gedrag even thuislaten in de bekende resorts in Marbella en Gran Canaria?

Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderbar im Dschungel angeordnet. Man konnte jeden Tag Tiere beobachten. Der Service war sensationell und auch das Essen war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Das Meer ist für Asien-Verhältnisse ok aber nicht glasklar. Das hat aber nicht gestört, da das Meer sehr warm war und man auch Wasseraktivitäten (zB Jetski) direkt am Strand buchen konnte. Die Bewertungen vom teuren Essen kann ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Natürlich war es im Hotel teurer als in den Restaurants und Food-Markets auf Langkawi selbst aber es war trotzdem ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Room could need a bit of TLC and although breakfast and all food decent - still gives a feel that it taps mainly on the captive audience of the resort guests. Bit mismatch between price and quality.

The accommodation was amazing! The room was very spacious and the view was beautiful. The location of the resort was perfect.

Food service was a bit slow even when it wasn't crowded, but the food was good.

The views and the sea.

Staff were rude and unhappy. Room was dirty and need updating. Buggy service didn’t turn up so ended up walking. Staff priorities customers depending on ethnicity. Room was not cleaned because sign fell off, instead of asking they left a note to say the sign fell off. Price was very expensive, we came from the royal park hotel which was fantastic and we had a 5star experience so this was a huge let down considering the price was significantly more. Even the shampoo and conditioner was poor quality. Breakfast was good but staff were rude especially the lady making the roti. No member of staff cares once they have taken your money.

The location was perfect and the private beach was one of the best on the island. The staff all were super helpful and nice. The buggy for transportation within the resort was also very helpful as the distances are noticeable for frequent walks. The breakfast had enormous choice including all fresh fruits, juices and Western, Chinese, Malay, Indian, etc. cuisines that also included rich choice of cooking stations for eggs, noodles, wafers, chapati, etc. The premises have several restaurants that were all very nice and delicious - do not trust the reviews on the maps, they are great! The beach, the beach bar, pool and spa were also very nice, clean and provided great service! The sky nest attraction is just a walk away. What was the best experience is that the entire resort is very well embedded into the forest from one side and the sea on the other one with all their beauty of flora and fauna but at the same time clean and safe. Big and covered parking was also very convenient as well as on-site convenience shop. Rooms were spacious and had all the amenities needed, also very clean and with a great bed to rest. Only the nature's noise. Definitely would recommend and come back!

Fitstly, amazing staff, housekeepers were so attentive and Mimi at the breakfast buffet making the roti was an absolute gem. Beautiful location in the rainforest right beside the ocean, not too far from airport. Great food, nice pool and beach facilities, all makes for a super relaxing atmosphere. Lots of cool wildlife to see around the resort too. Would absolutely return here.

I can't fault anything here to be honest, they've knocked it out the park.

We messed up the booking but the front desk staff at the resort really helped us at the last moment. it was late night checkin and I was with my family but they made us feel comfortable and sorted our booking. Room was amazing. We chose the water villa. It was spacious and on the 3rd day it rained so was worth the penny. The activities were good as well. We did jet skiing. Property is very close to the Langkawi sky cart. Staff at the property are very friendly and always ready to help. Food was decent as well. The Thai restaurant had an amazing setting and even better food.

Breakfast area is small compared to the number of people it can accommodate. So it gets crowded very quickly.

Il resort è bellissimo. La nostra stanza nella rainforest aveva una vista sul mare pazzesca! Ci hanno ben due volte sorpreso: la prima al nostro arrivo augurandoci una felice luna di miele e la seconda in occasione del mio compleanno! Lo consiglio a chi cerca un'esperienza in contatto con la fauna e la flora del posto. La colazione è abbondante e variegata dalla cucina indiana, passando per quella malese, cinese e internazionale con pasti preparati anche sul momento. Anche la presenza di più ristoranti ti permette di poter variare durante la permanenza. Dalle 15 alle 17 offrono anche un afternoon snack molto apprezzato e il minibar viene continuamente rifornito. La sera c'è musica dal vivo e i cantanti sono molto simpatici e bravi!

La cura del dettaglio manca in alcune circostanze soprattutto per quanto riguarda la struttura in sé e anche per il mancato rifornimento di gel doccia e amenities. Abbiamo dovuto richiedere noi del gel doccia in reception! Lo shuttle molto spesso ci metteva tempo per arrivare e a volte optavamo per spostarci a piedi (passeggiata comunque molto piacevole da fare). Infine, il personale del bar sulla spiaggia non è molto attento e se non chiedi tu di poter ordinare difficilmente verranno da te.

Localização com praia privada e muito bem inserido na floresta. Muito atenciosos com as crianças com varias ofertas e comodidades no quarto (incluindo uma banheira de bebé!). Comida dos restaurantes muito boa e com preços aceitáveis. Snacks junto a piscina gratuitos - achei muito simpático! Quarto muito espaçoso e com vista sobre o mar incrivel. Recomendo muito o restaurante tailandês ao por so sol - inesquecível!

Our chalet by the sea was literally in the sea and it was spacious, bright and comfortable for 3 of us with the huge double bed and a big sofa bed/ chaise lounge. The bathroom was very big including double sinks, a shower compartment and bath tub. The fridge was restocked daily with complimentary soft drinks and 2 cans of beer, chips and peanuts. But best of all were the stunning view of the sea from our balcony, the sound of sea waves, the friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout the stay, the restaurants in the resort and the close proximity to the SkyCab, Sky Bridge and Oriental Village. This is our second stay at Berjaya Resort and we want to stay there again.

Nothing we can think of.

I think the property is beautiful with great staff. Great pool staff as well where we spent majority of our time. Binod and team were attentive. The breakfast staff was also very good specially dealing some very demanding customer. There was also great variety at breakfast.. all in all a great resort!

We booked a family Shalet. It was exceptional, very comfortable, great view, and we loved it. The service was great, everyone smiling and kind. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a very wide selection of foods. The prices in the bars and restaurant were relatively reasonable for a 5-star hotel. Generally, we enjoyed our stay very much.

We know it is a resort inside the rain forest, which comes with its own problems regarding wildlife, but the ants infestation on the beach was very difficult. They were on everything, on tables, chairs, ground. We had to cope with ant bites in our legs and body for the whole stay duration. It would also be nice to have at least a half board option for the stay.

The purpose of our trip was to have a quiet getaway away for my wife’s birthday. The location was perfect for us.

The gold carts were convenient, but offering bicycles too would make it more convenient to get out and explore the whole resort as well as nearby sightseeing spots.

Super friendly staff and very well looked after

Rooms in mature secondary jungle setting, buggy service to rooms, pool area, pool bar, beach, cafe/restaurant, free mini bar, housekeeping,

Rooms a little tired although everything worked, jungle canopy meant rooms were a little dark, breakfast area could also do with a refurb, layout not the best, can feel cramped

The location & staff were excellent

Very old & tired needs a revamp
