Receptionist Rehana was very polite and helpful.

Requested a quiet room and was allocated one or so I thought. Unfortunately, it was by a fire door which slammed shut every time someone passed through. Ok during the night but not happy at being woken up at 0500 by guests leaving early.

I have stayed here about half a dozen times over the last three years as I have family nearby. It is a nice hotel, and I will stay there again. Beds are comfortable and the breakfast is pretty good. The only downside is that the WiFi has been very patchy on my last two visits.

This us the 3rd time in two years that we have stayed at the Weetwood hotel. We love this hotel as it is close to our son's dormatory at RIASA. The rooms are vety comfortable and very clean. We LOVE ending our dats at Stables Pub and especially enjoy the bartender there, Chloe. She always makes us feel "at home".

Clean, convenient. I thought the Manor house room i had chosen would have been more traditional. The hallway etc into the Manor house area was warm and inviting but dissapointing on entering the room with its cold white lights. Definitely over priced for this room.I stayed in this hotel last year in a different room a lot less expensive. That is what I would choose if I returned to this hotel. I would not pay £460 for a manor house room for 2 nights. I had to chase reception to service the room . All in all, a pleasant stay but the manor house rooms are over priced without a point of difference.

Great hotel good location for north Leeds and places North of Leeds

Clean and comfortable with lovely reception area, cosy pub and nice restaurant onsite. Very conveniently located on edge of Leeds (15 minutes drive from centre). Ubers cost around £9 into city centre .

The hotel is in a good location, close to pubs, restaurants and various tourist attractions. It has a country hotel feel being set in beautiful spacious grounds with ample parking (details must be registered!) My room was a little cramped with a comfortable bed and around the window bare York stone was a nice touch. The bathroom was a decent size with ample storage space. Most of the staff were friendly, polite and professional although conflicting information was given regarding offers on the catering in the hotel. The meals and drinks were a bit pricey but the room rate exceptional value.

Booked the hotel as near to where I wanted to visit. From check-in to check-out I was very impressed. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Will use again as a first choice if I am in the area again.

We enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. Staff were absolutely wonderful, helpful and caring Highly recommend this property.

Stayed here for work so booked a single room. The room size was perfect for what I needed, a double bed, tv, decent sized bathroom and everything for a good night stay. The carpet had a massive iron mark on it and wasn’t so clean, didn’t effect me for my trip bit worth mentioning. I was happy with the room bur unfortunately it backed on to the busy dual carriage way so noise from the road was quite bad and did wake me up a few times. If you want a quiet night request an room that didn’t back on to that road

Convenient hotel for overnight stop on our travels south. Nice breakfast to set us on our way.

Room was clean but there was evidence it hadn't been thoroughly clean following last resident eg. half used coffee sachets left and tea/coffee area not re stocked

Dom checked us in and helped take our suitcase to our room, he made us feel so welcome, we will definitely be back to stay, he is an amazing member of staff, a credit to the hotel, as me and my wife are 80 yrs old.

I had 1 night here & was quite disappointed, perhaps my expectations were higher after reading other reviews & it being a 4 star hotel. I travel a lot & personally wouldn’t put it on par with other 4 star hotels. A lot of reviews mention how clean it was but I walked in to find the toilet seats up in the bathroom & obvious signs it had been used & not flushed properly. However, after a 3 hour drive, I needed it myself so whilst I regret not raising it at the time (partly as I didn’t feel particularly welcomed when I arrived), I simply couldn’t wait. The room was also very dusty & visibly so, perhaps from the room being vacant a while since its last clean? The kettle, spoon & glass (with greasy fingerprints) on the amenities tray were unclean & covered in dust too so put me off making a drink. The safe was in the corner of the room on the floor, it was locked shut & unable to be used. The room also stated it had a laptop workstation but as the only usable surface in the room, it was crowded & didn’t really leave much room for a laptop. The ratio of the wooden stool & height of the desk also meant you couldn’t work at the desk comfortably as the desk was a fair way above elbow height when seated. Despite the thin mattress topper, I could feel the springs of the mattress in the bed & there was also quite a bit of banging noises around midnight so didn’t make for the best sleep. I also wasn’t asked about my stay when I left or I would have raised some of these issues then.

Very well run and very good standard and worth the money. My only criticism is that the drive leading to the property from Otley Road needs a contractor brought in to resurface - potholes are not good for welcoming guests quite apart from the potential damage to cars. Did say to reception who noted.

Whole hotel was spotless. Room was spacious and was actually able open a window on a hot evening where plenty of other don't have tgat option. Dom went above and beyond to make sure all our guests had everything they needed.

Very nice hotel

Quit and helpful staff. No air con in my room, had to leave the window open, close to road and vehicle noise. That said will be staying again when back in Leeds.

Delivered everything we expected. Not too far to walk to Headingley Cricket Ground.

Lovely location and convenient for visiting Headingley Stadium.The man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and we had a bed upgrade, from a single to a double which was lovely, although the view was not good (looking out the back, where staff go for their break). We did not have enough cups for the number of people in the room but this was rectified as soon as we let them know along with extra biscuits, which was nice. The food in the restaurant was ok but very expensive. The pub was pleasant with live music and the courtyard was lovely to sit in especially as the weather was hot. Breakfast was good, a wide range to choose from, although the food did run out quickly and there was a little wait for things to be refilled. The hot drinks were delivered to you and again there was a little wait for this. Check out was quick. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend booking this hotel.

Only issue was the lack of air conditioning. For a hotel like this I'd expect ac. It wasn't that hot for the two days we were there,but it was quite uncomfortable

The hotel look was incredible. Room was good. Good shower although dark curtain made it feel dark. Watch out for adding tips when buying a drink only in th restaurant! Ate in the pub and was tasty although would have liked a steak option as mainly burgers and pizza. Breakfast was my favourite part even having a pancake maker!

The room lacked a fridge. Also could clearly hear the noises from the outside bar. The room cleaner didn’t clean the bathroom very well, my towels were left to one side and they weren’t replaced

Lovely room and very clean. Only issue is the noise at night people going back to there rooms drunk and shouting to each other from room to room. Not ideal when you have to be up at 1.30 am

Bathroom smelt of damp/sewage & had silverfish in it.

I checked into my room. The window was open which is usual after a clean. However as I pulled the window shut the handle came off and screws and nuts fell on the floor. I could see both windows were I a very tired worn out state. Sadly we I told reception and gave them the broken handle it was not repaired which I thought very strange. I enjoyed the room and the bar and breakfast was very nice. Pity about the windows

Beautiful Grounds & Historic Setting: Comfortable Rooms Convenient Location Overall, Weetwood Hall Estate offers a charming and comfortable stay, especially appreciated for its historic ambiance and friendly staff. However, if I were to pick a fault it would be the temperature of the breakfast.

Hotel very clean Excellent choice of breakfast. Staff were exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service. Restaurant menu didnt have a great choice especially vegetarian. Only downside to our stay was the noise from the bypass very loud even with the window and curtains closed.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service, anticipating our beverage orders. We would gladly return.

Overall very happy with our stay. Only some attention to detail issues. Our room was not ready on arrival. We didn't wait long but it wasn't as if we arrived early. Also we were offered drinks while waiting which I later found out we were charged for. Our tea and coffee was not replenished after the first night.

Every member of the staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we entered the reception area. The room was exactly as expected and was clean and very well presented throughout. There was a good selection available for breakfast and again the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our evening meals were taken at the Stables pub, the food was excellent and there was a good selection of quality beers on tap as well as a wide variety of other drinks. We were always served by Chloe who deserves a special mention as she was perfect in everything she did and made us feel right at home straight away. Overall we had an excellent stay and will certainly be returning. We could not fault a single thing or person at all, please keep up the great work you all do.

The vibe is more like business hotel, boring and it lacks holiday-making ambience.

Thought this hotel would be high standard the setting is lovely how tel clean , but food only average breakfast was self service but cold, coffee at breakfast only warm, . Lunch was not very nice very odd combinations offered , dry puddings no cream or custard .i won’t return

Didn’t realise we booked an accessible room it gave us the option like all room 2 x twin beds or king size zipped We chose king Not a very comfy stay as the beds kept separating which I then realised they could not be zipped Reported to reception next day who would have moved us rooms but my husband did not want to mess about Apparently it’s the hotels.com website that is wrong and if we had booked direct through them it wouldn’t of allowed us to make this option Food ok but not what we are used to when we go away Very pricey for drinks No house wine and a standard bottle of Sauvignon £37 wished we’d of taken our own Weather beautiful so plenty walks/ trails near by

A large hotel set in its own grounds. We had a comfortable double room on the ground floor. It was a bright room with a bay window looking out onto the courtyard and across to stables bar. We had breakfast included and it was self service, there was a large choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt. You could help yourself to a continental or full English. There is even fresh honey straight from their own beehives. You are a short drive from Leeds city centre. There is a bus stop at the end of the drive if you fancy leaving the car or taxi service.

Just what you would expect from four star rating. There was nothing ‘stand out’ about it. At breakfast staff were good but they run out out of several items at the buffet.

We stayed in a room on the second floor. It was spacious, very clean, and provided a large comfortanle double bed and a separate single bed. The bathroom was in pristine condition. The room was very quiet and we had an undisturbed sleep. The buffet breakfast provided a range of food to suit everyone's taste. We had a very tasty full English breakfast comprising eggs, bacon, sausages and tomatoes. There was a pancake making machine but I didn't have the confidence to have a go; maybe next time. The reception staff were very helpful and efficient.

Everything is always Great at Weetwood Hall. The only thing lacking is the entertainment provided, could do with more TV channels. Movies and Sports.

Unfortunately our room smelt of stale smoke, we had very noisy neighbours. Very little sleep. The breakfast hot area; black pudding and hash browns were very under cooked. We complained to staff but was not offered any compensation. Disappointing

Comfortable, clean, well appointed. Radiator control was not working correctly in either bedroom or bathroom. Was not resolved. Bar or foodredit available for any day room servicing was not needed, good idea. Food options of very good standard.

What a lovely surprise! When I learnt this was a conference centre, I was unsure, but it was the most conveniently placed for my work. I'm so glad I did. The whole ambience was lovely, with a spacious, warm, comfortable room and lots of TV options. Breakfast had a wonderful variety of top quality locally sourced food, and a bonus was the Stables Pub with real ale and pub classics like chilli, fish & chips, beef and ale pie. The icing on the cake was a £5 voucher for each day you opted not to have your room serviced (max 3 days). This could be used against anything on the premises. I hope to be back soon

Overall lovely place to stay. My room was right next to the roundabout though, so could hear all the traffic going past. Room was lovely and tidy throughout my stay, and always replenished. I had a dusty bottle of water on one of the days, but didn’t bother me too much. Downstairs restaurant (Convive) is nice, good selection of food, reasonable price, and service was really good. Didn’t try out the Stables pub though. Parking included and lots of spaces.

Didn't rate convive restaurant, doesn't hit the mark. Room was nice, but you can hear the passing traffic, could do with secondary glazing. Will definitely visit again. Breakfast very good, with a large choice.

Helpful staff greeted us in a friendly manner. The room with a King sized bed was set out with comfortable chairs and fridge and TV and plenty of space. Breakfast had plenty of choice ranging from fruit & yoghurt to continental choices to cooked English breakfast. The pancake maker was brilliant with actual honey comb.

Really enjoyed the stay, very friendly and attentive staff. Great little pub adjoining.

Good hotel, lovely surroundings. Room was ok. Bed was too firm for my liking. Big gap under the door which meant I heard everyone and every conversation in the corridor. The outdoor lighting on the eaves shone through the window, even with the curtain closed. I woke thinking it was morning (due to the light) but was 2am. Breakfast was poor. Great selection, but 'hot' food wasn't hot - ate at 8am. Sausages were terrible. Toast was 'warm' bread.

We stayed as we were evening guests at a wedding, the hotel was ideal great price and all staff were great. The only thing my wife would have liked would have been a long mirror to admire how beautiful she looked, she also struggled to do her makeup with the mirrors she had provided but we got by

Had a lovely stay at Weetwood Hall, lovely staff at the desk, always helpful, and smiling. Good restaurant options with the “stable pub” and the Convive restaurant. Nice breakfast, served hot with lovely continental options. Loved it and highly recommend

Booked to visit family after missing out on a slightly cheaper hotel, best thing that could've happened! Amazing staff and room perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was the cherry on top🎉 On site restaurant and pub added to a brilliant weekend🍻

Booked this hotel for myself for a business trip as the photos looked pretty good. Unfortunately in reality the hotel is very tired looking. One of the cushions on the bed was discoloured, TV had a burned image of the menu, bathroom ceiling flaking and the mattress had a slope on it haha. Staff were lovely though, I just feel like the hotel hasn’t had a refurb since the early 90s and it shows. Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast either.

Overall very good, but disappointed with the shower.

Seemed very nice in approach. I didn’t need much just a room for a short stay . But the hotel has a few night lights lighting up the courtyard. One right outside my window and due to the curtains not fitting right to the edge I had bright light in through the window the whole night. Why the lights can’t be turned off through the night for a bit if customer comfort is beyond me. Spoilt what could have been a nice dtay
